  1. Ron, I will try to address your comment, but I think I should do it on "The Oswald Code" thread. Give me a couple of days. Tom
  2. Hi Ron, What I'm referring to as "Primary Letters" are the first letters of each word in a piece of discourse. Any numbers are also included once they are translated into letters. This is a way of hiding one's puzzle . The label on the Undeliverable package reads: FOR LEE OSWALD 601 WEST NASSAUS ST DALLAS TEXAS IRVING TEXAS On the label, the word "Dallas" is crossed out except for the "D". The numbers "601" are to be translated into "GAB" using the number/letter device in my last post. "Irving Texas" is written below the label and is not visible in the link provided. With these things in mind, the label can now be viewed in a more convenient puzzle format: For Lee Oswald GAB West Nassaus St D_____ Texas Irving Texas Hence the 13 Primary Letters, "FLOGABWNSDTIT" Tom
  3. Hello Vitali, There is also the 1913 assassination of George 1 of Greece. He was supposedly shot by a lone-nut political malcontent named "Alekos". The label on the so-called "Undeliverable Package" is a series of anagram puzzles that can be made from the 13 primary letters on the label. The letters are: "FLOGABWNSDTIT". One anagram that can be made from these letters is: "1913 G-1 OSWALD FIT" I think we are being told two things here: That Oswald's situation in the assassination plot is a fit with Alekos, and that "Alekos" is the fuller meaning of "Alek" in the alias "Alek Hidell". Richard Case Nagell designed the majority of the puzzles, and I suspect that he plucked "A Hidell" from anagramming "Richard Case Nagell", which anagrams to: "A RCN GRACES 'A HIDELL'", or, "'A HIDELL' GRACES A RCN" The primary letters of "Alek James Hidell" are "A JH". A "J HOOVER", perhaps? And there is this 13-letter puzzle: "John Hurt, Ral NC" The primary letters are: "JH, RCN". The two opposing forces of "J Hoover", and "Richard Case Nagell", perhaps? Tom The Undeliverable Package label: http://www.jfkresearch.freehomepage.com/murr.htm Letter/Number translation device: (A=0)(B=1)(C=2)(D=3)(E=4)(F=5)(G=6)(H=7)(I=8)(J=9)(K=10)(L=11)(M=12)(N=13)(O=14)(P=15)(Q=16)(R=17)(S=18)(T=19)(U=20)(V=21)(W=22)(X=23)(Y=24)(Z=25) George 1 of Greece: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_I_of_Greece
  4. Original post deleted. Sorry Paul, on my original reading of your last post, I thought you were suggesting that GPH join the discussion and, of course, he is no longer with us. It was Weberman that you invited to join us and, like you, I would be interested to hear anything that A J Weberman would care to contribute. Actually, I'd like to buy him a beer sometime, or a Coke, shoot the breeze, you know? Tom
  5. My take, Greg: Brilliantly thought through and impeccably presented. Tom
  6. Hi Robert, You show three photos, and beneath the third photo is written, “Middle photo is of C2766”. However, the rifle in the “middle photo” bears the marking, “942-XX”. If you have inadvertently posted the wrong photo, could you fix it please? Thanks
  7. Tom Neal wrote: "...I don't think LHO was sending a covert message to the world of an assassination conspiracy. It is possible of course..." Tom, I disagree with the first part of your quote above, and agree with the second. I'm putting my take on the Oswald declaration, "I'M JUST A PATSY", on "The Oswald Code" thread so as not to clutter and divert this thread. Tom
  8. Way back on this thread I suggested the possibility that the bright light we were seeing in PM's hands was just that - a light. My suggestion was that if PM was Oswald, and Oswald was doing what I hypothesized, establishing an alibi for himself on a continuous strip of film, that he would need to light his own face and others that were standing with him in the shade. I suggest a movie camera, and many of the models made in that era had brackets where a continuous light source could be mounted. A still camera would merely need a flash, but if the bright spot we think we see is a light, it is not a flash, but continuous. And I agree with Greg and Terry, "We probably need to stop speculating and concentrate on getting the clearest rendition of it we can."
  9. Earlier, Greg had proposed an Imperial Reflex camera, a "view" camera, which means you would look down into the viewfinder, not bring it up to your eye. Later he said, "My best guess would be one that would fit in his pocket...", and all of those, if memory serves, are brought to one's eye to shoot.
  10. Greg, My suggestion for another way of looking at PM/Oswald is in post #1887 (Oswald creating an alibi for himself), but I would also like to suggest my candidate for a PM/Oswald camera. So as not to clutter and divert this thread, I will put my suggestion on "The Oswald Code" thread. Tom
  11. Instead of assuming that Lee Oswald may have been after some nice pictures of the President, try considering the following for a moment: Lee was the designated patsy and he knew it. He was not where he was assigned to be because the last shot to be fired that day was to be the one that killed him. Lee was establishing his alibi. Lee was not concerned with pictures of the President. Lee was concerned with photos of the people around him, and photos of himself in context, all on a continuous roll of film. This would be good to have in case the others gathered at the TSBD entrance somehow "forgot" that Lee had been with them. With the sun to the south in front of him, Lee was filming from the corner of the TSBD entrance where he was in the shade - optimal lighting conditions for what he needed to do. He was also close to the TSBD door so that he could get inside quickly to remove his film from the camera in the dark storage room. He put the film in a pre-addressed and stamped package, and hightailed it out of there. Tom
  12. In post #197, David Josephs included two Selective Service cards that were reported to have been found in Lee Oswald's wallet on the day of his arrest; one bearing the name "Lee Harvey Oswald", and one bearing the name "Alek James Hidell". My take on the significance and meaning of these two cards is on "The Oswald Code" thread. Tom
  13. David, Oswald’s arrest wallet supposedly contained $13.00 in cash – one five and eight ones. Was there a mention of money in the Wallet found at 10th and Patton? Tom
  14. Hi Chris, Thanks for the photo of Mr. Belknap (I could not seem to locate it yesterday) and thanks for the Mr. Rowland quote; I had not seen that before. An African-American reported as having a seizure is certainly a new wrinkle in the Belknap story for me. Hi Gene, Perhaps "beat it to death" was a poor choice of words. What I meant was, for those interested in Jerry's event, and the possible causes and effects of it, to dig out every last piece of information available and to discuss it fully. I have not been posting much recently on The Oswald Code thread. One reason is that I get almost no feedback and I take that to mean very little interest. Another reason I have not been posting is that the fellow I refer to as "Gabby", while not ubiquitous in the coded puzzles, is certainly an important member of "ICO" and I do not feel comfortable posting essential puzzle parts that include clues to his possible identity. The person I call "Gabby" is still alive, as far as I know, and he is not a public figure. Although I do not think so, there is also a real possibility that I may be wrong about his identity. Even though Jerry and Gabby are unsung heros in my hypothesis, their lives must have been lived with a dark cloud hanging overhead if my "ICO" hypothesis is correct. In my opinion, "Gabby" needs to be interviewed by a competent researcher and I have told two such researchers who I believe him to be. Since I'm not what one would call a competent researcher, nor am I in a position to travel half-way across the country, I would also share this with, say, Greg Burnham, John Simkin, Bill Simpich, Larry Hancock, Don Jeffries, Douglas Caddy, David Josephs, Gary Murr, and a half-dozen other researchers I can think of on this forum. But I will not bandy "Gabby's" possible real name about. That's enough Oswald Code stuff for this thread - my hypothesis comes "out of left field" for most, and my posts tend to be thread killes. Tom
  15. Hi Kathleen, Thanks a lot for the bump, but I'm afraid we have a case of mistaken identity. Actually more like a case coincidental hypothesis naming: "The Oswald Code". I've never spoken to A J Weberman, although I've read something about his life, and he seems like someone I'd like to shoot the breeze with some time. http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=21575 The link above might be the thread you want to bump. Douglass Caddy started it and put Mr. Weberman's video on there. Tom
  16. Hi Gene, Needless to say, I think your interest, and other researcher’s interest, in Jerry Belknap’s activities on the 22nd is important. The Presidential motorcade was due to pass the TSBD at very close to the time that Jerry and his ambulance were blocking progress down Elm Street. An interesting coincidence, if that is what it was. But even though the motorcade was running late, the Presidential motorcade stopped twice; once for the President to shake some hands, and once for the President to get out and interact with a nun with some children. This interesting coincidence, if that is what it was, seemingly prevented the motorcade from altering its planned route down Elm Street. Someone had apparently turned in some false alarms just prior to the assassination. Some suspect that the response time of the ambulance was being ascertained by that someone. Many people must have witnessed Jerry’s event. What did the witnesses have to say about it? Who were those witnesses? Did Jerry appear to be alone? Was anybody aiding him in any way? How long was it between the time he fell to the pavement and the ambulance took him away. What about Jerry’s personal life? Who were his friends? As far as I can tell, we know very little about the questions I have asked above. He was 23 years old and worked part time in the mail room at Dallas Morning News. He wore Olive Drabs that day. He said he had a head injury from a car accident and forgot to take his meds. The Hospital was busy with Kennedy shortly after Jerry arrived, and feeling better, he left. He came back to the hospital a day or two later and paid the $12.50 ambulance fee. Jerry Belknap died in 1986. I have only run across one photo of Jerry on line; his high school graduation picture. If there are any others out there, I would like to see them. Jerry has at least one living relative that I know of; a sister named Janice Odom. She had a distinguished career at the University of Texas at Austin and I believe is recently retired. Her Husband’s name is Jim and they have a son. I may have missed something, but that’s about all I think I know from extant research. I have my own opinions about who Jerry Belknap was and what he was doing that day. I will try to keep those opinions and my research that fostered those opinions confined to The Oswald Code thread. But Gene, I would be happy to see you and others beat this topic to death, and I will be happy to join in if and when I have something to contribute. Although Jerry and the events surrounding a possible delay in the motorcade seems to be on topic for this thread, there are at least three other threads on this forum that could be revived. Tom
  17. Hi Gene, Since most of my response would be off topic, I'll copy your post to "The Oswald Code" thread tomorrow and respond. Later, Tom
  18. Hi Gene, It seems far more reasonable to me that if Jerry Belknap was in any way intentionally involved in the events of the 22nd, that he was part of a team attempting to prevent the assassination by diverting the motorcade away from the TSBD. You took part in this thread several years ago: The Epileptic Seizure. http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=11705&hl=%20jerry%20%20belknap&page=4 Have you learned anything new? Tom
  19. Thanks James - I just measured my kneeling height at 50 inches. This would put me 34 inches below an 84-inch door - a lot more than 2 feet. If we take the door height to be 84 inches, a 5 foot 9 person should be 15 inches from the top of the door. The rise on those steps has to be pretty close to 7 inches, so a 5 foot 9 person standing on the last step should be about 22 inches from the top of the door. 29 inches if on the next to the last step. Being on one of the steps would bring PM closer to what I assume is a Coke bottle your red line points to. Tom
  20. "As you can see there is something not too far from where PM is positioned." I'm a little dense, James, I don't understand.
  21. I see. And the radiator inside is at about the level of PMs elbow. Believe it or not, I have a standard size radiator here at my house, I am 5 foot 10, and when I get down on my knees, the radiator is level with my elbow.
