Let me ask another question:  Who invited Marilyn to sing Happy Birthday to JFK?

Here's one opinion:  https://historyofyesterday.com/the-truth-behind-marilyn-monroes-infamous-birthday-song-f143200b1017

I can't remember which book I read, but it said that MM was murdered by some of Sam Giancana's boys to make it look like the Kennedy's did the deed. She was injested anally with a substance that would evaporate/disappear before a autopsy.

Who is Carlyn Beccia Pamela?

Most of this  article had been impeached forever by Don McGovern.

That picture for example is greatly cropped so as not to expose that there were literally scores of people in that room.  In a few minutes Steve Smith was leading MM around the room hand in hand.

There were upwards of 20 entertainers there for that combination birthday party, fundraiser.

And MM was escorted there by her father in law.  She then drove him home after, and when she got back to her room, her fan club was awaiting her.  She was very nice and gave them a few minutes before going upstairs alone.

And that was that.

Mike, that piece of horse manure comes from the Giancana book Double Cross.

Its been proven that unlike what the book says, the Outfit never handled Monroe's career.  Therefore, there was no contact between them.

And unlike what some people have written, Giancana took no photo of MM in Nevada, and the actor from Godfather was not in the pic that was taken.  Donna Morel tracked down the person who did take the picture and she told her both of the above.

More mythology

I said that was one opinion of how Marilyn was asked to sing for JFK.  It does happen to loop Bobby into the event.  I don't find that believable either.

Nice one Sean.

But I would have said Jayne Mansfield.

But go ahead Pam.

You could be right about Jayne wanting Marilyn to disappear. However, she seemed to have a tendency to sandbag herself, getting pregnant so often she couldn't fulfill her contract, so maybe not smart enough...

Unfortunately, she met with her own untimely death a few years later...

Who do you think would have benefitted? I’m still open to the possibility she was offed, but not by RFK.

At this point I don't have an answer. However, I do think whoever conjured up Marilyn singing Happy Birthday to JFK might have wanted to create some trouble for the Kennedys...

Yeah Jim,looking at the book cover it was Sam's book.I also remember reading that O'l Mooney had her room bugged,so they knew when to go in.I thought for sure one could find a picture of them together, but nope.

You know, it is almost mind boggling how many people bugged Marilyn at so many places.

And yet no one has heard a tape.  So Summers calls his show "the unheard tapes."

I have very little attention devoted to this topic. But I tend to think it was probably a suicide, intentional or not, and I'm not going to believe on anybody's word here or anywhere that there couldn't have been anything going on between MM and both Kennedy's. And under those circumstances, I would certainly expect AG Bobby to come in and clean out any compromising material from Marilyn's place.

I suspect the conjecture of "who killed Marilyn" will continue forever, and we'll never find out.

Here's an article on the Netflix show...https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/movies/a39840131/marilyn-monroe-death-true-story-netflix/

Two things immediately leap out -- the 'true' story...and the doc 'confirms' RFK choppered to a flight that night...

Obvious propaganda.  But why?

Among others, the book Crypt 51 offers this theory. During the 'Family Secrets' trial in '98, it was alleged that Frank Schweihs  was one of the hit men. He supposedly told his girl friend who then shared the story with others, until Frank was ordered to kill her, which he did.

That Esquire article is something. And that woman is actually on the staff of the magazine.

So much BS for a short column. Really, kind of scary.

MM was still alive on the way to the hospital and RFK was in Brentwood?

Whew.  Utter malarkey.

Rereading that Esquire thing, its like a press release.

RFK was in LA the day MM died?

There are pictures of him in GIlroy all day long in the Susan Bernard book, Marilyn: Intimate Exposures.

There is a story in the local newspaper about him going to church the next morning.

So what in God's name is she talking about with a helicopter ride to Brentwood?

Summers didn't debunk anything.  He just created more work for K and K, like his silly Vanity Fair article.
