  1. Talk about Orwellian DOUBLE SPEAK... Now l-i-a-r-s are "Truthers?" 🙄 That's quite a public relations trick by our M$M-- equating JFK assassination and 9/11 "Truthers" with those who are lying about the January 6th attack on Congress. I wouldn't be surprised if they paid someone to write a book called, I Was a Teenage Truther.
  2. Ron, My impression is that LBJ abruptly championed Civil Rights legislation after JFK's murder as a way of wooing Democratic Party liberals, and reducing suspicion about his complicity in JFK's assassination. After all, he had, repeatedly, colluded in the sabotage of Civil Rights legislation during his tenure in Congress. He also skillfully concealed the fact that he had reversed JFK's foreign policy directives, including JFK's decision to get out of Vietnam.
  3. Can someone please tell me how to put W. Tracy Parnell and Steve Roe on ignore? I value this forum as a rare place on the internet where people interested in "untold history" are focused on learning the truth. I'm not interested in disinformation, deflections, and the usual ad hominem nonsense. There's more than enough of that everywhere else in our society.
  4. Indeed. It's a sign of how little the general public and even members of Congress, apparently, know about 9/11 and Phillip Zelikow's ridiculous 9/11 Omission Report. I saw a stat somewhere indicating that less 5% of U.S. citizens even know that Larry Silverstein's 47 story WTC 7 skyscraper was explosive demolished late in the day on 9/11. The story has been completely blacked out of the U.S. mainstream media for almost 20 years now.
  5. Benjamin, At the very least, LBJ was "complicit" in the JFK assassination in the sense that he was the POTUS that the Cold Warriors wanted in the Oval Office -- the guy who would escalate the war against Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, and against the PKI in Indonesia. LBJ also put the kibosh on JFK's diplomatic outreach to Khrushchev and Castro. LBJ signed NSAM 273 on 11/25/63 and, allegedly told the Joint Chiefs in December of 1963, "O.K., gentlemen, you can have your war (in Vietnam.) Just make sure I get re-elected next year." Who had the clout to influence J. Edgar Hoover to shut down the FBI investigation of JFK's assassination, and to actively assist the Warren Commission cover up? And LBJ's disagreements with JFK and RFK on Vietnam and other Cold War issues were common knowledge in the JFK administration. There is also the Altgens photo evidence, emphasized by Phillip Nelson, that LBJ was, apparently, ducking down in his limo in Dealey Plaza while Lady Bird and Senator Ralph Yarborough were waving and smiling at the crowd.
  6. Thanks, Benjamin. Your points are well taken. I'll probably proceed with the popular Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, and LBJ biographies by McCullough, Ambrose, Dallek, and Caro, without expecting much in the way of Deep State history. It's somewhat funny that the only biographies of LBJ that I've ever read are Joachim Joesten's The Dark Side of Lyndon Johnson, (written shortly after JFK's assassination) and Phillip Nelson's LBJ-- Mastermind of the JFK Assassination-- both highly unflattering, to say the least. People I know who have read Caro's hagiography have been puzzled when I have raised the subject of LBJ's possible complicity in JFK's murder.
  7. One of my all-time favorite movie scenes. I kind of hate to see it reduced to a metaphor for the latter day defenders of the Warren Commission Report. As for Litwin, I wonder if his recent propaganda disparaging "conspiracy freaks" is also partly related to the aggressive mass media black-listing and devaluation of the scientists, historians, and scholars in the 9/11 Truth movement. Just a hypothesis.
  8. Any free historical advice from the forum? Since I retired two years ago, I've been reading a long series of Presidential biographies, and I've worked my way up to 1945, having just finished James MacGregor Burns' two volume Definitive FDR opus. (Incidentally, I was impressed to learn more about FDR's Atlantic Charter anti-colonialism, including his belief that the French needed to get out of Indochina.) Now I'm entering the era of American history-- and significant "untold history"-- when the CIA and Operation Mockingbird became active in the mass media and academe. Many journalists and "historians" writing about controversial matters of national security and the U.S. military after 1947 were, apparently, associated in some way with the CIA's Operation Mockingbird. Well known examples include the likes of Gerald Posner, Vincent Bugliosi, David Halberstam, Neil Sheehan, and even tele-historian Ken Burns. But what about celebrated historians like David McCullough, (Truman) Stephen Ambrose, (the Eisenhower biographies) Dallek, (JFK) and Robert Caro (LBJ?) Any opinions about the reliability of their well known Presidential biographies? Or, to phrase it differently, any recommendations for accurate biographies of Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, and Nixon? Thanks, in advance.
  9. Ron, LOL. I know that old song from one of my Country Gentlemen bluegrass LPs. The CGs played it up tempo with a five string banjo back in the day.
  10. It's a stretch, but perhaps Tracy does bear a slight resemblance to Charlton Heston. 🤥
  11. "Unfortunate," but Fred still, apparently, convinced himself that the fatal head shot was fired from the TSBD, eh? He must have skipped physics while majoring in marketing and creative writing in college.
  12. The title of Litwin's book, itself, is a crafty piece of salesmanship-- implying that only a naively misinformed teenager would doubt the validity of the Warren Commission's "Lone Nut" narrative. As I told Fred Litwin here when he first notified the forum about his book, his intellectual journey on the JFK assassination case was the diametric opposite of mine. I was a teenage Warren Commission Report dupe.
  13. If true, Litwin has embraced a strange ideology, indeed. He is, apparently, promoting the "values" of disinformation, public deception, political assassinations, and genocidal wars by the U.S. military-industrial complex.
  14. No one could make an informed, intellectually honest journey from allegedly being a "teenage JFK conspiracy freak" to being a defender of the Warren Commission's debunked "Lone Nut" theory of the JFK assassination. What Fred Litwin is engaging in is propaganda. The only people who would "buy" his re-cycled Warren Commission propaganda are those who still don't know the facts about the JFK assassination op. Isn't Litwin, essentially, a salesman?
  15. I have a suggestion for a Fred Litwin theme song for his future radio shows -- Harry Connick, Jr. singing, Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans? 🤥
  16. Prescott Bush and his father-in-law, George Herbert Walker, worked on Wall Street for Brown Brothers Harriman. Averill Harriman was a member of Skull & Bones at Yale, as were Henry Luce, McGeorge Bundy, and GHWB. The Dulles brothers and Henry Luce's main CIA liaison, C.D. Jackson, went to Princeton. Like the Dulles brothers, Henry Luce was the son of a Presbyterian clergyman who had an almost messianic fervor about laissez faire capitalism (and the related war against communism.) Henry Luce hated JFK, (and FDR) and was adamantly opposed to JFK's decision to de-escalate anti-Castro ops (including Operation Mongoose and Alpha 66) after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Luce walked out of a luncheon with JFK at the White House after JFK asked him to tone down his rhetoric about Cuba. Henry Luce and his main liaison to the CIA, C.D. Jackson, played an important role in covering up the JFK assassination op-- e.g., by purchasing, misrepresenting, and locking up the Zapruder film. They also bought exclusive rights to Marina Oswald's biography immediately after the assassination, then deferred publishing the straight story. The only Education Forum threads that I found on a recent search for "Henry Luce" were by John Simkin back in the day.* Henry Luce, certainly, seems to have been in on the conspiracy to murder JFK in order to re-escalate military ops against "communism." * Henry Luce and Operation Mockingbird - JFK Assassination Debate - The Education Forum (ipbhost.com)
  17. Paul, I get the point about the importance of not deflecting attention from the evidence that GHWB was, obviously, working for the CIA in 1963, and that he was in Dallas on 11/22/63. But I question the oft-repeated insistence that he (and Dubya) were definitely not in Dealey Plaza. I have learned during my medical career to "call them as I see them." I've heard people claim here that the Dealey Plaza photos are; 1) not "evidence," 2) "low hanging fruit," 3) not GHWB or Dubya Bush. I think the guys in the photos are dead ringers for GHWB and young Dubya. Also, Russ Baker has raised some serious questions about the Bush family narratives about 11/22/63-- including the very strange Barbara Bush letter to her young children, (in her autobiography) and the strange 11/22/63 phone call, allegedly from Tyler, in which GHWB reported his own campaign staffer to the FBI, shortly after JFK was shot. My impression is that "Mr. George Bush of the CIA" was trying ex post facto to establish a narrative indicating that he was nowhere near the scene of the Crime of the Century.
  18. Joe, I just discovered a very interesting, lengthy 2015 Education Forum thread about Lansdale, in which some data was posted about Lansdale's relationship with Charles Cabell. That thread had numerous detailed comments and references about Lansdale by Steven Gaal, Ron Ecker, Cliff Varnell, David Andrews, and others. (I hadn't discovered this Forum at the time.) A very interesting read. Was it Lansdale? - JFK Assassination Debate - The Education Forum (ipbhost.com)
  19. Face Book and Twitter are miles ahead of the U.S. judicial system when it comes to holding Trump accountable for inciting violence and sedition. And how ironic that Trump is now whining about private corporations limiting "Free Speech," after his aggressive campaign to have NFL owners muzzle Colin Kaepernick and the Black Lives Matter protesters!
  20. Well, I beg to differ with you and David Von Pein on this one, per the lengthy discussion of the subject (above) on this thread, (and the related discussions about the apparent photo of Phillips Andover Academy senior George W. Bush near Dealey Plaza on 11/22/63.) Calling the photo a "red herring" begs the question rather than answering it. As an example, look at GHWB's posture and right hand in the photo below. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ntkR7tFLrPY/UdWYp8hQ8CI/AAAAAAAAvDc/JQ6gpJyVYpg/s358/Photo-Posted-On-The-Internet-By-A-Conspiracy-Kook.jpg
  21. Speaking of smiles, I've rarely seen such a smile on Bob Dylan's face. He seems genuinely delighted to greet the Obama's at his concert (above.) This reminds me of a YouTube video I watched last November, where Obama makes a surprise call to a show two young black guys are doing about songs in Obama's recent memoir-- they're listening to Bob Dylan's song, The Times They Are A Changing.
  22. Hopefully, Congress (and the public) will eventually get to see more of Barr's redactions in the Mueller Report. As I recall, the case of the Congressional subpoena of the unredacted Mueller Report is still pending at the SCOTUS. This particular redaction is, apparently, about Barr prohibiting any indictments of Trump for his multiple counts of obstruction of justice of Mueller's investigation.
  23. Nonsense. This alleged "debunking" has been discussed at length on this very thread. Go back and re-read the thread, perhaps more slowly, to help with any reading comprehension issues.
  24. Matt, How were all of these agencies recruited for the assassination op in the first place? Who had the authority to initiate their involvement? Does anyone doubt that the Dallas op was very carefully staged-- from Oswald's employment at the TSBD in October to the selection of the kill zone, routing of the motorcade, positioning and evacuation of snipers, the seizing of JFK's cadaver, scrubbing of the limo, framing of Oswald in the mass media, and the systematic elimination of key witnesses, for years? Quite a complex "magic trick." As for Lansdale's relationship with JFK, Prouty discusses how Lansdale soured on JFK after he failed to be appointed U.S. Ambassador to Saigon, before he was put in charge of Mongoose. (See Prouty's March 6, 1990 letter to Garrison at the top of this thread.) Then Mongoose was shut down by JFK and RFK, in an effort to de-escalate U.S. conflicts with the Soviet Union after the Cuban Missile Crisis. My impression is that the Operation Mongoose guys were furious at JFK and RFK for putting the kibosh on their Anti-Castro ops.
