  1. Mike, What does the trapezoid-shaped image in the upper right corner correlate with in the larger photo? --Tommy
  2. A question for J. W. King: Do you think the light colored station wagon at the corner of Record and Main, visible 45 seconds into the youtube video (below) of the Patsy Pachall film, is a Rambler station wagon? Thanks, --Tommy
  3. Tom, the information about Empire Wholesale Sporting Goods coincides with information that the late Gerry Hemming emailed to me a few years back. Hemming told me that, to discover where Oswald's pistol and rifle actually came from, I needed to forget about Klein's and Seaport Traders, and instead concentrate on a single source in Montreal. Since Hemming could be a bit of a BS'er--not unlike Mr.Von Pein--I nevr knew whether he was giving me good information or sending me out on a false trail. BUT if Hemming was correct--as opposed to the "could have" and "might have" and "must have" speculation of Larry Dunkel--it would certainly explain why certain documents sought by Jim DiEugenio and Gil Jesus haven't surfaced: it would be because they never existed to begin with. Of course, if Oswald DID obtain both firearms from Empire, it wouldn't necessarily rule him out as being the assassin of the two people he's accused of killing. It would only confirm that the Warren Commission and the FBI were liars...something the majority of Americans already suspect. maybe this can help...... http://jfklancer.com/carcano_twin.html Facinating link, Claudio. Makes me wonder if a certain John Thomas Masen did business with International Firearms Company or Empire Wholesale Sporting Goods, LTD "back in the day". Thanks, --Tommy
  4. Karl, I finally found a photo I've been looking for on Robin's great website, the JFK Assassination Forum, in the "Murray Collection" part of the photo section. It was hard for me to spot this photo there because it's part of a larger collage about the possibility of Babuska Lady's being visible in a small part of the photo. The dark-bodied car with the white top just to the left and behind this "Babuska Lady" is a Rambler. Of course, I do expect William King to disagree with me. LOL http://www.jfkassass...album=41&pos=12 FWIW, the dark-complected young man in the foreground with his back to the camera and his left hand raised to his ear is interesting, as well. Looks like he has something tucked under his shirt/jacket. Could it be a radio? Does anyone know the "identification number" of this Jim Murray photo? Could someone please post a bigger, higher-resolution copy of it? Thanks, --Tommy edited and bumped
  5. Thought I would bump this thread --Tommt

PPS Could someone please post a bigger, better copy of this photo?
  7. Thanks, Mark. Wish I had the technical abilities you have. Now if the camera-shy guy standing behind the dude with the pistol (Frank Sturgis) isn't LHO (and now I don't think it is) then who is it? Some Corsican brought in for "the job"? Roy Hargraves? Some other member of Interpen? I can easily imagine Sturgis' turning and telling the guy. "Get down! You're on camera!!" Which would suggest that this guy was one important dude, since Sturgis didn't want him to be photographed. --Tommy
  8. Douglas, I concur, wholeheartedly. Mark looks young enough to embark on a project that will probably take a few years, at least, to complete. Heaven help him (and us) if the government ever releases all of the pertinent documents. LOL. --Tommy PS: Too bad so many hard-to-find photos have been erased/deleted from the JFK Assassination Debate forum over the years...
  9. Ian, Sorry, but I don't understand the last part of your post. Wasn't JC already lying down by this time? Hadn't he already been wounded? And what do you mean when you say, "this is about where Mudd's statement explains geographically."? Please clarify. Thanks, --Tommy
  10. Greg , the picture you show is a crop from one of the Towner photos. Not sure the sequence number for it but I have seen it referred to as the "Towner Officer Smith" photo. Here is a scan of that photo from the November 24 1967 issue of Life Magazine. I have a copy of that magazine and with a magnifying glass I cannot see the little white line that is shown in your attachment that is situated in you attachment to look like an antenna. We need more information. Ok I just got some more information. According to my chronological ordering of photos, the above Towner photo was taken about 1 or 2 seconds before the first Rickerby photo. Here is that Rickerby photo. DCM is not talking on a radio. Mike, Probably more than just one or two seconds difference between the the two photos. Looks like DCM might have shifted the radio from his right hand to his left one. The limo has already disappeared from their view in the second photo; no reason for DCM to continue reporting on things going on down the street. In the second photo, DCM and "UMmm..." may very well be looking in the direction of a co-conspirator to see what's going on with him/her/them or to get a signal from him/her/them saying "OK, guys, it's ok to leave now." --Tommy
  11. Yes, Michael, I remberber Tosh's saying that. He also said that "Gator" was missing a finger (or two?). I wish that Tosh was still contributing to the forum. --Tommy
  12. He was there. The picture on the right is a picture of Witt , under oath, at the HSCA hearings. Looks like the same man to me. Mike, UM looks more like Roy Hargraves or Gordon Novel to me. I also think that Novel was "captured" in a film taken of LHO distributing flyers outside the International Trade Mart in New Orleans. DCM looks like Orlando Bosch or Filipe Vidal Santiago: . Photomantage provided by James Richards to the Spartacus website. --Tommy PS: Note the big rectangular bulge in DCM's windbreaker's left pocket in the very top left photo of Mike's post. Edited and bumped --Tommy
  13. You're right again, Mike. It was probably just an oversized copy of War and Peace. --Tommy
  14. He didn't walk among the crowd when he was walking down Elm Street. But he was "captured" tucking the radio into his back pocket or under his belt, and the outline of the radio is apparent under his windbreaker.. --Tommy

  17. This film must have been taken several minutes after the assassination went down, as there are so many people leaving the Grassy Knoll area already. The interesting thing is that this guy was filmed/photographed walking down the sidewalk (and the edge of the Grassy Knoll?) towards the Tripple Overpass just a couple of minutes after the shooting, so he must have doubled back, huh? Interesting. Wonder where he went in the meantime? Wonder where his car was "parked"? Maybe he's walking to a bus stop? Add: Interesting limp. Maybe he was a wounded anti-Castro "Bay of Pigs" veteran? Nah, he probably just sprained his ankle chasing after a suspect in the railway yard. --Tommy Expanded and bumped
