Pat Speer
Holy moly. I was just watching Rachel Maddow's show on MSNBC, and who did I see? Robert Morrow. Forum member Robert Morrow. In a jester hat. I kid you not. Incredibly, unbelievably, mind-bogglingly, Morrow's obsession with the sex lives of famous politicians, and his even-stranger obsession with Hillary Clinton, has found a mouthpiece in...Donald frakin' Trump. Maddow showed how Morrow's obsession with Hill and Bill has infected GOP dirty-trickster and conspiracy theorist Roger Stone, and how Stone has somehow fed Morrow's "research" (which, let's face it, is almost entirely uncorroborated gossip from unreliable sources) to Trump, and how Trump is now spewing this stuff at appearances, in preparation of his battle royale with Hillary. That's right. Donald Trump, who has made more offensive comments about women than almost anyone alive, is now running on his being pro-women, and Hillary being both anti-women and an enabler of her serial rapist husband, Bill Clinton. I don't know which is crazier, that Trump is spewing this stuff, or that Stone and Trump find Morrow even slightly credible. (Sorry, Robert.) Larry Hancock
I hope everyone realizes they are witnessing history being rewritten (destroyed) in real time...or at least the attempt to do so...hopefully sanity and reality will prevail.
James DiEugenio
Its really bizarre isn't it Larry? Incredible how Trump, Roger Stone and Judy Baker have now substituted something like an alternative universe of their own. As I said, these guys really know how to manipulate the media. The only thing that compares with it is what Schwarzenegger did in the California governor's race way back when.
Larry Hancock
It's also frightening to realize how some segments of the media want that sort of content....forget the manipulation, they are actively looking for sensation given that news has re-positioned itself as "reality TV" and as entertainment. I knew we were in trouble when CNN came up with the "Situation Room" thing....hey audience, this is not news, its "participation" and anything and everything can be made into a crisis or situation. And they want it so much that they just accept it, with no vetting of sources, fact checking - even to the extent of not vetting their own on screen analysts. Fox got burned just last week for long term use of a military/national security specialist who had issues which were pretty quickly found once somebody looked at his real background, which Fox had not. I'm working on a blog post for a story that came up today, yet one more anonymous source with politically explosive comments on a story years old but just now showing up. Pretty clearly political manipulation and his story is being thrown against the wall with no qualifiers at all - of course qualifiers and context would really lower the drumbeat on the story line so hey, no time for that. Its even going on a lower levels than MSM, there are so many internet news sites that they often need content, same as with lots of small papers with little or no news staff (or big ones who laid them all off) that they are just grabbing op eds or press releases for content with no checking....and of course the political consultants know full well how to take advantage of this, when to plant stories with which media outlet, when to saturate the right profiles with email blasts...if you tell them what they want to hear no worry about their fact checking it. I use to worry about the Military Industrial Complex, then it was the Military Contracting Complex and now...we have the Deep Political Complex (with due credits to Peter Dale Scott) which knows exactly how to use both the mainstream and alternative media. So.....for all you app developers out there.....the next big app should be a fact checker...make it automatic that I can run it against news stories.....maybe display pros and cons.....or perhaps just rate it as uncorroborated.... Joe Bauer
There really isn't any documentation or even commentary regards Raphael Cruz Sr.'s time in New Orleans. I've tried to find information ( besides Wiki ) from R. Cruz Sr. himself or others that mentions his time in N.O.. So far, there seems to be a black hole there and a blackout from Cruz. Sr. himself. We do know Cruz was living in New Orleans when Oswald was doing his thing. We also know he seemed to be quite active politically in Austin just before he left for N.O giving speeches about his experience and views of the Castro revolution in Cuba where he says he was a tortured soldier. But, it seems his Austin era political fervor and sharing just stopped once he went to N.O. So here we have a politically active Castro hating, ex-patriot Cuban moving to one of the top two ovens of Castro hating Cuban political activism ( Miami was the other ) and he just goes dark? Please, there is no way that Cruz Sr. didn't know something about Carlos Bringuier and what his people were up to and especially about the extremely widely covered confrontation downtown involving Oswald and Bringuier. That incident was published in the newspaper, broadcast on the radio and even reported on TV in New Orleans. Including the debate between Oswald and Bringuier. Cruz. Sr. was the exact same age as Oswald by the way. Edited November 4, 2017 by Joe Bauer
Hugo Langendoen
Btw I think it is “funny” that now-President Trump used this allegation in his campaign. And I just read that he will relaease all the closed files (with only names and addresses of living persons marked out) to stop the conspiracy theories. So somewhere there is a little discrepancy. Seems to me that he changed his mind now he is president. Or maybe the intelligence services made him change his mind? At least it makes me wonder.... Hugo Langendoen
He said that on Twitter about the last 300 documents. A Dutch newspaper reported it and I checked his twitter to see if it was true. “After strict consultation with General Kelly, the CIA and other Agencies, I will be releasing ALL #JFKFiles other than the names and... ...addresses of any mentioned person who is still living. I am doing this for reasons of full disclosure, transparency and... ...in order to put any and all conspiracy theories to rest.”
