It's that simple. If you remove the blinkers, Cliff, you might learn something about how the world works from this short lesson taught to Piers Morgan by Professor Jeffrey Sachs: https://x.com/BGatesIsaPyscho/status/1825982159598874931

W. Niederhut
Folks, Has anyone else noticed that our anti-Democratic Hibernian hermit is an alleged environmentalist opposed to plutocracy? Has he figured out yet that Donald Trump recently promised Big Oil moguls to sabotage Biden's clean energy initiatives, and promised billionaires to cut their taxes again, in exchange for campaign cash? These are subtle clues, somewhat reminiscent of those experiments where chimpanzees have to stack boxes to reach bananas suspended from the ceiling. I'll address one matter Sachs mentioned. When NATO bombed the Serbs in '99 on behalf of the Albanian Kosovars it was apparent it wasn't about oil. In my due diligence I discovered the Albanian Kosovar Mafia ran heroin distribution in Europe at that time. The Serb Kosovars kicked a lot of their Albanian countrymen out of their houses. First thing the Albanians did went they got them back was check the roof for their H stash. My critiques are over your and Sachs' head.
John Cotter
Yep. The DNC euphoria seems to have passed alright. It seems to have been replaced by another kind of emotional incontinence.

W. Niederhut
Speaking of short-lived euphoria, there's breaking bad news for our pro-plutocracy Hibernian hermit... Nate Silver has just reported that RFK, Jr.'s endorsement hasn't moved the needle for the Felonious Skunk. Bobby's dwindling 2% were, evidently, already in Mango Mussolini's court-- i.e., the anti-vax MAGAs who survived the COVID pandemic.

True, I think John's greatest, and very often repeated, contribution to the forum was someone else's concept of "Phil Spector Dominance." Cotter asserted Spector's U.S. world dominance was so complete, the rest of the world might as well not even get up in the morning.

Well, Kirk, in fairness to our friend, John Cotter, Phil Spector's dominance did sort of ruin, The Long and Winding Road, with all of those syrupy violins. 🤥
