Jim: Excellent analysis. There are NO "coincidences" in this case. Certainly none where LHO is concerned. The plan was well thought out and worked. Or it would have BUT FOR Zapruder. Dawn ps A while back I asked if someone could provide a coherent analysis of proof of Zapruder forgery, now it appears that some are saying Zapruder did not even shoot the film. I just don't have the time to read thru all the long comments on this, but I have one question: If Abe didn't shoot it then who the heck did? This is getting foolish again, inho. (Unless I am misunderstanding this line, I shall call the Jack White thread, as he is the one seeming to be saying this.??) I have little knowledge in all the photo/film analysis stuff, as I have told others it's all a blurr to me. Except one group of 4 recent photos. (That I saw on this forum and then my husband viewed and saw the same thing, clearly.) Hope to hear more on that at another time.

Great thread Tim, this is what the forum is supposed to be about. I agree with you John, BUT you still have not answered my question re. your anti-JFK comment. (Thus, I am being persistant). Do you ever read anything on Wim's forum? Tim Carroll had an excellent response to this particular post, but I am not sure how to post from one forum to another.....so all I can suggest is that readers read it there. I appreciate the imput from everyone. I agree with Pam the most. Actually I agree in part with everyone's posts. I was very tired when I posted last nite, so made typos, did not express myself well. By agenda what I meant was not someone trying to sell a theory, but something far more sinister. I have been in this world-(" critical community")- too long not to believe that there are many paid disinformation artists out there whose sole purpose is to destroy our attempts, be it on a forum, where it's so easy to hide and pretend to care about who killed jfk, but in fact are causing dissent and keeping people bogged down in this really fake dissent, THIS being this person's true goal. That was the agenda to which I was referring. Real dissent, over real issues in this case is constructive, and contribute greatly to the puzzle. I disagree about Wim. I do not know him personally, but I do believe he is sincere. I believe he is completely interested in solving this case, in fact I know it. I do hope he gets rid of BV on his forum. I think Wim, like you John, was trying to allow all views and in that regard Vernon stepped in and took over. In the spirit of what you (John) called "divergent thinkers". Having been on this forum since 10/27 and metting some wonderful people, I have also wondering just how constructive this actually is. I see such FIGHTING. It permeates the forums, and those who engage in this the most appear to do so with an agenda: destroy the forum, get rid of people who can add, instead bring it down to the mob level mentality, go for the throat. SO what's the point? I thought we all agreed on this, but .....only some of us do. Now I am on WIm's forum too and BOB VERNON is taking it OVER> It's just insane. So, back to my question: are forums constructive, re this case? Or are there just TOO many with an agenda, personal, or political= (destruction of the truth seekers collective collaboration). So this is my quandry, it this a waste of my time? How real can people really be in cyberspace? I know and trust some here, even tho never met, but the need to dual is simply lethal. Tim: Great idea. Also to be wished for, I think, is a discussion about what to do with all this research. What's the purpose? How do we move forward with what has been uncovered in the four decades since the murder and cause some meaningful investigation to seek reasonable answers? On that topic, I posted an essay last November, entitled "Just Where Do We Go From Here?" It was prompted, among other things, by questions that had been asked by a young American, Alana Collins, and an interesting proposal she had made to Cyril Wecht. Here's a snippet from that essay: "There are many of us for whom Alana Collins has spoken: We believe that something needs to result from all this research. We believe the conspiracy research community needs to end the childish squabbling and get its act together. We believe we should move as one force to get something done." I know that Larry Howard's, (Darryl), wife thinks he was murdered. She told me herself in Dallas in 1997 at a COPA conference. Bud Fensterwald was not Assassination Information Bureau, they were a Cambridge MA group who relocated to DC during HSCA. (But were likely affiliated). I was told that the "White story killed Bud". LHO was a patsy. He was also intelligence. FBI (documented when he was arrested agent #179, $200.00 payment), but likely many other branches of US intel. Probably a double agent, but again whatever his US handlers told him to do, probably passed on U-2 info. He may have had an interest in Marxism, but the FPFC was a one man op. in New Orleans (LHO), while run out of Guy Bannister's office (other side of building) on Camp St. I believe LHO did exactly what he was told to do by his handlers, ie fight in New Orleans, up to bringing curtain rods to work that day. The fact that Hoover wrote a memo about "someone using (his) id" in 61 (62?) shows more intel. connections. Ultimately I believe LHO was a patriotic American, highly intelligent, therefore useful as an agent any many levels, but who had respect for JFK and NO motive to kill him. That he got to live long enough to say "I am a patsy" is a big clue. Dawn

THank you again Shanet. John, I am surprised at you. Andy admits he has no interest in this case and he's clear he has no belief that JFk's life would have made a difference. Therefore his death does not either. I find this odd, but a lot of people (sadly) feel this way. The media's dsinformation agents have done an excellent job, test books don't even touch the subject...so , the agents who make money on this case are the likes of Posner ( just to name one)... Nearly everyone disagrees vociferously with the Files story. Does it give his story more credibility? We as researchers relentlessly attack the official story of the assassination of JFK. I believe if you google Dr Brown you will still see this disinformation piece on Walt's site. Last time I checked it was still there. Read it. Then read the facts of this disinformation in a piece by Jim DiEugenio and Bill Davy in Probe (Vol 6 No 4 May-June 1999). (If any reader cannot access Probe I will contact Jim to be certain I can scan this piece to this forum). As I said I am certain Reitzes' "review" is online. (But will re-check) Then I read an article entitled "Yellow Roses" (allegedly) by him on a subject where I have much knowledge, and he and I were in agreement: Mac Wallace. I sent him an emails with questions and praise. No reply. Did he really write this article? I have no idea. I have no idea who he "really" is. But many suspicions. So, as I said, my comments were about Wim's words. An "author" who purposfully employs disinformation disquised as a "book review" is someone who needs to be outed. And Wim did just that. Opps, now it is posted. E Howard Hunt gave an interview I believe to Slate mag. I have it around someplace and it was discussed on an earlier thread on this forum. Lucianne Goldberg is definately one to look into. She actually goes back to LBJ, worked in his press office, according to "The Men On the Sixth Floor" (Sample and Collom). I googled her day before yesterday to be sure of this, as there was no cite for this in the book. She's CIA for sure, dirty tricks up the wazoo., inho Dawn

Happy New Year to all I'd like to interview Specter, Dallas police officers- (more later on this), Ford, Marnia and daughters, (for some legal action) . There is no dispute re the fingerprint: The latent was found on 6th floor on a box, not able to be id'd. A deep cover researcher< (and close friend of mine)- obtained same from Nat'l archives. He also obtained the known prints of Mac Wallace from Austin dept of Public Safety. They were given "blind" to certified print expert Nathan Darby- (also a close friend of mine, as a result of this, since 97). As Nathan tells it, he thought it was "some family matter X was asking him to take a look at". And study he did. And made the match. Now noone can get a copy of the known prints from DPS due to the way Glen Sample handled obtaining same. Sample is the co author of The Men on the Sixth Floor". He had two so called "print men" in CA. compare them- (NOT EXPERTS LIKE NATHAN),- and it's my understanding, it was not given to them "blind". They concluded there was no match. (Sample has since met with Nathan and is now convinced that there is a match). When Sample got the DPS prints he had "no case to which to attach it", so now as a result, NO ONE can get these prints., "except a member of the family of Mac Wallace" Barr McClellan cannot even get them now. BUT, there is good news on this issue, but that's from another source. He will post (again) when it's time. A second print expert in Tx. also made a match but then got scared and did not wish to be associated with this in any manner. Sorry, noone can bring a wrongful death action re LHO, there is a two year statue of limitations. The only way this case can come to court is for the Dallas DA to convene a grand jury. I wrote him a letter to this effect last year. He did not respond. Of course we also need a defendant. (I was writing him concerning Mac Wallace stuff, but Mac's been dead for many years). There are researchers persuring the Grand Jury issue tho. Will find out who. As it's slipped my mind. Dawn

John, A very perceptive post. However, if you are going to continue this line of reasoning I think it will be necessary, eventually, to try and determine whether the Texas connection or the Eastern Establishment had the real or final power in the U.S. during the post-war period. I believe personally that these two groups are not so separate as some believe, but were actually in cahoots and were actively involved in the assassination. Can't prove it though. I think you both got verly heated and neither of you would back down. It got to be a drag top see it. I don't know you but I generally do like cops, as a defense atty have been friends with a few over the years. I sure wish more law enforcement would get involved in the case. And I would hate to see anyone leave. But, one person did get suspended. Then a second it seemed for defending the first. I was also verbally attacked but that was ok...Just seemed that the rules were not evenly applied. The SLA comment was truly OFFENSIVE. And when only one person gets suspended that is unfair. YOu can tell your side but Tim cannot. It was a two way street. But then "fights " aways are. There were some legit questions Tim asked of you that you ignored. I don't have it at the top of my head.
