Now it looks more like they won't get 20!. Which is terrible! heh heh The only red wave is in Florida, and it's not the Gulf Coast! Now there's a very solid reason for the GOP to kick Trump out. He's obviously a liability. If he didn't get so worked up about those phony late polls, and wasn't facing a possible jail term, He probably wouldn't have run at all. But he's all but declared now, and now the only reason he's running is to raise the stakes to try to keep himself out of jail! It just seems like they have to realize the total spinelessness, fear and lack of courage to stand up to Trump formula that they've been sticking to for 2 years is just going to end up being suicide! I've checked out the coverage on CNN , Fox and the major 3 networks. East coast bias is still alive and well on network and cable. On CNN it seems they're just happy there wasn't a red wave, never mind if the Dems also lose the Senate! What kind of thinking is that? The real state they should have given some coverage in the last couple of hours is Nevada, it's the pivotal state now. But then, the counts stall for one reason or another. I would say CNN is the best at breaking down state to district coverage. Fox has tried but they don't have much experience. For 2 hours, it was pretty obvious Fetterman won, But still they lost focus, who cares about who gets the most votes in Georgia?, it's obvious it's a run off. I watched Fetterman up 90% at the beginning of the night and Oz slowly caught up. (Kinda looked like the F curve happed at the beginning this time.) The same places that had weird stuff happen in 2020 had weird stuff happen this year as well like AZ. I'm not a sore loser, I'd just like to think that people in those places have corrupt officials, maybe not maybe they are actually that stupid, lol. I live where I live because I enjoy being surrounded by Conservative Latinos. Did you see Desantis's victory speech, that was awesome! He got 56% of the Latino vote. Florida and Texas are the only places in the country I'd consider living after seeing the Covid policies there. In Mexico you have to have an ID to vote, Stores can't sell liquor, you have to get your finger inked and have to put your finger print on your ballot. They have the results that night. Kirk, I read a report that Trump is livid and storming around Mar-a-Lago screaming at everyone. He wanted to announce his candidacy last Saturday thinking he was going to rise to stardom as a kingmaker. Cooler heads prevailed and got him to hold off in case something happened like last night. Now, if he announces his candidacy, it will be seen by everyone as an act of desperation. Trump lost in more ways than one last night. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. P.S. Look for an indictment some time this week, before his scheduled deposition before the Jan 6th Committee on the 14th. He will have to either blow off the subpoena and risk a contempt of Congress charge, or go in there and plead the 5th. He said that he was going to have a major announcement on the 15th. No one's contending that it's a revolution so how are we going to be fooled? Are you for the 1000th time cluing us that the parties are the same so it won't matter? We'll try this: 1)Are the Republicans as apt to try to impeach the President? And how do you think that will turn out? 2)Are the Republicans more apt to threaten debt limit default now to force cuts in Social Security and Medicare, which could have almost catastrophic consequences worldwide? It is true that the longer it takes to resolve this, the more likely the natives will be restless. Maybe we have a legitimate hope that that possibility has been lessened?
