Richard- The national-security establishment’s assassination of President John F. Kennedy was one of the pivotal events in our lifetime, and it continues to have an adverse impact on American life today. This conference will be oriented toward people who are not well-versed in the assassination and who wish to gain a deeper understanding of it. The conference will present an easy-to-understand introduction to what happened and why. Consider it a primer on the Kennedy assassination. Attendees will learn about President Kennedy’s foreign policy and how it was so different from that of both his predecessors and successors — and why the Pentagon and the CIA considered it to be such a grave threat to national security. Attendees will also learn about the fraudulent nature of the autopsy that the national-security establishment performed on the president’s body on the evening of the assassination and how it leads to an understanding of the assassination itself. The conference will consist of a weekly series of online presentations by various speakers, beginning Wednesday evening, March 3, and continue every Wednesday evening through April 21. By the time it is over, participants will have a good grasp of what happened on that fateful day in November 1963 and why it is so critically important today. Admission: Free. For more information about the speakers and registration, please visit the conference website. Find Out More

Last Wed.'s presentation by John Newman was very good. He showed how the military told JFK that the South Vietnamese army (ARVN) were performing well against the Viet Cong, because they (Landsdale, Lenmitzer, Krulak, etc) felt that JFK was more likely not to end America's commitment to South Vietnam with this untrue positive picture . Meanwhile, through a back- channel to LBJ the military was telling the truth- it would take a lot more American troops to turn the communists back . Newman also showed how badly JFK felt about the Diem assassination. I liked the last page the best- Newman believes (as of last Wed.) that the murder of JFK in Dallas was a coup.

CIA Chief Says Oswald Was Soviet Agent
Chuck Schwartz replied to Benjamin Cole's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
Benjamin, on your pet theory, who was Del Valle and others working for? Who approved their hit(s)? The US military would have known of the CIA plot and maybe they took JFK out ( or approved it)? -
Matt Novak wrote this in Gizmoda in 2017: " So how did we start to attribute this phrase to JFK and his attitudes toward the CIA? The first attribution of this quote to President Kennedy comes from a story in the April 25, 1966 edition of the New York Times. Notably, this was almost three years after Kennedy’s death: So did Kennedy say it? Possibly. The only attribution we have is an anonymous source from the Kennedy administration by a New York Times reporter three years after Kennedy was assassinated. I’ve found no record that pre-dates 1966. It’s not exactly like he said it in a public speech or even to a reporter directly. The Truman quote comes from a December 22, 1963 article by former president Harry Truman himself in the Washington Post, published just a month after JFK’s assassination and has been used as fodder for conspiracy theorists who think that the CIA killed Kennedy. Kennedy was clearly frustrated with the CIA after the Bay of Pigs fiasco. But as far as verifying a quote is concerned, this one from JFK isn’t rock solid. For all we know, this anonymous official was using his own words (leaning on a common phrase, of course) to relay the emotion that Kennedy was trying to convey at the time.

Earle Cabell met Jack Crichton at Texas A and M. ( they were friends in college) Also, LHO was killed trying to leave the City of Dallas Jail. He was supposed to go to the County Jail. Earle Cabell had jurisdiction of the City of Dallas jail, but not County jail- that is why LHO had to be killed before he left the City of Dallas jail.

Charles Cabell reported to Allan Dulles for 9 yrs. in the CIA and when JFK fired Dulles for the BOP , he also fired Charles Cabell. As a sidebar, the grandfather of Charles and Earle Cabell, William Cabell, was a general in the confederate army. William moved his family from Arkansas to Dallas in the 1870's.
