From the breaking NY Times article:

ASHINGTON — The Justice Department asked to search President Donald J. Trump’s Florida residence after retrieving an initial batch of highly classified national security documents, out of concern that their disclosure could compromise “clandestine human sources” used in intelligence gathering, according to a redacted version of the affidavit used to obtain the warrant.

The affidavit — including more than three dozen pages of evidence and legal arguments presented by the Justice Department’s national security division plus supporting documents — describes the government’s monthslong push to recover highly classified materials taken from the White House by a former president who viewed state documents as his private property.

Whew! Eureka, I have found it!

If this isn't a cudgel the Democrats can use to batter the Republicans in the Congressional races, I don't know what is!

Speaking of cudgels, why was Trump hoarding and refusing to return classified documents about clandestine human intelligence sources?!

Heavily, heavily redacted.

So, now government secrecy...while engaging in a prosecution...is good.

The classification of documents, and secrecy, is good.

An elected US President cannot de-classify documents. The Deep State has final say on whether a document can be declassified or not.

The FBI is good. The intel state is good.  More military outlays are good. In fact, the Deep State does not exist, and if so, is seen in...the law firm Jones Day.

Trump looms larger (in the minds of his detractor and supporters) than principles, or even common sense.

This is a total non sequitur, folks, but it's too good to ignore.

Django Unchained does an uncanny Donald Trump impression... 🤥
