Angleton, the Black Prince and Otto Skorzeny . . .

Note: due to egregious censorship of the term N a z I on a forum that boasts "education" in the title, in the following excerpt the term National Socialist(s) replaces the historically acceptable abbreviation. Be assured the publisher of Coup in Dallas, without hesitation or fear of reprisal, insisted on printing the term N a z I where applicable — having something to do with that pesky First Amendment and Freedom of the Press.)

Spies, Killers, Soldiers, and Ideologues…

Joining Otto Skorzeny, and his band of assassins in Madrid, were former war-time National Socialists of special note to this book, Léon Degrelle and Junio Valerio Borghese. Léon Joseph Marie Ignace Degrelle was a notorious National Socialist collaborator born in Belgium in 1906 to a wealthy Catholic family. Young Léon studied at a prestigious Jesuit college and received a law doctorate from the Catholic University in Louvain. Following his schooling, Degrelle organized his own political party in Belgium, the Rexist Party, a Christian-based social justice group with deep-seated fascist, anti-communist, anti-Semite and anti-bourgeois underpinnings. Degrelle also became Belgium’s chief supporter and collaborator with Hitler, forming a military brigade of non-German Waffen SS members to fight in World War II.

Following the end of the war, Degrelle, along with many of his brigade members, fled to Spain. The Belgian government accused Degrelle of treason and demanded that Franco’s government hand him over to them. Franco refused and helped Degrelle seek refuge and settle in his country. The Belgians, who had tried Degrelle in absentia and condemned him to death by a firing squad, were outraged by Spain’s refusal and ordered that all of Degrelle’s supporters and family members in Belgium be rounded up and arrested. Nearly twenty of his supporters were executed and several of his children were beaten and tortured in prison. The Belgian intelligence services sent several covert teams into Spain to kidnap Degrelle but all failed. The Jewish community in Israel and America applied pressure for Degrelle’s extradition and claimed that he was responsible for the wartime deportations and deaths of over thirty-five thousand Jews in Belgium.

Skorzeny, who had first met Degrelle when he was in command of his Belgium SS division, welcomed Degrelle to Spain with open arms, helping him financially to form a construction company that received a large amount Spanish government work, as well as lucrative contracts from the US government and Pentagon to build military airfields throughout Spain. We have reason to pursue Degrelle later in the book, based on a remark made by a family member of Pierre Lafitte to author Albarelli that Léon Degrelle funded a small part of the JFK hit, “only because he despised Kennedy so much. . . ..

Prince Junio Valerio Borghese was another highly esteemed member of this cadres of fascists. Said Degrelle of Borghese, “he was a very impressive man,” and asserted, “the most important man of post-Fascist Italy.” (Martin Lee interview with Léon Degrelle, May 23, 1993.) Valerio Borghese was born at the turn of the century into a noble Italian family. The family’s heritage can be traced back to the days of Julius Caesar. Handsome, self-assured and ever restless, Borghese enlisted in the Italian Navy before World War II and was assigned to “an elite naval sabotage unit that eventually became known as the Decima Flottiglia MAS.” Decima MAS, or X-Mas, was a highly successful wartime group that was responsible for sinking many British warships. Borghese’s exploits with the Italian navy quickly became near legendary.

In July 1943, Mussolini’s Axis government was shaken when Italian royalists seized Mussolini and threw him into a remote, inaccessible stone prison in the Appenine Mountains. Spectacularly, his seemingly hopeless situation was reversed when he was freed and returned to power through a daring raid on the prison by Hitler’s favorite National Socialist commando, Otto Skorzeny.

Following Mussolini’s return to power, the National Socialists demilitarized Italy’s army and navy, and Borghese took his X-Mas subordinates to operate on the land where they became infamous for rounding-up Italian civilians and torturing them before publicly executing many. Slow on the uptake, Mussolini eventually realized that Borghese’s operations were happening apart from his overall strategy and that the Black Prince was also keeping close contact with National Socialist SS officers, British intelligence officers, and OSS officers Allen Dulles and James Jesus Angleton.

Impulsively, Mussolini decided to arrest Borghese, but quickly released him, and by late 1944, the Italian fascist dictator and his mistress had been killed and viciously mutilated by frenzied Italian crowds. Allen Dulles quickly requested that US Vice Admiral Ellery Stone act to protect the Black Prince from any harm. Records, indicate that a few months later, on May 9, 1945, OSS officer James Jesus Angleton spirited Borghese, dressed in an American soldier’s uniform, away to safety in Rome. About a week later, Borghese was arrested, tried, and convicted of minor wartime crimes by the Allies. He served only about two years in prison and was then released to become an active force advancing international terrorist activities designed to promote the cause of fascism.

Eventually, Borghese was joined in his activities by the notorious terrorist and assassin Stefano Delle Chiaie. Says author Martin Lee in his ground-breaking work, The Beast Reawakens, “Borghese often spoke highly of the five-foot fascist phenom, referring to Delle Chiaie as ‘one of the few men capable of putting things in order in Italy.’” The reader encounters Delle Chiaie in depth later in the chapter, but for now it’s important to note that it was Delle Chiaie who accompanied the Black Prince when they fled Italy for Spain following the botched putsch known as Golph Borghese in December 1970, where they rendezvoused with Otto Skorzeny. According to Lee, “Delle Chiaie glorified violence as a hygienic outburst capable of cutting through the postwar bourgeois morass. During the 1960s, his organization, Avanguardia National Socialistonale (National Vanguard) came to be regarded as the cudgel of Italian right-wing extremism. For guidance and inspiration, Delle Chiaie looked to Julius Evola, the reactionary intellectual who emerged as the gray eminence of postwar Italian fascism.”
The Black Prince also held an ideology he believed strongly in, unlike James Jesus Angleton who was wrapped up in the beauty of words and professionally obscuring their use. When he first met Borghese, Angleton was a painfully thin, well-schooled, aspiring poet whose androgynous qualities seemed to anticipate David Bowie. While Borghese was shrewd and finely attuned to wartime reality, Angleton was a neophyte to war and world counterintelligence. In time however, Angleton would become well-known as the long-time head of CIA Counterintelligence, moving beneath the protective umbrella of his patron Allen Dulles, and involve himself in the early 1950s CIA-sanctioned MKULTRA experiments that brought him into contact with Federal Bureau of Narcotics ‘special employee’ Pierre Lafitte.”

Esteemed writer Kevin Coogan notes in his brilliant biography of political philosopher and white nationalist Francis Parker Yockey that “planning for Operation Gladio’s stay-behind network couldn’t succeed without Borghese’s tacit approval.” Writes Coogan, “The CIA then created an underground army of ex-fascist combat veterans in an operation codenamed “Operation Gladio” (Gladio being the name for a Roman double-edged sword).

According to Coogan, Julius Evola (who we now recognize was the inspiration of both Valerio Borghese and Stefano Delle Chiaie), was an admirer of Yockey, the top American fascist of the day who we explore later in this chapter, and Evola himself had become involved in the National Socialist underground SD (Sicherheidsdienst). In his book, Coogan claims, “Evola’s SD work at the end of the war is shrouded in mystery. Historian Richard Drake says that while he was in Vienna, ‘Evola performed vital liaisons for the SS as National Socialist Germany sought to recruit a European army for the defense of the Continent against the Soviet Union and the United States.” This organization was linked to the Otto Skorzeny underground National Socialist headquarters in Madrid and Buenos Aires.

Good news - thanks to Leslie, Robert, and others the term Nazi can be used in its historical context, but not as a political bludgeon. Thanks to Mae Brussell for first opening this sordid history in possible connection to the JFK assassination. So many intrepid researchers have exposed these global Nazi and fascist connections, and other than by a smallish group of initiated citizens their labors remain unappreciated. The American people remain blissfully unaware of their own fascist history. I’m reading a book now by one of these researchers, John Loftus, called ‘The Secret War Against the Jews’. I had no idea that the notorious Kim Philby’s father was a notorious figure in the history of Ibn Saud and his Saudi Arabia kingdom.
I was not aware of Francis Parker Yockey and his connections, or Julius Evola.
tha task before us is to connect the dots between our CIA and Military Industrial Establishment and this fascist group, which clearly predates WW 2 and includes all manner of American Industrialists, and the assassination of JFK, not only ideologically - no doubt about that - but mechanically too. One of the key places to look is in our Cuban operations. Related closely to that is JMWAVE and yes, Madrid.

Paul, we cover Yockey and Evola in some detail. Yockey is critical as he provides the glue from Willis Carto and General Walker. The Postscript to Coup then identifies the trajectory from 1963 through the crisis we now find ourselves in, and how Trump was the logical candidate to hold the hammer of the final nail in K's coffin. Trump backers, Breitbart/Bannon once lauded Evola's philosophies. Regnery Press whose dynasty got behind Trump early on, published works based on the philosophy.

I hope this thread doesn't boomerang back to Cuba and the Cubans in the investigation of the actual plot to kill Kennedy in Dallas, unless it is to understand and accept that Madrid was the base for planning Lancelot Project - NOT Havana or Miami - with a possible satellite cover in Haiti.

Is it possible THE Cubans and Castro were patsies? is it possible THE C.I.A. writ large was the patsy?

On a cultural-psychological level, yes, the anti-Castro Cubans and CIA as a structural organization are patsies.

However, a certain, small group of agency officials used the byzantine mechanisms of CIA to murder President Kennedy—just as certain leaders of the anti-Castro element weaponized the dizzying phalanx of competing anti-Castro organizations to maneuver mechanics in and out of the kill zone that was Dealey Plaza, using the same gunrunning and narcoterrorist ratlines that were utilized for targeting Cuba.

We shall see.

I'm looking for precise command structure for the machinations described.  I can't believe that Skorzeny would hand  responsibility for a battalion over to anyone other than those who had the most to lose.  For that reason, the November 19 entry, "Souetre to go overt with Jack C." may well mean Col. Jack Canon and not Jack Crichton as originally suspected.  This would position military trained Capt. Souetre and Willoughby's Z. Org Col. Canon working in tandem, each with their own kill team.   So, would Morales, responsible for the swamp groups having trained at Opa Locka and or Pontchartrain OR the property of the New Orleans guy whose name escapes me (see Fensterwald document), be read in on the strategy prior to November 22? If so, by whom?  No evidence Lafitte was in that communication loop, so the likely candidate is Barnes, right, or Bill Harvey?  And perhaps McCord enters the picture here under the auspices of the RAVEN entry in the datebook, a.k.a. Francis Raven, NSA encryption expert extraordinaire!

Next stop: Zagnew Station, Eugene Dinkin. pigpen cypher, Proctor in the desert with WerBell, Eritrea, Tom Davis, Philippe de Vosjoli.

Still a lot of loose ends.

What better place to park this.

Nazi's in America.  Involved in it's destiny.  Let's start with I was amazed years ago when I discovered the head of the development of NASA was Werner Von Braun.  Nazi developer of the rockets rained on London and much more.  Paper Clip, Rat Lines, South America too.  Much more.

Ben - now that you have labelled all the shenanigans, something many of us agree with, let’s get back to the historical topic itself.
I am truly shocked at the info John Loftus provides in ‘The Secret War Against the Jews’. I haven’t finished the book, but so far, and from other books Loftus wrote, I don’t think I’ll be disappointed in the remainder of the book. Do not confuse this author with another - John W. Loftus. This author was a former prosecutor for the US Justice Department’s Nazi hunting unit.

Imagine, if you will, if the President of the Untied States of America (Trump or Biden, doesn't matter) interrupted all media to announce to the world, that yes, President Kennedy was murdered by functionaries of the Holocaust, with the help of Mafia narco-terrorists and anti-democratic émigré commandos, all protected and trained by elements of your National Security establishment and every administration for sixty years has been engaged in a massive conspiracy of silence that involves the judicial system from top to bottom, and the direct disinformation from every powerful news media outlet representing both ends of the political spectrum.

And then the President of the Untied States of America (Trump or Biden, doesn't matter) said the murder was for the benefit of an international clique of corporate fat cats that profited from slave labor during the Second World War.

I truly believe that before he could finish his speech, there would be riots in the streets and foreign advisories and domestic malcontents would make immediate advancements to take over the United States, in the sure to be, ensuing civil war.

Just a nightmare scenario that I've been spitballing around in my head for a hot minute...

It would be blamed on "rogue CIA," and never cross that line.  Certainly not into territory that would inculpate foreign countries.  Then there would be a "sweeping" intelligence community reform, planned in advance like the Patriot Act.  They'd lose the CIA "brand."

Interestng, Dave.

The problem I have with this diversion from the salient information presented in the initial thread is that we're diving into "conspiracy theories" — broad speculation instead of sticking with what we know in the specifics.

The assassination of John Kennedy in Dallas was a highly contained, compartmentalized operation involving carefully chosen individuals with requisite skill sets held together by the bond of loyalty developed since the war, with a common ideology as impetus. This was NOT a "military operation" by definition; it involved military trained individuals in league with non-military. It was NOT a military coup by definition.

The historical context presented in Spies, Killers, Soldiers, and Ideologues…
is essential to understanding the role Otto and Ilse Skorzeny played in Lancelot Project, the plan to assassinate Kennedy in Dallas. In one conversation with a Lafitte family member, Hank was told that Leon Degrelle held such anamosity toward Kennedy that he insisted on "chipping in" on the expense of the Dallas plot.  Degrelle was not "military" at the time, nor was he serving in a military capacity. Let's please not use Albarelli's investigation to support a working theory filtered through confirmation bias, regardless of how sound the theory may be or how well-founded some of the research may be. The quest is to solve the cold case murder.

I was answering Robert's proposition in terms of public image realpolitik, as I've seen it practiced in this country.   This is my historical context.  Tangential to the specifics of your concerns, I know, but not in any way a "using" of Alberelli's investigation.

I was really speaking in the future conditional to Robert.  Sorry to offend any proprietary prerogative here insisted upon.

@David Andrews and @Robert Montenegro

I think I owe you an apology.  I was reacting to the diversion from what I hope might be a well-considered study of the specific historical context of Skorzeny, the Black Prince, and James Angleton which launched this thread.

Based primarily on the clues left by Pierre Lafitte, we're convinced that this particular triune (with the obvious requisite arteries) sheds light on why Angleton was so comfortable "outsourcing" to Nazi Otto Skorzeny the strategic plan to kill Kennedy in Dallas, and why both men would be entirely comfortable with Lafitte — who according to family members served in the Charlemagne Unit — acting as project manager.

This tight network, relying on shared history and driven by a common goal — democracy would remain an illusion until it was time (2016?) to unveil The Reich — succeeded in taking down President Kennedy in spectacular fashion and they got away scot free, until now.

The Lancelot Project plot involved a select number of men and women with shared histories and personal motives, e.g. specific individuals — not three letter acronyms or vast numbers of military and intel acting within official structure  — who donned their particularly unique caps of persuasion to play an active albeit discreet role in a highly compartmentalized operation.

When we veer into THE C.I.A. a.k.a. THE / OUR U.S. Government, or THE Military, or "rogue elements within" we risk, once again, derailing the cold case murder investigation.  I'm doing my part to try to prevent that from happening.

Why does this murder investigation matter? Our democratically elected US government as it should and can still be is under full-blown assault by the very authoritarian ideology that drove the decisions to remove Kennedy. Trump was and remains the Trojan Horse.  I hope you might take time to read about Trump advisor and miscreant Steve Bannon's admiration of Julius Evola — an inspiration to the Black Prince — or follow Sebastian Gorka's history in Hungary — to further grasp the continuity of the coup in Dallas.
