  1. The problem is Ben, you can't see beyond your nose. You're tough talking here, all the while you've said in the past "but for the grace of God go all of us". i suppose it's just beyond any possibility that you'll find yourself coming back to the country you were born in and try to collect Social Security or Public assistance and find it's not there, or cut by drastic amount. But even if that doesn't happen in your life. You shouldn't begrudge your contemporaries and others of us from collecting out of what we've put in all of our lives. Ok, you can argue , you don't vote. So it doesn't matter. But your choice in this issue is clear and you're confusing it with your usual, globalism and deep state foreign polices and hated personalities, but you should really be more informed. There is a real conspiracy, a formidable, well financed group of wealthy people whose aim it is to bring down the "administrative state"to a level before you were born and this danger is greater now than it's ever been during our lives. And your refusal to really look and listen to others just plays right into their plans, and you end up betraying all the sympathies you're always proclaiming for the little guy.
  2. Chris, I should tell you, that I did like your historical primer on inflation. I knew it would probably end up with something like parents being so strapped that they end up selling their children as slaves. But the general message is sound economic principle. If governments print too much money, there will be inflation. But I'm not sure how applicable that is to modern times, though they've been saying there's to be a day of reckoning about all my life. All the western economies have been cumulatively overspending all your lifetime and yet interest rates has steadily come down for the last 40 years. A lot of it is demographics, but that's another matter. In the last 20 years they've sometimes flirted with zero% interest rates! A lot of what is happening now is Fed hubris as in the U.S. they've managed to control inflation so well over the decades and they thought they were successfully dodging a potential catastrophe with the Covid pandemic and were in denial, when they should have started tightening a year ago. Now they're in a mad dash to catch up and there's a fear they could further upset the world economy with tightening shocks and bring on a big recession. But right now bad economic news is good news to them as evidence that they are slowing the economy down, which will bring down inflation. The Trump appointed head of the head of the Fed, Jerome Powell is a Republican whose primary target is now to bring down wage inflation and take back some of the gains the workers have made. So in the intermediate term, It doesn't look good for the working guy. But as you know, the world is freaking out about inflation. It's interesting to see people are finally getting hep to the trickle down theory. As newcomer ideologue Liz Truss actually reacted by proposing tax cuts to the rich, then bond yields went sky high the pound plummeted ,and then she reversed herself, which doesn't inspire confidence either, and now it looks like she's heading toward an early Brexit , right? heh heh Whether the Fed should even exist is another question, but it's so steeped in by now. I can tell you that all of us who would like to see it gone are not at all prepared for the total economic collapse that would have to happen to see it gone.
  3. Yes, or they never remembered it. The average voter doesn't have a lot on the ball. People think in short term, and right now the headlines are about the effects of inflation. The Republicans are trying to paint the Democrats as too insulated to care about it, and that general message works well, as you can already see with Ben. They can also say that Biden at the beginning of the year, at first said inflation was just a blip, But then you had Putin invade Ukraine and set off oil prices. I don't think the public perception would be half what it is right now, if that didn't happen. But he should take credit for record unemployment. Even though the people who have most benefited from that are not particularly good voters. He also busted the pharmaceutical companies to allow collective bargaining for Prescription Drugs, which you would think would go well with the elderly Fox voter demographic, but they don't vote in their interests. That's why the Dems should get Bernie to go on Fox. He did very well there, the last time when he was running for President. Because if those viewers don't particularly feel the Bern, they do feel the burn! heh heh Why isn't he? Also midwest centrist Democrats in purple states like Klobuchar. The only one whose doing that now is Buttigieg , who comes off much more impressive than the great majority of their guests.
  4. Andrew, That's because to mention the economy is poison for the Democrats and they'll be hit over the head with it. The broad economics are 2 years front loaded anyway, so Biden's not to blame for inflation, but in this case, Trump isn't either. Most of Biden's current stimulus is way in the pipeline. For temporary relief. I don't know why Biden didn't do a windfall profits tax on the oil companies and cut the citizens a check. He's got nothing to lose. He's already the least popular President with Wall Street since, probably Jimmy Carter
  5. The only reason this " Ruth forced Lee into a lower paying job to put him in the TSBD?" hypothesis even gets out the starting gate is Ruth's supposed choice made for a lower paying job for Lee. But there's no evidence that any wage was disclosed or why it would be! Also the job search was over! It seems to me, what is at best a 20% probability hypothesis is passed off as an almost certainty.Once something is pushed as a certainty here, its hard to dislodge it. ( like Ruth actually being the source of the lead?) And to extend on that, Jim, we're to share your belief that obviously Ruth was being coached. And of course, extending on that, when Oswald is accused of killing the president. Wouldn't a light bulb go off in Ruth's head that she's been coached to keep Lee in the TSBD? and why? At that point, she has to divulge who her handlers are, or she could be seen as an accessory to the killing of a President. And you're asserting she made a conscious choice to side with her handlers. I would assert according to your theory, not only is Ruth in way over her head, but you're in way over your head having adopted this theory.
  6. Damn Joe, I guess at least it's good that it isn't your heart though?. Well good luck with that. i would hope they can at least give you something to relieve the pain. In regards to what we were saying. Yes i think it is Humboldt U. radio. So it's Thom Hartman and those 2 guys from Madison Wisconsin right alongside Sean Hannity on the radio dial. But they didn't change out KNBR. I like sports, but not all the time. I've taken trips to the 4 corners. It's all right wing there. Even in the Mojave, LA talk radio is all right wing.
  7. I had thought that the elevators were down at the time in question, and the only available path was the stairs. Then I see here and corroborated by LNer DVP, if Garner had been situated in the right place, she could have heard approaching and seen anyone descending or ascending the steps. She notes Adam and Styes leave immediately. Since they are all aware of events on the ground , that would make sense, as that is where anybody would want to be. But it does take a little time to realize what the events on the ground truly are and converse as to get a consensus. I would say about a minute could be right.. Though I'm not aware how long it takes to get to the staircase. So Adams and Styles leave and. Garner did see Baker and Truly, shortly afterward, but we're not aware if she had seen anybody else in that short time period? Obviously a big problem is that they never sensed the shots were fired from their building, so there was never a reason to pay close attention to monitor the activity. Regarding Adams and Styles, they were with each other the entire time in question, right? It's obvious establishing this timeline and testimony was absolutely critical and has been given very short shrift. And of course the ending. Yikes! Gotcha!
  8. Jim, How do you know, by the time she was asked, she just didn't forget? She already spent a considerable amount of time getting Lee a job. And she had just got him a job, right? Why would she even be told the wage? You have no proof she was. For example, Why couldn't she just have been tired of trying to find Lee a job, and then be relieved she no longer has to find this guy a job, and lose interest, and not pursue it? Or lose interest, Then months later, after hours of intense questioning , she gets defensive and fumbles when she finds that her neglect was being turned into a motive when confronted? There's a lot of possibilities.
  9. Matthew, so the Democrats are proud baby killers? Wow I didn't l know. I guess we have to face the truth.. What about the Clinton's and the Biden's?
  10. Doug, having known him. You might like this. A trifecta from 5th amendment hobbyist Roger Stone First all's not well on the way to Mar a Lago. Roger says: Jared's got an Iq of 70 and Ivana Trump is "an abortionist bitch"! I thought Stone and his wife were big swingers! Obviously being pro life in no way limits your lifestyle. https://twitter.com/i/status/1580933032957317122 Incidentally Roger Stone been shown extensively with an oath keeper whose pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy. Here's he's rallying his troops before 1/6. Jan 6 committee shows Roger Stone calling for violence ahead of Capitol attack Stone giving out the game plan for the upcoming election.. Footage shows Roger Stone predicting violence ahead of 2020 election
  11. Chris Hedges: Yeah Ron, my brother's into him, and i checked him out for awhile. He has an interesting take from the journalistic side. Religious, moralistic. But he is depressing. I just look at his picture and I get depressed. So it works. (chicken or the egg?) Now I see Chris with the "Societal Collapse". Apparently everything's going to sh-t across the pond. I'll check it out. At least, it's not like an hour. I can de depressed, if i have to, for 10 minutes!
  12. Snl, now. How mundane. You've been fantasizing about people from California ever since? Matthew, you sure had titanic hopes. When you first came here. Weren't you going to leave us spellbound when you delivered your historic numerology seminar? And Your very words would be so powerful., you'd never have to even show us your face. Oh well. why not try it out on an occult site? What happened? I hate to say it, but I did predict it. Was it my first post to you? And Matt's right about Pool. Matthew, As a bachelor, you're going to have to learn. Don't mix colors! heh heh This rarely happens. They're very good at separating whites from colors
  13. Nobody's trying to play up anything. They were taken to another building. You're not even aware of the story that they all got taken out of the Capitol and photos show Mike Pence came within 40 feet of the rioters? Are you aware they broke into her office? Since you call yourself a proud Catholic, do you just laugh at that fact, and proudly proclaim you "own the libs?' Matthew's choices to impress us.. Definitely Matthew is the first person to make a serious post here extolling the virtues of the Senator from Louisiana, Captain Corn Pone, John Kennedy which assures all you have to be is an old folksy southern boomer talking tough on crime to appeal to millennial Matthew, who you'd think would be more compassionate about Pelosi and Congress getting their offices ransacked because Matthew's estates have now been robbed many times forcing him to now move down to his Mexico home temporarily. Right Matthew? heh heh Incidentally what grade gringo actually settles in Vera Cruz? Are you hoping to catch a freighter going to Panama City? We as baby boomers, maybe can feel secure as long as we keep Kennedy's "tough on crime" formula. which does have unique appeal to Republican wannabe millenials and that might be the key for baby boomer rule for at least another generation! Then when Matthew is feeling a bit racy, and defiant, and fathoms himself as a Civil War Maga Republican. He likes Tim Pool, whose biggest fear is if he dares to take off his ski cap, the FBI will track him down! Tucker Carlson?, how mundane. Isn't he sort of the halfway house for young people who started out with Alex Jones, and now realize they've got to go out and get a job? heh heh Matthew Bromance item Tim Pool! Whoa!
  14. This is film of Pelosi 82, and Schumer, (the heads of both houses in Congress). sequestered during 1/6 and asking for help over the phone to evacuate the rioters, and trying to ask the President to ask the rioters to leave and facing what will be passed off as bureaucratic delays! Then finally a phone call with Pence saying the rioters have been cleared and they should be able to proceed with the certification in an hour.
  15. Re: Gabbard, Ben I wasn't aware you've recently become "born again" and were pro police from your compassionate stance toward the police on 1/6? Do you know she also said the Democrat Party is anti police and anti religion?? Early on in her career she was a gay hater but she found,...... whatever it is religious gay haters find and moderated her stance, though that might not mean much to you. She actually ran for President in 2020. The conspiracy community thought they could make her their candidate, but she'd have none of that. She's very limited as a candidate but she would have been ok on some fronts. I'm reminded in a Dem 2020 debate when there was 15 Dem candidates and 6 women among them and it had to wind down to fewer candidates, and the pundits beforehand said what I thought was a rather sexist comment, that 2 of these weak dem women candidates , like Gabbard and Kirsten Gillebrand (who I never forgave for running Al Franken from Congress!) are going to have to eliminate the other to survive the next round. The debate started and sure enough, Gabbard interrupts Gildebrand and starts ripping her. It looked so contrived and forced, and it was like she took a page from these pundits, and I was sickened because I never want a pundit to run any debate! And sure enough, they ended up destroying the paltry 2% rating they each had coming into the debate.
  16. Ben, thank you for sharing a glimpse into your thought process.
  17. This has become rather boring and repetitive. I don't begrudge anybody who doesn't think the U.S. or Nato should be contributing weapons to this war. But there's been an unmistakable trend of excusing leaders for their actions that's started with Trump being helpless before the U.S. "deep state' and now it's being done with Putin who was "left no choice" by the American Exceptionalist deep state. Now we have Jeff, who was repeatedly assuring us during the Russia military build that there was no way Putin would invade and this was all for show as if he was our forum "inside man " to Putin. I thought at the time, maybe Jeff know something and I was hoping to God he was right. Of course he wasn't and typically the phase where Putin is condemned for the invasion is skipped altogether and then the American Exceptional deep state made poor Vlad do it. Early on, every one here seemed pretty moderate in the prospect of U.S. involvement in the war, except I did find Ben's persistent warmongering toward U.S. escalation rather off putting. It would be interesting for you to see the reaction that I've seen recently in Easter Europe. There's absolutely no trust for Putin. There is fear of further invasion, and an expression that they are just glad they're not being invaded. This fear wasn't as prevalent in Western Europe, as there's been quite a buffer zone for a long time and fears were always discounted just as we were all in disbelief when Putin finally invaded. Of course historically Europe can never build lasting peaceful relations, and have always messed things up requiring the U.S. to get involved and become the balance of power and contrary to what anyone says, they were never relishing that role, but by default became the Western superpower. The present world situation for the last 50 years is the one major world superpower spends way too much on defense. In that country, there are 2 parties. One party is aggressively expansionist and has waged 3 major costly wars in the Middle East with great cost of lives and human displacement and the other party has mopped up 2 of the wars, but rather slowly so as not to appear soft, which politically is an obsessional American no no. Currently the Democrat's base will not allow the party to get in a prolonged war where Americans are brought home in body bags unless there's a great justification and there's only been one such a justification in 50 years as the Democrats voted against both the Bush wars but voted for the invasion of Afghanistan after 911, because there's no way the U.S. would have just let that happen without retaliating. Guess what, the world you live in isn't perfect. you can sit on the sidelines and criticize, like you've probably always done. So you want world peace? World peace lovers in America, Canada, Europe and the world at large. At this time, what singular party in the world is your best shot for world peace?
  18. IMO, This is errant thinking. The "U.S. foreign military policy establishment" of 60 years ago is almost an anachronism and has morphed into the U.S. corporate state, which is loosely part of a world corporate state. Things have been going well for the corporate state over the last 40 years and the corporate state has no desperacy at all to bait Putin into a War in Ukraine. You keep harping on this Ben. In fact they didn't want him to do it. Their goal is to continue to perpetuate their status quo and continuity. Similarly, they had no real desperacy to replace Putin. To them economically, he's just a small dictator on a soap box who badmouths them, but is of little consequence except for his oil reserves, in which they share mutual business interests, which were going fine. Now with the Ukraine resistance, and the Russian military failures, they are faced with the potential windfall of Putin being replaced, which for them is a giddy prospect, but is approached cautiously because just as there was no guarantee where this war would lead (and still isn't) and still there's no real guarantee where that will lead. The corporate state is not a conspiracy per se. They just think alike.
  19. Max: Ruth mentioned that her son had power of attorney for Michael Just as I surmised. That's why they're "under the same roof". These last 2 pages have been another wild goose chase. Just like assuming an employment counselor is going to reveal details , such as the wage at the airport job to a stranger over the phone? Probably not likely. People are entitled to have their own charges about Ruth Paine, whether they could hold up in a court of law or not, which they clearly can't. But that doesn't matter. I believe there are people who are guilty, though my case might never hold up in court. Half of this I already posted, with no real response to any of the questions I asked. I don't need a regurgitation of every suspicious thing the Ruth Paine has done for the umpteenth time. Please answer the questions that are designated with a question mark.? I only use Jim Di because most of the details from Carol Hewitt I learned from him. But what Di Eugenio has at least alleged, is that Ruth Paine found herself in an unwitting plot to assassinate the President and then chose to plant evidence for the plotters. If a person when confronted with that dilemma, was given the choice, then chose to go and aid the conspirators, they would then become an accessory after the fact to the killing of a U.S President. That's not an unwitting accomplice. That's a very conscious choice, and a very serious allegation. These elements of the research community seem to have settled in a safe perch where they can take pot shots without substantiating their theories and it's implications at all, and that allows it to be greatly ambiguous. There's a lot of ground between someone under some pressure and maybe not telling everything they know and consciously aiding the plotters. You better be sure you know what you're talking about. Here I'll just take this "unwitting accomplice" narrative and merge it with the story RP's alleged spy work in Nicaragua which is a story that has been recycled for the maybe hundreds of times here in the past. To believe this story, you're supposing that Ruth retains her position as a CIA asset, even after you allege her being an unwitting asset in what many believe here is the greatest coup ever engineered in the history of the U.S. If you really think RP was a spy. Do you have any idea what being that entails? It's actually a clandestine life style. Are you familiar with the term, "spycraft"?" Is the CIA wise to use such an asset with such a blown cover in their escapades to forward the Contra War in Nicaragua? If RP was somehow exposed in that role, as an asset of U.S. Intelligence, wouldn't it just a beeline to her involvement in the JFKA case, and open up that whole mess? A mess that people, including Di Eugenio here are claiming the CIA brought down a U.S. President over? Causing the first President in the history to resign because of his alleged knowledge of the JFKA? Why in the world would they take a chance of letting Ruth Paine run amuck in Nicaragua? Would such an agent really be out in the open writing copious notes, particularly with her previous exposure? Or would she probably do so in her own private moments before she went to bed for example. What kind of spy does that? Doesn't that strike you as a little phony? So you think they were smart enough to a engineer coup to kill the POTUS? and stupid enough to let this accessory to the fact do this? Jean Paul:I don’t even think I understand why she did it this time ? Are we supposed to see this as a challenge, from a 90 y.o. person ? Really ? Is this like "Oops, she did it again" .... ? What's happening ? Let's look at her profile over the last 50+ years. She's 90 and she's actually going to go to Dallas for the 60th anniversary! What intelligence asset would do that? How foolish would she even be to go participate in the televised mock trial only to have people here chime in and castigate RP for "not liking LHO" (as if that means anything!. Is this a professional relationship, or a personal vendetta?) No matter what you think of RP, whether it''s a traitor, a spy, an asset, or a woman taking on a room mate. Who in the CIA or "Deep state" would advise her to do that? But in order to make this story plausible, they have to portray RP as some wacko rogue CIA ideological zealot, who would ignore any sound clandestine protocols and inject herself into ongoing JFKA controversy again and again. Does it really make sense? Ok that's my judgment, but it seems, for the reasons I stated that when you're down to making that one of your major arguments, you're really grasping at straws. *****
  20. I'm not sure how many abortions Herschel Walker has been party too, All the while campaigning that abortion is a crime against any exceptions of rape and the mother's health. But this is truly funny but sad. Tom Coton and Rick Scott go to Georgia to help Herschel Walker's faltering campaign. Obviously Walker being totally tone deaf to his recent hypocrisy launches into a story about a stud bull looking for greener pastures to impregnate. As he starts the story , watch the reactions of the 2 Senators and their fear of where there that story will go. What's sad about this is the lengths the GOP will go to win in the election. They'll literally say any lie and endorse anybody! Whew! But top it off with a little American Exceptionalism, Everything be cool!
  21. W's completely right, John. Maybe that broad brush stuff appeals to you. But Chris, upon any scrutiny has absolutely no nuts and bolts understanding of current political realities, and maybe has no aptitude so he's not at all curious, but content to pontificate in broad strokes a repetitive dystopian theme of generalized mass psychosis, which he then projects on people who have developed viewpoints other than his own. But.when asked in real life, what he wants, he's completely inarticulate and evades. That requires a bridge too far. Chris, Oh, I've never heard of "divide and conquer" before. (Just like I've never read "1984" and "Animal farm", which were required reading when I was in high school.) I agree it's a success, as evidenced here by how clueless people are about the nature of the enemy, and the priorities you must have to sustain an opposition, and I include you... Matthew, it appears now, has no nuts and bolts understanding either, but at least to my thinking, has a sense of humor. Though the relevancy of his memes and chosen commentary vary greatly. As for your photo, Matthew, it is mesmerizing. I can't see any facial features but your very presence is so enlightening I feel compelled to offer you the lead role in my newest project. It's a film biography of Mr. Peanut. heh heh
  22. Joe's right , Paul. It is very expensive, but money's no object to the Paine's. i lived the vast majority of my life in California. and people from the East have been coming out here all my life. and whatever you hear, they actually still do, but now they're people from throughout the world, and they're driving up property prices.. The same place? From the article . Michael lived with his son, I would estimate within 20 miles of Ruth's retirement home until he became senile, then I assume he moved into the same facility probably for the reason I mentioned, convenience for their son. I've been in such facilities, some people are lucid, like Ruth, some are committed by their family, and enter because they're experiencing dementia like Michael, and many become increasingly demented as their stay lengthens. I currently live within 25 miles of my daughter, and if I chose to move to New England,(which I don't) I would live near my son. So I don't find this at aIl unusual. Michael previously first lived out in Massachusetts, presumably near his daughter, as that is shown to be where she was at his death. Just a guess. Max! Would you give us your insights into Ruth and Michael's relationship that you may have witnessed? Or any other relationships either one of them might have had. Inquiring minds want to know!
  23. It's called assisted living. It's not "living together". After my Mother died, my Father was at such a facility before he died. Often the family, often the kids, and there are 2 of them, made a decision that the Father was starting to degenerate. Losing his memory (below) is a sign of degeneration. If they were in the same facility. I assume the kids made a decision to put their Father in the same facility that the Mother was presently in. That's only my guess. But by the time Michael got there, it was probably too late for them to swap old spy stories. But maybe they were fondling each other.... I'm sorry, I mean "handling" each other. heh heh I was just trying to helpful and tell you the Father and son lived together in the area. Why don't you just ask Max?, Maybe he saw them together and can give you his observations. Check this out from his obituary.. In time, the Paines both left Texas. Michael Paine lived and worked in Concord, Massachusetts, and was active in coastal conservation and supported Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. He moved to Sonoma County in 2004. He (Michael)and his son, Chris Panym, founded near Sebastopol a “multi-household, multi-age, multi-enterprise community” they called Green Valley Village. They were unable to bring it to fruition. Chris Panym said that as his father approached aged 90 he lost his memory but all his life was committed to championing the environment and civil liberty. In addition to his son in Sebastopol and his former wife in Santa Rosa, Paine is survived by his daughter, Tamarin Laurel-Paine of Middlefield, Massachusetts. https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/michael-paine-debated-politics-with-jfk-assassin-lee-harvey-oswald-dies-a/ There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. on April 14 in the library at Friends House in Rincon Valley. Panym asks people interested in attending to RSVP to him at 707-861-1169. Editor’s note: This version of the story corrects an error on the make of the car in which the Kennedy’s rode
