  1. FROM MY LATEST (FOURTH) BOOK "WHO'S WHO IN THE SECRET SERVICE" (2018), ALSO TO BE FOUND IN MY FIRST BOOK "SURVIVOR'S GUILT: THE SECRET SERVICE & THE FAILURE TO PROTECT PRESIDENT KENNEDY" (2013): From an FBI report dated 11/27/63: “At approximately 10:30 p.m. today a telephone call was received from a female individual who refused to furnish her identity. She advised she is a member of the local theatre guild and that on numerous occasions she has attended functions or speeches where Mr. Sorrels, Head of the Secret Service, Dallas, has spoken. She maintained that Mr. Sorrels should be removed from his position as he was incompetent and did not have the ability to protect the president. She stated he was definitely anti-government, against the Kennedy administration, and she felt his position was against the security of not only the President but the United States. During the time this individual furnished the information set out above an effort was made to determine her name and address however she declined.” [Signed] Inspector Tom Kelley Secret Service 9:20 a.m. 12/2/63.” [FBI RIF#124-10164-10019] --- I did deep research on Sorrels and all the Kennedy detail---see my first and fourth books. During interviews conducted on 1/28/92 and 9/27/92, the 90-year-old former agent refused to discuss the JFK assassination. Sorrels would only say, “The Warren Report stands.” Sorrels passed away 11/6/93. A short and angry exchange.
  2. Yes, I am still suspicious of those three. Please see my books:
  3. Hi, Jamey! Thanks! I did a lot of in-depth posting about this and related issues (on this forum) last year, so much so that several of them wound up in my "greatest hits" compilation of online articles: https://vincepalamara.com/2018/07/04/my-greatest-posts-and-videos-the-jfk-secret-service-in-detail/ See also my four books, especially my first and my latest (from 2018): https://www.amazon.com/Whos-Who-Secret-Service-Historys/dp/1634241819/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1520593855&sr=1-4
  4. Secret Service agent Ernest "Ernie" Olsson, Jr.- passed away 7/1/2019 + Secret Service agent Larry Newman- passed away 12/21/2017 Secret Service agent Ernest "Ernie" Olsson, Jr.- passed away 7/1/2019 I spoke to Olsson briefly- he said he didn't talk about those days. The only thing he confirmed was that he did speak to the HSCA. He grew up in Ames and graduated from Ames High School in 1950. Following graduation he continued his education at Drake University obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in 1955. Ernest met the love of his life Beverly May Scheuermann in 1951 and the couple was married in Ames, on June 15, 1952. The couple then lived in California, Arizona and Missouri and settled in Virginia where they raised their four children. Ernest was a Veteran, serving in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1958. Upon returning from active duty, Ernest continued to serve his country working for the United States Secret Service where he protected Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson, retiring in 1981. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/ames-ia/ernest-olsson-8765733 Secret Service agent Larry Newman- passed away 12/21/2017 I spoke to Newman at length a couple times in 2004 and he was a valuable source of information. He was one of the four agents who spoke to Seymour Hersh for The Dark Side of Camelot. After college, Larry completed basic training in the Air Force Reserves and was honorably discharged so that he could join the Washington State Department of Game. In 1960 he was appointed as an agent with the U.S. Secret Service. He served several prominent figures over the course of his 23-year career including service on the White House detail in Washington D.C. during the Kennedy administration, during which time he met his wife, Susan. Larry also worked with presidents Ford and Carter http://funeralinnovations.com/obituary/234791/Larry-Newman/
  5. Secret Service agent Charles T. "Chuck" Zboril 1936-2019 https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/naplesnews/obituary.aspx?n=charles-t-zboril&pid=193435668&fhid=6126 Chuck Zboril of Bonita Springs, FL passed away Saturday morning July 13, 2019. He was born March 6, 1936 in Detroit, MI to the late Charles and Anne Zboril. He has been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1998 previously residing in Rolling Meadows, IL. He was in the Marine Corps, discharged in 1958 and married Jean on July 12th of that year. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1962 with a degree in Police Administration. He spent 23 years as a special agent in the U. S. Secret Service and 13 years as Asst. Director of Security at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. He enjoyed life in Florida, golfing with friends, traveling and spending time with family. Chuck is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jean (Bowen) Zboril and their 3 children, Douglas (Marcia) Zboril, David (Lisa) Zboril and Donna (Mark) Vukelich. Chuck was also blessed with six grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Ryan and Anna Zboril and Zoe and Owen Vukelich. He is also survived by his brother, James (Betsy) Zboril. https://vincepalamara.com/2016/10/15/lee-harvey-oswald-and-chuck-zboril-served-together-in-the-same-marine-corps-unit/ CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE: One can sometimes not realize the ramifications of something written years ago and literally under their own nose until the right context comes about. Well, the context came last night in the form of a very predictable one-star review from former Secret Service agent (and dear Gerald Blaine friend and colleague) Chuck Zboril. I harken back to a famous line (one of many) in the Oliver Stone movie “JFK”, wherein Kevin Costner , after making a vital point buried in the 26 volumes of the Warren Commission, says (paraphrased) “but the idea gets shuffled around and the point gets lost.” TURN TO PAGE 121 OF MY OWN BOOK “SURVIVOR’S GUILT”: “Blaine even erroneously thought [SAIC Gerald] Behn was on the Florida trip, a testament to the frequency of his [Behn’s] trips with the president.” [author’s interview with Blaine 2/7/04] TURN TO PAGE 294 OF MY OWN BOOK “SURVIVOR’S GUILT”: “Zboril was sure that Kellerman, who wasn’t even on the Florida trip, was present in Tampa: “I thought it was Roy Kellerman, not Boring, in the car on the Tampa trip…that’s my recollection.” [author’s interview with Chuck Zboril 11/15/95] Beyond just the general credibility gap issues, by this specific “recollection” of a supervisory agent OTHER THAN FLOYD M. BORING having been on the Florida trip and having rode in the presidential limousine, these two fine gentlemen have, independent of one another, totally impeached ole Blaine’s book “The Kennedy Detail” even further: how can Blaine write so authoritatively that he heard BORING over the radio relaying JFK’s alleged instruction to remove Zboril and Lawton from the rear of the limousine WHEN HE CAN’T EVEN GET THE NAME OF THE ACTUAL AGENT IN CHARGE OF THE TRIP AND RIDING IN THE PRESIDENTIAL LIMOUSINE CORRECT? Likewise, how in the world can Zboril vouch for Blaine and his book when he, perhaps in an even worse case of “faulty memory”, ALSO CANNOT GET THE NAME OF THE ACTUAL AGENT IN CHARGE OF THE TRIP AND RIDING IN THE PRESIDENTIAL LIMOUSINE CORRECT…AND BORING WAS THE AGENT WHO ALLEGEDLY RELAYED THIS ORDER/ KIND ANECDOTE/ PRESIDENTIAL WISH (TAKE YOUR PICK) *TO* ZBORIL! in entirety: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fRNOHyJ_DA&feature=youtu.be

  7. Secret Service agent William "Tim" McIntyre 1935-2019. I spoke to McIntyre in 2005 (when he lived in California). He was one of the four agents who spoke to Seymour Hersh. https://www.gvnews.com/news/secret-service-agent-who-was-with-kennedy-dies-at-his/article_80973b48-c8e7-11e9-90fe-e3f1c1120ae4.html William "Tim" McIntyre, a Sahuarita [Arizona] resident and former Secret Service agent who was 30 feet from President John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated, died Sunday. He was 84. He will be laid to rest in Mesa on Thursday alongside his wife, Wanda Lee, and his daughter, Theresa. McIntyre had been with the Secret Service about nine months when Kennedy was killed Nov. 22, 1963, in Dallas. McIntyre, then 28, was assigned to the follow-up car behind the presidential limousine. According to his statement to the Warren Commission, which investigated the assassination, McIntyre was standing on the left running board behind agent Clint Hill when he heard three shots fired within five seconds. He saw the second shot hit Kennedy in the neck and the third strike his head. Hill ran to the limo and shoved Jacqueline Kennedy back inside after she climbed onto the trunk. McIntyre's son, Mark, said his father spent 20 years in the Secret Service, providing protection to presidents Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter. He also protected President Reagan while he was governor of California. Mark McIntyre, who lives in Sahuarita, said his father was a quiet man who took his job seriously and was good at assessing people. "He was a man of high standards and I always looked up to him for the honest person that he was," he said. Tim McIntyre spent four years in the Army as a flight instructor. He was working in the animal husbandry program at the University of California-Davis when he was recruited to join the Secret Service in Washington state in 1962. "Basically, they gave him a car and a badge and a .38 snub nose and said you have Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington. So he ran down a bunch of check forgers and counterfeit cases and stuff like that for a little while and was transferred to Washington, D.C., during Kennedy’s administration," McIntyre said. Growing up with a father in the Secret Service meant moving every two to three years. Mark, his parents and his three siblings were living in the San Francisco area when his father was assigned to the White House for a second time in 1975, this time as assistant agent in charge. "He was with them every day, he wrote their itineraries. He said it was very rare that any agents go to the White House twice," McIntyre said. With the exception of Johnson, his father liked the presidents he worked for. "What he liked about Ford is that he could climb into the limousine with him and sit next to him in the backseat and he was a regular guy," McIntyre said. "He would ask my dad, 'How’s your life?' He really liked that." As for Kennedy, McIntyre said his father was criticized in the 1990s when he shared stories with journalist Seymour Hersh for Hersh's book "The Dark Side of Camelot." McIntyre told Hersh he felt guilty for violating federal law for allowing unsavory characters, including prostitutes, into the White House to visit Kennedy. "While he held him in high regard as a president and a good negotiator with foreign countries, the Cuban Missile Crisis, that kind of thing, personally he was kind of put in the middle a few times by the president and he didn’t appreciate it," McIntyre said. Other agents expressed similar feelings. McIntyre was often in the background of photos of presidents and famous people, including Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and actors Omar Sharif and Annette Bening. Secret Service training is a lot different now than it used to be, Mark McIntyre said. Today, agents have an academy, he said. "My dad didn’t have that, he just learned by the seat of his pants," he said. He remembers his dad talking about how difficult the job was, especially at outdoor events when people were eager to shake the president's hand. "He said he’d wake up the next day just feeling bruised and his body aching and his ribs hurting because everybody would be trying to press on to the president and the Secret Service would be pushing them back," he said. When his children were older, McIntyre said his father talked openly about the Kennedy assassination and debunked many of the conspiracies and myths surrounding it. For example, Jacqueline Kennedy wasn't trying to retrieve her husband's skull when she climbed onto the back of the car, he said [this contradicts Clint Hill and several others!]. The Secret Service agents also didn't spent the night before the assassination partying [Clint Hill and eight other agents did]. His father was on a C-130 guarding the presidential limousine, McIntyre said [Huh?!?! That is news to me!]. Over the years, Tim McIntyre cracked counterfeiting cases and held several assistant Agent in Charge positions. When he retired in 1983, he was the Special Agent in Charge of the Seattle office. He then lived in the Redding, California, area for a time, working on his cabin, fishing and traveling. He fell in love with Arizona while visiting two sons. He lived in Chandler for a time. His father moved to Sahuarita about nine months ago after his health began to decline. He was living with Mark when he died. I would estimate that all three shots were fired within 5 seconds. After the second shot, I looked at the President and witnessed his being struck in the head by the third and last shot. McIntyre later courted controversy after featuring in an ABC television special 'Dangerous World- The Kennedy Years' in which he recalled upon first being assigned to JFK that he was taken aside by his shift supervisor Emory Roberts and warned of JFK's womanizing ways. "You're going to see a lot of s--t around here. Stuff with the president. Just forget about it. Keep it to yourself. Don t even talk to your wife. Roberts was nervous about it." McIntyre felt a scandal was inevitable: "It would have had to come out in the next year or so. In the campaign, maybe." He also felt compromised and angry at Kennedy's actions wondering whether it was "time to get out of there. "I was disappointed by what I saw". 8. I vividly remember showing an excerpt of black and white video from WFAA-TV (ABC) from 11/22/63 at the COPA 1996 conference in D.C. and people freaked out at the resemblance between Michael Paine and Lee Oswald. I know the (now retired?) researchers Barbara Lamonica, Carol Hewett, and Steve Jones all were majorly into researching the Paines and were among the throng who were most impressed with the M. Paine/LHO resemblance. I will never forget the "ooh"s and "ahh" s when I showed this film. Some non-researcher guy's comment there at the conference was classic: "who the hell cares? what's all the fuss. That's Oswald- big deal"--!!!! When he was informed that it was Michael Paine, he muttered "Jesus Christ!" The guy who actually visited Albert Bogard, the shooting range, etc. ? Hmmmm LHO:
  9. "FOUR DAYS IN NOVEMBER" is too dated and all black and white.
  10. "ASK NOT...THAT YOUR MOVIE WILL EVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY" hahaha
  11. Another crap movie: "RUBY" (1992) although, to be fair, Danny Aiello was good strictly from an acting/entertainment/ look-alike standpoint.
  12. Oliver Stone's movie "JFK", warts and all, will always be, by a country mile, THE best assassination movie. Full stop; period; end of story. "EXECUTIVE ACTION" was ok for the time, but it was very low budget and cheesy. Stone's movie is infinitely better. "PARKLAND" is almost unwatchable; a painful Lifetime movie feel to it. One great thing came from "PARKLAND", though: it killed Gerald Blaine's THE KENNEDY DETAIL movie!! Awesome!! Blaine's movie once had a super impressive website. Many Emmy-award winning (and even Oscar winning!) production people were involved in the making of the movie, including the LIFE OF PI animator and a host of others. I definitely did my part to kill the movie, too: I e-mailed director Steven "Jake-and-Maggie's-father" Gyllenhaal (copying Clint Hill and Gerald Blaine!) all the errors and outright lies Blaine and company were spewing...then, within a week or so, the movie website was massively streamlined to just Hill, Blaine, Mccubbin and a few other NON-noteworthy folks...and then the movie was dead on IMDb and elsewhere (it was to come out late 2013/ early 2014 at the latest). One of the people directly connected to the movie told me that PARKLAND bombing at the theaters was the main reason Blaine's movie went under, but my letter to the director was, quote, "troubling" and made him doubt the whole thing. Mission accomplished. ------ PAUL LANDIS: SUPER SECRET AGENT HERO? by Cantara Christopher I swear this is genuine. Paul Landis, one of the Secret Service agents on the Kennedy protection detail in Dallas who failed to protect the president from an assassin’s bullet back on that fateful November 22, 1963, has his own idea of how to start a picture. Got this personally from the director of the upcoming feature film The Kennedy Detail: “Stephen, I don’t know how you intend to open your movie, but I have an idea that I would like to run by you, not intending to intrude into your creative space. Just a thought. Please forgive any miss spelled words. I’m just going with the flow.” Paul (not Paulie) Opening Scene: Taking place while titles, actors ,credits, etc. burn thru in white. Start – Surround sound – Motorcycle engine starts – Loud – …Varoom. Then a second – same sounds – Varoom…Varoom. Followed by other sounds, cars starting, “Let’s roll”, voices, commands, close ups of car wheels starting to move, cycles shifting into gear, Presidention flag on fender, feet walking & starting to jog, all close ups & tight shots…lots of quick shots & cuts…people waving…shouting…fenders…cycle exhause pipes…flashers blinking…Clint/Paul exchanging glances…”Jackie, Jackie”…”Mr. President”…”Over here, over here Mr. President” etc., etc. More pix of buildings, people in windows…waving. Someone running towards presidents limo, arm extended…Agent looks at hand, quick flash close up…gun?…Knife?…finally a camera. Another Agent pushes person back towards crowd. the person tumbles…motorcade continues. All sorts of scenes taking place and building in intensity as motorcade reaches & continues down Main Street in Dallas. Finally, as motorcade slows & turns right onto Houston…sounds start to fade…crown thinning out…..camera scanning buildings, Plaza, overpass, etc. As other sounds fade out, an erie background sound starts to fade in. We are now going into slow motion as cars start turning left onto Elm St…Silence….Sound (Click, click…lock & load)…theatre audiance in suspense, silent, intence, waiting in anticipation. Everyone knows what is about to happen…silence……BAM…Screen goes White. Blank! Next Scene: Version of scene 12 – Paul getting shot, etc…Paul wakes up with a start…covered in cold sweat. (His idea of how it should have been). CUT Page 2, Scene 20 – WRHS (either 2010, age 75, or 2011, age 76). To be continued…………………………….
  13. Hi, Pat! I was there (I presented---video 1; my first ever at the ripe old age of 25). I have told Bart several times that there are still a couple more videos he needs to find. Regarding Harry Livingstone: "you ain't seen nothin' yet!" Harry does ANOTHER presentation and gets into it with a couple people; some true fireworks over Lifton (and Groden). Harry was a tortured soul: he did some amazing things (two major best-sellers [High Treason-twice + High Treason 2]; interviewed a lot of the medical evidence witnesses- I helped him video tape/ interview Jerrol Custer 11/22/91 and I drove him to Shelby, Ohio to interview Steve Barber for Killing The Truth), yet his paranoia and hatred of Lifton, Groden and the COPA/Lancer groups really ate away at him. I was horrified when Killing The Truth came out and he attacked Harold Weisberg and several other esteemed authors and researchers. It turns out that Fredonia was the only conference Harry was ever invited to! He "crashed" A.S.K. 1992 and COPA 1996 but did not formally present. Aguilar, Mantik and several others literally RAN when they heard Harry was there at COPA 1996!
  14. [interestingly, the 2-3 minute segment where Gemberling threatened to sue Oakes is omitted]
  15. Truly sorry to hear this. H.P. was a Facebook friend and we occasionally chatted. He was a heck of a writer/author and thinker.
  16. Yes. I confess that I merely cut and paste exactly what Matt wrote. I didn't think to double check it.
  17. Well, here’s mortician Thomas Evan Robinson. Alive! But...in jail. THAT’S why he can’t be reached. Variety of unspecified misdemeanors, bank fraud, trying to obtain property with worthless checks, etc. Total of 25 criminal charges between 2005-2015. Also had some motor vehicle infractions as late as 2018. Now, when he gets released, the question then becomes...How does one get in contact with someone who has lost their home and just been released from jail?? It would seem almost impossible to track them down then! Smh. [thanks to researcher Matt Douthit for this bit of detective work. Matt is still actively contacting and interviewing medical witnesses] HSCA taped interview TRANSCRIPT and wound diagram: https://www.history-matters.com/archive/jfk/arrb/master_med_set/pdf/md63.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0gM-ByY0OJXwT6Z-WJTPE3M7mbeN1P9mabJ_B3ygC5PBlb529CylFo2L8 8/8/91, 8/17/91, and 10/6/91 interviews with Harrison Livingstone for “High Treason 2” (pages 290, 580-581) 5/26/92 interview with Joe West: http://www.jfkmurdersolved.com/EMBALMER.htm?fbclid=IwAR1MUVUekIdRgNtJ6Cv2BuHnxa7yzwiguJMRVlhe_MRf0TRuD6jaKT0Wxg4 6/21/96 ARRB interview: https://www.history-matters.com/archive/jfk/arrb/master_med_set/pdf/md180.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0NX1VhRSR92_hQVKiwWXvqSjq8DsCwLITsQHW8CXvTFkjhvEzT3PpGeCI ARRB interview wound diagrams: https://www.history-matters.com/archive/jfk/arrb/master_med_set/pdf/md88.pdf?fbclid=IwAR1YfDf2rqndNkuKU6kId6woEbDeArJl1SzVF3A4fAgIbgaoW-kJO_6oamY
  18. Wilson and Custer both died in July 2000. Livingstone passed away in February 2015.
  19. Filmed by myself on 11/22/1991. When Wilson saw that I was video taping the session, he freaked out and demanded I take the tape out and erase it...I switched it with a blank tape and told him I did haha! I haven't seen this SINCE 11/22/1991.
  20. (Jim, your latest book is my very favorite) Ian was a great guy and both his book and his research was very good. His greatest achievement (in my opinion): showing that it was impossible to assemble the Mannlicher Carcano with a dime in any sort of reasonable time for LHO to have "done it." Also, even using a (never found) screw driver, the rifle would not have been usable because it was not SIGHTED IN.
  21. Some guy sent me this photo with this caption: "Vince!! The original George Hickey! Look at JFK's guard aiming the Mannlicher-Carcano at him!!!" Oh, Lord...
