I was only pointing out to a more period correct Mauser, how that looks like (the specific engraving on top).    I believe there are versions out there that have a larger fontsize, I'll post those when I get the pictures.  Not that it would make any difference to what ever. As said, merely the proof of a 7.65 Mauser existing with that engraving on top... no more... no less...

And we all know Craig changed his story a number of times, all the way up to the roof...

It's been almost two years since you said you would post the pictures. Can you do it now?

How is the audio of the Parkland doctors' press conference going to be available soon? Has the U.S. Government even acknowledged that such a recording exists? The last time the government got its hands on such recordings, such as the TV films, they disappeared never to be found again.

From Bales’ reports, it’s clear he recorded at Parkland. Doesn’t matter if the government acknowledges the recording or not.

What recording exactly that disappeared in the government’s hands?

  3. Maybe soon, maybe not. Or maybe never. We’ll see. Anyway, there was that old man with a bowtie and a big microphone when Malcom Kilduff was talking. Nobody seems to have ever bothered to find out who he is. We now know his name. It’s Arthur W. Bales, Chief of the White House Communications Corp. He seems to have recorded the whole conference. I doubt his recording is mentioned in the WC or HSCA volumes. He was in a motorcade vehicle and got off in front of the grassy knoll before heading to Parkland. Researcher Alex Harris is making the necessary efforts to get a copy of the audio I feel confident are still existing. Linda Zambanini is the one who found a photo of Bales for my Motorcade Identification project blog.

Your website represents a lot of very diligent work. Well done.

Regarding Wyrick, your website notes that he heard "4 shots in rapid succession" that came from "right over his head." Actually, I think he heard 3 shots that came from right over his head, plus a couple more from the street, one of which he misinterpreted as an echo, the other of which was part of the double bang with a shot that originated from the TSBD window, which he confused with a shot from there. At any rate, his name should be added to the "4 shot" witnesses.

Who is the other witness, and the "almost a third" witness? (not clear from your website)

Has the "cowboy" or "Stetson Hat Man" (i.e., the Black man with glasses and wearing light colored clothes and a light colored cowboy hat, standing in front of the TSBD) ever been identified? Given his position and that he can be seen in various films, etc. looking down Elm Street and also up towards the TSBD window, I'd be very interested in what he had to say, if such statements can be found.

« Almost a 3rd one ». It is the lady toward the bottom of the page who was interviewed on the grassy knoll by the Four Days in November documentary. She’s also seen in the DPD hallways. I assume she was interviewed by the police. A police interview report should make it clear that it is her.

The cowboy is unknown, as far as I know.

  5. The case has been muddied by conspiracy theorists who want to cover up the truth. One of their favourite tools is to tell you to not examine the WC volumes. Another one is to keep bringing back myths that were resolved more than 50 years ago like the Mauser VS Carcanno debate. Don’t let them influence you.

  6. One of them, Eugene Calaway Wyrick, looks like one of the spectators in front of the TSBD. I discovered him in the Dallas Times Herald archives when I was in Dallas last November. His address was mentioned, so I knocked on the door of that address. Unfortunately, the person living there had no idea of who I was talking about.

  7. Barnes testified that he took a photo of Oswald when he got out of the jail elevator. He then proceeded quickly outside with his audio tech Ted Mann. We see Barnes taking film and sped away in the car he rented with the goal of following Oswald wherever he was going. The driver was an off-duty DPD officer. I doubt any of his material has ever been published. Barnes is also responsible for introducing David Ferrie into the WC Volumes.
