One answer would be......

because the whole story was an orchestrated

attempt to tar the Kennedy administration to a degree that

was designed by its creators to have been a 1964 version

of Watergate, with an artificial smoking gun.

The importance of Operation Tilt in 2011, is identifying

the linkages in "who was doing what and when."

Paul Bethel and Hede Massing seem a lot more interesting

now than in the past.

Especially Bethel, when you do the math on whose

names are associated with the American Embassy in Cuba.

If I recall Bethel was on Fonzi's short list as Maurice Bishop before he settled on Phillips.

And if my memory is still working, Loran Hall told Weisberg that visited Keating with news of the missles in Cuba.

That this operation most likely ended with the shooting of JFK, has sent many, many, "running for cover".

Somewhere, I read, that "John Martino" also mentioned that Oswald was in Miami. But no evidence of his claim materialized. I beleive that it was a friend of mine who said it on Facebook. Also,

Someone said that Pawley was connected to Regan and had nothing to do with Nixon, something like that. I can't find it now, but I thought Pawley and Eisenhower were good friends while Eisenhower was in office, and wasn't Nixon his VP? I also read somewhere that Pawley would on many occasions call Nixon on the phone. I'm assuming to talk, but I'm not sure if Pawley had to dial any letters to get connected.

This Paz, it is the name under "Bill Pawley" in the phone book page above, I'm not even sure if his first name really is Rafael, as I've already discovered some of the names in the book to be associated with alias.

I'm not saying it is, but if "Rafael" is an alias name, I doubt that the name Paz is? Not a very common name.

There was a militant Cuban exile named Rafael Paz. He was a close associate of Ramon Orozco who himself is a very interesting character. Both were connected to Alpha 66 and were busted running guns into Cuba in 1970. FWIW. JK

My father in his letter says, "I have information on exchange" and tells my mother in another letter about this guy Ramon Orozco, also says that a guy by the name of Osvaldo Coello was a radio operator at Kennedy's assassination. That is how my father spells his name in his phone book and writes (Radio Operator) under his name. And mentions that he worked for the CIA. I tried to up load the image but it says it to large and I'm not good at re-sizing it and re-posting it so if anyone is interested in sending me your email I'll forward it to you if you can put it up for other's to see. Ramon Orozco was one of Rip Robertson's guys back in the early 1960's and participated in several raids into Cuba with Tony Izquierdo. In 1973, Orozco was charged with violation of an order of non-departure and did a short stint in prison. JK
