Thanks David. As always you are a fountain of information. Maybe this is a wild goose chase, but you had been making the point earlier that the two visa applications, one the original and the other a copy, didn’t line up. And of course the two photos didn’t line up on the page either. My interest is a little different - I don’t think the two photos you posted are “exactly” the same version, but two different clicks of the camera. If that’s true, would this be important? If you do think it would be important if the two photos turned out to be separate clicks of the camera, perhaps other members would weigh in on this observation. Comparing the noses on the two photos, the left picture appears to have been taken slightly from the right of straight on, and the right photo taken slightly from the left. Also, the head in the right photo is tilted slightly up, and the right photo slightly down. Compare the two photos in Sandy Larsen's last post on the previous page - I can't seem to get them posted here. While you're at it, read Larry Hancock's last post, I just buried it - sorry. Tom

If I’ve got my research correct, Jerry’s sister is Janice Odom who was the director of development for foundation and organization relations at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I think she retired recently. Husband’s name, James/Jim. Maybe somebody in that neck of the woods should interview her. Janice’s son, Jerry’s nephew, used to own a golf course in the Corpus Cristi area but I can’t locate him right now. Ty wrote: “Could it be possible that this episode was an attempt to "abort"? I’m going to attempt to explain the strange apparent mistake in the “Lee H Oswald” entry on the September 26th Flecha Roja Bus Line register below: The last letter in “Oswald” should be a “D”, but it’s not. And it’s also ambiguous in that while it looks like a “J”, it could also be regarded as a “T”. “LEE H OSWALJ”, or, “LEE H OSWALT”. This “J” or “T” option, I submit, was intentional, and I’ll get to those two letters in a moment. But first a little background. There are many enigmas surrounding Lee Oswald’s relationship to, and possible involvement in, the assassination. And many, if not most, of these enigmas involve there being too many Lee Oswald’s. I’m not going to list them, you all know what they are, but Oswald’s supposed trip the Mexico City appears to involve a slew of Lee Oswald impersonations. This, I submit, was by design and the genesis for this stunt, along with many other stunts, was an anagram of “Lee Harvey Oswald”: “HAVE LO SLEW READY” Our first optional spelling of Lee’s name on the bus register above is, “LEE H OSWALJ”. This anagrams to: “LO, A JEH SLEW” Since Oswald and Company (“ICO” = Igor, Case, Oswald) had a knack for packing several pertinent anagrams into one set of letters, I’m going to guess that the following anagram of “LEE H OSWALJ” is also both intended and true: “JH’S LEE, AWOL” Meaning, I think, he was neither on the bus or in Mexico City. Next is an anagram of the second optional spelling of Lee’s name, “Lee H Oswalt”: “THE LO, A SLEW” Once again, I’m going to guess that the next two anagrams of “Lee H Oswalt” are both intended and true: (1) “LHO/WES TALE” (2) "WES, HE ALT LO" As I’ve opined before, Wesley Frazier, an apparently competent “civilian”, was recruited into ICO largely because of the anagram possibilities inherent in his name, and because of where his sister lived. I’m going guess that Wesley Frazier took the bus ride posing as “Lee H Oswalt”. Although Igor Vaganov was Lee’s primary double (and possibly on the bus as well), Wesley appears to have filled in as an LHO impersonator at the Irving Barber Shop, and as the LHO body-double in the BYPs. Here’s a couple BYP “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams: “L HEAD OVERLAY WES” “H OVER WESLEY LAD” Here is another “SLEW” example brought up by David Josephs on another thread, “Lee Oswald” enigmatically appearing on a guest register at The Fox and Hound restaurant in Wisconsin on Sept 14, 1963. Once again, as in “OSWALT/OSWALJ”, we need to study what the entry actually says, not what it is supposed to be. The “LEE OSWALD” looks just fine, but the date is both ambiguous and incomplete. There is only the month, “9”, and not the day. But is that really a “9”? Typewriters can make a “9” like that, but it’s unusual to put a curly tail on a penned number “9”. As in the “OSWALT/OSWALJ” bus entry discussed earlier, I submit that individually, both “9” and “g” are in play. Let’s first assume that it is the number “9”, meaning September, and the person making the entry on The Fox and Hound register was merely lax in entering the full date. The key to the person’s intentional laxness is in an anagram of the full line entry, “9, LEE OSWALD, DALLAS TEXAS”, which anagrams to: “LEE OSWALD’S LAX DATE: A L’S 9” Continuing to regard the ambiguous symbol as a “9”, we can make this anagram of “9, LEE OSWALD, DALLAS TEXAS”: “A O LAX DATE 9 LESS 3 AS WELL” The number “3” came from simply translating a letter “D” using the letter/number key at the bottom of this page. So in the expression, “A O LAX DATE 9 LESS THREE AS WELL”, we get the answer “6”, which can now be translated to the letter “g”. Our anagram answers have just pointed out the ambiguous nature of the entry on The Fox and Hound guest register. “g Lee Oswald, Dallas Texas” can now be anagrammed. For example: “EGAD! DALLAS TEXAS LO SLEW!” Returning to the bus trip from Laredo, I’m going to guess that there was a heavy slew of LHO impersonators departing, all working for ICO, creating enigmatic anomalies designed to mess up Hoover’s framing of the real LHO. “LEE HARVEY OSWALD” anagrams to: “LAREDO HEAVY SLEW” There are hundreds of things like this in the ICO puzzle system, but that’s all for now. “Igor Vladimirs Vaganov” anagrams to: “MR VV RAN SILVIA ODIO GAG” According to my highly subjective puzzle information, the Silvia Odio gag happened on September 24 and was designed by Richard Case Nagell (who intentionally took himself out several days before). Leon O, Leopoldo, and, Angelo, were Lee Oswald, Igor Vladimirs Vaganov, and, David Atlee Phillips. The Odio incident is a major topic of the 88 puzzles contained in Oswald’s Historic Diary - it is puzzle number 24. A few puzzles suggest that the S Odio incident was one of Richard Case Nagell’s trade marks. For example, “Micro Dots” anagrams to: “RC ‘TM’: S ODIO” “Micro Dots” is in Oswald’s address book on the “J” page, which is page #24. “J” translates to the number “9”, hence, just one indication of this date, “9/24”. Working strictly from the puzzles, the purpose for the Odio incident is not clear to me, but I think it was a sting of some sort against Phillips. I also think that “Igor Vladimirs Vaganov” is a made-up name, and from at least 1960 thru 1963, the person, IVV, was Oswald’s double, he was the H&L people’s “Lee”, and he was working with LHO and RCN, not against them. "Igor Vladimirs Vaganov" anagrams to: "A LO DRIVING ORGASM, A IVV" (Downtown Lincoln Mercury gag) Here’s another “Igor Vladimirs Vaganov” anagram: “R’S VIVID ANAGRAM LOGO: IV” All very subjective so far. Hi Chris, I think I have an opinion. The left side of the doorway on the east wall butts up against the adjacent wall (the north wall). The doorway on the north wall, however, does not butt up against the adjacent wall, there is a space of a foot or so between the door molding and the corner of the room. In the first photo of your first post, we cannot see an obvious room corner, and there could be two reasons for this: (1) we are looking at the doorway on the east wall and the room corner is obscured by the left door molding in the photo, or, (2) the photo depicts the couch on the north wall but is so devoid of pixels that the corner of the room is invisible to us. However, if you study the door molding in the first photo (the women in the living room photo), the left door molding is wider than the right door molding. Having built several houses, I can easily imagine why a carpenter might do this. If you have a doorway to trim out that butts up against an adjacent wall, you have the problem of sheetrocking and mudding that tiny little corner and it will be nearly impossible to paint the small gap between the molding and the adjacent wall. Much easier to use wider molding in that spot and almost no one will ever notice. Now, below is the link to the photo you posted of the east wall. Chris, if you could enlarge the right hand portion of your kitchen photo, we could see that doorway on the right better. Sliding pocket doors require a 6 inch wall, and that appears to be a 6 inch wall. The wall under discussion runs east and west down the center of the house, and from a construction point of view, a 6 inch wall down the center makes sense because it can support all the rafters and ceiling joists (in the '60s, most interior and exterior walls were 4 inches). If it is a pocket door, then there was a door leading from the living room to the kitchen, and it may have been merely unnoticed, because when it's open (in its pocket in the wall), which is most of the time, it's un-noticable. Tommy thinks the kitchen look new-ish, do you know when the kitchen photo was taken, Chris?

I’ve added new material to the post above, and this is a short continuation of that post. In several letters, Lee Oswald floated the idea that he would be relocating to the Washington DC/Baltimore MD area. Here is an anagram gem of “Washington DC, Baltimore MD”: “GEM: MR OSWALD NOT INHABIT DC” and it’s corollary anagram: “e.g. C’MON, MR OSWALD INHABIT D.T.” (“D.T.” is Dallas, Texas) I think I see where these Oswald relocation puzzles might be going and I will continue working on them in the coming days. Does anyone happen to know if this photo of John F Kennedy was in general circulation in 1963? It's also slightly interesting that Kennedy wore white and the Oswald figure wore black for their respective Leaning Tower of Pisa imitations.

And also keep in mind that while maintaining his 4 degree tilt, “he” raised his rifle and papers, arguably without moving his feet. Add ten or fifteen pounds to your left foot, Sandy, and see how easy it becomes. But how somebody did the 4 degree Leaning Tower of Pisa stunt is not as important as why. I hypothesize it was because most of the strange anomalies in the BYP are present in anagrams of Lee Harvey Oswald’s name. Dozens of anomalies surrounding Lee Oswald could have been explained by Lee in a court of law, and I submit that world-class puzzle solvers and anagrammers would have sworn that the ICO puzzle system was the real deal. Hmm, “Leaning Tower of Pisa” is an Italian thing, like the Carcano, and “Leaning Tower of Pisa” anagrams to: “NOTE: A WES F, LO, PAIRING” And the initials of “Leaning Tower of Pisa” are: “L TOP” That could mean that Wes F was on the bottom, was the guy doing the leaning. I’ve anagrammed my name and dozens of my friends. Once in a while I’ve found anagrams that pertain to them in some interesting way. Yet the names of “Lee Harvey Oswald”, “Igor Vladimirs Vaganov”, and, “Richard Case Nagell” are literally swimming in a sea of anagrams that pertain in an informative way to many if not most of the strange anomalies surrounding the assassination. These guys were low-level spooks and at least two of them were as smart as they come. They not only learned how to communicate information through their anagram puzzles, they told us a great deal about the assassination scenario we’ve been puzzling over for more than fifty years. That’s my hypothesis. I wish I was half as good at this as they were. Riddle: Why did Oswald and his twin (Vaganov) go to the movies where “War is Hell” was showing? Ray and Sandy, my guess, based on my highly subjective puzzle work, is that the Oswald figure is tilted 4 degrees. I’ve tried numerous times to sustain that position but didn’t succeed until I duct taped a 3” by 10” sheet of half-inch copper to my left shoe. I used copper because I didn’t have any lead. The designer of this odd leaning stunt (Nagell, in my view) could have added lead to Oswald’s (or rather Wesley’s) left shoe. “Lee H Oswald” anagrams to: “L/W LEAD SHOE” But there is a better anagram. When I was in high school, all the rich guys wore Florsheim wingtips, but being poor, I got a pair of Waverly wing tips, a ubiquitous brand in the ‘60s. “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams to: "WAVERLY LEAD SHOE” I looked into this a few months ago and unfortunately was unable to find out the maker of Oswald’s dark colored shoes. My personal belief is that Richard Case Nagell would not have passed up the chance to bring the anagram above to fruition, thinking that the brand of Oswald’s shoes would be entered into evidence. In other words, Lee’s “V” shadow appears too early in the day. “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams to: “LEE, EARLY ‘V’ SHADOW” Lee’s head bears a “V” shaped shadow and “Lee Harvey Oswald anagrams to: “LEE RELAY ‘V’ SHADOW” In CE 133A and 133C, there is a half of a letter “O” visible on the fence near the hypothesized Wesley’s left knee. And it’s Wesley’s body in CE133A and 133C that has a half of a letter “O” visible on the fence near Wesley’s left knee (you can see these clearly in Steve’s last post). “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams to: WES RELAY HALVED “O” I think that the “V” shadow and the “halved ‘O’” are the alignment points for properly sizing CE133A and 133C. When these two photos are properly sized and aligned, and rotated 88 degrees to the right, we get a 3-D set, a 3-D view of Lee’s back yard, Wesley’s body with four arms, and a dandy view of Oswald’s head in 3-D. “Lee Harvey Oswald” anagrams to: “LAYER WES HALVED ‘O’” and, “LAYER LEE ‘V’ SHADOW” And another anagram of “Lee Harvey Oswald” combines the two above: “LAYER WES ‘O’, L HEAD ‘V’” and, “LH/WES, A LAYERED ‘V/O’” I suspect a stereoscopic image was taken with Oswald’s tripod-mounted Stereo Realist camera, which was rotated 88 degrees to the right (Marina’s one picture was just for show). The 3-D image was meant to be viewed with a “Stereoscope”, a common item even today, that requires a pair of square images mounted on a 7 inch card. In the past, I had pursued the hypothesis that the BYP are a puzzle, just one of many, created by Oswald and his small band of good-guys. They called themselves “ICO” (“Igor”, “Case”, “Oswald”, and they had at least one civilian recruit, Wesley Frazier). According to this hypothesis, the BYP puzzle was created in response to Oswald’s assignment (by Ferrie, Banister, Phillips, Hoover, et al) to buy a mail order rifle and revolver and have his picture taken with these (Oswald’s patsy bona fides). Oswald and company then produced a set of photos (possibly four in all) that were designed around naturally occurring anagrams that could reveal ICO’s stunt, a 3-D image of Wesley Frazier’s body with Lee Oswald’s head attached. There is much more to this, but as I’ve said before, I’m six years into what I believe is a vast “ICO” puzzle system, and I’m in way over my head. I’m not good at puzzles and I lack the graphics skills to properly demonstrate the BYP aspect of my hypothesis. I’ve decided that since I’ve failed to generate interest in this, I’d get back to my life and finish the interior trim on my house, which is why you haven’t heard from me lately.
