Yes, John, I've heard the old Scotsman, Andy Stewart, sing a song which is, possibly, about porn star Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump, the laddie whose mother came from the Isle of Lewis, west of Skye.   (He even does a hilarious Elvis impersonation in this version.)

It's called, "Donald, Where's Your Trousers?"  🤪

Ha ha ha. Good one, William. I wonder if this very popular reel, Miss McLeod's Reel, is called after Donald Trump's mother:

JFK Revisited has been out since July of 2021. .... Yet, even though it came out on DVD in July [2022], its [sic; as always] still number five on the Amazon chart for documentaries.

Just goes to show that people enjoy wallowing in fantasy-filled speculation and conjecture.

Similarly, David Lifton's book of fantasy, Best Evidence, was on the New York Times best-seller list for three months, getting as high as #4.

Conspiracy sells. The Lone-Nut truth? Not so much.

Glad to see you posting in the new year David given previous posts. My mother-in-law who I love survives as well, as we all do for the start of another year.

Happy New Year to all.

John,

I love Miss McLeod's reel.  Kevin Burke plays it well.

Incidentally, I think everyone from the Isles of Skye and Lewis is either a McDonald or a McLeod (like Donald Trump's mother, Mary McLeod.)

Happy New Year to everyone, and well done, William, on another excellent performance.

Rod Stewart’s rendition of Auld Lang Syne is terrific, but Eddi Reader’s is sublime.

Thanks, John. I love the ‘a capella’ at the start. Before sending Rod, I almost selected this one, which also has a quality to it. Its funny how this stuff attacks the senses, brings out deep emotions in us. This one is from your green isle with no serpents.
