  1. Yes. How many different police agencies do we have right now? Employing millions.
  2. Wonder who chooses these questions and has the final say as to which ones to insert into the application?
  3. Absolutely. You don't leave the city you are manager of for a pleasure trip one day after the most shocking criminally violent, world changing event has just happened in it. Our entire military went to high alert for some time starting 11,22,1963. Dallas's entire political and law enforcement structure would have been in a similar state of emergency reaction. Come on Hon, get the kids and pack the snacks ... we're goin' to the lake. Uh...really?
  4. I just heard on KCBS radio out of San Francisco that our auto industry will have a massive drop in sales and production. However, GM alone has 3.5 billion in cash immediately available and could garner another 12 to 15 billion if things go completely South. If martial law is declared I could see the government even shutting down all banks to prevent runs on them. I think the biggest fear outside of outright dying a torturous lung destroying suffocating death ( for my age group anyway ) is what this thread is discussing regards our nation becoming a military rule state.
  5. Watching this video over and over I am amazed at how close Ruby is to and absolutely right behind his police officer buddy big William "Blackie" Harrison even before Oswald appears into the basement walkway and then while Oswald approaches him. I mean Ruby is mere inches behind the hulking Harrison. Close enough to bump shoulders. There is no one up against Harrison's body like that except Ruby. And it's also sickening to see Oswald's guard team leading Oswald to a mere two to three feet from the press crowd. They could reach out and touch Oswald as he comes by. Reporter Ike Pappas is so close like this. No security conscious room between them at all. It's one thing to give the press crowd some room to see and film Oswald. It's another to allow them to get so close to him they could hit him over the head with their microphones if they had wanted to. Crazy crowd control logistics to the point of suspicion. Ruby has the perfect position to burst forth and immediately get within a foot or even inches in front of Oswald. Being right behind and then even with Harrison, Ruby only has to take two to three short steps to cover that distance. And lightly guarded Oswald was a wide open sitting duck target. Notice both Leavelle and Oswald's other guard/escort L.C. Graves are looking away from Ruby at the rolling down car on the ramp at the exact moment Ruby pounces. As Ruby moves in they do see and look at him, but their initial visual distraction just before gave Ruby an extra split second advantage to get so close into Oswald's gut imo. The whole scene as depicted in the video above screams an unbelievably worst case plan of security for Oswald in that crowded flash bulb blinding, too close and rushing in press packed basement. I remember feeling outrage when I saw the shooting live on TV. I was only 12. But even at that young age I could see the shoddiness of Oswald's security with only two escort guards walking along his side and practically pushing Oswald slightly in front of them versus behind them. Check again Ruby literally butting up against his Dallas policeman buddy William Harrison to get into the perfect close up position to get to Oswald in his splint second burst.
  6. Just curious as I haven't heard about this area of transportation. For the poorest Americans ( including students ) who travel by Greyhound bus or maybe trains, have these two modes been shut down completely? How the heck does anyone having to get somewhere farther away than city buses can take you get there? These bus/train people aren't traveling for pleasure. The huge majority are trying to get home or to a location they must be or perhaps feel safer being at.
  7. Yeah, the Chief himself is right on top of the transfer security situation at the most crucial time? Right. If the personal security of the most important and threatened criminal suspect in the history of the United States isn't the highest priority of Curry's entire career the weekend of the 11,22 thru 11,24, 1963, what would be? This transfer operation put Oswald into "the most vulnerable security situation" of his entire custody time in the DPD jail. Nice time for the top responsibility DPD official to be chatting on the phone with Mayor Cabell. So how does Curry prepare for and handle this most vulnerable security time transfer challenge? He allows the Oswald transfer time and location to be publicly announced. He orders it done in the busy late morning daytime instead of quietly at night. Crowds lined the street just outside of the transfer location. Curry allows dozens of frantic press people with glaring lights and flashbulbs into the narrow basement area and to get within feet of Oswald which allowed Jack Ruby a perfect up close hiding place right behind the hulking Police Officer friend of his ...William "Blackie" Harrison. He allows the clearly too old, slow and lost looking Will Fritz to walk lead in escorting Oswald down to the basement and to the waiting transport vehicle and the blinding light press crowd where Fritz then kind of aimlessly wanders off to the side while supervising everything I guess. He has Oswald wide open with just two bodyguards at his side at the most crucial press crowd closeness time versus surrounding him with a cordon of officers to the waiting car. The police right next to the shooting are close enough acquaintances to Jack Ruby that they know him well. Patrick Dean, Blackie Harrison, even Jim Leavelle. We know Dean's and Leavelle's position on the race issue which probably meant they hated the n****r lovin' JFK. Curry should have been fired for his Oswald security negligence which resulted in the greatest loss of public trust in our government in the last part of the 20th century and that is still present 57 years later.
  8. Debated posting this under some other thread but none fit. It's just a light tidbit, but it is JFK related. My wife started her Social Security account online today. On the application they ask you to choose a secure password answer from a choice of questions. Typical questions: First Car... Model And Color? City You Met Your Spouse? Worst Food Growing Up? Yeah I know...crazy. Etc. But my wife had to tell me this one in particular: Where Were You The Day JFK Was Killed? Well, it makes sense I guess since so many people taking their Social Security now are of the baby boomer generation and were adolescents on 11,22,1963. And I like that at least one massive government venue is keeping the JFK event in the public consciousness, even in a small way.
  9. Trump's stock market is now almost 800 points lower than what was left to him by Obama. Which for 3 and 1/2 years Trump derogatorily used against Obama as a standard of uninspired and incompetent economic leadership. His incessant almost manic public bragging about outshining Obama in this way is now history. Obviously he will try to find some new area of psuedo achievement to over-hype from now to the election.
  10. Remember Martha Stewart. What has always turned my stomach about Stewart's insider trading crime (which she actually did time for ) was how she was willing to do this to save a measley $250,000, when her overall wealth was already close to 1 BILLION dollars. Too many wealthy are like this. They'll spend their time arguing down the price of a street vendor's bananas and then gloat about getting these 10 cents cheaper by doing so. In my mind this is a mental illness. A 24/7 lifetime obsession with getting over on others in financial doings no matter how small the gain. Obsessive greed. So deeply embedded and powerful in their mental and moral make up that they are willing to break laws to feed it. Even for chump change amounts. Martha quits as NYSE director Martha Stewart resigns from exchange's board after just 4 months amid insider trading allegations. October 3, 2002: 5:42 PM EDT NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Martha Stewart, under investigation for possible securities law violations, resigned from the New York Stock Exchange board of directors Thursday just four months after being appointed. NYSE Chairman and CEO Dick Grasso announced Stewart's resignation during a news conference Thursday. Grasso said Stewart resigned voluntarily and that she was not asked to leave. She turned in her resignation just before Thursday's NYSE board meeting and did not attend the meeting. Richard Grasso, chairman and CEO of the New York Stock Exchange, comments on Martha Stewart's resignation from the NYSE board of directors. Play video (QuickTime, Real or Windows Media) "We are saddened to lose Martha Stewart, who has built a brand and a company admired around the world," Grasso said in a statement. "Our board will miss Ms. Stewart's counsel and insight, and expressed its deep gratitude for her service." The government is investigating whether Stewart had inside information when she sold her ImClone Systems Inc. stock just before its price plummeted. "It was an honor and a privilege to serve on the NYSE board, and I appreciate Mr. Grasso's gracious expression of gratitude for my work," Stewart said in a statement late Thursday. "I did not want the media attention currently surrounding me to distract from the important work of the NYSE, and thus I felt it was appropriate to resign." Stewart was nominated for the board seat March 22 and appointed in June. Her term was to expire in 2003, according to the NYSE Web site. She served on the Finance and Audit Committee. Separately, Grasso said Thursday that Citigroup Inc.'s Michael Carpenter also resigned from the NYSE board. Carpenter's resignation last month as head of the Salomon Smith Barney unit made him ineligible to serve on the NYSE board. Carpenter's term was set to expire in 2003, according to the NYSE Web site. Stewart's resignation comes a day after her broker's assistant at Merrill Lynch accepted a plea deal in which he has agreed to testify against her and her broker about the alleged insider trading, a development with the potential to blow a major hole in the home fashion guru's defense. The assistant, 26-year-old Douglas Faneuil, pleaded guilty in U.S. Magistrate Court in New York Wednesday to taking bribes, including a plane ticket, extra pay and an extra week's vacation in exchange for his silence about the alleged trading. Prosecutors are trying to prove that Stewart's broker, Peter Bacanovic, tipped her off last December that Samuel Waksal, a personal friend, was trying to sell his shares in biotech firm ImClone Systems Inc. (IMCL: up $0.04 to $7.25, Research, Estimates), which he founded. Stewart sold about 4,000 of her own shares in the company on the same day, according to documents she submitted to congressional investigators. Waksal, who was indicted last month, pleaded not guilty to charges he tipped off family members that the Food and Drug Administration was about to reject ImClone's application for its cancer drug, Erbitux. Stewart has not been charged and repeatedly has denied any wrongdoing. She has said that she and Bacanovic had an agreement by which he would sell her ImClone shares if the price dipped below $60.
  11. Trump's stock market drops below 20,000. Drops below what Obama left Trump. We are trying to unload. Takes a few days. We have lost over 25% of what we had just 1 month ago! Advisor/broker won't return our calls. What a nightmare. What a GD nightmare. To not blame Trump for any of this is ludicrous and hypocritical to the max. The entire last 3 and 1/2 years have been one big anxiety creating conflict, controversy and personally attacking or overly bragging circus on an almost daily basis! If this national angst was happening under Obama, the 1% repubs and their massive media propaganda machine would be pounding Obama 24/7 as the worst president in our history. Putting a one track money mad mind set egomaniac in our highest elective office is the biggest mistake we could have made. And we are all suffering to unimaginable degrees because of it.
  12. A "one time" $1,000 check? Ridiculous. Not even enough to get a small family by for one month. They should be sending these checks until the crisis is under control enough that 80% of lost job people are back to full time work and their kids are back in school. And Trump & Mnuchin are trumpeting this as if it is "their " money and they are being so generous and caring of job loss victims to do this. Hey! It's "OUR" money...not yours! You are darn right it should come back to us in a situation as dire as this. If you didn't do something like this we would be kicking you out of office!
  13. Hillary Clinton won the 2016 presidential election! By a substantial 3.2 million plurality winning vote! She was prevented from assuming the office only because of an illogically calculated representative configuration and corruptible electoral college system where 50,000 votes for Trump negated 3,200,000 victory winning votes in favor of Hillary. That's a democratic principle and process shame. Michigan was lost because of what...a 10,000 vote difference? Voter fraud was highly suspected in the Detroit district where some have claimed up to 75,000 votes went missing. Trump's 2016 presidential election victory was fraudulent imo. Even with Hillary's bus load of tainted baggage the American voters still chose her to be our President over Trump by a significant 3.2 million margin. The U.S. Supreme Court hijacked the 2,000 presidential election from the American people and the corrupted Electoral College hijacked the 2016 one from them as well.
  14. Just read the msn link article. The reality of what is happening in such a short and unexpected time period to not just hundreds of thousands of the writer's fellow job losers, but millions more nation wide, is so unprecedented in our lifetimes, I don't think our brains are fully processing the true impact of it all yet. Like our frame of reference in evaluating such a massive and sudden life changing event isn't there. War time social orders for 7 to 8 million San Francisco Bay Area residents to leave their jobs, remain in their homes and restrict their daily travel to only essential activities? All in just one day? 10 million kids sent home from school with no clear date of return? What are laid off parents including single parents to do with that situation? Millions live in apartments that are not that roomy and with no private yard for their children to play in to get exercise and fresh air? There is a shocked numbness everywhere. The panic and anxiety of not being able to pay your rent with fear of eviction is immediate and right in front of these now unemployed people and families. Yet, they don't know who to call out to or what to say. Reminds me of the Titanic. 2 thousand people on board with everything fine and calm one minute, and the next ... they are facing life and death circumstances! Right around us here on the Central California Coast the same thing is happening to our tourist, hospitality and personal service industry workers as those in the New York City area mentioned in the article. Our daughter has worked full time for years in one of the most busy restaurants in the entire area. Overnight, she has been sent home most of the last week and was told she may be let go very soon. She is stunned! She has the same basic need bills everyone else has. The unemployment department internet site will not be able to handle millions of applicants in just a few days time one would imagine. The response from the federal government to these people's immediate shelter and bill paying lost income needs is just not there. Like the Titanic realizing they didn't have enough life boats when they started sinking...and basically telling everyone to make it on their own as best they could! ??? Dear God! My wife and I are "self sheltering" as much as possible due to our ages and in my case, multiple immune compromising health issues. She is still working but expects a stay at home order any day or hour. I am in fear, yet I have to remind myself of this as the threat is an invisible-to-the-naked-eye thing that can hit and seriously harm you without noise and violence. This isn't a tornado, hurricane, earthquake, volcano, fire, flooding, tsunami, nuclear power plant meltdown, invading criminal gangs or even some military attacking us. Something you can see and immediately grasp why it is threatening your life. It's an invisible microbial alien force - strange and scary - that is trying to kill human beings, especially older ones. A full blown crisis situation with huge consequential events that are totally effecting and changing our daily life existence to an almost Martial Law level degree and that are coming upon us "by the hour" it seems! It really is now a living Sci-Fi scary movie, almost apocalyptic in it's incredibly quick and massive world wide impact of social order and survival change with accompanying fear, unsureness and uneasiness. Well, the feds and even our states have simply got to begin instantly helping our now unemployed millions of Americans with "direct in their hands" financial assistance aid. Checks right now! And an emergency order to all landlords suspending evictions for unpaid rent. It's all just so unreal. Every American greatly effected stressfully ... almost overnight! Trump's people seem so clueless and even kind of frozen. Not adequately understanding yet how instantly desperate and in need tens of millions of Americans truly are. One Republican seems to get it. Mitt Romney is yelling...HEY, THE SHIP IS SINKING! Get some life boats ( emergency cash funds ) to the ship passengers ...RIGHT NOW! While the ship's Captain Queeg seems more focused on who to blame and calling certain lower ranking ship officers ( governors-democratic party officials ) "snakes" ..." fake news" spreaders..etc. It's madness I tell ya!
  15. One good thing about the crisis. There won't be anymore of those silly, fascist toned Trump rallies and we will save millions on Trump reduced travel and security costs.
  16. Huge difference between JFK sexual behavior towards women and Trump's. I'll bet that JFK never forced himself upon any woman. Unwanted kissing, groping, etc. Or said suggestive comments to them that made them feel extremely uncomfortable. It seems every women JFK bedded wanted this kind of relationship. Mimi Alford could be one of the few exceptions true. If she told the truth in her memoirs and JFK suggested she give Dave Powers a XXXXXXX in the White House pool, and she was just passed legal consent age...that was very wrong. But Trump has a history of aggressive forcefulness toward women. He admitted and even bragged about this type of behavior towards women to Billy Bush and which was caught on tape that was played over and over to the entire nation.
  17. Lunacy is an American voter supposedly morally guided by and deeply respectful of Christian religious principles supporting someone to lead them who is the opposite, especially when they have a clear choice to support others who are much less so. Robert W. My postings regards Trump are lunacy to you? One man's lunacy is another's enlightenment if you ask me. I was just as expressive about Nixon and his entire support structure being full blown law breaking crooks way before Watergate took hold. Nixon defenders were just as deriding of me as you are here regards Trump. After all the law breaking Watergate evidence finally came to light 25 members of Nixon's crew ...went to prison! 25! His top appointees and advisers! Nixon himself went off the rails talking to portraits in the White House. Kissinger had to keep him from further deterioration by falsely building him up. He was barely kept out of the big house only because of his buddies back room deals with the real power brokers. My Nixon defending critics ( you're a lunatic ) just disappeared. Went into hiding I guess. Everything I suggested about the corruptness of Nixon was proven true in spades. I'll guess that if Trump is ever somehow brought down in a spectacular fireworks show of extensive criminal doing discovery, you and your personal insult charge against me will go the same route as Nixon's defenders back in the 70's. You know Trump is as bad and flawed and unqualified as I frequently mention. You really do. Maybe you should put me on your blocked list if my postings upset you so much. I only post on Trump under this thread. I do not mention him otherwise. If this thread leaves or our moderators set stricter parameters regards it content, I will gladly abide by them with no complaints. And lastly, Trump himself has publicly stated he likes to create conflict. He likes to rile people up. I am a product of his twisted sadistic design.
  18. Latest poll: 60% of American Catholics support Donald Trump. Sorry, just had to post this latest nationally reported poll result as the Catholic majority political sentiment and stance in this country for many years has driven me to head shaking frustration and angst. And has done so ever since their first incongruous overtly public support of ultra right wing, highest wealth class promoting Ronald Reagan over the working and poorer class defending Democrats back in 1980. First, I must say ... you'd think the Catholic church and their members would pull back from public political endorsement proclamations of any type, let alone highly controversial ones and similarly highly divisive social issues as well, ever since their moral judgement credibility standing world wide has been devastated the last 30 years upon the revealing of their massive child sex abuse scandal. Which was found to be so endemic as to be institutionalized. Millions of children world wide over many generations have now come forward to say they were sexually abused by Catholic priests. And throw in a massive higher church hierarchy compliancy cover up campaign "on top" of this huge number victim devastating humanitarian crime! To read or hear about any Catholic church and doctrine adherent making political endorsements and morality judgement calls and stating them publicly after their own house and reputation has been absolutely wrecked with massive world wide morality failings is beyond hypocritical to a shameless degree. They no longer have high integrity standing. The gall! So now, again, the majority of American Catholics publicly support Donald Trump over any progressive, working class and poorer advocating Democratic candidate? Donald Trump. The embodiment of Christ like qualities? The defender and advocate of the rich over the poor? The life long sexual predator who makes unwanted comments to or advances on women and even brags about grabbing women's pu$$ys and getting away with this? The marriage vow offender over years? And then who denies every affair and calls everyone of his accusers who claim them XXXXX? Every one? A man who is obsessed with money and takes every loop hole or coerced advantage no matter how unethical or unfair to endlessly gain more? And who is even willing to deal with criminal elements in this endeavor? A man who is obsessed with getting back at those who he feels have wronged him or criticized him? And who never mentions or exhibits the Christ espoused teaching example of forgiveness? A man who feels being tough and aggressively attacking his competitors ( often insultingly ) commands respect more than those who choose calm and kinder toned reasoning and respect in this realm ... whimps ? I am not an expert on Catholic church doctrine. All I know from my lifetime experiences with Catholic religion members over 68 years is a general sense that their whole value system is based on the deeds and words of the human looking god entity they call Christ. The defender of the poor, weak and defenseless over the "eye of the needle" rich. The savior who tossed the "money changers" out of the church square. Please, Trump supporting Catholics .... Please explain to me/us non-Catholics what it is about a man like Trump that you find more Christ like and worthy of being our nation's leader over others less money obsessed, wealthiest class promoting and personally attacking of others and morally corrupted regards marriage vows and forever lying about these matters? And please don't say it's all about Trump being a true believer and sincere defender of anti-abortion policies. With Trump's untold number of sexual affairs outside of marriage, you think he ever hesitated going all the way ( assuming he didn't always wear a condom and could perhaps impregnate his partner ) because of his anti-abortion moral beliefs? I don't know if American Catholics defer to the ten commandments in formulating their morality beliefs and choosing one presidential candidate over another. But if they do, I wonder which ones of them justifies placing Donald Trump higher on their Christian value qualification scale than any Democrat. From a "Catholic Faith" website: What Does Each Command & Forbid? 1. I AM THE LORD THY GOD: THOU SHALT NOT HAVE STRANGE GODS BEFORE ME. COMMANDS: faith, hope, love, and worship of God; reverence for holy things; prayer. Not money over everything else. 2. THOU SHALL NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD IN VAIN. COMMANDS: reverence in speaking about God and holy things; the keeping of oaths and vows. FORBIDS: blasphemy; the irreverent use of God's name; speaking disrespectfully of holy things; false oaths and .................. the breaking of vows. 3. KEEP THE SABBATH HOLY. COMMANDS: going to church on Sundays and holy days of obligation. FORBIDS: missing church through one's own fault; unnecessary servile work on Sunday and holy days of obligation. Golfing and business deal making too. 4. HONOR THY FATHER AND THY MOTHER. Trump does idolize his father. But no more than Biden and Sanders. 5. THOU SHALT NOT KILL. COMMANDS: safeguarding of one's own life and bodily welfare and that of others. FORBIDS: unjust killing; suicide; abortion; sterilization; dueling; endangering life and limb of self or others. So quit having unprotected sex! And comparing whistle blowers to traitors and publicly reminding the entire nation what we do to traitors. 6. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY. COMMANDS: chastity in word and deed. FORBIDS: obscene speech; impure actions alone or with others. Oh God! What a cringing laugh regards Trump on this one. 7. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL. COMMANDS: respect for the property of rights and others; the paying of just debts; paying just wages to employees; integrity in public office. HA! FORBIDS: not paying just debts ( does this include abusing bankruptcy laws? ) giving unjust measure or weight in selling; not paying just wages; bribery; graft; cheating; fraud ... 8. THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHBOR. COMMANDS: truthfulness; respect for the good name of others ( HA! ) .... the observance of secrecy when required. ? How about overdoing this? FORBIDS: lying; injury to the good name of others; slander; tale bearing; rash judgment; contemptuous speech and the violation of secrecy. 5 negative stars for Trump here. 9. THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOR'S WIFE. COMMANDS: purity in thought. FORBIDS: wilful impure thought and desires. Trump has bragged about trying to seduce married women! 10. THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOR'S GOODS. COMMANDS: respect for the rights of others. FORBIDS: the desire to take, to keep, or damage the property of others. Crush the competition in business dealings apply? Seems obvious Trump's ten commandment report card is almost all D's and F's. I'm sure any Democratic presidential candidate would pull mostly B's at least. So, Trump supporting American Catholics, can you explain your reasons for doing so beyond this most revered doctrine of right and wrong?
  19. This quote above says it all. Yet, Trump defenders still refuse to allow themselves to see and face these truths. Even when it is right in front of their eyes. Loyalty to Trump and his Republican representative enablers means choosing to believe in a false reality world of Trump's creation and promotion. A world where there is no self assessment, no taking of personal responsibility and blame even and especially when their actions create harm, loss or stress to tens of millions of Americans. Even if these bad result actions of Trump harms and stresses those they profess to love and care about. The fact that half this country has chosen to live in this Trump Pollyanna false reality world for 3 and 1/2 years and still idolizes a man of his worst moral value character traits says to me that half this country is clearly suffering from a true reality escaping mental illness or they have been seriously and successfully brainwashed. Either scenario is equally troubling on every level. With the unprecedented crisis now in our daily life midst we need a reasonably mature, intelligent, U.S. Constitution respecting, principled and less pathologically egocentric and more mentally healthy leader more than ever.
  20. It's not unreasonable to consider now (even at this early stage of virus infection and it's entire life and economic social impact ) that we may be on the cusp of a martial law situation. As millions of Americans become more and more stressed and - God forbid - to basic need survival levels ( especially the lowest income ones ) it isn't hard to imagine them eventually taking to the streets if this happens, especially if they can't feed their children or other loved ones and are perhaps denied equal hospital and medical care if they become ill for any reason or cause. The spectre of national guard/military involvement, travel bans, forced lockdowns, rationing, "quarantine" camps, and most ominous: curfews, extreme punitive action for looting, suspension of some personal rights, etc, etc, ... isn't now just an overly paranoid impossibility, especially if 100 million Americans get infected and 1 to 2 million are in the death range. When the staffs at every hospital, rest and retirement homes, doctors and medical clinic offices, schools, jails and prisons are over burdened and also susceptible to being reduced ( many would have to stay home to care for their out of school children or ill older family members ) the challenge in keeping these institutions running safely is even more paramount. Just at this very beginning state of viral infection and control protocols our personal, civil and economic situation in our own local area of California alone is unprecedented to an alarming and hard to believe impacting degree that we have never seen except in short term cases like the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989. All our schools are shut down including class room attendance requirement in our local colleges. Our city owned swim and fitness center and public library is closed, as is our world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. Senior centers have closed down. Theaters are restricting their hours and probably shutting down. Most restaurants ( we have hundreds and hundreds ) are seeing such a huge drop in customers they are cutting hours or even laying off thousands of employees. Same with our 10,000 + room hotel and motel business sector. Our convalescent homes are restricting or even stopping visitors. Our hospitals are changing protocols almost daily. They have pitched tents outside for triage of possible virus infected patients. Banks are seeing most of their customers avoiding inside lines and using outside ATM machines instead. Thousands are panic buying at our grocery and department stores. But, imo the most dangerous impact is lost wages and unemployed people and especially those with children now at home ( including pre-school ) versus the structure and free lunches at school. If millions of Americans are thrust into this extreme basic survival need stress in the next few months, we'd better start sending them financial help ( directly into "their" hands ) to seriously help them versus Wall Street Banking interests as Trump seems most concerned about versus them. And every government level should be all in with this same kind of help. City, county, state besides the Federal level.
  21. I've been viewing You Tube video's of American soldier's who were the first liberators of several Nazis death camps just as the War in Europe was ending. These are part of a series created and presented by the USC Shoah Foundation. I thought I knew enough about this part of Hitler's doings to consider myself generally informed on the subject. But after viewing 15 or more of these living testimony interviews of Nazi death camp discovering U.S. soldiers who were now in their old age, I now know how naively uninformed I was about the true horrors perpetrated in them...for years! Horrors beyond comprehension. Horrors that many of these soldiers still can hardly believe even 60 years later. Horrors that made many of them weep in recounting them even after that long of time. Their outrage upon seeing the incomprehensible torture inflicted on the camp prisoners triggered a mad revenge killing wave where even against orders they shot and killed many of the Nazi Guards captured at the camps on the spot. These video taped interviews have imbued me with a hugely more profound and deeply disturbed view of the evils of Hitler and those who carried out his orders beyond anything I had comprehended previously. Of course, we are not close to this type of national evil. And I'm fairly certain it won't ever happen here. However, I AM very disturbed and concerned that our brilliant businessman leader is for sure someone who is uninclined and indifferent to the true history of tragic world events including the horrors of dictators upon their subjects and may even be a fan of the worst of these monsters? And I don't see Ivana Trump making up her story of Trump keeping a book of Hitler speeches on his bedroom shelf. Along with Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power Of Positive Thinking" and the latest issues of Playboy Magazine. JFK's reading interests were a tad more eclectic one would guess.
  22. Corey, your opinion on it's authenticity?
  23. If Trump doesn't have it after shaking hands with several others who do have it, I think we should all be eating MacDonald's food and researching it's immune system enhancement properties. And if Mar-A-Lago gets shut down because some employee test positive...will Trump give himself a stimulus/bailout package like he just gave his Wall Street Banking buddies? In the U.S., of the cases for which there is data, only one person who died was in their 40s, while two people died in their 50s. Seven people were in their 60s, nine people in their 70s, 13 people in their 80s and 10 people were in their 90s.
