The conflicting testimonies are incredibly intriguing and even more so because of their numbers. I hardly ever gave the "two Oswalds" story much thought and consideration but when one reads all the testimonies it is much harder to dismiss. Regards the Carousel Club photo of a possible 2nd Oswald, this fellow looks a bit heftier ( stronger ? ) than the Oswald we all saw on national TV starting 11,22,1963. And his right ear seems to stick out farther and differently than the arrested Oswald. And wasn't Oswald known as a total teetotaler? The Carousel Club Oswald looks like he's knocked back a few beers and has booze stupid eyes as he ogles the stripper on the stage.

Prouty's sure that Lansdale was the man behind the event. And Prouty's connection to Mae Brussels is interesting.

With just the suicide contradicting crime scene facts presented in Ray Mitcham's post alone ( and there are even more ) any argument still promoting Dorothy Kilgallen's death as a suicide is embarrassingly baseless and even childish. As much as the Mafia and anyone else ( Hoover perhaps? ) despised and or feared Kilgallen, the okay to off someone of her huge celebrity status and standing both nationally and even internationally, had to be sanctioned by someone above even them IMO.

I don't recall seeing in print or hearing in interviews, any major JFK researchers taking a firm yes or no stance on the Dealey Plaza 11,22,1963 photo purported to show Ed Lansdale walking by the police escorted "Tramps" which Fletcher Prouty clearly believed was him. If this photo is truly of Landsdale, then wouldn't his presence there in the middle of the crime scene be a powerfully convincing indication as to his major involvement in it's planning and execution? Of course it would. And wasn't this operational aspect of covert action his forte? So who did Lansdale answer to at that time and right after? Was the suspected Lansdale Dealey Plaza photo ever analyzed by credible identification experts? Or has no one ever committed the time and money to that endeavor? My own take ( admittedly totally untrained ) on that well known photo and comparing it to every photo of Lansdale I could find on the internet tells me it is him. Of course I am swayed by Fletcher Prouty's interview take on this and his letter from Victor Krulak's also affirming his belief that the photo does indeed show Lansdale.

Mark, wouldn't this advice be appropriate for a client who may have some reason to fear self-incrimination by revealing a fuller truth testimony as to what they know about a crime or suspects in a crime being investigated or tried? What would justify James Hosty and his attorney or employer choosing to place him into this kind of witness category - an almost adversarial or hostile witness one? What would they possibly consider as dangerously self-incriminating if they told more of what they knew about Lee Harvey Oswald? Weren't members of the FBI supposed to be on the same page as our own government and the Warren Commission as far as searching for the whole truth regarding JFK's assassination on 11,22,1963? When Hosty was asked at some points in his questioning, like almost every other WC witness, if there wasn't something more they knew or wanted to add about the main subjects and other areas of this investigation to help this commission discover the full truth, and he said no...that is purposely and knowingly withholding vital truth revealing information and a violation of the " the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God" oath sworn to by him at the beginning of his testimony. The legal and ethical line between knowingly withholding vital and important truth revealing information and making false statements and outright lying in any criminal investigations is always very thin if not usually indistinguishable. In this case especially.

And that our entire nation wanted, needed and deserved to know the truth of perhaps the greatest crime in our history ( along with Abe Lincoln's murder ) and the only way they could have any chance of knowing this was supposedly through this LBJ appointed commission? Yet Mr. Hosty, you took that entire oath before testifying and you knowingly violated the "whole and nothing but the truth" part of it? And wasn't the traditional "So Help You God" addendum also part of this oath? Being an Irish Catholic, didn't this part of this oath make it even more sacred and honorable to you personally? So, for what reason Mr. Hosty ... what reason could you give for not keeping the "whole truth" part of your oath? And since you admitted purposely withholding important information on Oswald to the highest investigative body in the land with the highest truth seeking purpose, what else did you hold back in this matter? Your credibility ( as well as the WC ) for total truth telling was lost on that day you were interviewed by the Warren Commission and refused to bring up what you fully knew and had on Lee Harvey Oswald before 11,22,1963. And you "dare" to complain in your memoirs that important truth information about Oswald ( regards his alleged Mexico City activities ) was withheld from "you" for many years? And how this offended you? Now you know how your fellow Americans, and especially us JFK truth seekers, feel about you, after you admitted withholding incredibly important Lee Harvey Oswald information from the Warren Commission and the American public, even and especially after you took "an oath" to tell the "whole truth" as you knew it.

I just viewed once again the Dealey Plaza video DVP posted. I am surprised how thought provoking and emotion stirring it still is for me, no matter how many times I watch it. It's quiet lack of narration allows one to better reflect on these thoughts and feelings without distraction. The video re-evokes not just a deep and profound sadness for JFK and his family's personal suffering and loss but our entire society's as well. And also a broader general sadness in the awareness of how murderously corrupt and uncivilized human kind can be toward one another ... both here and all over the world and still in modern times to this day. The whole Dealey Plaza area seems very eerie to me. Like something in a haunting dream. Like a Hitchcock film. Large swaths of green cemetery like grass surrounded by long dreamy white bright walls resembling large crypts and solemn remembrance head stones. The reflecting pool and that old spooky Gothic "Red Museum" looming over it all just adds to this surreal scene. It's like the place was built for the monumentally sad event ahead of time! Strange indeed. The constant loud roaring sound of busy automobile and truck traffic running right through this memorial site is obscenely incongruous however. I am also reminded when seeing the Texas School Book Depository building from perhaps 75 to 100 feet away in this video, how much one can see into the 6th floor sniper's window from that distance. 6 floors up in an older building like the TSBD is not that high above the street. Maybe 65 to 75 feet, which is about as high as our Pine trees grow in my part of the country. This shows me that anyone standing on the street ( Houston Street ) and at the same general distance away from this window could see it closer than I had imagined. It makes Arnold Roland and Carolyn Walther's statements about what they saw in this window minutes before the shooting all the more credible. Ms. Walther's mis-stating the correct height number floor means little to me in that I never get that exact number right either when I am just glancing at multi-storied bldgs. and sometimes even leaving the ground floor out of the count. I also considered that JFK's shooting culprit ( or culprits ) took a big risk in blasting JFK's head into a high caliber exploding mass of brain and skull and blood spray so close to Jackie's own head and body. What an incredible feat of marksmanship that direct bulls-eye hit was on a moving away and moving down hill and moving 10 inch only wide target ( JFK's head was moving around at the time between the 2nd and 3rd shot ) and to miss Jackie's which was mere inches away from her husbands. That's three separate moving target dynamics to calculate into a shooter's aim and firing! I sometimes think that whoever was assigned this hit were instructed to make sure they didn't hit Jackie Kennedy just inches away from their bulls eye. And that took remarkable skill with not one but two shots.

Who is it that is paying people like Clint Hill this kind of money and how are they recouping this expense? I've seen several videos of Hill speaking at venues promoting his books ( where I presume he is paid these amounts ) and the audiences shown don't seem any larger than those of countless JFK CT authors when they are invited to speak about their books. The fees paid to Hill surely can't be covered by the attendance fees charged to the audiences at his appearances. Wonder if Gerald Posner also used to charge and get paid fees for his appearances. Same with Vincent Bugliosi? It's also illogically disturbing to me to see convicted and jailed criminals like G.Gordon Liddy resurrected and gifted later on with gold plated income radio talk show host positions. Oliver North got a sweet book deal and his own TV show! Yes, North's criminal convictions were expunged later on. Who is behind these public image resurrection and high income rewarding deals given to nefarious ( but right wing promoting ) types who were convicted of crimes against our society and our constitution? I think we all know the answer. Yes, towing the government lines ( even if you are a convicted criminal ) pays big time compared to the opposite. And just look at the "right wing" promoting radio talk show propagandists ( versus left wing which I don't think exist anymore ) in the national media. These guys are paid a fortune. Rush Limbaugh makes what...$25,000,000 a year? Just for doing nothing more than sitting on his be-hind 4 hours a day, 5 days a week obsessively ranting and promoting the Right Wing ideology and working up his listener base by angrily demonizing the left. Shawn Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, Mark Levine, Michael Savage...all the same thing. Mind blowing salaries for demonizing liberals and anyone who even keeps an open mind in this realm. That's where the big money is now-a-days. There is a reason that right wing and ultra right wing groups and individuals have been buying up the media the last 30 to 40 years. The huge majority of our national media is NOT owned by individuals of left leaning political sympathies anymore.

I think that if I were a family member of Judyths, I wouldn't join her crusade unless I was absolutely convinced of it's full truth. If that turned her against me..so be it. Damn...maybe I just want to believe her story because it is so romantic.

Ms. Brown, so you acknowledge that JVB's sister or sisters ( is there both a Debbee and a Lynda? ) said in documented interviews that JVB told them of her 1963 affair with Oswald in NO in 1964? But along with this acknowledgement of Judy's sister ( s ) stating on record these affair verification comments you add that "Judyth has a tendency to corrupt anyone who gets involved with her." Judyth's sister has been corrupted by Judyth? And Anna Lewis as well? And Judyth's children who have acknowledged seeing Oswald's reported green bottle gift to her and accidentally discarding a personal note from Oswald to Judyth that was in it? Before Judyth ever went public? Gotta give JVB credit for that talent no matter how detrimental to the JFK truth it may or may not be. But over-all, yes, what an exhausting rabbit hole the JVB story truly has been and still is. I haven't created or contributed any huge commitment research to this forum myself and I agree that those that have deserve much more respect than those of us who haven't. However, hopefully any increase in neophyte postings and questions like mine are not too irritating and in some ways perhaps even help keep older original important threads by the real researchers re-energized for continued acknowledgement, study and debate. I hope so anyway. I read so much here and that includes links to other works by almost every long time real research members. I read yours, Jim D's, Pat Speers, and so many others and like you so often advise ... with an open mind. I couldn't stand up to any of you in a real research debate, but I feel so compelled to join in certain areas with serious, passion for the truth motivated questions despite my lack of research stripes ... partly because I am older and with some health issues and just couldn't stand "standing on the reading only" sidelines any more. KG ... I have never read of anyone personally addressing Ruby by the nickname "Sparky." I "have" read some account ( Warren Commission or somewhere else?) where someone mentioned Ruby getting this nickname in his younger days and how he hated being called this. I appreciate your clarification regards the quote in your earlier post. But to me there is a significant difference in credibility in an actual quote referenced to Oswald by Judyth Baker implying she was "actually introduced" to Ruby with that quoted line from Oswald as it was happening....versus Oswald and Ferry telling Judyth "they wanted to introduce me to another Sparky, also a dog who couldn't control himself" which clearly indicates they said this name "Sparky" to her before she actually met Ruby. To me, JVB's account of this is in the later context is more believable and not totally preposperous versus the first context. And if Oswald had actually said "I want you to meet Sparky Rubenstein" while he was formally introducing him to Judyth, I think Ruby might have instantly punched Oswald in the face. Is there any other country that would benefit more from a Trump presidential victory than Russia? Trump seems to find something bad to say ( or tweet ) about all the rest outside of Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines. Just looking for common sense motive here.

There is one reality that is like a stabilizing bar when the stated views and voices concerning major events and issues get so swirling and loud and confusing they are dizzying. And that is ... to follow the money. The big money. Money is power. It fuels the power ... and it's accompanying control. If you can trace to some decently successful degree where the big money flows before, during and after major political, social and military events, you can more often than not see something more revealingly clear regarding the whos, whys and maybe even hows than through purposely heavy muddied waters. In the case of madly money acquisition obsessed Trump and his decades long Russian connections and his actions and words defending, down playing and even hiding these ( show us your tax returns! ) ... it's so easy to see the obvious. In the case of JFK? Same thing.... Big oil, Mafia, military contractors... but toss in murderous hatred of him by racists and paranoid extreme right political fanatics and fascists, hot headed Cubans ( many who lost their wealth there ) and established power icons afraid of losing their incredibly indulged above the law royalty thrones.

In my earlier post I refer to JVB's sister as " Debbee" as I saw this name mentioned in PB's post. I have searched for JVB's family background and only see the one sister "Lynda" mentioned. Can someone provide me with a simple link to JVB's familial history? In the Spartacus JVB piece it mentions that JVB's sister "Lynda" stated that JVB told her of her 1963 NO affair with Oswald in 1964. If "Debbee" is "Lynda" ( or even if not ) my questions about any sibling of JVB who backs up Judyth's affair story with a public confirmation that they were made aware of this story directly from JVB at that early 1964 time are the same. Since Ms. Brown spent 7 years in some degrees of communication with JVB I assume she has some knowledge of the JVB sister who may be relevant in the area of JVB credibilty and that is why I asked her the questions I posted earlier. If she doesn't want to answer my questions regarding JVB's sister that is fine. I would however appreciate any links that may provide more information about JVB's sister or other siblings that have in any way commented on JVB in the realm of her Oswald affair tale.

I just viewed the The Men Who Killed Kennedy documentary episode 8 posted by KG. At one point I became aware of a statement by Judyth Baker regards her being introduced to Jack Ruby by Oswald which someone on this thread had earlier presented dishonestly as a "quote" by Judyth. A quote that I naively assumed was documented and that made me doubt Judyth Baker and her story again. The quote was supposedly of Oswald saying to Judyth... " I want you to meet my friend Sparky Rubenstein." I had responded that if Judyth Baker had actually stated this quote, which I could never envision Oswald saying, that it just undermines her story even more. Maybe Baker does state this preposterous quote of her "Sparky Rubenstein" introduction story in another interview or her books. If so I'd like to know which one. But in this TMWKK video JVB doesn't say this quote at all. What she says is, after reminiscing about her dog named "Sparky", Oswald and Ferry mentioned another person to her named "Sparky." A real hot head who couldn't control his anger. They were referring to Jack Ruby ( Jack Rubenstein.). Even though the documentary says she did meet Ruby in Ferries apartment, nowhere in this video does JVB relate this Oswald-Ruby introduction story using the quote stated by this earlier poster. If this poster knows of this other Ruby "Sparky" introduction Oswald quote being used by JVB in another venue, I sure would like to know which one. If he can't provide us ( me ) with this I must say I am much more inclined to wonder how many other times JVB has been misquoted by her most ardent detractors.

I once knew someone who was born in Germany in the mid 1940's and who came over to the USA as a child after his mother married a GI a few years later. His family here was working class and I knew him as a good person, liberal minded and sympathetic to the poor and working class poor. Never discussed middle 20th century USA/ European political or military history with him. But one day on a lark, he just opened up about how hard things were in Germany from the end period of WWII and for the rest of the 1940's. Obviously his German mother who was born there probably in the late 1920's must have shared her experiences through it all to him as he grew up. Without him directly saying so, I sensed his mother was of the same mind set as the parents of the Germany born friend Pamela Brown met in her youth.

Pamela Brown, you mention JVB's sister Debbee as confirming JVB did tell her about her ( JVB's) affair with Lee Harvey Oswald. Could you tell us the approximate time frame - month, year - in which Debbee was told this by JVB ... according to Debbee ? Did Debbee say this to you personally...or someone else? Do you believe this affair story sharing claim by JVB's sister Debbee? If so why? Is this Debbee of good and honest character ( your feelings of such ) from what you may have seen or heard of her yourself in your years of contact with JVB? If you believe Debbee's claim of being told of her sister's affair with LHO at such an early date after Oswald was murdered, does your belief of this effect your take on the possibility of it actually being true? What were Debbee's personal feelings about her sister Judyth? Did Debbee ever give any hints that she thought her sister was anything close to the views of Judyth's worst critics? Do you think Anna Lewis was coached ( and not telling the truth ) in her interview as shown on You Tube? If as you mentioned about your last contact with Anna Lewis that she stated she feared for her personal safety and was not wanting public exposure because of her fears...what do you think Anna Lewis feels has caused these threats and who she feels are behind them? Or, is she simply a very insecure or maybe even mentally unstable person who is creating this threat scenario in her own mind more than true reality. Thanks ahead of time for any response to my questions.

If JVB actually quoted that supposed Jack Ruby introduction by Oswald ( I'd like you to meet my old friend Sparky Rubenstein ) then yes, I do believe that "many things" in her books ( like that quote ) are just made up and with each one it gets easier and easier to dismiss more and more of her story. I have read many times where Jack Ruby hated that nickname "Sparky" and I could never envision Oswald using it to introduce him. However, as Kirk mentioned, he could still believe that Oswald and Baker knew each other to some extent. I do too. I don't know exactly how long Oswald and Baker worked for the Reilly Coffee company, but even if it was just weeks, I stand by my speculation that it was probable that they met at some point getting off and on these buses ( which they both rode instead of driving cars ) day after day at the same location, at the same time and for the same work hour schedule. Anna Lewis. Pam Brown says when she last heard from her that Ms. Lewis said she was laying low and fearing for her life. It could be that what she is most afraid of is getting exposed as a xxxx in that interview and that in some way she was paid and coached for her statements? But, maybe not. If she told the truth in that interview then her fear for her life could be from what she knew and shared in that interview. I don't think that Anna Lewis's interview and her statements in this regarding sitting with Lee Oswald and Baker at the same time and as a close couple ( true or not ) are inconsequential. I think that if her statements of this first hand witness account are true...then they are of HUGE importance in determining whether JVB's Oswald affair story is more true than not. And just another thought regarding JVB waiting 30 years to tell her tale. I think it makes more sense than not that she chose to wait this long to do this versus coming forward earlier. Perhaps she didn't want to hurt her husband who she immediately hooked back up with after Oswald, by telling him of her supposed hot and heavy sexual affair while she was engaged to him? Not to mention the weird covert doings that she was involved with at the same time and that would obviously shake him? Women just didn't do this back then and still don't. They don't even share these affairs with their children. Heck, my own mother never revealed to me to her dying breath ( I was 50 at the time ) that she had an affair while married to my birth certificate father and that this other man was my real father. I only discovered this by submitting genetic material ( along with one of my brothers ) to a renown recognized laboratory for a "sibling" test after she died. The numbers don't lie. And it makes some sense that JVB could have been warned about her life if she revealed her NO activities and Oswald connection. Look, many witnesses to the Roswell incident were threatened like this, and took these threats so seriously they too didn't come out and share what they saw in July, 1947 until 25 to 30 years later also. And I agree with George S. regards JVB's tax return.

Maybe JVB did not file her taxes that year, since she obviously didn't owe the IRS anything. Maybe that is why she still had the copy "B?" I didn't file when I was young and only making a few hundred dollars a year.

The other link on that news page about JFK engaging his younger pilot in a brief conversation about UFO's and ET's and their existence is a story I had mentioned on the forum years ago. If true, this may tie into Doug Caddy's forum posted account of his last personal encounter with E.Howard Hunt, where Hunt implied that JFK was killed because it was feared that he may have been considering exposing this secret? Or perhaps JFK had been flapping his lips too much about this greatest secret in history to people who could cause trouble with this knowledge? Think that pilot, Marilyn Monroe, Mary Meyers? Who knows?

M. Walton When you frame Baker's summer of 1963 NO/Oswald love affair story as nothing more than creative fiction writing, I can't wholeheartedly disagree with you. But I just can't wholeheartedly dismiss JVB's tale either. I understand why so many hugely dislike Baker personally. I believe most of the accounts of her in this light are true. And so many who dislike her on this level enthusiastically want to see her exposed as a shameless, money grubbing, lying, overbearing fraud. However, when I go over and over JVB's Oswald and her in NO account and claims and her own personal history before she arrived there, I must confess that if her stories are even half made up fiction It's all still a compelling read IMO. JVB was there. She did work at Reilly's at the same time, hired the same day and left within a day or two of Oswald. And since JVB didn't drive and took buses to her job, wouldn't it make sense that because Oswald also took buses and to the very same employment location on the same daily basis with the same work hours schedule and their getting off the bus there at the very same time and walking into the same complex that they couldn't help but have met at some point? She mentions certain details about Oswald and his manner that ring true. Her recollection about Oswald telling her about getting physical with Marina during arguments and her stated personal response to him about this behavior, if not true, is a very creatively clever side story. JVB's take on Oschner are intriguing to me because I don't see where she could have come up with such a specifically dark take on him just by reading someone else's writings of him...and especially if this take on Oschner hadn't been expressed before in a published way? I may be wrong about this however. And you have Anna Lewis and her published video interview where she claims she and her husband actually sat with Oswald and Baker in NO in a coffee shop during the right time frame and that Baker and Oswald were a couple. How much credibility does one give Anna Lewis? I'm not sure. But she is a real and still living person who was in NO during this specific time and working as a waitress in an affordable coffee shop which is where low income Oswald would go if he wanted to do so.
