Michael Moore complains because we didn't get a single payer system like most developed countries have. I complain likewise. In our lifetime, we will not see an improvement of the ACA by a Democratic admin. Trump's best riposte was to cancel the penalty for not affording a plan in the 2018 tax year. Affordability depends on income, regardless of our needs in spending that income on things we cannot afford to lose or neglect. So an "affordable" plan was mooted in the case of many Americans, myself included. My net income is entirely expended on pre-existing necessities, and has been for years. It is a choice of healthcare or insupportable loss, followed by lawsuits and bankruptcy. We are too large and too ill-paid a country to go without single payer healthcare. To say otherwise is to say that every taxpayer is expendable. I'm going to set up a gofundme.com page. Perhaps supporters of the ACA will care to donate.

She had a potential career making Broadway musical on the line and like her mother she forked over the cash. However, she didn't get the part in that musical (after the manager told the producer of the play she was a liability) but eventually got to star in the film adaptation which she won many awards for. #3 - Many people forget that this alliterate A+++ list actress and sex symbol was a client of the manager. She indeed was, towards the end of her life. It abruptly ended after that Chicago mob boss had his goons, on order of the manager, take pictures of the actress drunk and passed out on a vomit-filled floor. The photos were taken a few days after the dalliance between the actress and the high ranking politician. Thankfully she had help in stopping the pictures from leaking. I wouldn't trust the press not to conflate Huber's statements about two different wounds into one wound, especially if the reporter was rushed and emotional, or Huber was emotional and indistinct. On the other hand, a small temple wound may have seemed "terrible" to the good father, seeing it on a young and famous man recently murdered. The fact that a priest giving last rites said anything to a reporter about a president's body suggests Huber was upset. Either way implies that the temple wound wasn't "terrible" by objective medical standards.

I suspect that the audience for network and cable-network TV with commercials is in the boomer demographic, and may include younger people who are not internet oriented, or at least not attracted to CT on the internet. (Their vices being Zillow, Ashley Madison, and good ol' free porn.) So the MSM is preaching here to a choir seeking comfort and relief, chemical or political. I can get non-conspiracy blather on any street corner. Why would I come here for it? I wish they still had store windows full of TVs playing day and night. I could stand there drooling like a feeb over the non-conspiracy news.

Part of it may have been that the FBI had documents available showing that Marcello had entered the US illegally through Guatemala, and so could be swiftly deported there, But I agree - why do it if Marcello did not compel the DOJ's attention? Plus it was a shortsighted move by RFK, since Marcello was, after a little inconvenience, returned to the US by his or his peers' soldiers, and his operation was not appreciably dismantled in his absence.

The thing to remember about Nagell is that he'd been burnt many times. that he felt used and undercompensated by the government even before the JFKA, and that he responded to absurd, murderous situations with a trickster's absurdist humor. He was like a character out of Catch-22 come to life. (You can see all these aspects of Nagell, plus his intolerance for corruption, in the several document batches Malcolm and Bart have put up.) To Nagell, a journalist like Dick Russell, who was in those years just developing a political stance against conspiracy, may have seemed to be either one more con-job put upon him, or one more dead-end outlet for his experiences. Nagell had been through Garrison and Richard Popkin with little profit to him. I don't fault him for wanting to profit: he played a game of Chicken with the government and the intelligence services to gain minimal financial support, and have access to his kids again. He was nearly killed more than once for this. The real test for Nagell would have been an appearance before the ARRB, which Dick Russell helped to arrange. Had he appeared, we would have more knowledge of the JFKA, and a better sense of closure on Nagell's character. With all the problems negotiating Nagell's obscurities, I still give Nagell's revelations the great benefit of the doubt.
