  1. It was time to quit mowing. 94 degrees but the humidity is only 42%. Heat index of 98, which is supposed to be the high later so the index will be over 100. Not to detract from the soul vibe going on here but is there a better 4th of July song? Kind of relates also, they put a gun in my hand, sent me off to a foreign land, to go and ill the yellow man. . https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=bruce+springsteen+born+in+the+u.s.a.&view=detail&mid=A96C702FEF801F45200AA96C702FEF801F45200A&FORM=VIRE0&ru=%2fsearch%3fq%3dbruce%2bspringsteen%2bborn%2bin%2bthe%2bu.s.a.%26form%3dPRUSEN%26mkt%3den-us%26httpsmsn%3d1%26msnews%3d1%26rec_search%3d1%26refig%3d0168920794a7413193cb6b7276f9b06c%26sp%3d1%26ghc%3d1%26filters%3dufn%3A%22bruce%2bspringsteen%2bborn%2bin%2bthe%2bu.s.a.%22%2bsid%3A%225975142d-f8f6-4765-d7ee-7441c385e7ea%22%26qs%3dMB%26pq%3dborn%2bin%2bthe%26sk%3dPRES1%26sc%3d8-11%26cvid%3d0168920794a7413193cb6b7276f9b06c Or maybe you prefer. . . https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=born+in+east+la&&view=detail&mid=5D644A94B66A19E8A20E5D644A94B66A19E8A20E&&FORM=VDRVRV
  2. "overwhelmed hospitals to deny care to patients whose age or health history make them poor candidates for recovery". https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/virus-surges-in-arizona-but-the-rodeo-goes-on/ar-BB16jmZ2?li=BBnb7Kz
  3. I guess Jacob Rubenstein has become my Achilles heel or maybe albatross regarding JFK's Assassination. I realize the greater importance of the bigger picture. From JFK and Vietnam to Battling Wall Street the Cold War and more. Jack seems to lead back to that bigger picture, in ways for me at least. From, they're going to find out about the guns and Cuba and everything, to digressing with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court about a New York attorney's death in a taxi cab, to then begging him to take him to Washington . To why did he really kill Oswald, not for Jackie and the kids. The DPD, mayor Cabell of the CIA. Cuba and yes as a part of that bigger picture, the mafia, as an accomplice. Nixon and the mob - labor investigation in the early 50's. Too many links there to just blow him off with no connection to organized crime a the Warren Omission did.
  4. So what we have is Thornley returning from a summer vacation to see his parents in California via Mexico in October 1963. Where Ozzie supposedly went near the same time. Living in apartment C of a building owned by John Spencer in November, per what Garrison says he told him. "We located Spencer, who turned out of be a friend of Clay Shaw's. . . . sometimes Spencer visited Shaw, sometimes vice versa. Spencer told us, however, that Shaw never came by while Thornley was living at his place." Then to paraphrase Several days after the assassination Spencer found Thornley gone with a week left on his rent and a note in the mailbox, "going to the Washington D C area, probably Arlington Virginia". Then we have what Garrison later called A first lieutenant at El Toro while Oswald was there, John E. Donovan of Alexandria Virginia speaking to the NYT 12 or 13 days after the assassination. As "his former commanding officer". Promoting the official day after CIA supported line, Oswald was a commie. He studied Russian and read a Russian newspaper. So Thornley gets a job as a doorman at some apartments in Arlington making less than his apartment there costs and hangs around until his Warren Omission skewering of Oswald then heads for California. While Spencer tells the WO "never in any way. shape or form a Commie". Something fishy here? With a slice of limburger cheese thrown in? I'll bet Spencer and Thornley would both have appreciated Sweet Virginia. Scrape that xxxx right off your shoes Mick. Full Screen of course! https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=rolling+stone+sweet+virginia+live&view=detail&mid=CECE08F3E190D0F52E22CECE08F3E190D0F52E22&FORM=VIRE0&ru=%2fsearch%3fq%3drolling%2bstone%2bsweet%2bvirginia%2blive%26form%3dPRUSEN%26mkt%3den-us%26httpsmsn%3d1%26msnews%3d1%26rec_search%3d1%26refig%3d59ca87c1aa1a4adcafda1fccf195e2f6%26sp%3d-1%26ghc%3d1%26pq%3drolling%2bstone%2bsweet%2bvirginia%2blive%26sc%3d2-33%26qs%3dn%26sk%3d%26cvid%3d59ca87c1aa1a4adcafda1fccf195e2f6
  5. Stuck at home on the 4th of July. No friends or family. No parade or fireworks show. Can't go to the beach. I'm going to Willie's Picnic, virtually. Almost 7 hours of entertainment, $35. A few people I've never heard of, some I've only heard a couple or three songs, one I've heard and didn't care for that one song. Video's of the Peterson brothers on you tube feature some pretty good blues guitar. Time to expand my horizons. Plus some people i really do like. https://www.williepicnic.com/ Here's Willie's son Micha/AKA the Particle Kid. Laid out a couple of ribeye's for the grill. I'll put a sixpack in the fridge. Still have a couple of Colorado chocolates left over from last year, might get them out too. Or I could go mingle with other customers at the fireworks stand and shoot off a hundred bucks worth in 30 minutes for just me nd the wife.
  6. I hear red necks all over Texas yelling tonight I don't care what that SOB says I'm not wearin' a fokin mask anywhere. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/texas-mandates-face-coverings-as-coronavirus-cases-surge/ar-BB16eV95?li=BBnb7Kz
  7. The more I think of this the more interesting it becomes. Oswald's former CO Donovan was a physics instructor in Alexandria Virginia on 12/4/63, quickly found for his statement 2 weeks after the assassination by the NYT. Yet the Warren Omission overlooked him? His statements would have supported Thornley, when no others did. Nelson Delgado had lived closest to Oswald and for the longest period . . . who bunked next door to Oswald for the better part of 11 months had no recollection whatever of Oswald's Marxist leanings. Under oath Delgado swore that Oswald "never said any subversive things . . .". . . . "He would discuss his ideas but not anything against our government or - nothing socialist, mind you". Daniel Powers, served with Oswald in Florida, Mississippi, El Toro and Japan. Jenner (WO): Did he ever express any sympathy to the communist party? None that I recall. Toward communist principles? None that i recall. Or Marxist doctrines? None that I recall. Pgs. 45-46, On The Trail, Garrison. Next, "I examined the testimony of John E. Donavan, who was a first Lieutenant at El Toro when Oswald was there. His testimony about Oswald's leftist leanings was explicit". . . I never heard him in any way, shape or form confess that he was a Communist or that he thought about being a Communist." Hmm. A little different than to the NYT on 12/4/63. Interesting Thornley moved to Virginia from NO a few days after the assassination.
  8. Your work on exposing JFK's role in pursuit of civil rights justice gives light to the fact that such is the total opposite of the statements and tweets of the current prez. https://kennedysandking.com/component/k2/itemlist/filter?ftitle=Civil+Rights&fauthor[]=294&moduleId=338&Itemid=791 The chump's no JFK imho. Maybe part of why He was eliminated?
  9. Pong fest? These Alabama students kicked it up a notch. Maybe they should be kicked out of school? https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/alabama-college-students-are-throwing-covid-parties-where-they-invite-infected-people-and-gamble-on-who-gets-sick-first-officials-say/ar-BB16fpPo?li=BBorjTa
  10. I probably shouldn't admit I played beer pong a couple of times for a couple of rounds many years ago. It became quickly evident that driving was quickly eliminated (though a friend didn't understand this and wound up in jail), and, a hangover was ensured. I learned to refuse to participate in spite of being called things worse than a party pooper that start with a p. I can't imagine a 'fest' or festival with elimination rounds I presume. Winners not good for much of anything the next day? Sounds like a great way to spread covid, close proximity, lots of loud talking, shouting. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/hundreds-of-teens-at-pong-fest-party-in-texas-were-exposed-to-coronavirus-officials-say/ar-BB16e34D?li=BBorjTa
  11. I've never wanted to live in Houston having been through it a few times, the size of it, crowdedness, traffic and especially the humidity combined with the heat suck. Now this. I feel sorry for them. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/internal-messages-reveal-crisis-at-houston-hospitals-as-coronavirus-cases-surge/ar-BB16duiI?li=BBnb7Kz
  12. First time I've read about Oswald playing football. Rob I see the NYT Dec. 4, do you know what year? It's interesting as I've just been reading Jim Garrison's observation about all the Marines interviewed by the Warren Omission. All but Kerry Thornley get about a half page but he get's I think 22. All but him say O never mentioned communisim or russia. But he did. Garrison notes KT knew O for a shorter time than they and he never lived in the same barracks as O. Donovan wasn't interviewed by the WO? Why, he would have supported their lies. Is his story later backup for the official tripe?
  13. Nice to see you post Paul as I don't remember any lately. In relation to it I thought Angleton's cryptic note to Helms about Hunt in Dallas 11/22/63 should be, noted, as well.
  14. I really wish I'd read this book 30 years ago. I'm only 1/4 way through but feel it should be in the to 10 on the subject. Really underappreciated. https://www.amazon.com/Trail-Assassins-Murder-President-Kennedy/dp/1620872994/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3DKAB64I2H93V&dchild=1&keywords=on+the+trail+of+the+assassins+jim+garrison&qid=1593568048&s=books&sprefix=On+teh+trail+of+the+%2Camazon-devices%2C329&sr=1-1 E.G. Banister's wife: "Asked about what happened to Banister's office files, she recalled that the federal government had arrived within an hour or two of his death - long before she reached his office - and carted off the locking file cabinets. . . . told FBI or Secret Service." They left behind files index cards, found by State Police, obtained by Garrison. American Central intelligence Agency 20-10 Ammunition and Arms 32-1 . . . Civil Rights Program of J.F.K. 8-41 . . . Fair Play For Cuba 23-7 International Trade Mart 23-14, would this part relate to Freeport Sulphur, Italy and more? Paul, Rob, Jim? Reminds me of Angleton looking quickly for Mary Meyer's diary and flying to Mexico City for Winston Scott's files the day he died.
  15. My mistake Steve. I think it regarded Bentley having high to hard stress on the PSE when asked about knowing Oswald prior to his arrest.
  16. Not the kind of headline I wanted to read this evening, another record. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/texas-breaks-record-with-nearly-7000-new-coronavirus-cases/ar-BB16aAgh?li=BBnb7Kz I read an article in the Austin American Statesman today about how football might save us all. It's such a big deal here from Friday Night Lights to Longhorns-Aggies-Bears-Raiders- froggies to Cowboys that them not being able to play might shock enough to reality to turn the tide. To mask, stay home or more. I don't think it will work with younger people in particular. Ever partied in a pasture around a bonfire? https://www.statesman.com/sports/20200629/goldenrsquos-nuggets-football-is-best-dangling-carrot
  17. Maybe this 1968 Circus version? You see Lennon dancing at about 4:55. https://my.mail.ru/mail/bebox58/video/11526/13881.html
  18. Frustration in the Golden State. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/our-luck-may-have-run-out-californias-case-count-explodes/ar-BB167I8p?li=BBnb7Kz
  19. I never knew Jim Garrison knew Guy Banister before the assassination or that he once encountered David Ferrie. "When he was with the police department, we had lunch together now and then, swapping colorful stories about our earlier careers in the F.B.I.". Until 1966 Garrison believed the FBI had done a thorough investigation, as well as the Warren Commission. He left the FBI out of boredom from doing security checks for defense industry employees.
  20. I've long thought Oswald went though something such regarding Russian but have no idea if Thornley spoke Spanish or where he learned it if he did.
  21. We have a God given right to let our employee's and customers all infect each other if they want to! https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/texas-bar-owners-sue-to-overturn-closures/ar-BB167JLv?li=BBnb7Kz

  23. Keith's autobiography Life is much better than the documentary imo though I think I'll re watch it. The first chapter floored me for personal reasons. It's about Keith and two others being held but not arrested in Fordyce Arkansas July 5th 1975. That night we went to the Cotton Bowl about 11:00 to see how big the crowd was camping outside waiting to get the best general admission seats when the gates opened at 10:00 the net morning. Went home, changed clothes, got tickets, money cigarettes and other stuff and went back. About 2 or 3 in the morning on someone seated nearby's transistor radio we heard Keith Richards had been arrested in Arkansas and he might not make it to the show or it might be postponed. Somewhere around daylight they announced he'd been released and was on the way. But his story of the day is downright crazy and funny. Worth the price alone though the book gets much, much deeper. In the link above did you notice Brian Jones playing shortly before he died? Mick and Keith are in the documentary I mentioned in a prior post about Muscle Shoals which is pretty great itself. They recorded I think Brown Sugar there, maybe something else. Now I have to decide which first. The dvd Ladies and Gentlemen The Rolling Stones of four concerts in Fort Worth and Houston, 1972 Exile On Main Street tour (Keith Owns JJ Flash in this), or, Hampton Coliseum 1981. The same show I was in the Cotton Bowl (again) that year.
  24. You Can't Always Get What You Want. What an inspiring way to end a political rally. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/the-rolling-stones-tell-trump-campaign-to-stop-playing-their-songs-at-rallies/ar-BB164owG?li=BBnbfcL Never caught that late line before. You can't always satisfy your greed.
  25. Karen? Are you mocking me? I've worn a mask with a cap but not a hat. My hair's getting kind of wild, it's starting to look like Einstein's but I fear my wife cutting it in my sleep and loosing all my strength. I don't know any Karen's other than this one. Always enjoyed the guitar even though it's schmaltzy pop. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=the+carpenters+goodbye+to+love&view=detail&mid=7B7A6EEC4398EF2B28EC7B7A6EEC4398EF2B28EC&FORM=VIRE0&ru=%2fsearch%3fq%3dthe%2bcarpenters%2bgoodbye%2bto%2blove%26filters%3dufn%3a%22the%2bcarpenters%2bgoodbye%2bto%2blove%22%2bsid%3a%222ef2328a-4227-fa17-edd7-180355e8cc6e%22%2bcatguid%3a%22de15a900-2cf7-e01d-69ab-2a57616349dc_498707c2%22%2bsegment%3a%22generic.carousel%22%2bsecq%3a%22the%2bcarpenters%2bsongs%22%2bpsid%3a%22de15a900-2cf7-e01d-69ab-2a57616349dc%22%2bsupwlcar%3a%220%22%2bsegtype%3a%22U29uZw%3d%3d%22%26FORM%3dSNG1CR%26crslsl%3d972
