I wasn't aware there was another JFK Files release ? The link doesn't work and the last release I can see on the Archives website is the one from April 26th 2018 ?

I think the David Atlee Phillips book may be the unpublished one called The AMLASH Legacy.....There is a post on this forum from John Simkin saying Malcolm Blunt has a copy and made it available to Larry Hancock...

While looking up info about Jean Souetre and some of the assassination attempts on De Gaulle brought me to this French site. Clicking around the various pages out of interest I came across this one on a man who was involved in the Operation Chamois planned attempt on De Gaulle. What caught my eye is the first photo is one of the tramp photo’s from Dealey Plaza just after the assassination of JFK. I think it is reversed from the original picture but it’s definitely from Dealey Plaza on 22/11/1963. It could well be someone trolling but I thought it was kind of interesting in the context and thought I would share if anyone else is interested. The restoration of the Marie Muchmore film is from the National Geographic's JFK The Lost Bullet I believe Edit to add I might have misremembered that so I'll need to check later unless someone else knows

So why would Gerald Hill be so happy to plead the Fifth Amendment - from his own filing cabinet ?

Looks like someone has obtained Gerald Hill’s old filing cabinet and is listing items on Ebay..Not my auction and have no association I just happened to come across it and thought others might be interested. One listing is a letter from December 1963 about a rumour that he had spoken with Ruby on Nov 22 and denying same….The last image is apparently from a request for immunity in 1978. “He also knew Jack Ruby and would frequent the Carousel Club. Hi Paul On the New Document releases thread I posted about one about Sorrels which I thought was quite interesting in what it said about him and Hosty....I put the page numbers that are relevant in my post as not all of it is about Sorrels and Hosty The relevant bit is this one - Forrest Sorrels - bio and refusal to talk to the HSCA (pg 110 to 112) -written report by Sorrels on questioning of Ruby on 24th November 1963 and why Ruby shot LHO.(pg 113 to 116) -memo from May 1964 on the Cellar coffee house in Fort Worth (pg 117) -written report by Sorrels 30th November 1963 on the meetings and preparation for JFK’s visit (pg 118 to 119) -statement of Sorrels 29th November 1963 on the motorcade and hearing the shots “I heard what sounded like a rifle shot” (pg 119 to 120) -rough draft memo from Mr Griffin and Mr Hubert on meeting Sorrels 22nd March 1964 - thought this was quite an interesting read - He was unwilling to state that he thought Ruby was telling him the truth. Ruby’s entrance to the basement to shoot Oswald and mistakes in handling the transfer. “Sorrels stated he was present during the latter part of the questioning of Oswald and that he was of the opinion that Oswald was beginning to loosen up” “a certain amount of ill will between the Dallas Police department and the Bureau” “Mr Griffin asked Mr Sorrels if it was his understanding that Hosty would indicate that the story he would give the Commission was a fabrication and Mr Sorrels indicated that he understood it could be Hosty’s attitude.
