Bugsy Siegel killing and JFKA

Recommended Posts

He's dead, so I can call him Bugsy.  Siegel shot in 1947, through a window from some 40 feet away, supposedly a military carbine with copper jacketed slugs.  Here's Sally Denton from her book on Las Vegas, The Money and the Power:

The bullet through his eye was a phenomenal shot. The sofa sat at an

angle to the window, and "the killer almost had to shoot around the corner,"

concluded the FBI. The man who cradled the carbine on the pergola, and his

partner beside him, were never charged or prosecuted, though their identities

would be known by officials in Nevada and Washington. Like [Benny] Binion's

casino manager Louis McWillie, they were associates of Jack Ruby—the

Chicago hoodlum who moved that year to Dallas. [p. 57]

Same rifleman in Dealey, 16 years later?

Or just more disinfo-by-implication?

Yes.  It could very well be the same marksman.  If I am remembering correctly, Chauncey Holt said in his last video just before he died, that he was a lookout at the Bugsy Siegel killing.  I took this as his means of saying I killed Bugsy Siegal, but I'm not going to confess to it.  Hard-core Mafia to the last, in my opinion.  He admitted to the lesser crime of being involved.

Through this last video Holt said he was ordered onto the train in Dealey Plaza after the assassination.  He didn't say who ordered him unto the train, but the impression was some higher up or higher ups in the Mafia.  He said he had to get on that train.  Once orders like that were given they had to be obeyed.  He was part of a 3 man team and just the radio man and later claims he was one of the 3 tramps.

He worried whether he would become the patsy by being blown up.  There was explosives in the train car.  Once again, I think this was his way on saying he was on the train during the assassination and had been one of the shooters.  There's no way to prove that, but that was my thoughts watching the video.  I do make mention from time to time of the 3 patsy photo in New Orleans with Oswald, Holt, and Bill Shelly.

There is considerable argument on whether there was a train on the Triple Underpass when the assassination occurred.  The other side of this argument calls this the "Train Game".

Certainly not the same rifleman, however, Jack Ruby was a Federal Bureau of Narcotics informant to an OSS commando named George Hunter White as early as 1946 (right around the same time Jack Ruby was illegally smuggling weapons off of military bases while Ruby was serving in the United States Army Air Force).

Fast-forward sixteen years later, George Hunter White is one of the CIA's top contacts with the criminal underworld, in terms of assassinations. Two of Jack Ruby's contacts with Mafia assassination teams are Hanna Yazbeck and Harold “Happy” Meltzer.

Yazbeck and Meltzer are also spotters for potential assassins in the CIA's "QJ/WIN" program.

OSS Col. Garland Williams and OSS Col. Charles Siragusa introduce Jacob Donald "Jake" Esterline and David “El Indio” Sánchez Morales to Meltzer via John "Handsome Johnny” Rosselli AKA “Col. John Rawlston” sometime in 1960.

And apparently,  Col. Sheffield M. Edwards of the CIA's Health Alteration Committee is kept completely abreast of all of these developments.

Quod Erat Demonstrandum, if you want to know who spotted (not hired, but located) the riflemen who murdered Benjamin Siegel and spotted (once again, located, not hired), at least one of the riflemen who was meant to murder Prime Minister Fidel Castro (and later murdered President Kennedy), you need not look any further than United States Army Air Force PFC Jacob Leon Rubenstein.

Of course, two other potential "spotters" for hitmen in mafia circles would be Edward Lawton Smith and Jean-Pierre Lafitte, both informants to FNB agent George Hunter White, just like Jack Ruby...

I'm thinking that "known by officials in Nevada and Washington" rules out Chauncey Holt.

According to his last video, Holt was an assassin for the CIA and the Mafia.  And, this was what he did for decades.

Yazbeck and Metzler turn up again in 68 in LA  in relation to the RFK Assassination if I remember right,  Didn't Metzler have a office or or business space at the Ambassador Hotel where RFK was shot?
