I think you're talking about Doug Horne who says they were not so much altered as they were staged. Pulling the scalp over the gaping hole for example... And if there really was no alteration to those photos... they conflict with the x-rays, which we KNOW were altered, retaken and replaced... (Dr. Ebersol ARRB) Based on that X-ray, there's nothing above the right eye over to the nasal cavity and back to the middle of his head... and look also over the LEFT eye as Father Huber described.... Zavada was Kodak... Horne was the medical evidence... Two things to follow your quality post and observations... The experiments were done with college athletes with notice, to turn their heads... And they couldn't do it in the 2 FRAMES allowed by Greer's 2 examples. 2nd, and I've mentioned this before as it gets overlooked a lot.... If WDSU-TV gave the negative of this photo to Life Magazine, why did Life pay Voebel $75.00 for it, as stated in Armstrong's Harvey and Lee? WDSU took a photo of the photo... this is the reference for the $75 so I've asked John/Jim to help explain... My guess is that some payment was needed for publishing the work and since WDSU did not actually take the original photo, Voebel gets a taste.... The image was not placed into LIFE until Feb 1964.... CE284. This is from an Armstrong notebook on VOEBEL... If the picture was taken in 1954, how did WDSU have it in 1963? The News Director said it had never been published before. The limo "drifted" to the left of center (driver's POV) on Elm St. I don't recall if it actually made a complete lane change or if it was simply "pointed" more or less "left of center" -- My best recollection is that it was partially in the left lane and partially in the center lane by the time it reached the steps leading up the Grassy Knoll next to the so-called Zapruder pedestal. Similar to what is seen in the extant film, JFK had been hit at least once by the time the limo emerged from behind the Stemmon's sign, elbows raised up, his torso apparently frozen, his "protection" inexplicably absent...a sitting duck. There is absolutely no question as to whether or not the limo came to a complete and FULL stop. The car stopped. Completely. No motion whatsoever. The limo remained motionless for approximately 2 seconds. I'm surprised the Queen Mary didn't rear-end it. The head shot most obviously came from the right front. A detail that is missing from the motion of JFK in the extant film has to do with the difference between: "back and to the left" --and--"up, then fall to the left". My recollection is that he was "lifted up" from his seat to a discernible degree before falling to his left. This "body motion" appeared to be much slower than the jerky, abrupt, "snap" seen in the extant film. Rich had a few items that I didn't recall and vice versa. For instance, unlike what Rich reported, I don't recall a shot from behind that caused JFK's head to move forward initially just before the fatal head shot from the front. That doesn't mean it didn't happen. I just may not have registered that for whatever reason. I also recall that several Secret Service Agents climbed out of the Queen Mary with (what appeared to be) automatic weapons drawn apparently looking to return fire. They appeared to be very disoriented. Then they climbed back in and sped off. There was a considerable gap between the time the X-100 sped off and the Queen Mary sped off. Rich did not recall the agents climbing out of the limo.

Hi Don, good to see you posting. IDK about you but in the mid 70's when I graduated Jr High we had all sorts of fun things in that yearbook... I believe the last sentence continues... "... and had been stopping: into different classrooms to take photos...." What difference does it make in any case? The photo is real, Myra DeRouse even identified the classroom and some of those in the photo but did NOT recognize that boy as the Harvey Oswald she knew.

Because according to the "15-day visa plan" Oswald should have left by the 2nd... Sept 17th... 18th - 30th = 13 days. Oswald must leave on the 2nd, early in the morning.... the 15th day. If sun was shining on any part of that area.... why are the tree trunks and smaller trees also the same 2d black? They show no depth, very little off-black hues.... I remember the photo but if you could remind me of the photographer and if we know the focal mm used... I searched and found that I did an overlay to see about the trees and sun... So I just used contrast and was able to create that ALL BLACK flat looking image... we need HUGE scans of original negatives/images... There must be some shade back there, especially to the left of our shadow figure, as we'd see the leaves more like those in front of the wall... The large tree that he just walked by could be the shade source...

Because that also describes Oswald and compared to the Mexicans... he has a thin face...
