  1. Ed, Do you know if the reporters' interviews got published? Maybe they got "the message" and suddenly got "cold feet"... --Tommy
  2. Highlight may refer to: In photography, any of the brightest parts of a subject, in contraposition to "shadow" Again please try and keep up, it DOES change when he moves .... May the farce continue to be with you. [emphasis added by T. Graves] Craig, Really?? That's uhhh... "interesting". --Tommy
  3. Yeah, if there's one thing a paid/hired assassin would want to do, it would be to do something to his appearance to make himself STAND OUT and be MORE NOTICEABLE and MORE EASILY IDENTIFIED in case anyone might see him firing at the President. Personally, I think the light spot is either a bald spot or just the natural color of his hair in that area. But if it was made by some kind of chemical instead, then maybe it was put there, without his knowledge, by someone else. Hey! I have an idea! Maybe it's dust or drywall powder that fell on his head while he was firing at JFK from the "sniper's nest"! --Tommy
  4. Yes, they do. You are comparing a fully opened window to a half opened "Oswald" window, which is falseley creating an illusion that the "head" is taking up too much room Also note that The head of Bonny Ray Williams looks much bigger than the head of Harold norman. It's all an issue of perspective. Excellent point, Duncan. --Tommy
  5. Bald spot? Really? And you ruled out a simple highlight how?(color added by T. Graves) OK, fine, a simple "highlight" then, be it naturally in-and-of his hair, or put there by hydrogen peroxide or something else of a chemical nature. But obviously not because of the way the sun is shining on his head in the film, because it doesn't change as he moves. --Tommy P.S. Note how Tan Jacket Man, as he turns around and starts walking, hands something to the blue-coated Cuban-looking man... augmented and edited
  6. Craig, Please at least try to keep your sarcastic comments to yourself. --Tommy
  7. What utter claptrap, not unexpected coming from from Speer. IF the spot on tan jacket man is in fact a simple highlight from the sun, it's TRANSIENT. You do know what that word means don't you Speer? Craig, Where does Speer say that it wouldn't matter if the so-called white spot was just the result of the sun's shining a certain way on the dude's hair? He does say that it wouldn't matter if the white spot was "white in his hair" (emphasis added). I understand what Speer's trying to say, and I agree with him. --Tommy
  8. I don't know why there are so many naysayers here. It's more than a coincidence the way that man's hair is in the blow up and in the parking lot. Duncan has blown the image up to an extraordinary degree. I say his head is "big" because it's blown up so much so we can see it. And it's not Oswald. It's curious that the man had that weird bald spot. Maybe it served as an identification mark to someone else involved in the Assassination. And that bald spot or whatever it is shouts out at you. He might have been walking around waiting for someone else involved in the Assassination to give him a ride. Or tell him what to do next. He's probably dead now. Too bad we don't know his name. I guess he's not Mac Wallace. Kathy C (color="#FF0000"][/color] added by T. Graves) I've been thinking the same thing, Kathy. However, I don't think it's a bald spot. I think the hair on that part of his head is much lighter than the rest of his hair, either naturally or the application of hydrogen peroxide or something. Now here's a wild thought: Maybe it was artificially lightened and he didn't even know it. --Tommy
  9. Yes, Peter, he does. I am aware of the Rorschach effect, but even as Duncan admits, that would make it some coincidence. If it is the same man, I believe it the person seen by some 6th floor witnesses, stopped by Baker on the 4th floor, and ultimately, Tippit's killer. Looking at the Hughes film, to me, the man from about the 15 second mark, takes on a distinct Slavic appearance. This is why I think that may be important http://reopenkennedy...ppit-phone-call Specifically in regard to CD 1096 concerning the book containing the prediction that any attempt on JFK would probably utilize Hungarian sharpshooters... Hats off to Sean Murphy for the discovery of this man, and I hope he sees the comparison analysis posted by Duncan. I think some serious progress has happened on this forum. I want to thank Gary Parker for agreeing because I think he is an excellent researcher. This was no Rorschach test. I want to thank Duncan MacCrae and whoever Sean Murphy is. Oswald didn't do it. Kathy C I've recently started posting on the JFK Assassination Forum. Check out my most recent post on the "Re: Joe Tells A Joke" thread. There's a great cropped and stabilized clip from the Robert Hughes film on that thread (and at least one other one) which shows Tan Jacket Man interacting with a couple other suspicious characters. Thanks, --Tommy

Hats off to Sean Murphy for the discovery of this man, and I hope he sees the comparison analysis posted by Duncan. Greg, I totally agree with you that the Enhanced Sniper's Nest Man strongly resembles Tan Jacket Man And now for the bad news. No disrespect intended, Greg, but Hungarians aren't a Slavic people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huns http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavic_peoples FWIW, I'm 1/4 Slavic myself (Ukrainian), and about 15 years ago I taught "English Conversation" in another Slavic country (the Czech Republic.) To je skoda, (It's a pity); Je me lito, (I'm sorry), --Tomasek (Tommy)
  11. That's logical, Tom. Tom, please read your post #6 this thread to see what a mess it is. Fascinating but, unfortunately, a mess. --Tommy
  12. Seems safe to state that Tom and Robert Clark were mobbed up : http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=18178&st=0 Good stuff, Tom. The 1963 La Jolla Bluebbok doesn't show a Hal Collins, but maybe he had a vacation home here which wasn't listed. Or maybe Murchison was in town during the assassination and Hal and Pauline were visiting him? Or maybe a friend in La Jolla sent the telegram for them, but why go to all that trouble unless it was just to make it look like they were here? Couldn't find a listing for a Robert Clark or a Mary Ann Clark or a Mary Ann Collins, either, but I only had enough time to look in a few Bluebooks today, including the one from 1963. --Tommy bump
  13. Tom, Thanks for including that, Tom! I noticed that the list of footnotes is quite long (as, of course, one would expect seein' as how the subject matter is Jack Ruby). Pray tell, which ones do you recommend reading in regarding Hal Collins's connections to Ruby, the Mafia, the CIA, the FBI, etc etc? --Tommy (AKA: " The Lazy 'Researcher' ")

  15. Results from old La Jolla Bluebook telephone books: There was an Andres Cortes living at 7818 Fay Avenue, La Jolla, California in 1964-1965 and in 1966. No phone number given in the 1964-1965 book, just his address and name in the "Householder's Directory" in the back. He's not listed in the front "normal" part of the 1966 Bluebook either. It's only in the "Homeowner's Directory" in 1966. It was 454-5874. 7818 Fay Avenue was "transient" in 1963, whatever that means. I noticed that the "Homeowner's Directory" part of the La Jolla Bluebbok used the term "vacant" to describe unoccupied houses... --Tommy "Hombre afuera" is Spanish for "man outside" (or "outside man"), so it's a phrase, not a name. ("inside man" = hombre adentro") --Tommy

And the description could fit in with the Airport at Route 77 - which had a long stretch of the construction underway for Route 35 - the Lou Foote airport - which was not paved at the time, but all sand. I provided this information to Robert Vinson - however, he is not well. and it was of no effect. Robert - many thanks. I consider this thread a general dumping ground and sooner or later, something will eventually make sense.
