For some strange reason GDM did not seem to know Moore was CIA and referred to him as the head FBI guy in Dallas. Moore was indeed a former FBI agent, but his current role was with that of CIA. And there is no indication that GDM would have known Moore as far back as the days when Moore was with the FBI. So GDM seemed to identify Moore as being with his old employer of FBI rather than his new employer of CIA. Weird. I don't know why Moore would hide his identity in such a way because the phone number of the Dallas CIA field office was in the phone book. So its not like that field office was a secret or anything. 56 minutes ago, W. He’s unlikely to get on the ballot in 25 states. The ‘No Labels’ movement — which has substantial financial resources, a disciplined political operation and a lengthy head start — is having a hard time getting on the ballot in all 50 states, because it’s a huge under-taking. If it’s uphill for ‘No Labels,’ it’s a much, much steeper climb for Kennedy.” “Second, it is believed by some Republican operatives and a number of people in Trump’s ‘brain trust’ that Kennedy will take more votes away from Trump than President Biden in so-called ‘battleground states’. Whether or not this is true doesn’t matter, as long as Team Trump believes it. If Team Trump continues to believe it, something needs to be done.” “Which brings us to the third thing, which is this: I’m reliably informed that long-time Trump-whisperer Steve Bannon is constantly in Trump’s ear, telling him that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. should be his running mate.” “That would knock over the chessboard, to say the least.” ‘Star-studded’ birthday party fundraiser for RFK Jr. turns into debacle before it even begins' By Social Links forCarlos Greer Updated Jan. 6, 2024, ' . . . W. Niederhut
Had to laugh at the sheer absurdity... Is there a better example of Trump's extreme narcissism than his recent Tweet insisting that he shouldn't be prosecuted for his serious crimes against the United States, because it could undermine his enjoyment of his Golden Years? Kirk Gallaway
Just to be clear, Leslie, these are 2 separate events. This doesn't support W's article about RK being a VP for Trump, right? Boy RK would be a permanent political pariah if he did that. Still I think some of more MAGA like RK supporters here would go for that while maybe not saying so. So far I notice one who has seen now that RK is a hard core pro Israel, which he doesn't like. Still I don't see any defections in them. It's a blood cult. i really have a hard time believing it. Still he's done about every politically stupid thing he could do. Does he have any idea of the scope of moral revulsion by a solid majority of people he would get for doing that? Allying with Trump is such a cynical move it goes counter to everything the Kennedy's stood for in the public mind.

Kirk Gallaway
Here's Tony Lyons Leslie, Anybody who runs for President has to devise a campaign strategy. In this interview Lyons keeps being asked what states in the electoral college does RK intend to win, and he's completely evasive 3 straight times! They're just sort of shooting in the dark. George Govus
Yow, my web browser called to my attention a new article inThe Paris Review entitled, "Invisible Ink: At the CIA’s Creative Writing Group." "Oh, really, Paris Review?" was the reaction I had when I read the title. The author, a novelist, Johannes Lichtman, early on referenced the review's origins. https://www.theparisreview.org/blog/2024/01/09/invisible-ink-at-the-cias-creative-writing-group/#more-166475

IMO, the CIA "Mockingbird" staffers have been cranking out fiction for years. E. Howard Hunt, himself, wrote a lot of pulp fiction. James Angleton and Cord Meyer studied poetry at Yale. Ed Lansdale was an ad man.
George Govus
W., yes, the jokes practically write themselves. Lichtman's second novel, I see, is entitled Calling Ukraine. Maybe I will check that out.

There are rumors that Boebert was working as an escort in Garfield County, (i.e., Aspen) where she met Ted Cruz and some other Koch-affiliated heavy Republican rollers. Perhaps, some day, we'll get the true story. Edited January 12 by W. Niederhut
