  1. Again, I'm not sure why the disconnect Sandy? You can hear with your own ears.. JFK is told by Cabot about ongoing plans for a coup to assassinate Diem and members of his family. . Ideally, I would suspect JFK wouldn't have wanted Diem and his family killed, and would want to have ushered them off to some exile. But clearly here, JFK is not being "conned" in any way at all! And unless there's some other record of revision over the next couple of months, he clearly expected bloodshed! He's being told of the assassination plot, and in essence says. "Aw shucks" I wish we didn't have to kill him, and his family. I'm not sure if the next guy's going to better but maybe he will be, so i guess we'll have to do it." Read the text! We can't say after JFK went through the Cuban Missile Crisis, that he's not aware that words result in actions! And he gave his approval! **** Paul, I don't understand either. This is clearly JFK's voice. Are you talking about a greater tape sequence of this same meeting?
  2. Sandy, Yes I've read that. We were always told that. Sandy did you listen to the tape?. It's hard evidence! JFK was informed by Lodge, and didn't lift a finger. at 3:46--LODGE telling JFK: They're all going to be assassinated: her daughter , son in law, Nhu. and the President Diem, they're all going to be assassinated! I don't think there's any question about it. JFK:" I assume that probably this fellow is in a impossible situation to save, I don't know if we'd be better off, if the alternative would be better-- maybe it will be. If so we well have to move in that direction". Cabot's telling JFK where it's at. I guess we wouldn't call it an edict. But it may as well have been. JFK acquiesces and goes along. Sandy's quote of Jim: Kennedy was furious about this when he heard about it. He walked out of the meeting with Taylor pounding his teeth. He told Forrestal that he was going to recall Lodge for the purposes of firing him and then they were going to have a huge meeting, and then we're going to go ahead and educate everybody about how the hell we got into this mess because he was going to try and educate them to his point of view. [My highlighting.] Sandy, The tape proves that Kennedy hadn't just heard about it, but knew of it and passively stood by and let it happen. So this is all just a bunch of faux rage. He didn't end up recalling Cabot, did he? He couldn't very well, without implicating himself. Similarly at 2:30, there is a November 4th JFK private tape recording that is also on this tape. He tries to make it sound like he had no idea Diem and part of his family would actually be killed, but he knew quite well that was to happen and he stood by. Is this that hard to believe?
  3. Chris, you said this. I didn't . I see now from your responses, there is no opportunity for your personal growth here. So I'll go back to a more insular approach and evaluate your recent rants from a personal perspective and not so much a healing perspective. And I think this below pretty much capsulizes it.
  4. Yeah that Electoral College will always kick butt over fair taxation. Isn't it funny how the Red states always complain about the Feds yet still have their hand out? Would an analogy of an ungrateful 20 something still at home with their parents suffice? Incidentally, California has now passed Germany as the 4th biggest economy in the world behind 1.The USA 2. China 3.Japan. Are the blue states really getting the respect that they deserve?
  5. This sentence perfectly illustrates a point I've been trying to make to you guys.. Essentially, though you may not realize it, but you guys have a mission to make us feel as neurotic and frightened as you. But you always fail Which only serves to make you guys more neurotic and frightened! Which is really your whole point! Whenever I can serve as a mirror, you have my word Chris, I will. Chris: I won’t be so unkind. I am a little fairer, and a little kinder than you. heh heh heh heh, Ho yeah! So now you're going to tell me all this fearmongering was done out of a profound sense of kindness and fairness? What a con! To again hold up the mirror Chris, you're just conning yourself.
  6. Chris, Weren't the covid pandemic vaccines a plot to cull 80 % of the world population off (was that the Gates- Faucci Axis powers? I'm not sure if you specifically named it that) And it involved the spike protein. If people took it, there was a good chance they'd all die within 2 years! It's pretty obvious that hasn't happened. At one point Chris said young men are "dropping dead like flies"! from taking the RNA vaccines which also never really happened. (I used to watch that doctor a lot as he was pushed by anti vaxxers, yet appears sane, and he's saying nothing in that clip other than the excess rates should be looked into. I have no problem with that. He's never denied the pandemic! And he's just one guy!) Your previous track record in any future conversations have to be taken in account. In defiance I just chose the spike protein moderna vaccine. Chris, you would have called me brave or you would have called me foolhardy. But as you know, petty naysayers, weak and strong alike, have never stopped me. As you've just witnessed today with JFK and Diem! I've had 2 and a booster and haven't been sick in years, and defied the odds of frightened youth half my age!. I also have the satisfaction of knowing I largely mitigated the possible passing of the virus to those around me. And I did it in respect for the wishes of the brave people who made great sacrifices and put themselves in danger to save as many afflicted people as they could. Even if they never made Fox News, or never any real mention from the naysayers here! All the civil rights issues that people complain about are due to one basic cause that's been going on since the world began. In a pandemic where hospital admissions and deaths rise to lethal proportions. People who are uninfected, don't want to be around people who are infected, or around people who don't take necessary precautions to be uninfected. Cry about it, but it's that simple.
  7. Regarding JFK and the Diem assassination. This clip shows JFK clearly doesn't have control of his foreign policy, as in August 63, Henry Cabot lodge informs JFK of a coup that will assassinate Diem. Later on Nov. 4th, JFK records for a private historical record that his administration does bear ultimate responsibility for the coup, but says he's shocked by the death of Diem, and the death of members of his family when he clearly wasn't. https://fullmeasure.news/news/shows/jfk-vietnam It's interesting to note that not only did JFK beat Lodge out of his incumbent Senate seat. But had Nixon won the Presidency in 1960, and been assassinated like JFK in 1963, Lodge would have become President as Lodge was Nixon's running ,mate in 1960.
  8. Yeah Doug, Musk has been nicknamed Space Karen! and as you posted, there is a San Francisco style workers revolt going on there. heh heh not really
  9. Yeah Cory, I may be wrong but you seemed to want us to know that you're housing Cliff, and keeping him to his screenwriting. Are you like a Eugene Landy figure? Couldn't Cliff have locked himself in his own apartment, turned off all of his clocks, and shut off all the shades to make his apartment completely dark and set to his screenwriting like Sylvester Stallone did in "Rocky? " Some interesting thoughts and feelings here about JFK!
  10. Calvin, I haven't experienced any outages in twitter yet either, but I did hear a local sports talk say their twitter was down, but don't be deluded by Matthew's devotional corporate fanboy projections. This has nothing to do with a government.conspiracy Operation Mockingbird at all. They are having real problems. Ben's source, is accurate, but he could just as easily have used a business source as those are his best sources since it is about money. Musk gave an ultimatum for his people to work long and hard to bail him out after he he bought a company for 44 billion that he says now is losing him 4 million dollars a day! He was completely stupid, and conscienceless to tweet that BS about Paul Pelosi after he got hit over his head with a hammer and he now has some of his sponsors leaving him. He forced out 2 of his top people to find he can't run twitter without them, and hired them back! Now he's on a tweet storm, continually backpedaling.. He first came out just prior to the election encouraging everyone to vote Republican. His tweets have been strange since qualifying that by saying his only reason he first said that was that he wanted divided government, (which is very corporate), then making a point that he most often votes Democrat, and then that he expects he will vote more Democrat in the future, so now he's trying to find a political center! And now says he's not going to be the one to run Twitter. So he's backing down completely. So he now realizes he's in way over his head and what a mess he's put himself into. I don't know how it will turn out, but on the plus side, a lot of influential people have gotten use to using twitter and there's no consensus of any other platform to adopt, so that's a plus for Twitter. He thought he could crack the whip on his work force, and he pushed too far. On Blind, a social platform where anonymous users talk about their workplaces, a poll of nearly 250 people associated with Twitter showed that about 73 percent favored taking the severance package over staying.
  11. This article says the Dems blew control of the house by mismanaging in New York. They got greedy in gerrymandering and were ruled to break up their districts and lost 4 seats! https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/09/nyregion/ny-house-races-redistricting.html?action=click&module=RelatedLinks&pgtype=Article The current total is Repugs 218 and Dems 212 , with 5 outstanding and the Dems up in 3 of them. One outstanding Repug district is Lauren Boebert who is up by 550 votes. That district is the entire western half of Colorado. What a bunch of dysfunctional loonies they must be! It's too bad, that West side of the divide is very pretty! -Isn't it interesting since Trump has disowned the results of the election, his sheep have kept away from the local county court houses and we've had a relatively peaceful election after a rowdy pre election! -I notice Bankman is also staking Republicans such as Romney and Bill Cassidy.. Either you're into crypto, or your not, and if you are, scandals like this should come as no surprise. -P.S. I notice now that of course, Shari Lake, is contesting her race, and Boebert's race is going to a recount, but she is the projected winner by a few news agencies.
  12. But this doesn't tell us anything Ben. We who saw it live and know the Capitol police weren't prepared. What we as a nation, are dealing with are people who were mercilessly conned by a not very ingenious con man, as evidenced by the fact that the majority of the population saw through him. You have been essentially cheering on sheep who negated their free will to Donald Trump on 1/6, with what we know now from the 1/6 testimony, was not even Trump's delusion, but a deliberate lie. Any cross examiner like Jim Jordan, would have looked like a fool, as all the witnesses were members of the Trump administration, and in some cases would have preferred not to testify at all. Yes, what is the Capitol police to do Ben, slaughter the sheep storming the Capitol? I wouldn't want to see that. You can't see the problem there? It's funny being in a forum that's very hep to the history of Intelligence agency plots and mysteries and yet couldn't learn something from the fact that the Trump con perpetuated on these unwitting slaves is greater than anything the CIA could ever really imagine pulling off! Though it varies in degrees, it's in the 10's of millions! Certain factions could be in Dealey Plaza next week waiting for JFK at 105, or his son! Would the Republicans who actually egged this on, ever offer to pay for the deprogramming? I'm finding many levels of denial. But a beginning realization to some I see now, is one of great embarrassment and that only makes the job, of bringing them back in the fold more daunting. My experience is similar to what's going on in this thread. It's become really boring and repetitive. There really isn't fertile ground for any meaningful exchange. So trying to get from a to b to c is folly. The younger people who got in this because of social media never evolved out of a high school peer pressure sort of echo chamber, using a currency of twitter posts or youtube clips from who knows who. With the older people, like many people who were at the Capitol, it could end up in the category of the irretrievable drug devastation that happened in our generation, but unfortunately a lot of these people might not have many years left.
  13. Trump grifts the Walker campaign and keeps 90% of the Walker donations to himself. The Walker campaign said it first noticed the problem Saturday when former President Donald Trump’s Save America sent out an email that asked prospective donors to “contribute ANY AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY to the Official Georgia Runoff Fundraising Goal and increase your impact by 1200%” But if donors didn’t see a link that said “click here for details or to edit allocation,” they wouldn’t have noticed that 90% of their contributions automatically went to Trump, with the remaining 10% going to Walker. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2022-election/walker-calls-gop-deceptive-fundraising-georgia-race-rcna57136
  14. Hey guess what, my fellow Maga brothers. Trump has said the 2024 Presidential Election is already stolen!
  15. Mark, my experience in California is the same as yours. They have representatives of both parties at the polling stations. They do check signatures. I've used paper ballots whether I voted at the polls or by mail in voting. There are a lot of safeguards built into the election system. I think Chris's most salient point is that there is such a difference in voting and election laws between the states, so I can't say anything about other states. That's because there's no "big government " standardization on a federal level. Because of course, we're not about "big government" in the U.S! heh heh Of course Chris's statement is so hedged. Does anyone really think in a country of 340 million, there isn't one incident of voter fraud? Let's look where the rubber meets the road. The most scrutinized election maybe in American history since the Florida Presidential election was cut short. The most contested case of voter fraud in the 2020 election was in Arizona. The Republicans forced a 2020 recount in Arizona at considerable expense to the state, purely because of what we know now to be the deception of Donald Trump. The results after a lengthy count were, of 2.1 million ballots, to their embarrassment, they found 99 more votes for Biden and 261 fewer votes for Trump! I hate to bore you with math and figures Chris, but that means there was an error of 360 total votes out of 2.1 million votes, or a percentage of .00017 voting error, or 17 per 100,000!. So in the most contested 2020 election there was an inaccuracy of 17 per 100,000! So in this case. The voting was extremely accurate. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/arizona-republicans-release-findings-widely-panned-election-audit-2021-09-24/ ***** Ben, If you remember. Bush went on TV to beg for funding for his "surge" in 2008. And Obama got in office and just went along with increase, which was a major failing but he did end up withdrawing to a level before he even took office by the time he left office, from 40,000 all the way to 8000!
  16. Jim has always pushed a 60 year institutional vendetta against the Kennedy's, particularly of the MSM sort, without really articulating why any of that would be necessary if not after Teddy in Chappaquiddick, but certainly after Teddy's unsuccessful bid to unseat a President of his own party in 1980! In the case of Seymour Hersch's scandalous book, many within the MSM attacked Hersch at the time. Remember this was in 1997! https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/1997/11/17/reporter-hersh-hit-hard-by-friendly-fire/5522898d-3507-4e44-9507-dcf62900e9a2/ There is no institutional ideological attempt to besmirch the Kennedy's. JFK simply wasn't that radical, particularly after he was assassinated! The motive is called "money", and the people know there's a great public appetite. It's that simple. It's also called an attempt of freedom of the press. If you have the means, you could sue them but they usually get away with it, and often the powerful simply don't because they don't want to give it public attention with a,lengthy trial, but just hope the attention will soon die down. It also ignores the facts. Have any of these Kennedy tabloid scandals done anything but increase the Kennedy mystique? Of all the major political families right now, the Bush's, the Clinton's, haven't they been pretty much destroyed? Do you really think the Democratic Party wouldn't go bonkers for a potential Kennedy Presidency? Of course they would. There's just hasn't been a Kennedy with the right stuff. That's all it is. All the people who make these assumptions that some powers that be are having great success staining the Kennedy name are just completely out of touch with everyday reality. ***** Hmmm, as far as these more modern day political rumors, I believe maybe half of them. I remember hitch hiking for fun in the early 70's, and a guy in a Cadillac picked me up and gave me a history of powerful people being homosexual that ended with "I'm sure Nixon and Bebe Rebozzo are more than just friends", before he made a pass at me! But I did hear that Yuri Andropov was a big Dolly Parton fan! heh heh
  17. Of course Trump was president, Ben. And didn't have the balls to immediately get out like Biden, but promised to do it a year in advance, even though he didn't even know if he would be re elected, so he hedged. Then he later blamed that on his generals, but whose the chief executive? Is this another "women's lib" rant from Thailand, Ben? . Ben spent 2 years here repetitively ranting about going after the CCP, and then when Pelosi has the balls to go to Taiwan. Ben cowers, and says "that's too extreme", and actual derides Pelosi whole mission as some "Women's Lib" stunt, just like he's doing now, right Ben? So, now Biden's meeting with Xi. So I guess your fears of the world ending weren't justified? Ben you didn't answer my question, your anecdotal story of your friend in Pennsylvania, son of a steel worker, who said the Dems messaging wasn't alarming of crime enough and didn't talk enough about "families'. Did he vote for Mehment Oz?
  18. W. I saw the Allman Bros. abut a week before Duane Allman died. Sandy, Point Lobos is beautiful. I was there last week, beautiful as ever! Yes Joe , I would say the Monterey Peninsula is part of a coastal drive that starts near San Simeon, and goes all the way up through Fort Bragg in Mendocino County. First you wind your way up through Big Sur.to Carmel, Monterey , Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay. I think Monterey is the aquatic center of the drive as the coast is very accessible, but you do have to pay $17 bucks to go though Pebble Beach, right? Then it goes through the Bay Area and S.F.which is of course, very congested. I'm not much of a city person, but my sister lives there. I take the western artery through 280, and I've recently been through both Portland and Seattle and the traffic there can be worse! Then Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino coasts are really dynamite and relatively unspoiled by tourists. There are some areas that are high off the Ocean that extend for 10 miles and are like a greener Big Sur with a lot less tourists, but Big Sur isn't bad at all tourist wise from October to May.
  19. ? So bottom line, who did your friend vote for Pennsylvania Senator? So you're telling me, your friend is a Pennsylvania lifelong Democrat with a Dad whose a steelworker and he voted for TV snake oil salesman Mehmet Oz? You obviously had a conversation about who he was going to vote for. II he did, he's a fool. The Democrats had a good candidate for him, who I'm sure talked about his family on the campaign many times. The only real problem with Fetterman is he had a stroke 7 months ago. I'm not sure I would have let him debate Oz. But I think it does say something for the Pennsylvania electorate that they had some compassion for him and realized he was one of them. Oz moved to his mother's house to get a residency in Pennsylvania. He really lives in New Jersey.
  20. Of course Ben, you went off on your globalist rap and didn't even deal with point I was making. This guy misses being spoon fed the same old political rhetoric about crime and some of the hypocrisy about family values? Given your response, i probably should have abbreviated my response and said. Your friend sounds really lame! heh heh heh a joke!
  21. Yes, I was for Jerry Brown in 76, and again as the last hold out for the nomination against Bill Clinton in 92. But Jimmy Carter had the same problem as Biden but inherited a much worse economy. But Carter installed Paul Volcker at the Fed, who raised rates up to 17% as tough love and by 83, the rates started coming down for the next almost 40 years! , and Reagan ended up benefiting from the economy rebounding in his first term. A lot of that was just demographics as the boomers dropped back in and revitalized the economy. Of course no one can take away from Carter his Middle East Peace Accords and it definitely was the least warmongering and the least war term for any U.S. President in our lifetime! Of course at the end, Everyone talks about the hostages. I actually interviewed Jerry Brown on my radio show during his political hiatus in the 90's. At the time he had sold his family home in San Francisco and moved from to Oakland to live with the disenfranchised. He had an open invitation discussion group in an industrial area in Oakland. I attended twice, and it was fascinating but it is almost 50 miles away or I would have attended more. There was only about 8 people there each time, all of them pretty smart. There's no 2 sides to him. He is exactly as he appears as a politician.
  22. Ben, Your friend sounds like a Fox News slave.I don't what kind of misplaced sentimentality lead to that statement.. The Republicans have always seized on the fear based crime issue. But crime has been steadily going down for decades with a slight pop up after the hard pandemic period. The Republicans tried to play that up in the 2022 mid terms, and guess what? It failed because people just aren't feeling it in their neighborhoods. H.L. Mencken:----The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. Yes, And the pro family, and yet all the red states have higher crime rates, highest divorce rates, highest unwanted and teen pregnancy, more drug addiction. But Fox News always assails the Democrats and the blacks for one parent families. *** Ben: But allow government to run the show...you get the CCP/Beijing. Or some government-corporatist tosses you in jail as your speech is "stochastic terrorism." How many years have you been away from the U.S. Ben? it seems you've forgotten life in the country of your origin. What danger even remotely does the U.S. have of adapting a CCP like government? That's sort of like Americans saying sensible gun legislation will lead to the confiscation of all guns. It's just not going to happen. You're ignoring much of the cultural attributes of the nation you were brought up in. The balance, and the regulatory regime has turned toward the corporate Capitalists so long, it's completely absurd now. The wealth inequality is unlike anything anybody imagined 40 years ago! So you're telling me the 'free markets" will take care of that? The only way you're going to address any of these ills, including the globalism you've ranted about endlessly here for 2 years is through government. If you don't realize that, than nothing will change, at least because of you. How would it?
  23. News flash! Masto wins Nevada Senate race! CNN projects Democrats take Senate without Georgia! The House is incredible, according to CNN. Republicans 211, Democrats 204. With 20 close contests still in doubt! Of those, Republicans leading in 10. Democrats leading in 10 which would put the Republicans at 221, all they need is 218! But there are 4 districts in California and 2 in Arizona where the Democrats are losing by less than 1%! A couple of districts have been under 50% counted! I don't know why. If the Dems were to win all 6 they are currently losing by under 1%, and keep the ones they are leading in. The Democrats win with 220! But that seems very remote!
