  1. Chris, I'm not in disagreement with the placement of the vehicles in the animation frame above. The bottom quote from Couch refers to the turn from Main onto Houston. They were on Houston when they heard the shots. This was Camera Car #1. Correctly shown. The problem with Mark's work is that it doesn't show the Mayor's Car stopping there as indicated in that frame of the animation or Camera Car #1. He has it stopping well down Elm and not in the intersection. They breeze through the intersection in contradiction of witness testimony and stop on Elm Street down from the intersection. Dearie says the motorcade came to a stop. She was referring to the stop from the position shown in the frame above. The stop was not brief or a rolling stop. It lasted for the length of the shots and perhaps a little more. They were released and then a short time later the rest of the motorcade was released. This could have been 25 or 30 seconds later as documented by Weigman at the end of his film and the Couch film. The people doing the releasing were probably Welcome Barrett and J. M. Smith. Neither say this in any testimony I can find. It is interesting that Mark has the Pilot Car, Chief George Lumpkin, stopping in the intersection and briefly reacting with Welcome Barrett. Was it at this point that Barrett got his instructions to stop the motorcade at the point where the Cameral Cars would be kept stalled on Houston during the shooting? If so, this enhances the idea that the DPD was heavily involved in the assassination. Another problem I find with Mark's work is that he takes the Plaza films and witnesses at face value or close enought to be the same. He ignores witnesses who have something different to say. If you do that then you are re-telling the official story and not what happened in Dealey Plaza. He does mention problems in his handbook and I have not analyzed whether they make into the animation.
  2. I'll repeat Dearie Cabell's testimony again. The Mayor's Car stopped facing directly towards the TSBD. This was in the intersection. The car was stopped by the patrolmen at the scene in the intersection. They were there for at least 11 seconds probably more. This is the alleged timing of the shots by various researchers. They were there when they heard the 3 shots. Most people believe the 2nd or last shot was at Z 313 which by Zapruder timing gives the p. limo 20 seconds to leave the plaza. This conforms with the original Weigman frame posted. They were released first and then the rest of the motorcade a short time later. Congressman Roberts was sitting just as this lady is now, and turned the same way. I was turned facing him. We were looking directly at each other, The position of our car was such that when that first shot rang out, my position was such that I did not have to turn to look at the building. I was directly facing it. And, Mr. Hubert. In other words, your car was still really on Houston? Mrs. Cabell. No ; we were making the turn. Mr. Hubert. Just on the turn? Mrs. Cabell. Just on the turn, which put us at the top of the hill, you see. Just on the turn and on top of the hill facing directly towards the TSBD. They were on Elm Street in the turn (intersection) facing northwest rather than west. Dave Weigman said he jumped out of the car and ran forward to take pictures. This was his technique for filming presidential motorcades. He films the Mayor's Car and the National Press Pool Car as they leave the intersection. He is on foot. His film is 36 seconds in length. At the end of the film he shows the rest of the motorcade with a mid motorcade motorcycle policeman passing the TSBD indicating they were about 30 seconds more or less behind the Mayor's Car. Weigman's film does not show the National Press Pool Car stopping. It suggests it stopped, or at least at slowed down on Elm just past the TSBD. and later, This photo was taken by Weigman when he was on the Elm Street afoot. The rest of the motorcade was still held up for most of his film. They were there for most of Weigman's film. The original frame was shot on foot at the end of the 20 seconds since frame Z 313. That is if the p. limo is shown leaving the plaza. This is a Couch film frame. It is roughly at the same time that the Weigman film shows Weigman filming the motorcade passing the TSBD. Weigman catches the No. 1 Camera Car as it approaches him about 30 seconds into the film. Couch's film frame show the motorcade from further up the Elm Street. Camera Car No. 1 is about at the same place Weigman is filming them approaching him and if you look the road toward the overpass is empty with no vehicles there. The first 12 vehicles of the motorcade have left Dealey Plaza. Mark's animation shows that the motorcade stopped here. Not further back at the intersection. The motorcade does not stop until it reaches this point. The Mayor's Car and National Press Pool Car leaves the plaza while the rest of the motorcade waits here. This contradicts the testimony of various motorcade witnesses. His timing of these sequences are off and not really realistic according to the Weigman and Couch films.
  3. I didn't see that when I viewed and reviewed the motorcade animation. I didn't see a stop in the intersection of four seconds or any other in the intersection. Here is what Dearie said: Mr. Hubert. And it was about that time that you observed the odor? Mrs. Cabell. Of gunpowder. Mr. Hubert. That was when your car at least had come to a standstill? Mrs. Cabell. Every car in the motorcade had come to a standstill. Mr. Hubert. Therefore, of course, it was before you followed on to the hospital? Mrs. Cabell. Yes. Mr. Hubert. Did you make the observation to anyone at that time that you had smelled gunpowder? Mrs. Cabell. No; because there was too much confusion. But I mentioned it to Congressman Roberts when we were in Washington a couple of weeks ago. Mr. Hubert. Did he say that he had observed it? Mrs. Cabell. As well as I remember, he said “Yes.” We were in a group, a large group, and there was much conversation. Mr. Hubert. Did you hear any other spontaneous remarks by anyone else? By spontaneous remarks, I mean remarks made then, not later. Mrs. Cabell. Congressman Roberts — and I believe this was after the third shot, because we were dead still for a matter of some seconds — then when the motorcade started up, Congressman Roberts said — these might not be his exact words, but this is what he meant: “If all is well ahead, we are headed for Love Field. We are getting out.” Mr. Hubert. His previous remark about the caliber of the rifle, which you did not at that time understand, was made after the third shot was fired and before you began to move? Mrs. Cabell. Yes. --------------- Three shots were fired before the motorcade began to move. This would be something like 11 seconds according to various folks. And, there would be additional time for the motorcade to start up. But, the real denominator of time would be when Welcome Barrett/and or J. M Smith released the motorcade that it had stopped.
  4. There are several people who have made good lists of Oswald's intelligence connections, but I don't think anyone has zeroed in on the odd out of the way places Oswald had been.
  5. Fascinating. It just points out again that Oswald new more people than most thought. Nearly all of his contacts were people involved with Cuba or American intelligence on his return to the US. Someone should write about the places and people Oswald knew outside of New Orleans and Texas. Some are strange.
  6. Thanks Chris, I have Todd Vaughan's motorcade info. It is invaluable for determining whose who in the motorcade. The photos above are great. The man with the stetson must be T. Wright, TDPS, the driver. The bottom film is what film? I recognize it, but don't recall the name. I differ on shot placement due to witness testimony. These witnesses were in the TSBD on the 3rd and 4th floors. Witness Statements: 1. Harold Norman- 11-26-63 FBI statement Norman said he heard a shot as the vehicle turned onto Elm St. 2. Bonnie Ray Williams- Sheriff’s Office on 11-22-63- first said he heard shot when the presidential limo turned onto Houston. Later, he changed that to a turn onto Elm St. and then later changed that. 3. James “Junior” Jarman- Warren Hearing on March 24, 1964- At first, Jarman said much the same as Williams and Norman. He later changed his testimony at the WC to hearing shots from low and to the left. That is shooting from Houston Street. This could be from the Dal-Tex. 4. Mary Hollies- 2-18-64 statement to Detective Potts said she heard 3 shots as the motorcade turned into the intersection. She noticed smoke on a little hill over to the west. Mary Hollies and Alice Foster are placed with 5th floor witnesses due to Mary’s 6th Floor Museum interview in January, 2011. This contradicts her earlier statements. 5. Betty Alice Foster-3-19-64 FBI statement- She heard something like fireworks after the President’s car turned down Elm St. 6. Elsie Dorman- 11-23-63 FBI report, 3-20-64 FBI report. She thought shots came from the Court Records Building on Houston St. She became excited and quit filming at the time the President was on Houston Street at the Court Records Building. 7. Sandra Styles- In a statement made to the FBI on 3-19-64 she said she heard shots but, did not know where they came from and offered no other relevant information. However, in a video published in October, 2017 she said as the presidential vehicle turned into the intersection she heard 3 shots. Reference: Jobert Jefford Paulson video, Oct. 17, 2017- The Case of the Lady Who Did Not See the Assassin. 8. Vickie Adams- FBI report- 11-24-63- She said when the president’s vehicle entered the intersection of Elm and Houston she heard 3 shots. She could not see the shooting since it happened while the presidential limousine was under trees. And, that would be in front of the TSBD. 9. Dorothy Garner- 3-20-64 FBI report- When the shots occurred the presidential vehicle was out of sight, obscured by trees. This would be in front of the TSBD. 10. Yola Hopson- 12-1-63- FBI report- She heard two or more sounds / firecrackers when the presidential limousine was obscured by trees. This would be in front of the TSBD. 11. Steven Wilson- 3-25-64- FBI statement- He said he heard 3 shots while the president was obscured by trees. This would be in front of the TSBD. There are more. You can see that there were other witnesses who saw or heard something different. The current number is 110+. From these witnesses there are statements about where the p. limo was when they heard shots that begin on Main Street, continue on Houston Street, in the intersection of Houston and Elm, and in front of the TSBD. Very few of these witnesses agree with the official story. Mark in his motorcade animation skips these witnesses.
  7. Mark failed to mention this. It is in my opinion the most interesting thing about the Weigman frame. It is one of the many touch points that tells one there is two versions of reality in Dealey Plaza when the assassination occurred. I don't know where I got this idea. I had thought that Mark mentioned the car down by the overpass as being the SS agents vehicle. I can't find that so I guess he didn't say anything about it. But, I prepared this comparison. And, I might as well post it. This shows that the vehicle down by the overpass is the p. limo and not the SS agents vehicle. There are no agents on running boards with this vehicle. What is a few seconds? Mark's animation is based on detailed accuracy. So, that few seconds should be important and necessary to understand the motorcades movement through Dealey Plaza. Dearie Cabell said: Congressman Roberts was sitting just as this lady is now, and turned the same way. I was turned facing him. We were looking directly at each other, The position of our car was such that when that first shot rang out, my position was such that I did not have to turn to look at the building. I was directly facing it. Mr. Hubert. In other words, your car was still really on Houston? Mrs. Cabell. No ; we were making the turn. Mr. Hubert. Just on the turn? Mrs. Cabell. Just on the turn, which put us at the top of the hill, you see. This is an earlier representation picked up from the internet and from whom is a guess. But, it confirms Dearie's testimony on where her vehicle was and stopped. This puts the first shot in front of the TSBD. If Zapruder is invoked it is more than likely at Z 157-160. This fits with what many witnesses who were in the TSBD said. They heard shots when the p. limo was under the trees in front of the TSBD. 400+ witnesses are a lot of testimony to read. However there are about 110 or more witnesses that say the shooting of the president happened in a different manner than the official story. That is enough witnesses to take what they said seriously. Using this location, Z 157, from the map above Zapruder filmed an extra 329 frames. At 18.3 frames per second we have 17.9 or 18 seconds to leave Dealey Plaza from where the p. limo was at at Z 157. So, the Weigman frame shows the p. limo leaving by just about going under the overpass. It should help with figuring out how long the Mayor's Car was held up at the intersection. Mark in the animation has the Mayor's Car not stopping at all. If so, that throws his whole sequence off. I'll rewatch his July 17, 2021 version to see if I am remembering correctly. The animation shows the Mayor's Car not stopping in the intersection, but it does stop further down in front of the TSBD in a position that directly contradicts what Dearie Cabell said.
  8. Mark Tyler uses this Weigman frame. I find it quite interesting. Like almost everything in Dealey Plaza there are weird things to be seen if you look close. First off, the Mayor's Car looks like a hardtop rather than a convertible. The hardtop part is actually the front windshield of the Mercury Caliente against the background of the VP's chase car, a Mercury sedan. No problem once thought about. However, where are these vehicles on Elm Street? Mark's animation has them at the upper part of Elm rather then the lower part. The Weigman frame clearly shows (at least to me) they are below the steps from the parking lot in Dealey Plaza. Or, is this like Altgens 6, an alleged wide angle photo showing the p. limo after the Stemmons sign at Z 255? Is it another case of lying eyes? And, down by the overpass is a vehicle dark in color. There were only two dark colored vehicles in the first 12 vehicles in the parade. The p. limo was midnight blue and the SS chase car was black and both of those were convertibles. What I see down by the overpass could be the p. limo. I don't see any SS men standing on the running boards. So, it must be the p. limo. The question I have here is how long was the Mayor's Car and the rest of the motorcade held up in the intersection of Elm and Houston. Once Will Greer got the p. limo moving after the shots they left the Plaza very quickly. Mark's animation has them, the Mayor's Car and the rest of the motorcade moving through the intersection without a stop. This is contrary to the testimony of Dearie Cabell. How long were they held up? 7 seconds? 10 seconds? or 14 seconds? None of those times are very lengthy. From Z 313-and afew frames after, how long would it take to leave the Plaza completely? From the Weigman frame they all appear to be moving together and not separated by the the first 10 cars and then after some time the rest of the motorcade. OBTW, where is car 9 and car 10 in Mark's animation? Shouldn't they be marked and why skip from vehicle 8 to vehicle 11? Shouldn't use 9 and 10 just for vehicles and not something else? Well, that's just some thoughts. Let's move on to some more bizarre things. The absence of the railroad workers on the overpass above Elm Street. We've all seen the famous, I say infamous, Altgens 7 photo showing these fellows. But, at the same time they are missing from this Weigman frame. Right under the question mark on the bridge is what looks like a DPD officer, Foster, in a white hat. That's where they were rather then over Elm Street. It is too vague to argue about. There are several other films and photos that show no railroad men on the bridge. Among these are the Bell film, John Martin film, Emma Bond photo, Hughes film, and the Patsy Paschal film. There maybe one or two others that I do not recall at this time. Down on the sidewalk near one of the question marks appears to be a woman floating in the air with little or no shadow from her. Behind her is a dark blob resembling a dog lying or the Newmans in the grass. Can't be the Newmans they are up by the Stemmon sign. Then there is a man, a woman, and a child with a bizarre shape behind them resembling what? A blob? Some menacing monster? Just strange camera blobs where there should be people? The Weigman frame is strange.
  9. There is only two films from the north side of Elm. The Zapruder film and the Elsie Dorman film. No others were allowed. There are about 14 or so unknown photographers on Elm and Houston that can be seen in other films and photos. Perhaps, what Keyvan is talking about could be one of those. I recall seeing a mass of film just thrown on the floor of a TV station. I have always wondered whether that film was taken in Dealey Plaza. The film that Kellerman mentions is in the Gap and therefore not for general publication.
  10. This is primarily what I think about Marion Baker not telling the truth. Obviously, he came under pressure to change his story once Roy Truly made a statement. I have even more sinister thoughts concerning Marion Baker, the man with the gun. He left his post when none others did. His orders were to stay with the motorcade and protect them. What would he have done if Roy Truly was not there?
  11. Been saying this for years. However, you have stated it much, much better. Well said. Your explanation points out why Fritz and Curry could not put Oswald on the 6th floor during the assassination. They said this years later. My explanation for where Oswald or Prayer Man was at during the assassination is from the Martin film rather than Weigman, or Darnell. IMO, there is an unmistakable Prayer Man figure on Elm Street under the trees taking photos of the p. limo. You can even see the camera flash. Oswald, being a combat trained Marine seeks cover and concealment, and beats Baker to the landing of the TSBD by just a few seconds. You can also see in the Weigman film Prayer Man is still taking photos with a camera flash there on the steps of the TSBD. If the figure on Elm Street is not Oswald, then it was an Oswald double. IMO, something is off with the Altgens 6 photo disguising the Doorway Man figure as Billy Lovelady. That implies two Oswalds on the 1st floor and on Elm Street and not in the Sniper's Nest.
  12. Here's another thing of interest from Roger Craig. He said in When They Kill A President : "The parking lot behind the picket fence was of little importance to most of the investigators at the scene except that the shots were thought to have come from there. Let us examine this parking lot. It was leased by Deputy Sheriff B. D. Gossett. He in turn rented parking space by the month to the deputies who worked in the court house, except for official vehicles. I rented one of these spaces from Gossett when I was a dispatcher working days or evenings. I paid Gossett $3.00 per month and was given a key to the lot. An interesting point is that the lot had an iron bar across the only entrance and exit (which were the same). The bar had a chain and lock on it. The only people having access to it were deputies with keys. Point: how did the woman gain access and, what is more important, who was she and why did she have to leave?" If this is true then anyone entering the parking lot behind the picket fence would need a Sheriff's department official's key. How did the woman get access? And, this goes for all the others wandering around that were noticed by various people. Lee Bowman describes vehicles driving in the parking lot. Were these officials of the Dallas Sheriff's Office? I thought Frazier and Oswald parked there? Are there two parking lot involved behind the TSBD?
  13. Gil, One could suspect that things were chaotic at the TSBD with folks remembering different things. I don't think that is excusable for police detectives and officers who deal with investigations and legal concerns. Boone's 1:22 pm is not that far from Roger Craig's 1:05 or 1:06 pm. As outlined earlier their is varying times for the rifle finding. The difference in the time for the shell finding and the rifle finding varies. Most agree that the shells were found before the rifle. According to Penn Jones, Roger Craig said the rifle was found at 1:05 pm. With Roger Craig entering the building at about 12:50 pm means that there were minutes between the shell finding and the rifle finding and not an hour or more. I'll stick with the Police Officer of the Year: 1960. I think Craig's reporting is the most accurate. This is based on his not changing his testimony and with others doing just that.
  14. JC, It won't until the truth is known and your oft times virulent opinions do not make any difference whatsoever. To answer your question on conspiracy theories I believe in, I will say this. The Warren Commission is one of the biggest conspiracy theories of that era. The Warren Commission Conspiracy!
  15. Here is more interesting info: I don’t want to side track the Belair/Rambler issue. I put the info on the Carcano/Mauser issue in to portray Roger Craig as a keen, observant witness. IMO, I have never read a convincing article debunking the Mauser found at the TSBD. Perhaps, folks ought to look at the time issue more closely. What was the time the Carcano was found? How much time had passed between the 3 police officers seeing the rifle and Alyea filming Day with the rifle. And, when did Capt. Fritz have it in his hands? Do your homework. http://www.jfk-online.com/alyea.html Tom Alyea, "Facts and Photos" From Connie Kritzberg's Secrets from the Sixth Floor Window, pp. 39-46 “The barricade on the sixth floor ran parallel to the windows, extending in an "L" shape that ended against the front wall between the first and second twin windows. The height of the stack of boxes was a minimum of 5 ft. I looked over the barricade and saw three shell casings laying on the floor in front of the second window in the two window casement. They were scattered in an area that could be covered by a bushel basket. They were located about half way between the inside of the barricade. I set my lens focus at the estimated distance from the camera to the floor and held the camera over the top of the barricade and filmed them before anybody went into the enclosure. I could not position my eye to the camera's view finder to get the shot. After filming the casings with my wide angle lens, from a height of 5 ft., I asked Captain Fritz, who was standing at my side, if I could go behind the barricade and get a close-up shot of the casings. He told me that it would be better if I got my shots from outside the barricade. He then rounded the pile of boxes and entered the enclosure. This was the first time anybody walked between the barricade and the windows.” When the casing was filmed where was the long paper bag which had held the rifle? And, what about the report that the shell casings were close together and aligned? “(The police photo showing the shell casings laying next to the brick wall was staged later by crime lab people who did not see the original positioning because they were not called upon the scene until after the rifle was found nearly an hour later.) . . .” The shell casings were found first and a hour later the rifle was found. That makes it about 2:00 when the rifle was found. “Only recently I saw a picture of Lt. Day with a news still cameraman on the 6th floor. Day was shown pointing to the location where the rifle was found. This was nearly 3:30 or after. It was my understanding that Day and Studebaker had taken the prints, rifle and homemade sack back to police headquarters. I personally would like to know what they were doing back at the scene unless it was to reconstruct shots they had failed to take during the primary investigation. But this evidence had been destroyed and they were forced to create their own version. The photo I have seen of the barricade wasn't even close. I have also seen recently a police photo of the assassin's lair taken from a high angle which indicates that it was shot before the barricade box arrangement was destroyed, but it did not show the barricade itself. This has no bearing on the case other than the public has never seen the original placement. . .” 3:30 and Day and a cameraman our still at work at the TSBD filming what?
  16. Wexler may not have considered the time issue of when the weapon was found and what happened to the Mauser seen by Roger Craig. There are different accounts of when the weapon was found. Some of these suggest as late as 1:30 or 2:30. Craig's time for the finding of the rifle is 12:50 to 1:06. One fellow took measurements of the angle of the sun coming through the windows and calculated that the filming by Tom Alyea could have happened during the time period 1:30 to 5:30. There is an interesting timeline on the net from a newsguy.com that is relevant: At Least Two Frame Rifles And Two Sets Of 3 Frame Bullet Shells Were In The Texas School Book Depository On 11-22-63 A 7.65 Mauser Rifle Was Found Then Hid On The Roof Then A 6.5 Carcano Rifle Was Found and the related two sets of 3 frame bullet shells And A 7.65 Mauser Magic Bullet Became A 6.5 Carcano Magic Bullet While In Evidence The conspirators had to plant the Mauser then later swap the Carcano with the Mauser possibly because Oswald the patsy wasn't killed in the TSBD as planned and he fled the 5th or 6th floor, possibly taking the Carcano and leaving it on a lower floor until the conspirators found it and planted it on the 5th floor after 1:30 p.m. then DPD personnel (Fritz and Day?) moved it to the 6th floor where it was filmed at 1:55 p.m. Roscoe White stated he killed JFK using a 7.65 Mauser = This implies all 3 snipers and the distraction shooter (Richard Cain in the Frame Oswald Window) were using 7.65 Mauser This is a timeline I constructed regarding the finding of the two frame rifles in the TSBD on 11-22-63: 12:50 p.m. to 1:06 p.m. Finding Of The Mauser 1:06 p.m. Most Of The Finders Of The Mauser (including Roger Craig and presumably including Will Fritz) leave the TSBD upon hearing the news over the cop radio of Tippit's death 1:22 p.m. The Carcano Was Found Per Unsigned Testimony Produced By The Warren Commission For Deputy Weitzman 1:25 p.m. Finding Of The Mauser On The Roof 1:30 p.m.+ Ellsworth enters TSBD with Will Fritz; Finding Of The Carcano On 5th Floor By Ellsworth et al. 1:30 p.m.+ Frame 6.5 Carcano "Magic Bullet" (rounded tip) swapped into evidence for 7.65 Mauser "Magic Bullet" (pointed tip) 1:55 p.m. Filming Of The Carcano with Fritz, Day, et al. but not Roger Craig +/-2:00 p.m. Lt. Day Leaves the TSBD Elm With The Carcano +/-2:30 p.m. Tom Alyea's Film Left the TSBD (there may have been film made by others, like for the 1:55 p.m. filming of the Carcano, which also left the TSBD at +/-2:30 p.m., then all the film synthesized into "The Alyea Film") +/-2:45 p.m. Lt. Day Was Back On The 6th Floor, Perhaps In Regard To Assassination Evidence +/-2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.+ A WFAA News Director Has Some Of Tom Alyea's Film Frames Burned (presumably the frames showing the 7.65 Mauser and showing Captain Fritz picking up the 3 bullet shells, and maybe even showing Lt. Day ejecting a live round from the Mauser as witnessed by Roger Craig); also Captain Fritz got a copy of Tom Alyea's films at some point "Sometime after 3.15 pm the first Alyea film was telecast." On TV from http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=15040 At Some Point Captain Fritz's Copies Of Tom Alyea's Films Are Lost (presumably because they had the frames of the 7.65 Mauser and the frames showing Captain Fritz picking up the 3 bullet shells, and maybe even showing Lt. Day ejecting a live round from the Mauser as witnessed by Roger Craig ) There is another interesting thing I didn't know about the Sniper's Nest. Two live rounds were found that day. One in the rifle and one wedged into a crack in the floor boards of the Sniper's Nest. This is a crop and magnification of the area of the Sniper's Nest.
  17. What did Roger Craig see? Richard Bartolomew: Rambler Station Wagon By Robert Howard, January 16, 2006 in JFK Assassination Debate “Possible Discovery of an Automobile Used In the JFK Conspiracy Copyright © 1993 by Richard Bartholomew Introduction Ten minutes after President Kennedy was shot, Marvin Robinson, Helen Forrest and Dallas Deputy Sheriff Roger Craig, independently of each other, reportedly saw two men leaving Dealey Plaza in a light-colored Rambler station wagon. One of them entered the car on Elm Street after running from the direction of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD). Craig and Forrest described this man as being identical to Lee Harvey Oswald. A few minutes before this incident Richard Randolph Carr saw two of three men, who had come from behind the TSBD, enter what was apparently the same Rambler parked next to the building on Houston Street. He saw the third man enter the car seconds later on Record Street, one block east and two blocks south of the TSBD.” It seems from this discussion that several people saw a light-colored Rambler, or Nash Rambler Station Wagon near the TBSD directly after the assassination. Of the witnesses involved one must look to Dallas County Deputy Sheriff Roger Craig as the most important witness of this group. One could suggest he was the most observant and informed of these witnesses who saw a Rambler station wagon. Roger Craig was all over the assassination area directly after hearing shots on Main Street coming from the area of Dealey Plaza. He immediately went there. First off, let’s examine the Mauser issue briefly. Roger Craig said he saw a rifle, a Mauser rifle, at the TSBD. This was the rifle found on the 6th floor. He described it as a Mauser saying you could see stamped on the rifle 7.65 Mauser. Many say the 7.65 Mauser is easily mistaken for a Carcano rifle. They say they are nearly identical in appearance. I don’t think that is the case. Observe the following comparison of the rifles and you will see that they have a different appearance, especially to those who are familiar with rifles of that era. I have no doubt Roger Craig saw a 7.65 Mauser. In another incident directly after the assassination, Craig saw a light-colored Rambler stop and pick up a man who ran down the hill from the TSBD and get in the Rambler. He later identified this man as Lee Harvey Oswald, or someone identical to Lee Harvey Oswald. Would he know what a light-colored Rambler looked like as versus another vehicle mentioned, Ruth Paine’s 1955 Belair Chevrolet station wagon. I would say yes since he was a policeman and vehicle identification was important for his job. Here is a photo of a vehicle similar to Ruth Paine’s 1955 Chevy Wagon. Notice the two-tone paint and look at the shape and structural details. It is a large, long and linear shaped vehicle with a hood ornament and a side detail ornament. These vehicles lacked a luggage rack on top of the vehicle. These station wagons were generally two-toned in paint. The plainer single paint variety generally lacked ornamental detail, but there seemed to be an intermediate and this best describes the Paine vehicle.. Let’s move on to Ruth’s vehicle. This is composite showing a new appearing 1955 Chey Belair and Ruth’s Belair as it is in recent history. Would Roger Craig mistake this vehicle for a light colored Rambler station wagon? That is the question here and best examined by looking at Ramblers from that period. Craig did not give the year of the vehicle so we will look at a 1955 Rambler and a 1960 Rambler as a way to compare the two. The 1960 model looks a little like the Chevy Belair. Other models of the Nash Rambler station wagon do not. The biggest difference in the 1960 model that resembles the 1955 Belair is the luggage rack on the Ramblers. There is a good probability that Craig would not have mistaken the vehicle. He saw a light-colored Nash Rambler. I would suspect that the Paine vehicle was introduced to get disinformation into the investigation and link Oswald to the Paine vehicle as he was linked to a rifle allegedly stored in the Paine’s garage.

  19. Allan Dulles and Frank Wisner Dulles and Wisner were closely involved in setting up and administering many of the CIA operations and projects said to have touched on or directly affected Lee Harvey Oswald. This would be the U2 program, the Project MKUltra at Atsugi, Japan, the Defector Program, the aftermath of the Bay of Pigs invasion, and the continued interest in invading Cuba. There are key words of interest in this discussion: These are OSS, Switzerland, Easter European refugees, NSCID No. 14, propaganda, economic warfare, …including assistance to underground resistance groups, guerrillas and refugee liberation groups, Richard Helms, Belarus, Belarussians, Belarus Brigade, Richard Helms, Kim Philby, and Richard M. Bissell Jr. Allan Dulles: (From Wikipedia) Allen Welsh Dulles (/ˈdʌləs/; April 7, 1893 – January 29, 1969) was the first civilian Director of Central Intelligence (DCI), and its longest-serving director to date. As head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) during the early Cold War, he oversaw the 1953 Iranian coup d'état, the 1954 Guatemalan coup d'état, the Lockheed U-2 aircraft program, the Project MKUltra mind control program and the Bay of Pigs Invasion. He was fired by John F. Kennedy over the latter fiasco. …Dulles was one of the members of the Warren Commission investigating the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Between his stints of government service, Dulles was a corporate lawyer and partner at Sullivan & Cromwell. …In the 1948 Presidential election, Dulles was, together with his brother, an advisor to Republican nominee Thomas E. Dewey. The Dulles brothers and James Forrestal helped form the Office of Policy Coordination. During 1949 he co-authored the Dulles–Jackson–Correa Report, which was sharply critical of the Central Intelligence Agency, which had been established by the National Security Act of 1947. Partly as a result of the report, Truman named a new Director of Central Intelligence, Lieutenant General Walter Bedell Smith. …DCI Smith recruited Dulles to oversee the agency's covert operations as Deputy Director for Plans, a position he held from January 4, 1951. On August 23, 1951, Dulles was promoted to Deputy Director of Central Intelligence, second in the intelligence hierarchy. In this capacity, in 1952–53 he was one of five members of the State Department Panel of Consultants on Disarmament during the last year of the Truman administration.[27] After the election of Dwight Eisenhower in 1952, Bedell Smith shifted to the Department of State and Dulles became the first civilian Director of Central Intelligence.” Frank Wisner took Dulles place as Deputy Director for Plans. Dulles and Wisner worked hand in hand as Director of the Central Intelligence and Deputy Director of Plans for many years. Frank Wisner: (Daily Beast) Daily Beast: CIA and FBI Spied on Americans and Immigrant Refugees as Early as the Late 50s “Soon after World War II ended, the Department of State recognized that there was a huge, untapped pool of Eastern European refugees. Harnessing them to fight the communists they hated was the brainchild of Frank Wisner, a former Wall Street lawyer turned Office of Strategic Services spy and the State Department’s expert on European war refugees. In a secret February 1948 policy paper, Wisner and his study group recommended that the National Security Council sanction the “systematic” use of such refugees. The NSC took Wisner’s advice. Two years later, on March 3, 1950, the council issued a top-secret intelligence directive (NSCID No. 14) authorizing both the FBI and the CIA to find and jointly exploit the knowledge, experience, and talents of the approximately 200,000 Eastern European refugees living in the United States, as well as the hundreds of thousands still trapped in displaced-persons camps in Europe. The NSC, FBI, and CIA fully understood at least one of the legal implications of NSCID No. 14. There were bound to be poopoo collaborators among the targeted Eastern Europeans: Einsatzgruppen volunteers who helped the SS round up and kill Jews and Gypsies, Waffen SS brigade volunteers, ethnic-cleansing militia guerrillas, and members of pro-poopoo fascist groups like the Romanian Iron Guard and the Croatian Ustasha. To avoid future embarrassment or legal challenges, the NSC charged the Justice Department with finding ways within and around the law to recruit and protect its new Cold War army. Frank Wisner (From Wikipedia): Wisner was recruited in 1947 by Dean Acheson to join the State Department to become the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Occupied Areas. On June 18, 1948, the United States National Security Council approved NSC 10/2 which created the Office of Special Projects.[9] On September 1, 1948, the office was formally established, although it was renamed to the Office of Policy Coordination (OPC) for obfuscation purposes.[10] Wisner was chosen to lead the OPC in the capacity of Assistant Director for Policy Coordination (ADPC).[11] The OPC initially received services from the CIA but was accountable to the State Department.[12] According to its secret charter, the OPC's responsibilities include "propaganda, economic warfare, preventive direct action, including sabotage, antisabotage, demolition and evacuation procedures; subversion against hostile states, including assistance to underground resistance groups, guerrillas and refugee liberation groups, and support of indigenous anti-communist elements in threatened countries of the free world."[ On August 23, 1951, Wisner succeeded Allen W. Dulles and became the second Deputy Director of Plans, with Richard Helms as his chief of operations. J. Edgar Hoover and U.S. Senator McCarthy succeeded in forcing CIA director Allen W. Dulles to dismiss one of his key staff members, Carmel Offie, in 1953 over Wisner's objections.[17] Wisner worked closely with Kim Philby, the British agent who was also a Soviet spy. Wisner was also deeply involved in establishing the Lockheed U-2 spy plane program run by [1] Wisner was also deeply involved in establishing the Lockheed U-2 spy plane program run by Richard M. Bissell Jr.[1] Another project he was involved in was with regard to the Belarus Brigade's leaders, a unit incorporated into a German SS division, who were assisted into the United States after the Second world war, due largely to his efforts. In defiance of federal law, John Loftus asserted, the Office of Policy Coordination helped obtain visas for poopoo collaborators from Belarus — who were believed to have facilitated numerous atrocities by the poopoo Germany. According to Loftus, it was all part of a Cold War scheme to wage guerrilla warfare in Soviet-occupied Europe, in which the poopoo collaborators were to play a key role. When the project collapsed, however, the Belarussians quickly settled in and obtained US citizenship – and intelligence agencies protected them from exposure for decades.[16 From Harvey and Lee Website: Frank Wisner and World War II Refugees Frank Wisner was a Wall Street lawyer and during WW II worked for the Office of Strategic Services (predecessor of the CIA). After World War II ended thousands of Eastern European refugees were brought to the United States under his supervision. National Security Council (NSC) records show that Wisner, the CIA's director of clandestine operations, oversaw the re-location of thousands of anti-Communist exiles to the United States as a means of rewarding them for conducting secret operations against the Soviets. Wisner became the CIA and State Department’s expert on European war refugees, and secretly subsidized the refugee relief organizations that brought these Eastern Bloc refugees to the United States throughout the 1940s and early 1950s. Wisner and his group recognized they could use these Eastern European immigrant's knowledge, customs, and familiarity with their respective homelands. Wisner asked the National Security Council (NSC) to sanction the “systematic” use of such refugees, and they (the NSC) agreed. The NSC soon issued a top-secret intelligence directive (NSCID No. 14), which even today remains "classified," that authorized both the FBI and the CIA to find and jointly exploit the knowledge, experience, and talents of well over 200,000 Eastern European refugees resettled in the USA. The CIA soon contacted the Displaced Person's Commission (DPC), which worked closely with the leaders of refugee organizations in the USA. DPC chairman Ugo Carusi sent a memorandum to all refugee organizations in the USA that read: “We would like to advise that the U.S. Commission [DPC] has a formal agreement with the CIA to cooperate in every possible way to facilitate their programs. It is, therefore, altogether desirable that local representatives of the voluntary agencies and State Commissions and Committees make available to fully identified CIA agents the addresses of displaced persons.” Many of the things mentioned in this discussion can be related to Lee Harvey Oswald. And, may give insight into the character of that mysterious person shot at the Dallas Police Department. We refer to this person as Harvey Oswald, one of the other people involved in the Oswald Project. I apologize to Tony Krome. This has gone way off the subject of the Backyard Photos. But, it is part of the history of who the person in the BYPs is.
  20. Kennedys and King Home Paul Bleau Saturday, 29 July 2017 06:00 Oswald’s Intelligence Connections: How Richard Schweiker clashes with Fake History Written by Paul Bleau “Oswald and Intelligence: Odds and Ends Before getting to who Oswald links up with let us look at general points where we can find fingerprints of intelligence. From Jim Marrs’ Crossfire we can read about how Oswald: Possessed a Minolta spy camera. Had a notebook that included microdots. Loved James Bond and the spy program I Led Three Lives. Worked at Atsugi air base in Japan as a radar operator with possible security clearance. This was the base where the CIA’s U2 top-secret high altitude surveillance program was housed. Was discharged from the Marines, entered Russia through a favorite spy-friendly crossing point in the middle of a false defector program, threatened theatrically to give away U2 secrets to the Russians in the U.S. embassy, and returned easily to the U.S. with his Russian wife, who herself had ties to Russian intelligence. All this with financial support in ways that could have only been state-sponsored. Learned Russian in a way which New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison, himself an ex-marine, concluded could only have been through special training for an intelligence assignment. He also discovered that Oswald’s base for his Fair Play for Cuba activities was right in the heart of New Orleans’ intelligence establishment, and that he was most probably playing an agent-provocateur role. He grew convinced that intelligence assets were obstructing his investigation into Oswald’s links, something that was confirmed by the HSCA and ARRB releases. Applied, while in the Marines, to a very obscure Swiss college called Albert Schweitzer that appears to be CIA-linked.?” No. 1 is a telling point. How would a non-agent or wannabe agent have or even know about 35mm Minolta spy cameras. There is a lot of things that Oswald knew about that wasn’t general knowledge to the public. No. 2 is spycraft. I guess Oswald could of made these at the photo lab of Jaggers, Chile, etc. No. 3, I don’t see this as very relevant. IMO, the only Bond film or book that approaches what is done in spying is From Russia With Love. Number 4 is something I would go farther with. Atsugi Naval Base was the premier intelligence base in the Far East. There were major cold war secret operations done at Atsugi. 1. U2 flights and operation was conducted at Atsugi against the Chinese and Russians. 2. There was a major operation with nuclear weapons at Atsugi. The nuclear weapons were stored on Naval ships at Yokohama. In the event of their use they would be transported to Atsugi and armed. 3. Oswald lived in the same barracks as the U2 flight personnel and could have learned major secrets there from the mechanics and repairmen. He was trained early on in aircraft maintenance and repair in California before being trained in radar technology. These two trainings indicate Oswald was being prepared for something involving U2's. 4. There were many other spying facilities there. A Korean village to train infiltrators into North Korea is an example. No. 5 is worth looking at closer. Oswald’s time and job at the Minsk factory is something that needs further review. In October of 1959 there were two Oswalds in Europe. Perhaps around mid-October Harvey Oswald was in Finland and his double the real Lee Harvey Oswald was on a MATS flight to Germany as discussed in the Steenberger testimony before the HSCA. No. 6, if looked at from the Harvey and Lee perspective has Harvey Oswald as the Russian speaker has a consequence of his birth and youth. Also, in No. 6 is further connections to intelligence. I once listed 10 people in the military/Russia, in New Orleans, and in Dallas that had a military or intelligence background. Other people have done a much better job of relating Oswald’s intelligence connections. No. 7 is another case of how Oswald knew something. Albert Schweitzer College was a little known school to the public. How would Oswald have known about it and why did the accept him a high school dropout. The college was associated with the CIA. This was not known to the public. “Researcher Mae Brussell argued that Oswald’s mission in Russia was to help the Russians bring down Gary Powers’ U2 flight over Russia and therefore sabotage Eisenhower’s attempt at rapprochement with the Russians at an upcoming summit meeting. Others have pointed to those who were convinced Oswald was a spy, including Marines Oswald served with, Gerry Patrick Hemming, Oswald’s mother and others.” This was the reason Oswald defected into the Soviet Union. Oswald was not a wannbe spy, but a high-level operative on a carefully defined and setup operation at the highest levels of US intelligence. Oswald and his double had been trained by the US for some significant operation that would take place in the future.. This project, the Oswald Project, was a long term project which began in Switzerland when Allen Dulles was assigned there in the OSS and helped refugees from northern Europe, particularly Poland and Russia, escape the German invasion.
  21. None in the grand scheme of things. The grand scheme of things being the JFKA. Oswald's defection pre-dates any notion of the JFKA. So, there are other grands schemes at work then. Marina and Oswald meet before anything is actually thought of or put into works for the JFKA. I see the relationship between Marina and Oswald as spy vs. spy. IMO, Oswald was sent to the Soviet Union as a triple spy. Stage 1 spying would be his defection to the SU. Stage 2 would be his actual defection to the SU by giving them US military secrets involving radar. This doubling would have to be very convincing to KGB authorities so that they would accept him as a genuine defector. This acceptance of Oswald as a worthy defector was real. He was sent to Minsk which was not a faraway place of no importance. Minsk was a top industrial and military center. It had the Soviets best and biggest factory for electrical products. Oswald was sent to the radio and tv factory as a regulator. Most people wonder what that was and simply take the simple answer that he was a lathe operator. That was not so. A regulator was a supervisor. Oswald was a supervisor in the experimental shop of the factory. This was where new products were made. He was paid more or the same as the factory manager. Why? Because what he was doing in the experimental shop was of top priority to the KGB and Soviet authorities. I, like others, believe Oswald was instrumental in providing info that eventually caused the downing of a U2. This was why he was sent into the Soviet Union. His mission was to sabotage the upcoming summit meeting and continue the Cold War. Still, he was not trusted. It was said that 30 KGB operatives were assigned to watch him. And, then comes Marina to fulfill Oswald's lonesome desires. It's Spy vs Spy. Marina, IMO, is a KGB spy. She attaches herself to Oswald and in the process doubles as a spy so that Oswald will find her attractive and be sympathetic to her desire to escape Russian, communism, and the hard life she has led as a spy. When she gets to the US she triples. Spy vs. Spy. When the Oswald couple gets to the US, the authorities, particularly the FBI, want to keep an eye on her for that reason. It is probably the last thing they would want to do. Can you remember hiding under your desk in school in an atomic bomb drill. This was the atmosphere of the late 50's and early 60's. The Hungarian revolution. The Quemoy and Matsu incident. The Cuban missile crisis. The U2 affair. Trouble in Southeast Asia. And, many others. Since the Soviets were behind us in missiles, missile technology, and nuclear bombs, they would not want to press war. Threaten, yes. Cause trouble on the side lines, but a direct confrontation, no. This is the background of Marina and Oswald's spy game. Spy vs Spy.
  22. It's obvious that Marina was an agent of some government body in the Soviet Union. KGB, or military intelligence, the GRU, are the most likely candidates. There are stories of Marina with a Bulgarian ambassador, a Moroccan individual, and with Robert Webster prior to her meeting Oswald. Her people were in intelligence work at a high level. I don't know much about her parents and her early years. Supposedly, she ended up in Minsk due to an Uncle. And, then she meets Oswald. Since I am a Harvey and Lee fan I have to ask which one? Did she have a relationship with both in the SU and the US. Jealousy may be the reason for her occasional beating. That's just my pet theory lacking evidence to say confidently. But, several of the stories have her with an Oswald while another Oswald is elsewhere. She said she was married to two men. Many take that metaphorically. I don't. Yep. Marina is very suspicious. Particularly, her behavior after the assassination and her help in framing Oswald.
  23. Sorry, I have diabetic polyneuropathy. It's a gift from the government and the army. I can't feel which keys my hands are on and just apt to type anything. I rely to much on spell checking I looked at Lipton and since the spell checker said nothing. Sorry for the misspelling. In the future I will try to do better.
  24. Absolutely. IMO, the people who planned the assassination wanted a film to just do that. They wanted to manipulate the memories of people who were there in two ways. One by limiting, or coercing, or out right changing witness testimony. Secondly, with altered media such as the Zapruder film and others that apparently show the same thing. After decades have passed, a witness standing at the time of the assassination in the intersection of Elm and Houston sees and hears shots fired in front of the TSBD. Later, let's say about 1975, he sees the Zapruder film that shows shooting down by the Grassy Knoll. What is he going to remember in 1985? Or, what would he remember in 2000? I give you Jean Hill as an example. She bitterly fought Arlen Specter to say she was just across from the SW corner of the TSBD in 1964 (See Hill Exhibit No. 5). Years later in a film, she is down at the Grassy Knoll with Mary Moorman saying the shooting took place there. Bonnie Williams had his memories adjusted 4 time before he got it right. Originally, he said he heard shooting when the p. limo was at the Main and Houston intersection. And, on it goes for many witnesses. David Lifton is absolutely right the Zapruder film was designed to manipulate memories of the event. His example of Gov. Connally indicates they were doing this early on within days of the assassination. through altered film/photos and witness testimony.
