You do the same thing William, maybe watch the Jimmy Dore video and explain how he is wrong about Jan 6 bet you can't

Total false equivalence, Mathew.

Denial and avoidance of reality are not my typical defense mechanisms.

Geez... I'm one of the guys who can't even board an airplane without thinking that the thing could, possibly, crash.

This is who Donald Trump had dinner with the other night.

We need Trump to make it to 2024 so Dems can keep winning elections; nothing guarantees Democrat wins like Trump involvement in races!

But that isn't going to happen if he immediately takes himself out the running by doing dumb sh*t like this...

C'mon OrangeMan, slow the stupid down a bit...

No, Ben is, definitely, not a Trumper.

He's just an open-minded, non-partisan guy who has refused to listen to any of the sworn testimony of Trump's own staff about what Donald was doing on January 6th and during the days and weeks leading up to the January 6th attack on Congress.

W-

Explain how in 18 months of "investigating"....the 1/6 committee never found out that the No. 2 guy at the Oath Keepers...is an FBI asset?

That indisputable fact come out in trial, not after 18 months of work by the 1/6 committee.

I did not listen, but I read some 1/6 transcripts. I will read any transcripts you feel are smoking guns.

Keep in mind there is no defense counsel at the 1/6 hearings. No cross-examination of witnesses, no witnesses that committee did not approve, no non-committee narratives. No paths traveled down except by committee approval. A commercial television producer was hired to produce the 1/6 series.

I have read nothing to indicate the 1/6 scrum was directed from the White House.

There are reasons to be be concerned with the role of federal plants and instigators on 1/6.

Explain how the 1/6 committee never found out that the No. 2 guy at the Oath Keepers...is a federal asset?

That's some "investigation"!

In fact, 1/6 is a Warren Commission, 9/11-style "investigation."

W---use the skepticism and perspectives you have picked up through your study of the JFKA.

These investigations tend to have the abstract and conclusions written first, then the report is fleshed out--and leads and "evidence" and witness assembled to fit the narrative.

I am happy to have the special prosecutor do what he does on Trump, and if after a day in court Trump goes to prison, or skates, or is exonerated, so be it.

Perhaps you wish to dispense with a trial?

Let us hope these were aberrations....

"During the five years serving as the Justice Department’s public integrity chief from 2010, (Special Prosecutor Jack) Smith oversaw the conviction of former Virginia Governor, Republican Bob McDonnell, on bribery and extortion charges. The Supreme Court later unanimously reversed the conviction, ruling that the government’s “boundless interpretation of the federal bribery statute” was unconstitutional.

The House Oversight Committee in 2014 found Smith to be responsible for arranging a meeting with an official in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to scrutinize nonprofits’ political activities. This meeting would set in motion the IRS’s campaign targeting Tea Party groups, which later resulted in a public apology from the agency and a $3.5 million Justice Department settlement for two lawsuits."

From Wiki:

"On January 21, 2014, (Va. Governor) McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, were indicted on federal corruption charges for receiving improper gifts and loans from a Virginia businessman. They were convicted on most counts by a federal jury on September 4, 2014. McDonnell, the first Virginia governor to be indicted or convicted of a felony, was sentenced on January 6, 2015, to two years in prison, followed by two years of supervised release. However, he was free on bond during the subsequent appeals process.[8] On June 27, 2016, the Supreme Court of the United States unanimously overturned[9] McDonnell's conviction and remanded the case to a lower court.[10] Less than three months later, the Justice Department announced that they would not prosecute the case again and moved to dismiss the charges against the former governor and his wife.[11] The case cost McDonnell over $27 million in legal bills.[12]

Well, checkered track record on Jack Smith.

Prosecutorial zeal?

If you can hire $27 million worth of lawyers, you can beat Jack Smith?

So much for Ben's confidence in due process.

Ben has been refusing to watch the Congressional J6 hearings all year on the grounds that he will only trust a court verdict.

(Ben is unfamiliar with the sworn testimony of Trump's own staff about J6.)

Now Ben is already posting MAGA-verse spam attacking Special Counsel Jack Smith before his DOJ investigation has even commenced.
