  1. My prayers are with those who suffer. I hope Tom's doing OK. I've been scouring the net trying to find out what Kennedy might have done. It seems the history of disater relief in the US has for 60 odd years been a see saw between a 'pick up the pieces' response and a proactive one. The Kennedy years appears to have been a period when the federal government through Kennedys influence took a more responsibility oriented approach. Johnson short circuited that approach and it was resumed under Carter, then a swing again and back to a mitigating response under Clinton. The history I was following doesn't go beyond the Clinton years, but perhaps once again it has swung to a 'pick up the pieces' response?
  2. Mark, my thoughts too. Sounds like a lawyer, looks like..etc. Who's the client? If what Tim says about the Odio trio turns out to be true, there's the case for a conspiracy proven. Enough to reopen investigation? DPD, you listening? You say you don't close the book on Murder in Texas.
  3. Steve, Gaeton Fonzi provides a fairer account of Odio in 'last investigation'. After outlining her background he concludes : "Based on character and background alone Sylvia and Annie were highly credible witnesses.Their story held up through my heavy checking and I was completely convinced they were telling the truth" alsewhere he states that he can see it possible to prove a conspiracy based on the Odio incident alone. He explains the background to Silvia's problems in a way that certainly makes Posner out to be a dork. (i'm reading the last investigation' while also following your informative post, it makes for an interesting contrast.)
  4. Adam, over here in wa in the local Crazy Prices they are stocking a set of mafia cd's, lots of background stuff, one on jfk and mafia. (also they have one on kgb and jfk) Mostly it's footage with voice over. about 10 bucks a pop. From when I lived in blue mntns, I remember they have the crazy stores over there too.
  5. With regards to the different hole sizes I wonder (not based on indepth medical knowledge, but perhaps someone could comment) if when the tracheotomy hole was described in bethesda it was a description of a body just dead, so maybe surround was still swollen, engorged? after some hours and fluid draining down to lower parts etc. would such a hole 'grow'?
  6. hi Blair, this one from the left I don't know if it was parkland or where it was taken. No doubt someone can say. As far as I know there were some 80 odd pics taken and only a handful released? There are as far as I know a couple of oblique ones of the front - right side - back but no square on front right back, which would be good to see if they were available.(i think I got this one from Lancer site)
  7. There are a number of ways to view that document, Gary. IMO. The following: In Brown v. Board of Education, the decision widely regarded as having sparked the modern civil rights era, the Supreme Court rules deliberate public school segregation illegal, overturning the "separate but equal" doctrine of Plessy v. Ferguson. Chief Justice Earl Warren, writing for a unanimous Court, notes that to segregate children by race "generates a feeling of inferiority as to their status in the community that may affect their hearts and minds in a way unlikely ever to be undone." This indicates to me a degree of understanding that I doubt a true bigot could display. On the other hand Malcolm X, during his strict black nationalism incarnation, would have argued against desegregation. Or rather argued for black people living an independently separate life while preparing to return to Afrika. Black's membership is less in doubt. I understand he admitted to it after becoming Chief Justice. Some say he showed himself to be distant from the Klan by his rulings others not. Truman's membership, though brief indicates perhaps a willingness to Opportunism. One thing that is not in dispute is that the JBS campaigned to smear Warren as a communist sympathiser. This document could be part of that. In 1965 the JBS secretly offered to Ronald Reagan to support OR oppose him according to how he thought they might best help him. Murky politics. On the whole I think the fact that such prominent individuals may have been Klan members says something about the climate in which Kennedy was killed.
  8. Hi Blair, welcome to the Forum. the main aim of these threads is education, not everybody lurking here has the same depth of knowledge on the assasination as your good self. I agree posner talks crap, and is probably being well paid to do so. (He is house writer at random house, so as long as he plays pretty he gets to eat at the masters table) All I want to do is expose his little games, deconstruct him if you like, on one thread, so his poison is contained. And whether we like it or not, this guy sells shed loads of books, and either he or a handy clone always gets wheeled out on the TV specials to pass the W/C valium. If we dont take him seriously others, with much less knowledge will. All the best.....Steve. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Steve, as a newbie, a member of the 'don't throw the baby out with the bathwater' school, and posessing an independent brain wired with some degree of discernment, I wonder if you could continue this post. I'm finding it interesting.
  9. Me too Terry, while there are elements of protecting economic interests involved I wonder if there is actually some kind of psychosis involved, a dissociation similar to that of the stereotypical mass murderer. Many of the 'secret' organisations that powerful individuals get involved in encourage a 'them' and 'us' mentality. Peasant, master etc (see history of skull & bones for example, KKK as well, the Nazi party etc) In other words a sanctioned group of psychopaths wreaking havoc on a relatively decent world. JohnD <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is merely the psychosis of wealth; power; and position, and is quite common among those who are nurtured in this environment. Irrelevant as to whether yankee or southerner. Tom P.S. Don't hold your breath awaiting the human race to wake up and notice or even care that much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is when researching the Masons that I come across the greatest amount of 'smoke'. There is so much mysticism and symbolism there that it becomes almost impossible to separate fact from fiction. However, I don't think it's impossible. Much of the stuff there can be crossreferenced. These secret organisations, Skull&Bones(boneheads, bonesmen), Masons, KKK, did/do exist. It's memeberships do include major players. Their structure and 'rules' provide a society wherein likeminded individuals, free of scrutiny, can meet. When a new settlement was made, apart from means of transport, a masonic meeting place and a post office were among the first things established. In the center of Dealey plaza, the bit that's now lawn and roads, stood a Masonic hall. If one looks at records of individuals from the civil war onwards, most prominent ones were members of the Masons. I think it's important to differentiate the mason's from its members. There are so many levels of membership it forms 'societies within societies'. I've spent a bit of time trying to find Harry. With very little success. There is a record who may have been his father who was a secrewtary in one of the small masonic lodges in Oklahoma where Harry came from. He calls his father a goatherd. It could possibly be a reference to the use of GAOUT or as sometimes written GOAT from Mason lore. The FreeMasons were a part of everyday in outback southern life. It's a name with predominately Scottish roots. Many scots 'escaped' religious persecution by emigrating to America. Their 'big' enemy were the papists. Also, the Goat as opposed to the Lamb is used in spooky symbolism in secret societies. Maybe his dad was a herder of the local KKK flock? See how 'cloudy' it gets? Harry's predeliction for word games perhaps makes it lessimprobabale. Also the southern Democrats were once referred to Goats. They formed the backbone of these organisations. The role those high up in the conspiracy could very well have been carried out within the secrecy of these bodies. The minions or 'lumpen' elements who did the dirty work need not know anything about the planners, and if they do, the 'rules' preclude disclosure. Then there is the derision and difficulty anyone who chooses to look into these things can experience. However, I think there are ways through it. There's a LOT of smoke, which shouldn't come as a surprise.
  10. elaborating on the above therefore any information about evidence that is not first hand runs the risk of being tainted by these factors. Opinions are not facts. Attitudes are not facts. Feelings are not facts. Also just because someone may be correct in one thing doesn't mean the a re correct in all things. Similarly, if someone is wrong in one thing it doesn't mean the are wrong in all things. I think the legal system tends to give a false perception of truth in how it will discount evidence from certain sources because those sources have been shown faulty at some point, and vice versa. Hence the repeated exhortation, develop your own critical thinking. Be skeptical. Keep an open mind.
  11. John, it's possible you misunderstood my input. I was talking largely about a problem I have when evaluating evidence. My self. I am made up of a set of sense organs including mind that percieves the world. If like Van Gough I have an eye problem that makes me see predominately yellow then I may believe that the world is yellow. Or like Monet in later life , faithfully reproducing a world blurred by failing eyesight. There is the case of a man having his eyesight restored. He is then taken to a zoo and is placed in front of a gorillas cage. The gorilla is sitting in the middle of the cage, it's pointed out to the man but he can't see it. Next to the cage is a statue of a gorilla. The man closes his eyes and runs his hands over the statue. Now when he looks he can see the gorilla. Someone else may have been bitten by a gorilla at some point. The gorilla bares its teeth, the person sees a fierce dangerous gorilla. Another person has a wonderful memory of playing with gentle animals, the gorilla is smiling. Gross examples to be sure (gross in the sense of simple or broad), but they illustrate what I was getting at. The physical characteristics of the sense organ. The familiarity with that which is percieved. The reaction to that which is percieved. The physical characteristics in this case that may hinder proper evaluation of evidence could be overcome for example by recognising that the eye poorly differentiates grayscale at the extreeme ends of scale therefore tends to see large areas of black or white where in fact there is a lot of texture or shape. This can be overcome by first recognising that this problem exists and secondly using means such as digital enhancements to compensate. Thus evidence can be evaluated in a more correct way. Not recognising the importance of 'familiarity' can lead one to miss important evidence. Often by revisiting something again and again slowly something emerges that otherwise may be missed. If one has had unpleasant experiences at the hands of cops or the mob or communists or any recognisable entity, then one tends to tag a label onto evidence according to that experience. This leads on to the vulnerability an 'unaware' mind places itself in by forming relationships with say other researchers or with groups of evidence. Love IS blind. Love is also good. A balanced attitude to evidence based on what it is rather than what one may feel about it can over come this problem. I also did go into the hindrances one experiences in not being able to free ones mind from such things as fear, ego, and other layers of pre judice. In doing so I was talking about the self. Or my self. Threough these filters the evidence comes to me. There may very well be nothing wrong with the evidence. It may in fact be starkly simple and clear. My filters, or any researchers adopted or involuntary filters may obscure this clarity.
  12. wonderful idea Lee, I wonder if it could be extended to all media. For example recordings of radio broadcasts. Some of these were made by stations in other places by ringing a dallas local person and asking them to place the phone next to a radio, so a recording might exist in some surprising places. That photo is a good example. Not only the door, but also it gives a good view of seating locations etc. Many photos regarded as useless by others may contain just the info looked for by someone else. Robin Unger has a superb collection on his site. I would also want to see those photos discarded because of some fault but the negatives may still exist and one mans rubbish is anothers treasure.
  13. los desaparecidos Having done a bit of Rambling a la Keourac in my youth I know how easy it can be for those in the underbelly of society to disappear. Clyde Snow, forensic anthropologist, when helping to train investigators following the fall of the Generals in Argentina, used a statistical technique developed by himself that was later used to help convict perpetrators of the Disappeared. One problem they had was locating the graves. The bodies were usually logged as 'unknown'. So he compiled a list of all unknowns over a period extending pre and post Junta. Then by checking the frquency against an average he could pinpoint cemeteries to check. In this way he was also able to crossreference torture centers and other localities involved in the disposal of human beings. I wonder if anyone has done a similar study of the U.S. equivalent of the 'unknown', John and Jane Doe, in the Dallas area in the period following the assassination? Obviously the obstructions createdby those who don't want these individuals identified, many of whom existed within the system in locked wards, mental institutions and jails, would make this difficult but not impossible.
  14. Wade, thinking about it, it seems to me that this is probably what happened: Someone is watching the motorcade from the 5th floor window of the jail. Something happens that makes this person think Kennedy was shot from the post office. Very quickly this information is conveyed to the DPD who straightaway rings Harry. Who, after checking, returns the call and says : No, it didn't come from here. Nov 29, the WC is announced. F.L. Blunt hears about the witness around the 11th of December, 1963. He knows from the person who tells him that the DPD has discounted it, (also, for the same reasons of fear as the purported 'Umbrella Man' stated as being reasons for him not coming forward in Dallas, the climate of fear that the ruling bodies had Dallas gripped in at that period of history) so he rings just past midnight to the 'Bureau', reports it and is told it will be checked, and he is reminded of the Warren Commission is looking into it. So, thinking it's in good hands, Blunt does nothing further. The WC is delivered in Sep 24'th 1964, none of the people Blunt knows have been interviewed, there is no mention of the Post Office. So he now rings the Washington Bureau. Repeats his earlier report. He is told it will be checked. He probably says 'that's what they told me last time, back in dec'63'. So this time it is checked officially. What is also done is create a report that discredits any possible witnesses including Blunt as secondary witness. This report then disappears, appears redacted in a witheld section of the released material. Hopefully Blunt or the witness/s weren't redacted.
  15. Wade, far out, man. Hope you don't mind me logging this here. At 12:20 A.M., 12-11-63 Blunt made a person to person call from Dallas, Texas, to Mr. DeLoach and was referred to SA Arthur R. Ware, Night Supervisor, Special Investigative Division. Blunt stated he had information that 17 individuals, wardens and inmates, were in the hospital ward on the fifth floor of the Dallas County Jail and from there witnessed the assassination of former President Kennedy. He alleged that none of these individuals have been interviewed on this matter. Blunt said that their information would indicate a search should be made of the top of the Dallas Post Office building. On December 1, 1964 Fay Leon Blunt, Dallas, Texas, phoned the FBI at Washington, D.C. stating that 17 individuals in the Hospital Ward of the 5th floor of the Dallas County Jail had witnessed the assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963; however, Blunt stated that none of these witnesses have ever been interviewed. Addendum General investigative Division 12-11-64 With regard to the allegation related by Blunt, no information concerning this matter has been previously received by the Bureau and no one known to have been incarcerated in the Dallas County Jail has ever come forward to volunteer information. The feasibility of making an observation from the fifth floor of the Dallas County Jail is not known; however, it appears quite remote that anyone further removed than the immediate vicinity of the assassination could furnish any information of pertinence. However, in view of the allegation a teletype is being sent to Dallas instructing them to determine the feasibility of such an observation and if so, promptly interview the informant and initiate logical investigation to establish the identity of alleged witnesses to the assassination. Document # 124-10058-10044 Is a one page document from Director to SAC, Dallas dated 12/11/64. This is an instruction to Dallas to investigate Blunt's claim. Document # 124-10058-10043 Is a two page document from SAC, Dallas to Director dated 12/15/64. This is an airtel in response to above. It contains the same information as document #124-10027-10235. This is the original airtel however, and does contain two paragraphs not in the other copy. (Document # 124-10027-10235 Is a 25 page document from Robert P. Gemberling to SAC, Dallas. It is dated January 1/27/65. 20 pages are missing) On December 14, 1964 Sheriff Bill Decker, Dallas County Sheriffs Office, Dallas, Texas advised that thorough investigation was conducted at the Dallas County Jail immediately subsequent to the assassination and no witnesses to same were located among inmates. In view of the above information and observation, the Dallas Office does not contemplate pursuing this matter further, UACB. (Someone writes in "I fully agree".) Document # 124-10230-10093 Is a copy of the two pages from Document # 124-10027-10235 about Fay Leon Blunt's claim that 17 individuals in the Dallas jail saw the assassination and were never interviewed. Document # 124-10230-10098 Is a copy of the two pages from Document # 124-10027-10235 that deal with the investigation of Fay Leon Blunt's claim. The two pages wherein the claim is basically dismissed is here, twice. There are no references to any of this in the Dallas city records. Blunt first alerted the Bureau in 11 december 63, then again in december 64. The report on the subsequent investigation was made in late january 65. Thirty odd (26) years later Harry states he was asked to investigate such claim immediately after the assassination!!! It seems that the report about shots from the Post Office were made at the time of the assassination. The official investigation report made at the time has not surfaced. There is no reference to any such investigation made when Decker announces a year later in response to FBI request for investigation that it is being investigated.* In the meantime the witnesses have flown, and in spite of persisting in seeing something done about it over a year period, looks like Blunt drops it. There must be a few witnesses within the 'system' who have never been interviewed. Dismissed as loonies before the case. Some might still be living, or have written or said something to someone who is. edit:: Decker refers to investigation made at time of assassination, but appears to provide no details. Nor are there any records or references in released DPD documents at Dallas City Archives. But it did happen. The reports referred to above are discussed in http://www.acorn.net/jfkplace/09/fp.back_i...ue/arrb_11.html by Joseph Backes : "A note of explanation on getting documents from the Archives. Since I last reviewed ARRB document releases and referred to many pages of documents as missing, as well as entire documents missing too, I have received a letter from the National Archives. The documents are not "missing" as such, but are in the JFK Records Collection. They are just not in the ARRB release boxes. I have been concentrating on those documents released by the ARRB as I know they will have the least redactions. The documents released by the ARRB and kept in "ARRB release boxes" are a courtesy for researchers to get in one go the documents being released by the ARRB. At least that is the way it should be, the way I thought it was, but it isn't. This letter states that some documents will not be reproduced in their entirety and kept in the ARRB release boxes."
  16. Self as a problem One tends to recognise and give added weight to familiar things. The information that enters the mind / body phenomena is filtered by the various sense organs in particular ways. Overlaying evaluation of evidence are layers of reaction that pre judge. This pre judice can be a problem if not guarded against. For example a 'right wing' person might find it very difficult to accept interpretations of evidence in ways that convict for example a republican politician. A 'left wing' person might look at the same evidence and find it difficult to convict castro, for example. Fear of ridicule. Peer pressure. Ego. lots of different mindsets that filter the information. For example, the accepted wisdom is that the motorcade was shifted to be closer to the assassins. I play with the contrasts : why wasn't the motorcade shifted to take it away from the assassins? Dead ends in some cases for sure, but as exercises in keeping the mind open perhaps useful.
  17. John, just read the following article from 1996 issue of American History magazine. -Nashville radiologist Dr. Randy Robertson asserts that it is clear from the x-rays and the placement of five specific skull pieces that Kennedy was hit twice, almost simultaneously - once from behind and then from the front. Speaking at the October 1995 COPA conference, Robertson went so far as to suggest that Bethesda's Dr. Finck and Dr. Humes lied in their Warren Commission testimony.- George <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Harry D. Holmes as the Dealey Plaza Post office representative of the CIA-FBI mail interception program (identified by Robert as CIA-FBI mail-interception program code named HT/LINGUAL [CIA] or Project HUNTER [FBI]. ) while reporting the Time magazine as being addressed to Oswalds Post Box he had opened a month previously (indicating that Oswald had notified the magazine of this change of address) also reported that in his interview with Oswald, that Oswald had stated that as a result of moving so much he did NOT announce changes of address but instead depended on the redirections for his mail to reach him. So, for some reason he considered it important to let Time magazine know he had opened a new mail box. Yet the apparent lack of use of the box (as indicated by Harry on inspecting it for dust) indicates mail was not being redirected to it. Dunno what it means , but its just another curious little thing about Harry. He had a fantastic memory yet couldn't remember key events. He was off to his regular church visit on sunday, yet on arriving there told his wife he might pop down to the Police station instead, where Fritz just happened to whisper an invitation to join the interview. As a result of his participation, the interview went over time, Ruby got into position and Oswald was shot. He was the only person to watch the assassination through binoculars, yet saw very little. He wandered around the site afterwards and picked up a piece of Kennedy and discarded it, yet he was an ex dental/medical student and should have recognised what it was. He managed to keep an open line to Washington when others were having difficulties. He managed to 'lose' part of the post box application form, lied to the WC about Post Office manual procedures to explain it, yet was never questioned about this again. He was an FBI informant, yet spoke negatively about them. He was the final authority with regards to the agencies discounting reports of a shot from the post office. These and other curiosities makes Harry one of the most least investigated people connected to the asassination. The general, apart from very few other comments, opinion of this seems to be summed up by a post stating an opinion that "I don't think there's anything fishy about the guy."
  18. Well, Tom, you might well be right that it does seem suspicious that the order was made out "so nice and neatly with perfect block letter printing." However, I would like to point out that in my experience in handling historical documents written by hand, much depends on the particular writer. I have examined documents written by military men, politicians, secretaries, clerks, officials of fraternal societies, etc., and believe me the neatness of the handwriting depends solely on who does the writing. Some people, usually clerks or secretaries, are punctiliously neat and everything they write is neat and legible. So, no, I don't find it particularly glaring or evidential that the writing on this order happens to be neatly written. The trick though here would be to find out if this document is the exception among other orders written by WC & Kleins during this period to find out if this might be an after-the-fact order written by someone other than a WC & Kleins employee. That is, if the "suspicious" neatness of the block lettering makes it stand out from other provably period documents prepared by the WC & Kleins company. Best regards Chris George <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Perhaps in one manner or another, we will get back to the "block" printing. However, there are far more substantial indications of the "fallacies" of the rifle ordering than this. Tom <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If one rotates the form 90 degrees and flips it horizontally then what appears to be typed on the rear of the form (or the rear of the page that the photocopy was taken from) the word RUBY in typewriter courier font.
  19. Political opportunism is a commonly adopted tactic used in order to maintain a degree of control over issues. In a cynical sense it can be seen as a form of infiltration or deep entry into issues in order to at a later date exert control. In the light of such a perspective it is reasonable to see that as a result of the automatic identification by many people of bigotry as a cause in the Kennedy assassination there would be a tendency amongst those opposed to civil rights to shift towards, what now became seemingly inevitable, active support. The KKK also got on the 'band wagon' by dropping or diminishing their opposition to Catholics. The 'former members of' group continued to grow. So, in summary, opportunism is a covert adherence to principles while displaying an overt change. The tool to use by those who regard overt adherence to principle as the 'better way', is simply that : Maintaining Principle. In the face of a solidly maintained principle the covert attacks reveal themselves. This is the great undoing of the right. Through the millinnea the slow dismantling of slavery, feudalism, patriarchy has, in spite of reaction, been achieved by those who steadfastly maintain principle. People like Martin Luther King, Ghandi, Kennedy, Palme, Lennon, the final edition of Malcolm X, and others recognise this and the pinnacle of their philosophy is the principle of non violent struggle. In this struggle ultimately these people and others are killed. What must be recognised is that these people are aware of this as a possible outcome and they make a decision about whether their life or the principle is more important. Ultimately reaction has no answer to this. Except for more violence.
  20. Jim, George et al, interesting thinking. The brother of the guy who made 'taxi driver', Leonard Schrader, made a 'shockumentary' named 'the killing of america', consisting wholly of real footage, with a commentary documenting a history of violence starting with the assassination of JFK through to Lennon, the 'rise' of the serial killer, the suburban sniper, mass suicides etc. I think it's interesting that Malcolm X is often left out of these discussions. Early in his public life he certainly was a polarising agent plus he had connections to the SWP (I don't know what those connections were, perhaps they were a group willing to give him a platform) at the same time that Oswald or his 'body double' was waving Militant newspapers around. His controversial comments on the Kennedy assassination plus his change of heart on black separatism after his trip to Mecca marginalised him within his previous affiliations and he was assassinated in 1965. By the assassination of Bobbie, it seems America was teetering on the brink of civil war. In a way I think that the youth who lived through the assassination of JFK had now learnt the lesson. Human life has little value. The children in dealey plaza in a way were the innocent victims. Having two sweet kids myself, it tears me apart to think what those poor kids went through in seeing the Presidents head explode. If the aim of the assassins was to gain control and to keep it by the means of 'divide and rule' then the concession to civil rights is perhaps just another brick in the wall.
  21. I am surprised to find that when I line up the two yellow stripes, the lamp post and kerb on a photo from the days of the assassination, the x marked on the street shown on contemporary photos (here marked in green) is different from the one I get from projecting Kennedy's head onto the street. The location in the vertical is not so exact as in the horizontal. But a difference here of a few meters appears to me to be significant. As I find it hard to believe that I would have discovered something new here, I'm interested in finding out what controversy exists around this issue for those who have choosen to use the disputed zfilm as a base.
  22. Other indicators of the thinking on mind control and manipulation can be found by studying the documents at these sites. The CIA takes this seriously and I think it's reasonable to assume that part of their involvement in this case has been and still is in seeking to direct covertly and overtly the debate. I suspect that they regard this as being 'patriotic'. The range of tactics are not just seeding disinformation, but also implying threats and social disgrace etc of various forms in order to steer weakminded or unaware individuals away from areas they wish to remain covered towards 'safe' areas. According to the following documants they attempt to take a scientific approach, enlisting the help of numerous academics and setting up research groups. Some of the people involved are of particular interest, for example : "(General William) Donovan hired a crew of talented and daring young men, many of whom completed their careers with the CIA: Stanley Lovell, George White, Richard Helms, Frank Wisner, and Dr. Sidney Gottlieb. Donovan also recruited the nation’s best scientific researchers—anybody who had talent and an idea—to work for him, without leaving their particular institutions. And he rallied prominent industrialists, a Who’s Who of the nation." Society for the Investigation of Human Ecology " By 1963, when the CIA manual (on interrogation) ( discussed at http://www.parascope.com/articles/0397/kubark06.htm ) was authored, the CIA counterintelligence staff had a sizable foundation of government-funded psychological research on which to base their guidebook. The manual's introduction states that "a principal source of aid [to interrogators] today is scientific findings. The intelligence service which is able to bring pertinent, modern knowledge to bear upon its problems enjoys huge advantages over a service which conducts its clandestine business in eighteenth century fashion." In fact, the manual argued, this knowledge "is of sufficient importance and relevance that it is no longer possible to discuss interrogation significantly without reference to the psychological research conducted in the past decade" " "In 1940, President Roosevelt asked a World War I General, William Donovan, to organize and head a U.S. intelligence gathering service—and a secret scientific research program. Between the two wars, General Donovan had become a very successful Wall Street lawyer. He knew everybody who mattered: politicians, tycoons, academics. They called him “Colonel” or “Wild Bill.” The new agency was called the OSS (Organization for Strategic Services). From the very beginning, bold and imaginative thinking was its rule." - http://www.hypnotism.org/Research.htm
  23. As mentioned I am now in a period of not having opportunity to post much. Hopefully in a few weeks that'll change but it might not. I keep scouring the net for photos of a particular period, namely DPD internal around the homicide office after Oswalds arrest, if anyone knows of a good source, pls post. Is the cross on the street of present day Dallas regarded as the correct location of Kennedy's head at the moment of headshot?
