I always appreciate in any JFK explanation event presentation the mention of Julia Ann Mercer and her first hand, 11,22,1963 mid-morning Dealey Plaza, stuck in traffic encounter observation story. Everything about it rings honest and intriguingly important imo. Reading her same day and 3 day later FBI and Sheriff Department affidavits ( official documents ) you are clearly impressed with her unwavering and detailed account. She tells a suspiciously incongruous story that begs rational scrutiny considering it's location, activity and timing. Her personal character integrity seemed to be unimpeachable. She definitely did not seek further attention after her initial same day and three day later interrogations. And to add even more rational suspicion weight to Ms. Mercer's story, she is on record as telling Jim Garrison that the signature on at least one of the supposed official affidavits is not hers and there was no notary present when she was being questioned.

One lesson I have learned from many past presidential election polls is to consider them with great caution. From months out right up to election day. Reagan's successful "October Surprise" negotiated release of the Iranian hostages ( versus Carter's pathetic "unsuccessful" equipment breakdown rescue operation effort in the desert ) combined with a huge nationwide Wag The Dog - "Reagan As Hero" worshipping propaganda campaign with incessant day and night playing of the sentimental song "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree" and millions of yellow ribbons actually being tied around trees definitely effected the polls in Reagan's favor in 1980. The election results of 2,000 ( the federal Supreme Court shut down the Florida vote count ) and 2004 ( remember the exit polls in Ohio? ) and especially 2016 definitely defied many of the polls. The first few days of October has "already" produced political surprises beyond anyone's imagination and with this super aggressive president and his super wealthy and powerful backers I guarantee we will see more. With that said, I also heard the day after the debate Trump brag that "he won" that debate. And Mike Huckabee on his TV show agreed and explained why. They both trashed moderator Chris Wallace. Saying he shamelessly favored Joe Biden. Even though we know these claims heard by the entire nation are the opposite of reality, polls show tens of millions actually and cultishly accept them as truth. This reported 14 point poll Biden lead sounds great to the Democrats in a sane and rational citizenry world, but reality is our national state world right now is anything but sane and rational. Polls in a warped irrational mind set of millions of Americans like that can change instantly and hugely on a contrived October Surprise event dime ... imo.

I see. Fair enough. Does your story dismissal also include the claim that Phillips and his brother did indeed have a very strained relationship? Not trying to distract from the thread with my Phillips questions, just curious about the story as it did make it to some published venue obviously. And if it isn't even more frivolous ( if so, just ignore this question ) what about Phillip's similar occupation counterpart E. Howard Hunt's end of life recorded claim of LBJ/Cord Meyer involvement in the "Big Event" with Hunt refusing an offer to be more involved than simply a "Bench Warmer" role? And Hunt's similar denial of being in Dallas himself on 11,22,1963? Your common sense logic regards Phillips not wanting to be in Dallas for reasons of implication should also apply to Hunt, yes? Yet, after some fair amount of under oath litigation scrutiny ( documented ) in his lawsuit against Mark Lane ( won but later tossed ) Hunt's claim of being back at home in Virginia with his wife and kids on 11,22,1963 seemed very weak with even two of his children disputing their father's claim of being there. I guess my take is that in their career field ( Phillips and Hunt) lying about so many things is a trained, accepted and expected part of their trade craft. A patriotic duty. So, wouldn't common sense tell you to question everything they say and claim, even under oath?

I really think my assessment is true. After watching Ruby get to Oswald under those improbable security circumstances millions of Americans felt just like Richard C. Dodd. Before Ruby's hit on Oswald on live TV, I am certain the massive majority of Americans weren't feeling deep suspicion as much as curious shock. Ruby changed all that.

Just viewed Trump's televised message to the people from Walter Reed hospital. In an earlier post I stated that Trump could not take being in lockdown quarantine due to his extreme Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. Especially in the small room White House which he hates. I laughed when Trump actually verified my assessment in spades in his talk. He admitted he could not stay locked down like millions of others that have been diagnosed with the virus have had to endure. He has to have lots of people all around and be fussed over constantly. He has to talk ... and talk ... and talk... and be the center of attention with a live audience. If he can't talk he has to tweet and tweet and tweet. He has to move his body, his hands, his head, make faces. Classic adult ADD. And my guess is his wife was relieved to have peace and quiet in her lockdown - alone. Listen to Trump's Walter Reed talk. Especially the part where he says he could never stay by himself in the White House. It's like a Saturday Night Live skit, imo. Also, without his orange sun tan makeup he looks extremely pale. I also heard this Trump covid infection diagnosis time frame of Wednesday morning. Of course, if this is true then Trump "knowingly" traveled and participated in no mask social contact with others after learning that he tested positive. If it can be proven that Trump did this and that any of the people he came in contact with have tested positive soon after, what do we make of his willingness to put others in danger? And we also caught the Walter Reed head doctor avoid answering the question of whether Trump had been on oxygen at any time...versus "currently." Same old stuff.

Any thoughts about the credibility of the story of David Phillip's death bed confession made to his estranged brother stating he ( Phillips ) was in Dallas on 11,22,1963?

Doug, it's a shame so few Americans are even aware of commentary like the above, let alone read them. Same with the excellent documentaries on Trump/Guiliani ( which have made it to non main stream television ) and their associations with unsavory characters in their business careers and even personal lives. What this women is revealing is the much greater power and influence organized crime has had and still possesses in our nation, well beyond anything the average citizen can even imagine. And, how the Trump family and Guiliani have been connected to them for decades.

Also, the mask downplaying is over. The entire nation now gets the true and responsible message ... mask use is effective and imperative. Trump alone will always own that costly wrong message mistake more than anyone. For months I kept saying it was strange Trump never got the covid yet attended countless no mask, no distancing events. That indoor rally in Tulsa, the church in Arizona, and many, many more. Well, it was all a high risk game. And now he has lost. Wonder if he himself was a spreader this last week.

Ha! I mentioned I couldn't help having a "kernel" of doubt regards this covid situation being true. But now, that kernel is not my belief. If Trump gets seriously ill, all I can say is things are getting crazier and crazier. Up until 8 months ago, no one could have thought that things are the way they are in our world right now.

A little harder to feel anymore sympathy to a man than the sympathy he himself has shown for the 207,000 Americans who have died from the virus, many of them torturously, and the millions who have gotten the virus with many of them suffering horribly as well, not just physically but psychologically and financially. I just don't sense or believe that Trump has ever sincerely cared that much about the millions of Covid victims before him. Trump has always come across as someone who just doesn't have that kind of inner feeling make up and empathy for others. However, if he actually is afflicted, like everyone else who contracts this, hope he doesn't suffer. And after hearing Trump in the debate just 3 nights ago callously "belittle and make fun of" Joe Biden for wearing masks during the crisis, including the size of Biden's mask; Sorry, but there is a thing called kharma?
