JFKA Forum Journals of the Plague Year?
Ron Bulman replied to W. Niederhut's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
Who'd a thunk this five months ago. 12 people, 16 or 28. It must be considered how many people servers and pedestrians are less than six feet to patrons on the walkway. Three, then four, then eight. https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/is-it-actually-safe-to-dine-outside-heres-what-the-math-says/ar-BB15G6P0?li=BBnb7Kz -

Plague wise it hit a little closer to home today. My wife was laid off in late March. Her work, a church daycare closed in early April. She was laid off early as high risk as a diabetic. They re opened in late May. She's still laid off. Today they announced a two week shut down because an employee tested positive. -

It get's worse than this. In case anyone missed the link above. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/rayshard-brooks-was-kicked-denied-medical-care-the-stunning-allegations-against-ex-atlanta-police-officer-garrett-rolfe/ar-BB15D7iN?li=BBnb7Kz This afternoon I read another article I just searched through three pages of MSN links about Garrett Rolfe and it's already gone with the above news. It was about Rolfe being involved in another shooting sometime over a year or so ago. Three officers involved, a (black) man who stole a truck was shot through the lung. Nothing about it in any of their reports. The final report mentions the guy was injured, he got a year in prison and probation. He was speaking up in the article saying he had complained hoping it might stop it from happening again but it fell on deaf ears. Swept under the rug. Rolfe also had I think three other complaints against him in six (?) years on the force, all dismissed so to speak. -

This gets worse as more of the story comes out. Shot in the back twice, one bullet hits the heart. Then instead of trying to say stop the bleeding he's kicked and has his shoulders stood on. No wonder some blacks hate or fear all whites. I don't know if Georgia has a death penalty, if not put him in prison, turn him loose in general population. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/rayshard-brooks-was-kicked-denied-medical-care-the-stunning-allegations-against-ex-atlanta-police-officer-garrett-rolfe/ar-BB15D7iN?li=BBnb7Kz -

The terminator insist on masks! They're almost a joke around here. A few wear them sometimes some places. Not the sheriff for photo ops standing between others elbow to elbow, or other politicians. Gotta maintain that tough guy/woman image. The Gov and associates don't, it's not cool, it doesn't promote business as usual. https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/celebrity/arnold-schwarzenegger-leaves-legendary-gym-over-mask-policy/ar-BB15zHv1?li=BBnbfcL People on the local county facebook news page comment about the recent rise in our number of cases. It's the protest. A small one, many were masked, most were not, nor the officers joining them. It's Wal-Mart. Well they tried. Only one family member was never observed, bring the kids, stop and chat in the aisle with neighbors, cousins etc.. Masks, maybe 20% at one point, one way aisle's? No habla arrows. Since reopening and the increase I wonder about the restaurant's in particular. I've been out to eat 3X in the last month, all in other towns I had to go to, could have done drive through. 2 had every other table, 2 had no masks or gloves. Many I've observed in the evening on Friday/Saturday or Sunday morning going to get a newspaper had packed parking lots. No way they're observing social distancing. Then again the two gym's I pass have a lot of traffic. Does Arnold wonder about covid, I'll be baack. -

This was the guy Johnny Martin worked for. Martin took over Junk Handlers Union 20467 for Humphries from creator of it Leon Cooke. He then killed Cooke, who Ruby worked for as an "organizer". The union was reorganized with Paul Red Dorfman at it's head, Jack Ruby listed second on an organizational list. He stayed on a year or so. Dorfman was an associate of Humphries who connected Jimmy Hoffa with Chicago labor unions. Jacob Rubenstein changed his name legally to Jack Leon Ruby in Dallas Texas, December 1946. The WC said he had no significant previous organized crime connections. http://edmondlifeandleisure.com/murray-humphreys-chicago-crime-boss-transplanted-sooner-p12143-76.htm Regarding the transplanted okie part, apologies to Larry...

I've been wondering about this in a general sense for a while. Football and basketball in particular are face to face contact sports. It's hard to imagine proper social distancing in a baseball dugout as well, the same for locker rooms for all three sports. If the NBA or MLB come back in the middle of a resurgence it could have devastating results for the players, games, seasons and Leagues long term. On a more immediate note with the NFL, Colleges, and High Schools about to start practices (some HS already have started limited) it's not only going to increase the potential for spread between players on a team but as scrimmages between teams and preseason games begin... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ezekiel-elliotts-positive-covid-19-test-is-a-harbinger-of-things-to-come/ar-BB15w4c4?li=BBnb7Kz -

Don't shoot him for being drunk, resisting arrest and running away. Follow him, call for backup. I didn't see it in the video but elsewhere it say's he'd already been patted down, no weapon. He can't kill, or harm you with the taser if you stay back and follow him. The other cop's following both of you, he can assist. -

This book, Jack Ruby The Man Who Killed The Man Who Killed Kennedy should have been titled The Anti Rush To Judgement. Gary Wills was the author, Ovid Demaris was a reporter from Chicago who interviewed and recorded people. Wills gets to the point with 26 pages left of 266. He mentions Mark Lane disparagingly 3-4 times in the last 50 pages or so but on page 240 he spends the next six pages on Nancy Perrin Rich and Lane's acceptance of her statements. Any mention of conspiracy is scoffed at. Such as Lane's confidence in Garrison. At points the book does offer interesting if skewed takes on Ruby's trial, appeal and imprisonment . Quotes from interviews of Sheriff Decker and Assistant D/A Bill Alexander are unique in what I've read. To paraphrase, The guards testified they didn't believe Ruby was insane because only a sane man could cheat that well at poker.

You probably already know the 25 lighters is a reference to a way to sell drugs inside them. Or so I read when this song came out. Inspiration from an article about the streets of Houston in the early 2000's if I remember right. I saw them once in the 70's in Dallas Memorial Auditorium where JFK once gave a campaign speech and General Walker held rallies. Gibbons went into this aside as a blues song slowed down about playing there years before, walking the streets and finding a guy who sold them a matchbox full of weed. The first time I saw them in the fall of 73 at Tarrant County Convention center they played 45 minutes to an hour. I thought what? Huh? Then they came back for 5 or 6 encore's. Weird but cool. An old friend recommended the Netflix documentary about a month ago. I was floored by the background, detail and pictures. It was a joy to watch while sheltering in place. As you link Gottsa Get Paid, the first album I bought of by them was Rio Grande Mud. Which eventually led to this 80's version of . . . https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=zz+top+just+got+paid&view=detail&mid=27A11720448DBCCEDDDC27A11720448DBCCEDDDC&FORM=VIRE0&ru=%2fsearch%3fq%3dzz%2btop%2bjust%2bgot%2bpaid%26form%3dPRUSEN%26mkt%3den-us%26httpsmsn%3d1%26msnews%3d1%26rec_search%3d1%26refig%3d30a0804c0e1941b9a61402cf48f6c402%26sp%3d1%26ghc%3d1%26qs%3dLS%26pq%3dzz%2btop%2bjust%26sk%3dPRES1%26sc%3d8-11%26cvid%3d30a0804c0e1941b9a61402cf48f6c402 -

Interesting. I never knew about PT 59, the evacuating Marines or JFK having one die in his bunk. Nor did I realize how well armed the PT's were. Two twin 50 cal. machineguns, two 40 mm guns, four single 50 and 30 cal. machineguns. A lot of firepower for the size of the craft. Also near 50 mph on water at the time would have been pretty fast would it not? Shame it was abandoned and sank. It should have been preserved for the sake of history. -

I read a month or two ago how this might work against the right in terms of voters. Older voters are more inclined to vote for the prez, reduction in their numbers is a negative for them. Florida is the retirement State. Could the not so supreme court be called to decide on their hanging chad's again? -

Thanks! This is excellent. I imagine it will be dissected by many. "All we see is good for nothing news, Dark News that depresses and horrifies you." His words about Little Richard make me think of trying to dance to this song he mentions. Best in full screen at full volume on a Friday night. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=little+richard+good+golly+miss+molly+1955&view=detail&mid=6C71C015A6B1CCD77FCF6C71C015A6B1CCD77FCF&FORM=VIRE0&ru=%2fsearch%3fq%3dlittle%2brichard%2bgood%2bgolly%2bmiss%2bmolly%2b1955%26form%3dPRUSEN%26mkt%3den-us%26httpsmsn%3d1%26msnews%3d1%26rec_search%3d1%26refig%3db5ac58f559e248c280bd9b2b6053e69f%26sp%3d1%26ghc%3d1%26qs%3dEP%26pq%3dlittle%2brichard%2bgood%2bgolly%26sk%3dPRES1%26sc%3d8-25%26cvid%3db5ac58f559e248c280bd9b2b6053e69f -

Well, I'm mistaken again. I thought Harvey rented the boat, but I guess just the hotel charges he filed are proof he was there. I also didn't realize they took it to the Keys, assumed they just cruised around in the ocean to talk privately. Something else I read somewhere a few years back that has bugged me is supposedly Morales coming to the town Rosselli and Harvey took off from but he stayed behind. Have you or anyone else ever come across anything like this? -

Wasn't the Military guy in Dealy plaza taking pictures that went into the TSBD a Noncom... More seriously Larry SWHT and Fonzi's Last Investigation are likely the main reason I still wonder about Morales possible role in the JFK Assassination. I know I've read other places about him but they don't come to mind at the moment. Thanks to you and others for participation in this conversation. It's certainly been informative to me! Please continue. -

This won't go over well on the right. I anticipate the governor being forced to step in on their behalf, invoking state vs city rights. For the sake of bizness. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/houston-weighs-reimposing-lockdown-sees-precipice-of-disaster/ar-BB15mmie?li=BBnb7Kz
