Bill, Do not take snippets out of my personal message to you out of context here. I made a general statement regarding debating and expressing personal views to you, and this comment of mine had nothing to do with David Healy in particular.

I imagine the Forum software would need to be replaced or at the least upgraded somehow to allow for better searches. The moderators are here to ensure that members post according to the Forum's rules. Administrators are the "owners" of the Forum. They may have better abilities to change the Forum's software. Last night I saw a documentary on the Discovery (Science?) Channel. This documentary made me think of the issues at hand in this topic, as it seems to be spot on with what Tony Frank has been saying. This documentary dealt with "mole hunter" James J. Angleton (and his failure to expose any large scale KGB infiltraion of the CIA). Also this documentary dealt largely with the fact that there were, in fact, infiltrators in the CIA (mainly one was covered) and on the other hand there were several moles working for the US in Russia. Many (or all) of those working for the US were eventually exposed and killed/deported due to the actions of Aldrich Ames. He is imprisoned for the rest of his life for selling top secret information to the Soviet's and to Russia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldrich_Ames I wonder if Tony Frank is covering this issue in his book?

Dear Mr. Plumlee, Thank you for your reply and clarification. This Forum (JFK section alone) contains over 80,000 individual posts. Most of these (I guess about 60,000) were posted before moderators were appointed to the Forum. Moderators were appointed roughly one year ago. It would be a huge undertaking to review all old posts on this Forum. This is why posts, such as the one you posted today (from the year 2005), have not been edited. Sincerely, Antti Hynonen

Tosh is not on permanent moderation. I have not threatened to request that he be placed under moderation. As far as I know this is not the issue. As moderators, we have to edit posts which contain bad language, ok, at times we miss a few posts and would appreciate members pointing those posst out to us, via reporting them. On a different note. If there are posts which a memebr deems hurtful, mean or otherwise inappropriate, please report such posts. I have had two reports from Tosh. Both for the same post - and yes, they were reports for his own post. I pointed out earlier, that he may edit his own posts. Members are under control (normally) of what is posted under their individual membership accounts. I.e. no need to report ones' own posts. Me too.

This thread has resulted in numerous reports. It is apparent that many of the members participating in this thread have a hard time focusing on discussing the issue at hand, and resort in personal insults instead. If this continues it is likely that this thread will be locked. If the problem persists after that on other threads, other, more direct moderation measures will be taken.

I have been a bit confused by the known David Sanchez Moralez photos. Some show a man of average (or below) in height, average build, some seem to show a different man. Also his description was something like 6'5", muscular dark skinned, indian looking. Now, the man filmed at the Ambassador hotel (RFK) is clearly taller than 6' (judging from the folks around him) somewhat indian looking, dark complected, muscular or "big". He is identified as David Sanchez Morales by two people he used to work with. The only logical reasoning can be that these two descriptions of David Sanchez Morales are those of 2 different people. I wonder why the people interviewed in Shane's film were not shown and asked to comment on the other photos of David Sanchez Morales (showing a shorter, older man). Did both work for the CIA? In Shane's film the other CIA suspects are examined as well. An explanation is given that there was a convention of sales people at the Hotel (for the Bulova watch company). Some of these persons are named and their photos are shown. Their known photos do not match at all (IMO) those of the suspicious men filmed at the Ambassador.

Philip, I believe this was looked into by someone from the Dealey Plaza UK group (his name escapes me). He concluded (as I recall) that the timing of the release of the information in New Zealand did not differ from the US timing.

Who was in the follow-up car (QM) in the back seats? Was Dave Powers there?

Just to add something that may be obvious, but I want to say it. That James Files drawing (the one with some of the fence showing, the tree, roadsign etc.) is drawn from a photograph. It just has too much accurate detail to be drawn from memory. No doubt about it.

The Walker incident is an interesting case. Mainly because Lee Oswalds name has been brought up as the possible assailant. Personally, I think it is possible that Lee did the shooting. If this is true, most interesting would be to find out who the others were, that were spotted at the scene, fleeing (with Lee Oswald?) in the two cars leaving the site. I am willing to bet that their names have already been discussed in this case.

Peter, You need a multiregion DVD player to play e.g. US DVD's (region 1) on a european DVD player (region 2 encoding). Multiregion "hacks" are readily available for some/many DVD players, usually available on the internet via a google search. The "hack" encompasses usually one of the following procedures: * A series of codes to be pressed via the remote control the unit. Tried this, ok. * the downloading of a software and the "burning" of it onto a CD-rom or DVD-R. Then reading the disc in the player of course. Tried this, ok. * a more complex hack is where you are actually required to perform some welding and removing/adding of circuits from inside the player (too complicated for me). I hacked all my players to play all area codes. In fact I recently ordered this dvd from the US through amazon.com and should receive the DVD within a week or so. Antti

Apparently your message above is primarily about your concern that the previous posts were on the Plumlee thread and that it was being disrupted due to this. Fair enough. I have moved them to the moderation section of the Forum. With regards to nothing being done, I respectfully disagree. I tried sending you some PM's as a response to the action I have taken based on your numerous reports, however, your inbox was too full. Sorry. I don't need to analyze any groups of threads or dozens of posts to see what moderation action I ought to undertake, typically I look at one post at a time to determine if it is ok, or if it is in violation of Forum rules.

On another thread I recently made a post asking members not to threaten other members on this Forum. I particularly mentioned the types of threats that were recently visible on this thread. The consequence I said, would be that I'd send a request to John Simkin to have any such members placed on permanent moderation. This request, I have now put forward. I repeat, do not threaten fellow members or anyone else on this Forum.
