Joseph McBride Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 The "DC" man in Dealey Plaza looks considerably older than Felipe Santiago.

It resembled a little dog. Jean Hill was ridiculed unfairly for that. She made many misstatements, but that was not one of them. You're incorrect on this, Joe. Nobody gave Jackie a "Lambchop puppet" at Love Field, and that fact is proven in the film clip linked below. In the video clip, Jackie is clearly handling a cluster of flowers and not any kind of toy or puppet just after she enters the limousine at Love Field: VIDEO --- Jackie Kennedy Is Holding Flowers, Not "Lambchop" Photographs taken at Love Field (like the one shown below) also tend to debunk the notion that there was a "Lambchop" toy. Joseph McBride Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) Well, it's debatable, David, but it looks like the puppet in this image at Love Field. I had an interview scheduled with Jean Hill, in which I would have asked her many other things as well as this, but she abruptly canceled it without explanation. I had met her in Dealey Plaza and chatted for a while, and she seemed willing to talk. I wanted to confront her with her many changes of story over the years. Probably she figured that would happen. Guest Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Looks like Lambchop to me Quote Wiki : in 1957 Lamb Chop appeared with Shari Lewis on the television show Captain Kangaroo. During the 1960s, Shari Lewis had her own musical-comedy network television show, The Shari Lewis Show.

Derek Thibeault Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) Lambchop was the best! The thing I did like about the Umbrella Man film is the obsessiveness of the main character, like Jim Garrison in JFK, this case can take you down rabbit holes and make you crazy if you let it. I started obsessing when I was about 10 and 40 years later, I am still. It can consume you, and I think the film did a good job of showing that. Too bad it couldn't make the mainstream, if I didn't read about this case I would have never heard of it. Edited September 6, 2022 by Derek Thibeault

Derek Thibeault Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 We are really in the weeds when we are debating if those were flowers or a lambchop puppet. I see it now the next parody book - "Did Shari Lewis kill JFK?"
Ron Ege Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Maybe we can now - say that "weed" is gone? David, what say you? Myth or fact?

Why not use this much clearer image I posted earlier showing the items Jackie is holding? It's clearly flowers---not a toy puppet:
