In 2001 when I organized for John Bevalacqua to contact the son, I posted the results of John's discussion with him, along with most of my research pertaining to Hjalmar and Robert. I was soon contacted by George Michael and asked to cease looking into those areas as he himself was on the verge of uncovering a familial relationship between the two men. Obviously that didn't pan out, and was probably the sole disappointment I had with the book - though only because of the expectation built. It was in all respects, an outstanding work. John btw, was also taken by the charm of Mr Schacht - in fact, I'm tempted to suggest, taken in by his charm .. but then, I was not there and any such suggestion may be unfair on both.... In fact I was unable to take the time to go digging for any birth certificates either due to previous commitments. I think that if their was any familial relationship, George Michael Evica would have discovered it. He was only 65 miles away in Hartford. There are over 2,000 Schacht's in one 411 directory I queried in the U.S. alone. I do think that you are being unfair to both of us given the fact that we both were involved with our careers, our families and our research simultaneously. Oft times, here on the Forum the response to a very revealing post such as the one Bill Kelly has made here, would be to supply supplemental documentation buttressing the facts and/or assertions contained therein. Many of the Califano papers are incredibly lengthy, and I am not as well versed as some are in that area. So instead, I would like to take a moment to hopefully to do something just as important, which is to address the advocated, some might say "pablum for the masses" theories on the Castro did it wellwishers and the illogical or, downright ludicrous claims they espouse...... One claim is the allegation that Fabian Escalante was scurrying back to Cuba after coordinating the assasination of JFK in Dallas..... Counterpoint: Does anyone really believe if that was true that, there would not be a counterintelligence operation that had been monitoring it from the beginning, or close to it, and that if you accept the aforementioned premise, that there would also not be any photographs and supporting factual documentation showing Escalante in the act of doing what it is claimed he was doing? Instead, we are supposed to assume that yes "that is what happened," but the documentation is postponed in full in the archives, even though it is, in essence the linkage that would have given the causus belli for the invasion that subsequently, never happened. To which my next response would be, not buying that either; for if such material did exist, the desired action of assassinating President Kennedy and eliminating Castro by a accompanying invasion would have the de facto Cuban involvement in the assassination, that in my view, has never existed! I never considered either Gus Russo or Lamar Waldron to be anything but totally clueless and completely careless on the JFK case, almost to the point that they should be considered deliberate disiniformation artists. Other big losers were StackBin, MetCeram, Bern Industries and Pacific Mortgage and Realty Trust. We made up a fake name for a G.H. Walker, Laird, big loser Mutual Fund to be called: "HasBin Burned, Crammed, Mortgaged and Drugged" as a composite for all the rip-offs foisted on the American public from their St. Louis based brokerage firm. They were not amused. As they were going out of business, they sold out first to White, Weld in Boston owned by a Massachusetts politician named Weld, then later to Merrill Lynch. Pershing's cavalry. This group was so successful that these alliances would be recreated whenever the WASP or arch-Catholic establishment was threatened. This pattern would be repeated by friends and relatives of these four self appointed saviors of the human race and the Mother Church for almost 100 years. The offspring of this original alliance also declared war on Saddam Hussein and Iraq using a tried and true pattern to safeguard private oil investment interests using the U.S. Military while defeating the Infidels and Heathens of the Muslim Empire. Former Treasury Secretary Nicholas F. Brady is the grandson of Anthony N. Brady and George H. W. Bush and family were very friendly with both the Tobacco Grays and the Textile Drapers who added their own unified quest for Master Race Eugenics based on tried and proved Yale University Skull and Bones connections. The leadership of any country or any rogue banditos who got in their way were swiftly eliminated. From Pancho Villa to Geronimo to Sacco and Vanzetti to Alger Hiss to Jacobo Arbenz to Trujillo to John F. Kennedy to Martin Luther King to Archbishop Oscar Romero to Benigno Aquino. And the first ones to form selective private assassination squads were OSS agents like Ulius L. "Pete" Amoss and Draper Eugenicist Carleton "Indiana Jones" Coon who were directly or indirectly funded by the likes of Clendenin J. Ryan, Sr. Ryan's son, Clendenin J. Ryan, Jr. was the college roomate of Douglas Caddy when Charles Edison the son of Thomas Alva Edison helped to fund William F. Buckley, Jr.'s Young Americans for Freedom organization (according to Caddy) and other organizations like the Committee of Citizens to Aid the Katanga Freedom Fighters. And the original Nicholas Frederic Brady, Sr. was called upon by William F. Buckley, Sr. to help him fight off attempts by the Mexican government to nationalize Pantapec Oil and to chase down Pancho Villa. They failed in the first attempt but succeeded in the second venture. The pattern was set for the balance of the 20th Century and into the 21st Century. This link from the people who hunted down Pancho Villa to those who hunted down John F. Kennedy almost 50 years later is just a phenomenal piece of information. Buckleys, Angletons, Ryans, Drapers and Bradys, generation after generation of intrigue, intervention and apprehension and no one is any the wiser. Guess that is why they call it intelligent covert operations. Too bad, I tried to get you all to listen and act on this new evidence but mostly for naught. Clendenin J. Ryan was so rich and so Catholic that he donated the massive stained glass window at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. One of the Brady's received the highest laymen's distinction within the Church. And all this after they wreaked havoc on everyone who stood in their way. Is it too late now to do anything about it? Probably.

I have had great difficulty in convincing anyone about the massive significance of the long standing ties between Wickliffe Draper and C. D. Jackson, which go back to that 1924 wedding of William Howard Taft's nephew and Wickliffe Draper's sister when Wickcliffe was an usher or the best man, forget which one. I had to truck it to the Hopedale Public Library and go through decades of newspaper clippings before stumbling onto this little gem. And the fact that Ulius Amoss actually went to work for Frank Wisner at the CIA while still publishing the ISI Foundation's periodical which was discovered by James Richards I think, is another really nice gem. Frank Wisner was ultimately quite chagrined to find out that the CIA stable of programmed assassins were turned against JFK and that he was somehow directly or indirectly responsible. More and more deleterious information is coming to forefront about Gen. Bonner Fellers, on the masthead of the ISI Foundation, of Ulius Amoss, along with Charles A. Willoughby as well. Hitler called Fellers "our best source of information" and Fellers made the mistake of praising Hitler at a public forum or speech. And MacArthur called Willoughby "My little Fascist" as documented by Dick Russell in TMWKTM. The fact that there were several American Generals who snuck into the service of the U.S. Government whose real allegiances still were with Nazi Germany including Albert C. Wedemeyer and George Stratemeyer, both German born and raised. Wedemeyer was the suspected source of a security leak regarding the US war plans published by Robert McCormick in the Chicago Tribune. McCormick was a reich-winger, a founder of the America First Committee and also had strong pro-Nazi sympathies along with William Regnery of Regnery Publishers. America First tried to keep the US neutral so Hitler could have his way in Europe. And never forget that Anastase Vonsiatsky "ran every White Russian spy in North America" according to Charles Higham and that would INCLUDE "George deMohrenschildt". Cline was in Taiwan (in the Pink Palace) when Lee Harvey Oswald was there, he was in Tsingtao and/or Mukden when Robert Emmett Johnson was there (probably being programmed Manchurian Candiate style), and Cline was also in the Phillippines when Benito Acquino was assassinated, (circa 1983?) according to a career foreign diplomat who married into my family. The way that the Manchurian Candidate styled techniques used on the Japanese Kamikaze pilots in Harbin, Manchuria made its way into mainstream Reich Wing extremist hands was via Dr. Hans J. Eysenck of both The Pioneer Fund of Wickliffe Draper and the MKULTRA projects of the Angletons, the Grays, the Drapers and the Bushes. He was the only person invovled with both sides of the fence and he was a dedicated Nazi sympathizer as well. The fact that these techniques were likely used on both the PLO bombers and the 911 pilots is a sad testament to the fact that "what goes around comes around". The CIA should have just buried and burned the training manuals for Manchurian Candidate programming. Instead the Genie is out of the bottle for good (and for evil, of course.) So it can finally be stated that the Eugenics based Draper influenced pro-Nazi Fascist sympathizers mentioned in The Manchurian Candidate by Richard Condon (written in 1958) were behind the entire plot to kill JFK. They also used C.D. Jackson to purchase and alter the Zapruder Film for Life Magazine, and relied upon professional pro-Fascist scapegoaters who also appeared in The Manchurian Candidate like Dr. Revilo P. Oliver and Rev. Gerald L K Smith to obliterate the Trail of the Assassins and to concoct alternative scenarios in order to deflect attention from the actual perps. Oswald was in fact another programmed Manchurian Candiate assassin just like Robert Emmett Johnson, but he still could never have made the kill shots from the Depository. Oswald was chosen as the "perfect patsy" because his presence in the plot would force the U.S. Government to go along with the entire cover-up for fear of exposing the roles of the likes of James Angleton, Carleton Coon, Allen Dulles, Ulius Amoss, Charles Willoughby, Bonner Fellers, Ray S. Cline, Robert J. Morris and others in MKULTRA or Operation Bluebird, and several other assassinations against foreign leaders who were inimical to the interests of the USA. Side note: Is it possible that the Frank Wisner and Cord Meyer suicides were as a direct result of being drawn into either the actual JFK plot against their wills, or as a result of discovering who the actual killers were and not being able to do anything about it either before or after the fact? My naivete might be showing here, but even though JFK allegedly slept with Cord Meyer's wife, I can not fathom why Cord Meyer would voluntarily participate in an anti-JFK plot. And even though Frank Wisner had some serious Mississippi family and corporate ties, I can not see him willingly plotting against JFK either. But I could be wrong on this score.

My thinking is that the murder of Orlando Letelier, U.S. Ambassador from Chile, allegedly by the Novo brothers and Frank Strugis was just a continued link in an attempt at regaining appropriated Copper mining interests, then protecting the copper interests from the Commies. Phelps, Dodge, Freeport McMoran, ITT and Clendenin J. Ryan's family all had reasons to kick the Commies out of Chile now that JFK was dead and they used some of the same anti-Castro Cuban exiles who helped them get rid of JFK. It was a United Fruit Guatamala or Pantapec Oil and Mexico type of issue, where paid mercenaries were used to either protect or recover industrial interests lost to the communists. Ryan wanted to put his friends on the ITT Board because he felt that Behn was not doing enough to protect Chile from Communist insurgents and he was later proven to be correct. Salvador Allende later came into power and made life difficult for American Copper Mining interests in Chile for years. Hendrix was a small headed, beady little sneak with giant, oversized thick lensed, black horn-rimmed glasses which made his eyes look like those of a preying mantis or grasshopper. I knew him in the early 1960's and that photo must have been either really old or not even an actual photo of Hal Hendrix. He once accidently published a story in The Miami News about a revolution in a Caribbean counry, perhaps the Dominican Republic, the day before it happened. Can not recall the leftist leader who was toppled but it caused quite a stir. His name was Juan Bosch as I recall now. No relation to Orlando Bosch of Alpha 66 in Miami however. Juan Bosch wrote a scathing indictment of US imperialist foreign policy strongarm tactics either just before or after he was deposed as head of his nation for not kow-towing to US foreign investment interests enough to satisfy their greedy souls. Clendenin James Ryan was best known as the Publisher and owner of The American Mercury Magazine, published in Baltimore, Maryland in the early 1950s when McCarthyism was at it strongest. Ryan mingled with millionaires, politicians and military and intelligence operatives for most of his life and he knew how to wield power in order to get what he wanted done. He and Godfrey Rockefeller were stockholders in the Enterprise Development Corporation, a closed end investment trust for the heirs of William Rockefeller and Thomas Fortune Ryan, Clendenin's entrepreneurial grandfather, who invested heavily in Copper Mining and smelting. The Directors of EDC included Clendenin J. Ryan himself, Frederic W. Lincoln, Jr. who married into the Rockefeller family, and an enigmatic individual, Morehead Patterson whose family owned American Machine and Foundry, AMF, originally the makers of the "Patterson Cigarette Packer" which automated the manufacture and packing of cigarettes around the turn of the Century (1897). Later AMF branched out during World War II into military machinery for gun loaders, missile movement and launch mechanisms, radar components and even parts for Rockwell International's B-29 bombers among other weapons of war. Only later did AMF diversify into Bowling pin spotters, the Ben Hogan Golf line and the Voit sporting goods division. Morehead Patterson and his family owned thousands of shares in the American Tobacco Company and R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and he was later on the Atomic Energy Commission as well. Patterson's family was close to both the Draper family Eugenics War Machine and the Nuclear interests of the Bowman Gray. Family's Reynolds Tobacco Company interests and the Willard F. Rockwell military interests in Viet Nam for the Minuteman Missiles and B-29 manufacturing process. Patterson would have been a natural link to coalesce interests among the North Carolina based anti-Union forces and anti-Communist efforts that included the Eugenicists involved with the Wickliffe Draper Textile loom equipment interests and The Pioneer Fund, the Bowman Gray RJR Tobacco interests the Morehead Patterson American Tobacco interests, and the links outside of North Carolina to the Willard F. Rockwell nexus of characters at Rockwell Intl which later bought out the failing Draper Corp. after the JFK Assassination. The Pattersons counted both the Rockwells, the Grays and the Drapers as the customers of American Machine and Foundry over the decades covering military, textile and tobacco applications. Clendenin Ryan, who was once characterized as a somewhat quixotic multi-millionaire once served as an assistant to Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia of New York City, ran for the New York mayoralty himself on an independent ticket and later campaigned for the governorship of New Jersey. He often sent large sums abroad to break up communist-inspired strikes and influence voters in favor of anti-communist candidates for higher office in France and other countries. What is not known about Ryan is the private life he led as a sort of combination Walter Mitty and Dudley Doright as he attempted to fight against any injustices or corruption that he discovered in his travels. Ryan served in the Navy during World War II under Admiral James Forrestal who eventually committed suicide under some very strange and suspicious circumstances after a distinguished career in the OSS, the CIA and the Navy. Clendenin J. Ryan also committed suicide at the age of 52 as did his father before him after a series of disappointments rocked his life. Clendenin J. Ryan was deeply committed as a financial backer of numerous adventurous schemes involving foreign intrigue bordering on violating The Neutrality Act, with another infamous spymaster and former OSS Colonel by the name of Ulius L. "Pete" Amoss who ran the Baltimore, MD based Information Services of Information, Inc. and GramTrade International which was later merged into the Boston Metals Processing Company of Baltimore, identified as a CIA commercial cover proprietary by Robert Maxwell of Iran-Contra fame. ISI which published INFORM, a private circulation subscription service which disseminated tidbits of intrigue, espionage and foreign intelligence starting just before the McCarthy era in the late 1940's. Ryan's relationships with these two intelligence agents and military men literally defined and characterized his own life which found him quite often emulating or imitating their lives of adventure, intrigue and espionage on a first hand basis as a self financed Soldier of Fortune and amateur spy of sorts. Ulius Amoss, once in the OSS, also delved into methods of programming paid assassains to do his bidding overseas and he worked very closely with Major Carleton S. Coon, an Anthropologist, OSS member and an Egyptologist on this project which eventually was merged into the MK/ULTRA operations of James J. Angleton and Ray S. Cline of the CIA. Ulius Amoss' prize progammed assassination pupils include Robert Emmett Johnson and Lee Harvey Oswald among others. If you review the parallels between Major Carleton S. Coon and the character "Indiana Jones" you can only come away convinced that Coon was the prototype and paradigm for the Jones character. Both Coon and Jones in "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", were actively involved with paranormal research sponsored by the OSS and the CIA and investigating UFO crashes, "alien encounters" and similar phenomena while using their "Professor of Anthropology" covers to gain easy entrance and access to foreign territories. Ryan and Amoss organized several headline grabbing privately funded covert operations in the 1950's including the hijacking of a Russian MiG by a Polish pilot from behind the Iron Curtain (succeeded), an attempt to kidnap the son of Lenin (failed), and other comparable ventures. and Ryan was a self-styled exposer of political corruption in Tammany Hall and a staunch anti-Communist super patriot and McCarthy supporter who used his family's vast fortunes earned by his father in Copper mining and smelting to carry out a personal vendetta against anyone he perceived to threaten his way of life or any of his vast investments in the Chilean Copper mines. He opposed Unions, Communism and Soviet oppression with equal fervor during his career as a self-styled extension of Senator Joe McCarthy himself whom he idolized. He even went so far as to lead a proxy fight against Sosthenes Benes, the founder of ITT, in order to get a majority of the Board of Directors elected at ITT who would support Ryan's efforts at preventing his family's Chilean Copper Mines from being nationalized if Chile ever came under Communist control. He used the excuse of trying to get Benes to pay a dividend on his family's ITT shares which had been skipped for 14 years as the justification for his proxy battle but in fact he had an ulterior motive behind his plans. And that was to assure that the use of ITT influence and control in Chile would prevent Chilean Communism from gaining a foothold. Later Salvador Allende and Orlando Letellier would lead a successful revolt which turned Chile into a Communist puppet state after he died and it took years to reverse that revolution. The actual fight for voting interest domination and Board of Directors control of IT&T started as early as 1947. It was then that Manhattan multi-millionnaire Clendenin J. Ryan made an unfriendly takeover attempt launched against Behn's dictatorial rule. It is now universally recognized that this inter-related and closely associated group of industrialists joined together to fight the inroads being made by the integrationists during the 1950's and included the Presidents of Greyhound Bus Lines (back-of-the bus seating boycotts), F. W. Woolworth's (the lunch couner sit-ins and demonstrations) and Penn Central (the porter strikes for union representation). These corporate giants fought long and hard to defeat the integrationist forces which included John F. Kennedy when he was first a Senator from Massachusetts and later as President. In a nutshell, it has been my impression - based upon very limited digging and reading, that the rise of the Third Reich was made possible by a number of forces, including some of the Bavarian religious organizations, but also with significant support from US racists and World Population control freaks over here in the US - among them would be Ford and Rockefeller, along with a lot of other affluent and powerful individuals, who preached Eugenics, had many similar beliefs as those of Hitler and his supporters, and went on to support the Reich before [directly], during [collaboration and protection of collaborators], and after [ratlines etc]? Energetic and prolific — a true American success story — Smith raised considerable sums of money through radio talks, direct mail campaigns, book distribution, and personal appearances. (We are lucky that he did not have the sort of long-term organizational talents that build and solidify mass movements.) All of Smith’s preachments were seasoned with a large dollop of paranoia and demagoguery. He believed, for example, that the Communists were plotting to seal off Manhattan Island by dynamiting its bridges and tunnels, and he circulated a spurious genealogy “tracing” Franklin Roosevelt’s “Jewish” ancestry. An ardent isolationist, he insisted that World War II was being fought only to protect European Jews and to preserve the British Empire. By 1942 he was blaming the Jews for his failure to win the Republican nomination for Senator in Michigan. In 1943 he created the America First Party in order to “save” white, Christian America. In 1948, repudiated even by the States’ Rights “Dixiecrats, ” he ran as the candidate of the Christian Nationalist Party on a platform that included white supremacy, deporting blacks and Zionist Jews, and constructing ghettoes for those Jews who remained. The government was controlled by Jews, he railed. Eisenhower was a “Swedish Jew. ” Harry S. Truman’s middle name? Solomon. By the time of the Eichmann trial in Israel, he was speculating that Eichmann, who “looks like a Jew to me, ” was collaborating in a Jewish conspiracy to gain money and sympathy for Israel. In the last 15 years of his life — he died in 1976 — Smith devoted much of his energy to creating a suitable monument to himself. Only the figure of Smith’s wife, and the bond between them, remains elusive. Overviewing Gerald L.K. Smith’s life, it is a relief to see that many ugly ideas that were respectable, or at least widely held, have now been assigned to the margins of American public life. But it is also edifying to remember that the bad old days are not really all that far in the past.

And now it turns out that Draper was the principal backer of IAAEE the International Association for the Advancment of Eugenics and Ehtnology (I think was the full title...) The Journal of Social Issues (1998) reports that the IAAEE's key "benefactor was Colonel Wickliffe Draper, a segregationist who opposed the civil rights movement of the 1960s and sought to fund research that would provide scientific justification for segregation and revive the concept of racial hygiene which had been discredited as a result of the Nazis. IAAEE received $82,000 in grants from the Pioneer Fund between 1971 and 1996. ... In the controversial book The Bell Curve, authors Charles Murray and Richard J. Hernstein recommend two books on race and intelligence by three Pioneer Fund recipients."240 GW Bush gave the eugenics crowd entry into his administration through his "Faith-Based Initiative" – an Orwellian term, like "New Freedom," that resulted in the hiring of Ananda Margan Steve McElravy at SAMHSA, under H&HS Secretart Tommy Thompson. Two men were placed in charge of the "Faith-Based" scheme, reports homeless activist Robert Lederman, "John J. DiIulio Jr. and Stephen Goldsmith. Both men are senior fellows of the CIA's Manhattan Institute and are colleagues of Charles Murray, author of the classic text of scientific racism, The Bell Curve." Hunt's sons only confirmed what Marita Lorenz and someone else I am very close to, have been saying for decades about persons suspected of being involved with both the JFK hit and Watergate like former CIA agent E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis. People like Gordon Winslow and even Gaeton Fonzi were convinced that Lorenz was fabricating what she described about her personal knowledge of the involvement of Jack Ruby, E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis and their ill-fated trip to Dallas, and they both went to great lengths for some reason, to convince everyone else that she suffered from "false memory syndrome" on these topics. Once I saw "Kram Diaz" going buddy-buddy and getting chummy with both Gordon Winslow and then Gaeton Fonzi I knew something was rotten in Denmark. Just suffice it to say that Frank Sturgis went out of his way to try and silence Marita Lorenz and anyone else who could implicate him directly in either the JFK hit or Watergate. Both Sturgis and Hunt were in Dallas that day, in either frontline or "back-up" roles as Hunt had stated shortly before his death and as Lilly Tomlin used to say: "And that's the truth." After Sturgis and his pals missed their chance at JFK in Miami after the motorcade was cancelled, they plotted all night in "Grapeland Heights" right down the road from Dr. Robert J. Did you know that Oswald once mistakenly wrote "3610 North Beckley" instead of "1026 North Beckley" I think it was, on his application for a P.O. Box in Dallas then crossed it out, leaving the mistake still legible before writing in the correct number? Does that mean Oswald in Miami at Dr. Robert J. Morris' home, was in fact a reality and that the 3610 North West 15th Street address in "Grapeland Heights" was firmly embedded in his memory? Count me in as a believer in this theory. Coincidence? Hardly. If Ruby could be in Miami gun running using that Pepto-Bismol pink Nash Rambler station wagon (later bought by Richard Bartholemew) on the Key West ferry to Cuba or to boats waiting on Islamorada in the Florida Keys, then Oswald could have very well have been in Miami, too. And this close business and personal relationship between Ruby and Oswald which stretched from Miami to New Orleans then on to Dallas would totally explain why Ruby "had" to snuff Oswald in the basement of the Dallas Police Station. Oswald was the only one who could drag Jack into the plot to kill JFK as a willing conspirator before the fact of the events in Dallas. You can bank on that. More later... And William F. Buckley was mentioned prominently in The Manchurian Candidate by Richard Condon in 1958, when he was referred to as: "...that fascinating young man who wrote about Man and God at Yale." Pershing's cavalry to chase down Pancho Villa, the Mexican bandito? George Otis Draper (Wickliffe Draper's uncle), Charles Willoughby and James Angleton's father who had married a Mexican woman. Look what the Drapers, Willoughby and the Angleton's did later (50 years later) in the JFK plot. More amazing stuff. Where did GLK Smith get the money to start building "Christ of the Ozarks" in Arkansas in the Spring of 1964? Smith was at The Giesbrecht Incident in Winnipeg in Feb of 1964 and got his windfall profits from Wickliffe Draper. Glenn Jeansonne documented the fact that Smith only had less than $5,000 in the bank as of 12/31/1963 and yet he spent almost a million dollars on Christ of the Ozarks starting in the Spring of 1964. Can you put 2 and 2 together? I did. And why did that character named "Kenneth Smith" go to the JFK conference in Dallas in 1993 or 1994 and ask me about my "Cross and the Flag" manuscript? His grandfather was GLK Smith and his grandfather's publication was called "The Cross and the Flag", that's why. His grandson at age 50 looked almost exaclty like his grandfather did at age 50. Don't waste your time citing John Armstrong as any kind of expert. Did you know that he once used that right wing nut who once worked for Sen. Strom Thurmond, Colonel Philip J. Corso as a cited and reliable authority until Corso started claiming he personally attended Alien Autopsies at Area 51. Corso claimed that this info was being withheld by the U.S. Government and he was going to produce an alien cadaver as proof of his thesis. Needless to say he only showed fuzzy 16mm films of what looked like an ET doll in a bed and he has forever been regarded as a kook and a psycho ever since. Armstrong wisely stopped citing Corso as his primary source for one of his weaker theories and that was the end of that. But can Armstrong ever live this down? Doubt it. Then the person who did the artwork for Connie Kurtzberg's first book related the story of his walking tour of Dallas with Jack White and John Armstrong which he described as "walking through downtown Jackson, Mississippi with a bunch of crackers hell bent on a racist, vituperative tirade". Those are his words not mine. So you see Kathy, you have to pick your heroes and citations very carefully. Armstrong is also a White Russian with a Ukrainian background, I believe, and he refuses to examine the obvious evidence about involvement with the White Russian community in Dallas with Oswald which is as plain as the nose on your face. For obvious reasons, I might add. He wrote a book about White Russians, Ukrainians and similar topics, you think he is going to drag them into the JFK conundrum? No way.

One link is that in 1932, Butler ran for the U.S. Senate in the Republican primary in Pennsylvania, allied with Gifford Pinchot, the brother of Amos Pinchot, who was the father of Mary Pinchot Meyer. They were themselves linked by their Quaker upbringing. The other link is that Smedley Butler was the first person to expose the Military Industrial Complex. In November 1935 Butler wrote an article for the socialist magazine Common Sense: "I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. Arthur in Manchurian Candidate who was the Presidential candidate of choice for those mind controllers. There are no references to MacArthur other than Benjamin K. Arthur (MacArthur's father was named Arthur MacArthur as well as his Grandfather which is a dead giveaway. There are no oil paintings of MacArthur in the novel but the movie version has 2 panned in closeups of MacArthur paintings added in by Frankheimer and Sinatra. Douglas MacArthur was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1880 in an upstairs room of the The Tower Building of the Little Rock Arsenal while his parents were briefly stationed there [3][4]. This group of investors included, among others, former Corporation for Public Broadcasting Chairman Alan Sagner, novelist E.L. Doctorow, actor Paul Newman and Peter Norton, computer software creator of Norton Utilities. Born in 1959, vanden Heuvel studied politics and history at Princeton University, writing her senior thesis on McCarthyism. She graduated summa cum laude from Princeton in 1981. She worked as a production assistant at ABC Television. According to a Princeton alumni publication, during her Junior year she had already worked "as a Nation intern for nine months after taking the 'Politics and the Press' course taught by Blair Clark, the magazine's editor from 1976 to 1978" and "returned to The Nation in 1984 as assistant editor for foreign affairs." Her father William vanden Heuvel served between 1953 and 1954 as executive assistant to William Joseph Donovan, founder of the Office of Strategic Services (forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)), during Donovan's tenure as U.S. Ambassador to Thailand. By the early 1960s vanden Heuvel was a special assistant to New York Governor Averill Harriman and then to U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy. In 1976 Bill vanden Heuvel was chairman of Jimmy Carter's New York primary campaign committee. Following Carter's victory, vanden Heuvel served from 1979 until 1981 as Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations with the rank of Ambassador. Today he sits on the board of the United Nations Association-USA and several other organizations. Her mother is Jean Stein, a renowned editor. In 1988 Katrina vanden Heuvel wed New York University history Professor Stephen F. Cohen, an expert on the Soviet Union. They have one daughter, Nicola. In 1989 vanden Heuvel was promoted to The Nation's editor-at-large position, responsible for its coverage of the USSR. In 1990 she co-founded Vyi i Myi ("You and We"), a quarterly feminist journal linking American and Russian women. She also did reporting for the Moscow News. In 1995, vanden Heuvel was made editor of The Nation. She and Navasky moved aggressively to expand The Nation via radio, the Internet, books and other synergistic opportunities. Vanden Heuvel's latest book is Taking Back America: And Taking Down the Radical Right (co-authored with Nation Contributing Editor Robert L. Borosage, co-director of the Campaign for America's Future); it is published by Nation Books. She and her husband are co-editors of Voices of Glasnost: Interviews with Gorbachev's Reformers (Norton, 1989) and editor of The Nation: 1865-1990, and the collection A Just Response: The Nation on Terrorism, Democracy and September 11, 2001. She is a frequent commentator on American and international politics on MSNBC, CNN, PBS, and ABC. Her articles have appeared in The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and The Boston Globe. Her weblog (thenation.com) is called "Editor's Cut".
