Who among us are 100% correct? In this field, If any of us turned out to be 50% right, that would be pretty damn good.

  3. The two half dollar bills enigma is a very good puzzle and I’ve posted about it before. I’ve refined my solution, however, and as a favor to Steve, I won’t go on and on, page, after page, after page. This will hopefully be brief: Two sets of serial numbers on the half-bills: “38355215” and “35031413” Two sets of letters associated with these serial numbers: “F A” and “F A” Step #1: Add the two sets of numbers: 38355215 +35031413 =73386628 Step #2: Anagram the numbers in the answer above into something meaningful (and hopefully intended): “2766. 88-33” Step #3: Convert the letters “F A” and “F A” to numbers using the key at the bottom, then add those numbers together: 50 +50 =100 Step #4. Combine the “100” answer with the “2766. 88-33” answer: “100. 2766. 88-33” Step #5: Answer two questions: (1) What is the significance of 2766? (2) What is another way of expressing the number 100? (Tip: think Italian/Roman) The answers are: “C 2766” Step #6: Combine “C 2766” with the other part of the answer: “C 2766. 88-33” Step #7. I only got involved in this because of my hypothesis that Richard Case Nagell was they guy running Lee Harvey Oswald and his “twin”. Richard, first as an Army Intelligence Officer, and later as an under-cover CIA type, had merged the identities of the two men in his charge. According to my hypothesis, Richard’s merging included official paperwork, impersonations, and, photographs. I have a great deal of respect for the late Jack White and I miss him too. I’m certainly no expert on his enormous photographic contributions, but do plan to study him when time permits. But since I’m getting most of my “information” from Richard Case Nagell’s puzzle system, it’s my current belief that from the time he entered the Marines until his death, most of the extant Oswald portraits are composites of Marina’s husband’s ears, and the face of his doppelganger. I am working on a future thread that will explain the reasons for my beliefs.

Hi Lance, You posted my statement below out of context and the effect was to alter my intended meaning: “I think Mr. Armstrong’s article has highlighted how the best and brightest assassination planners in the world appear to have designed the framing of Lee Oswald in such an absurdly inept manner that The Three Stooges should be green with envy.” Perhaps I should have put the word “APPEAR” in quotes. I go on to suggest that the reason that the individual framing elements are so filled with absurd contradictions is that Oswald and his crew, while appearing to follow the instructions from above that would have made it an open and shut case against Oswald, were actually double crossing the assassination planners by creating enigmas for all of us to notice. As far as I can tell, this is not Mr Armstrong’s point of view, but it’s mine. I agree with Mr. Armstrong that there were two Oswald's, but I think the two of them were secretly working together, creating a Banister/Phillips/Hoover/Dulles, nightmare. Tom

I think Mr. Armstrong’s article has highlighted how the best and brightest assassination planners in the world appear to have designed the framing of Lee Oswald in such an absurdly inept manner that The Three Stooges should be green with envy. As Mr. Armstrong so expertly points out, nearly every framing element falls to pieces on close examination. A well designed frame should have led to an open and shut case, but there are so many contradictions and impossibilities that that didn’t happen. There are a number of possibilities why this is so. My take is that Lee Oswald, his twin, and their handler, were secretly sabotaging Oswald’s patsy bona fides while also trying to sabotage the coup. In my amateurish way, I’ve been suggesting that they also left us a trove of explanatory puzzles to solve. My guess is that the sabotaging work of Oswald and his crew is why we’re still studying and talking about many of these things today. While getting a handle on the “big picture” is critical, I think the minutia surrounding Oswald’s frame-up is important too.
  7. It looks like there might be somebody there, yes. Here's what I think I see: At 1 second, Lovelady's face gets lit up by the sun, at 2 seconds he wipes his forehead or something, and in seconds 3 and 4 there appears to be somebody standing to his left, and somebody behind and above Lovelady.
  8. WHITE BLACK Jekyll and Hyde maybe? “Jekyll and Hyde” anagrams to: “ A. J. HYDELL KEY: DN” The "HYDELL" name above has a "Y" in it that should be an "I". And there is a "KEY" to fix this problem, "DN". “DN” is a simple substitution cypher, and in the decoding world, this is elementary kid’s stuff. A "DN" cypher looks like this: D..E..F..G..H..I..J..K..L..M..N..O..P...Q..R..S..T..U..V..W..X..Y..Z..A..B..C N..O.P..Q..R..S.T..U..V..W...X…Y..Z..A..B..C..D..E..F..G...H...I…J..K..L..M Find the Hydell “Y” in the top row of letters in the cypher, and it decodes to an “I” in the bottom row . The intended answer is revealed: “KEY: A. J. HIDELL” Edit: I’m not necessarily arguing that this particular “White/Black” thing had intentional meaning, but suggesting that the concept of this sort of "white/black", "good/bad", "left/right", dichotomy was apparently used or exploited in creating the Lee Harvey Oswald persona. And I do think it likely that the "A. J. Hidell" alias had it's roots in "Jekyll and Hyde". "Dr. Jekyll's" full name was "Doctor Henry Jekyll", and this anagrams to: "JEKYLL HYDE ROOT. RCN" "RCN" is "Richard Case Nagell", and according to my hypothesis, Richard was the puzzle maker, and he told Dick Russell that he had used the alias too. It seems to me that by utilizing Robert Louis Stevenson's contrast between Jekyll and Hyde, Richard was also making a comparison between both he and Lee's actual "good" nature, as opposed to the "evil" nuts they needed to appear as. "Richard Case Nagell" anagrams to: "A RADICAL R.L.S. CHANGE" The "R.L.S." above stands for author, "Robert Louis Stevenson". With a slight change, "Richard Case Nagell" anagrams to: "A R/L's RADICAL CHANGE" In the above anagram, "R/L's" is now referring to Richard and Lee. There's much more to this and I'll try to write about it on a more appropriate thread soon.

Being a luthier, I have a set of large calipers and just measured my head, chin to crown, at 9 5/8 inches. When I was 17, I was 6’ 1” and my hat size was 7 1/4. My body proportions are about normal, and Lee Oswald appeared about normal as well. Maybe this "13 inch head" is worthwhile for you to pursue, Sandy, and I’ll save my anagrams for another time so as not to go off topic. Well, maybe just a couple: Lee Oswald’s puzzle maker’s name, “RICHARD CASE NAGELL”, anagrams to: “L’S LARGE CIA HEAD. RCN” “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams to: “O, A VERY 'SWELL' HEAD” "Lee Harvey Oswald" anagrams to: "O HEAD-SWELL VARY '4'" And “Lee’s 13 inch head” anagrams to: “LH IS ENHANCED ‘4’” If indeed Lee’s head "varied" or was "enhanced" by 4 inches, then his actual head should be about 9 inches, a little smaller than mine. There seems to be quite a few “MC” enigmas surrounding Lee Oswald’s activities, almost as if there had been an enigma designer and salesman - a Lee Harvey Oswald Master of Ceremonies, as it were: Montreal, Canada enigmas Mannlicher Carcano enigmas Marine Corps enigmas Mexico City enigmas Mercury Comet stunt driving enigma MC Keown .300 Savage rifles enigma Minox Camera enigma Marina’s Camera-day in the backyard enigma Can you think of others? I have explored this a fair amount, but I will save my hypothetical behemoth for another thread.
  15. David Andrews and Paul, there seems to be some confusion about there being four extant identical visa-type photos. I can’t speak for David J, but I think he would agree: The two supposed pictures from the Cuban visa application are different - as if they were separate clicks of the camera. The two photos in the Dallas Police collage in my post above are also different - as if they were separate clicks of the camera. However, both sets of two pix are exactly the same - twin pairs of slightly different pictures. And it’s my view that this is because all four pictures came from the same click of a stereo 3D camera rotated 88 degrees (However, I think it’s deeper than that, because the photos are also composites of Lee Oswald’s ears, and Lee’s doppelganger/partner’s face). In my post yesterday, I provided what I believe are three sets of 3D images, and the letters “MC” might be one of Richard Nagell's planned unifying characteristics: (1) A Mexico City pair of 3D images (2) A Marine Corps pair of 3D images (3) A Mannlicher Carcano pair of 3D images I also think there would have been a fourth pair of Mannlicher Carcano 3D images - CE 133B had a 3D mate that went missing, just like 133C almost did. Nagell (possibly with first-class help), and Lee’s doppelganger/cohort took the photos to the Cuban Embassy. There could be many reasons why the Oswald person appeared to come unprepared, to come without pictures. One reason could be that the Oswald person was in the act of creating a memorable experience, and this way, he got to come back again and be even more memorable. Mexico City is too complicated for me, Paul. It makes my head hurt. I’m just trying to understand what appears to be a large collection of intentionally created letter/number puzzles surrounding Lee Oswald and the assassination.
  17. Opinion: I think Oswald and Company intentionally created this controversy and many others. Good find, David. I assume that Commission Exhibit 2788 is the right hand photo of a pair of photos found among Oswald’s possessions and photographed by the Dallas Police below: And I agree that CE 2788 is exactly the same as the “original” visa application photo. I also submit that the visa application “copy” photo, the one you believe has no staple, is exactly the same as the left hand picture in the Dallas Police photo above. Below are all four photos. The top two are supposedly from the visa application, and the bottom pair are the pair in Oswald's possessions photographed by the Dallas Police. As you said, David, the upper left and lower left are exactly the same photo. And I submit that the upper right and lower right are also identical. Had these photos been made in a commercial photo booth, all four would be different, but they are not. Below are both sets of identical photos overlaid at 50% opacity. It’s my hypothesis that Lee Oswald, his handler, and, Oswald’s impersonator had secretly and systematically double-crossed their bosses. That they were simultaneously trying to prevent the assassination, and sabotage Oswald’s patsy bona fides. When rotated 88 degrees, the three sets of photos below display a 3D images. The bottom set are CE133A and 133C, and they display vivid 3D of Oswald’s backyard, and Oswald’s pasted on head. The middle set of photos are from Oswald’s (probably fake) DD Form 1173 and Oswald’s clearly fake Selective Service card bearing the name Alek J Hidell. It has always been thought that these two photos were identical, but they are not. And, of course, the top set of photos are the visa pictures under discussion. While they display 3-D, they are not very impressive because they are of such low quality, and there is no background to give perspective to the 3D. Lack of background perspective is also evident in the middle set of photos, but the pix are of better quality. The 3D is most obvious in the chin area. It seems likely to me that Richard Nagell built a unifying characteristic to the three sets of 3D images above, the initials “MC”. "Stereo Realist" anagrams to: "LEE'S ROSETTA. R/I" ("R/I" can stand for Oswald's handler and impersonator, "Richard and Igor", but the puzzle is much bigger than that) To view the three sets of 3D images, one needs to get a hold of good quality Stereoscope, and there are plenty of vintage examples out there. Ask your friends and relatives and you’ll surely come up with one. It’s possible to view these directly on you computer monitor with many of the Stereoscopes. For proper viewing, Oswald’s nose on the left photo, for example, should be very close to 3 inches from Oswald’s nose in the right photo. Do whatever you need to do to achieve this 3-inch relationship. David, if you come up with the mate to the CE 2788 you posted, I think we would have a much better 3D image of the visa pictures. I tried to keep anagrams to a minimum in this post, but I am working on a more complete explanation of the Oswald and Company anagram puzzles associated with the 3D pictures above (I might be a while). Just one more anagram: “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams to: “LHO SWAY REVEALED”

If you have a photo that is not on the web and belongs to you, find a service that allows third party posting and store your photos there.   23. Hi Steve, I value and appreciate your fine work. Your request concerning page 555 in TMWKTM must have referred to the 1993 edition of Russell’s book. I don’t find the Nov 7, 1963 cable in the newer edition, but what Dick Russell wrote about Dinkin on pages 349 through 352 in his 2003 edition of TMWKTM is fairly interesting and informative: In March 1962, a Army private first class Eugene B Dinkin was assigned to the 529th Ordnance Company in Metz, France, “as a crypto operator [who] was awarded the requisite security clearance,” according to Lieutenant Colonel John C. Lippincott of the Pentagon’s Legislative Liaison Office. 32 A crypto clearance is among the highest that the military gives, making Dinkin, in effect, part of the National Security Agency, the CIA’s Top-Secret communications counterpart. Until 1976, when portions of some documents on Dinkin were finally released, everything supplied to the Warren Commission about him was withheld from the public. But an FBI report of April 3, 1964, recounted Dinkin’s projection - several weeks before the assassination - “that a conspiracy was in the making by the ‘military’ of the United States, perhaps combined with an ‘ultra-right economic group.’. . .” 33 According to since-declassified CIA files, Dinkin’s warning was known to a number of people before November 22, 1963. It began on October 22, 1963, when Dinkin writes that he mailed a letter to Attorney General Robert Kennedy. Dinkin said, “I did offer in this letter a warning that an attempt to assassinate President Kennedy would occur on November 28th, 1963; that if it were to succeed, blame would then be placed upon a Communist or Negro, who would be designated the assassin; and believing the conspiracy was being engineered by elements of the Military, I did speculate that a military coup might ensue. I did request of the Attorney General that he dispatch a representative of the Justice Department to Metz, France to discuss this warning….” Dinkin realized, he continued, that his letter of Robert Kennedy had an “extremely minimal . . . probability of . . . coming into the direct attention of the Attorney General.” So Dinkin suddenly left his unit. On October 25, he set out to try and contact certain European ambassadors in the nearby nation of Luxembourg, in hopes that his message would then filter through their intelligence networks back to the United States. Nobody would give him the time of day except the Israeli ambassador to Luxembourg, who, Dinkin writes, advised him how best to present his case at the American embassy there. Dinkin says, “At the U.S. Embassy I was interviewed by Charge d’Affaires Mr. [first name unknown] Cunningham, who told me that the Ambassador was playing tennis and was therefore unavailable. I did relate to Mr. Cunningham that I had information indicative of a political assassination to occur in late November in the United States, and he did then guarantee to convey this message to Ambassador [FNU] Rivkin, who would notify me at my military base of an appointment.” A week passed, and no such notice came. Then, Dinkin explains, “I did however learn through the military grapevine that I was to be locked up as a psychotic. I did on November 2nd, 1963 obtain a signed and officially stamped leave permit from the commanding officer of Metz General Depot, and when summoned back to the CO’s office to be told that the leave was cancelled, having concealed the signed form, I did then tear up a blank form. That evening I left Metz, France by train and used the signed leave permit to gain entry to Stitzerland on the morning of November 3rd, 1963.” Thus Private Dinkin went AWOL, and his quest grew stranger still. On November 6 he showed up at the U.N. press office in Geneva where, failing to find the American correspondent he was seeking, he told his tale to “the owner-editor of the Geneva Diplomat.” The CIA verified this in a document prepared for the Warren Commission by Richard Helms on May 19, 1964, and released in 1976 with Dinkin’s name deleted. “Immediately after the assassination the CIA [deleted]reported allegations concerning a plot to assassinated President Kennedy that were made by Pfc. [deleted], U.S. Army, serial number [deleted] of 6 and 7 November 1963, in Geneva while absent without leave from his unit in Metz, France.” In other words, someone with the CIA was aware, at least “immediately after the assassination,” that Dinkin had made such “allegations” two weeks prior. After describing Dinkin’s appearance at the press office, the CIA file continued: “Around 26 November 1963, after President Kennedy had been assassinated, a Geneva journalist named Alex des Fontaines, stringer for Time-Life and correspondent for Radio Canada, was reported to be filing a story to the Paris office of Time-Life recounting Private [deleted] visit to Geneva and quoting [deleted] as having said that “they” were plotting against President Kennedy and that “something” would happen in Texas….” On the evening of November 6, Dinkin writes that he left Switzerland by train and arrived in Frankfurt, West Germany, the following morning. “I proceeded on that date to speak to the editor of the Overseas Weekly, who did regard my warning to be farfetched, and did recommend that I return in haste to the military base to avoid an AWOL charge being converted to Desertion charge.” So Private Dinkin journeyed on to Bonn, where the next afternoon, “I decided that the only remaining alternative would be to return to Metz General Depot and try to deceive the authorities with a story that I had been successful in attending to a “political matter” in Switzerland. Upon my return to Metz on the evening of November 8th, 1963, I did maintain this line with CIC [Army Counter Intelligence Corps] officer Mr. [FNU] McNair, who had been assigned to conduct the investigation [into Dinkin’s disappearance]. I was then notified that I was under arrest and spent the next five days in the depot jail. On November 13th, 1963 I was “hospitalized” at Landstuhl General Hospital in a closed psychiatric ward and was kept virtually incommunicado for approximately one week.” Private Dinkin was still in the hospital ward when, on the evening after the assassination, he says he was visited “by a gentleman claiming to be a “Secret Service agent” who had flown to Europe to interview me regarding the letter written to the Attorney General. He asked the following questions and my answers were as follows: (1) “Do you believe it was the Right or the Left?”Answer: “The Right”. (2) “Why was the date changed from November 28th to November 22nd?”Answer: “I knew of exact date and gave November 28th as an approximate date.” “I then informed the gentleman that under the circumstances of being locked up in a psychiatric ward I would give the government absolutely no information.” Dinkin continues, “Upon being transferred on December 5th, 1963 to Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. I began receiving “therapy” to help me understand that my warning of the assassination had been “coincidental” and represented a projection of hostility toward authority figures in my family and a displacement of my internal conflicts about inability to adjust to military life. In order to “get well” I was to understand that in approaching European ambassadors I was “really looking for attention and assistance to obtain psychiatric treatment.”…I was let to understand that if my condition did not improve that I could be treated with ECT [electric shock treatment] and I consequently feigned cooperation and understanding of my unfortunate condition (schizo-assassination prognostication) and pretended to participate in group therapy and pharmacological treatment (I faked swallowing pills throughout)…. I was given an injection of a strong drug which left me dazed and was then introduced to a “psychologist from Case Institue of Cleveland” and told that be was conducting a research project requiring my cooperation. I was then required to free associate to a list of words while a tape recorder was in process of recording….” What was happening to Private Dinkin? Was his “therapy” intended to alter or nullify what he may have known in advance about the assassination? Shortly thereafter, he was released from Walter Reed - and the U.S. Army - on a medical discharge. Dinkin’s name first came up in the Garrison investigation, wherein interviews with some of Dinkin’s former Army associates led to the conclusion that he had been hospitalized until he memorized a cover story.
