  1. Sorry! I could not knowingly give aid and comfort to a hoaxter or a criminal. Dixie
  2. I totaly agree with both Nic and Richard...but then thats no big secret! Making demands of Judyth my rear! If she is going to be on these forums she must also be willing to answer questions in regards to her claims. Otherwise IMO, she has no business even considering forums. You seem to feel it is quite acceptable to join and make any outrageous claim you desire and to be totally believed without question...dream on!!! Of course, you could consider starting your own such forum where anything one that wants to make a claim, is just fine and everyone believes, without a thought of their own. What is the answer? Well she was on a TMWKK segment without interference. She was not to blame for what occured to those last three segments though. She was also on Black Op Radio without interference. These are the only ways I feel she would be able to have an open forum, where she would't need to answer our questions or demands, as you like to call them. I have many, many past materials written in Judyths own hand. Actually five years worth! From what I see, Dave Reitzes is right on. No one makes false charges. Judyth makes these changes herself and then denies they were ever any other way...or she blames someone else....or worse yet, she claims they were altered. And...not all of us has an agenda, as is the usual claim. Hopefully, Judyths book will be out within this decade...she has said this year. After I read it, and after looking over her documentation, if I decide she is telling the truth, then I will be one of the first ones to state that fact. Until then, what I see is Judyth trying desparetly to insert herself into every possible area of LHO's life while in New Orleans, which involves all of perhaps five or maybe even six months at the most. During that time she managed to either meet or be involved with every single person ever mentioned in connection with LHO while in NO. This is unrealisic to me anyway. Well, we all saw first hand what Judyth does to those who does their own research and comes up with conflicting information. That is not to mention the outright fibs she has told about different ones who have dared to opposed her. One more thought I have had for a long time. How is Judyth possibly exonerating LHO? Many of us do not believe LHO shot JFK anyway. Yet, from her claims, she has actually made him guilty of at least the preknowledge, which many of us were not all that certain of, until she told us. It is rather like putting a gun in his hand and hers as well. Dixie
  3. Well Nic, What you said, sorta reminded me of something else....Here is another new interesting story in regard to Tippit. I'm sure some have heard about it, but it might be new to some. I first read about it in Walt Brown's, JFK/DPQ Publication and is also included in Livingstones new book. For Reaseach Purposes Only! A woman by the name of Mrs. Doris Holan, lived at 409 E Tenth Street, She lived upstairs directly across the street and her windows looked directly on Tippit's Patrol car and the murder scene. Mrs Holan has been an unreported witness all these years. Yet she was dying of terminal cancer and talked to Dallas Researcher Michael Brownlow prior to her death in 2000. She met with Brownlow twice and once accompanied with reseracher Prof. BIll Pulte. Mrs Holan had just returned home from her job that morning, a few minutes after 1:00, then she heard gun shots. She hurried to her window and saw Tippit's patrol car, across the street and parked in front of the driveway between 404 and 410 E. Tenth Sreet. Tippit was lying on the street, near the left front of the car. She saw a man leaving the scene, moving westward towards Patton. Mrs Holan also noticed something else that had not previously, ever been reported. A second police car in the driveway, which went all the way back to the alley, moving forward slowly towards Tippit's car on Tenth. Near the police car she also saw a man in the driveway walking toward the street where Tippit was parked. She went downstairs at once and over to Tippit. The man in the driveway continued to the street, walked in front of Tippit's patrol car, paused and looked down at Tippit's head, and retraced his path up the driveway. At the same time, the police car changed direction and backed up in the driveway to the alley running parallel to Tenth, behind the houses on 404 and 410. In 1963, the driveway could be entered from the alley from the rear, as well as from Tenth. Because Tippit's car was parked in front of the Tenth Street entrance, the alley provided the only passage from the driveway for the driver of the police car. Mrs. Holan's account of a second police car is supported by the comments of Sam Guinyard, who told Brownlow in 1970 that he saw a police car in the alley shortly after the police shooting. The man in the driveway was apparently also seen by others: a resident of the neighborhood, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Prof Pulte, in 1990, that he had heard about a man in the driveway who approached Tippit's car. Another thought...Earlene Roberts saw a police car stop and honk in front of the boarding house on 1026 N Beckley, where LHO lived.... at around 1:03. Tippit was shot at around 1:10 to 1:15 at the latest. This could possibly have been the police car she saw. Dixie P.S. Nic, don't feel too bad about your Mom not allowing Right Wing Books in the house. When my daughter was a pre-teen, I told her that I didn't want any of those $#%@*& "Beatles" records in the house. Then sometime later, I changed and was even trying to play their music on my guitar....:-)
  4. Denis said... QUOTE Good Day.... I decided to also repost what follows below as a seperate post since the location of the pool of blood "DMN" employees COLEY and HOOD observed is different than the blood pool COUCH, L'HOSTE and others described seeing. As detailed on my DP overhead map link below (and in Trask's book "POTP"), the blood that COLEY observed was south of the north "Bryan" pergola shelter #3, while the blood COUCH observed was east of the north pergola shelter #4. After a search online, I found an online version of MARK OAKES interview of 55 minutes with JERRY LANE COLEY, a "Dallas Morning News" advertising salesman on 22NOV63. COLEY's online interview is available for all here ("RealPlayer" needed).... thanks to researcher SCOTT MYERS http://users2.ev1.net/~bobdeb/jfk/coley.ram Perhaps MARK OAKES will jump into this thread with further details Apparently OAKES and a co-researcher located then interviewed COLEY after reading about him in the paperback book "Unsolved Texas Mysteries" by Wallace O. Chariton, With Kevin R. Young & Charlie Eckhardt, published in March 1991, ISBN=1556221363, December 1991 =1556221371, May 1992=1556222564. (NOTE: OAKES points out, and COLEY confirms in the online interview, that some non-blood-pool-related details CHARITAN wrote about COLEY's post-attack actions are incorrect) To summarize some of COLEY's interview with OAKES considerations: COLEY said that the pool of blood he saw was located about 10' south of the north pergola west shelter #3 door, on the sidewalk, near the retaining wall. COLEY said that JIM HOOD (now deceased) touched the "pool of blood" and tasted it, then said it was "definately blood," not spilled soda pop. HOOD captured only one photo of the pool of blood UNQUOTE Just some extra info. to add..... A few years ago, a researcher friend of mine by the name of Martin Barkley read about Jerry Cooley and Jim Hood, in, Texas Unsolved Mysteries. This story intrigued him, so he hunted down Jerry Cooley, who agreed to an interview and taping. So, Mark Oakes another friend of Martin's, did the actual interview. After the interview, Martin told me about it and of the plan to put it on the internet. But then, shortly after that, I went to Dallas for the Nov Conferences. One night while there, Martin surprised me by bringing his VCR and the Cooley Video for me to view. (He lived in an area near Dallas) I have to say I felt quite honored to have been one of the very first to get to view this Cooley/Oakes Video interview. After we watched it, I ask Martin if he thought Jerry Cooley was credible and he said that he felt he was very credible. Well he did actually meet and spoke with him. He ask what I thought and I had to agree with him. Yet, I don't always have that reaction and usually am more skeptical. Then, just one month later, Martin had a major aneurism and was not expected to live or possibly would remain in a vegetative state. For those of you who do know Martin and know what happened to him or perhaps wondered about him.....well, I saw him sitting over at Dealey Plaza for the 40 Year Anniversary!! Although unable to walk, it has been like a miracle to see how well he has improved. Although sorta like a bull in a China Closet in his approach to research, he was quite sincere and had some rather interesting theories. I don't really know if he intends to try and pursue projects he had started or not. However, we were quite pleased that Scott Myers added the Cooley interview to his own website. Many things tells me those pools were not really blood.....and yet...... Dixie
  5. According to the Dallas Underground, by several reserchers....... Tippit was most likely involved in the conspiracy and knew both Ruby and Oswald. Tippit was what is referred to, as a redneck and also a corrupt cop. Although Tippit was also a womanizer, I will leave out the possible repercussions to Tippit in this regards. An undercover narcotics officer working for Sheriff Bill Decker, was also working as a musician in various night clubs, including Jack Ruby's. He claims that Tippit was one of the Dallas Police Officers closest to Ruby and who performed tasks for him. Mack Pate, owner of a garage, who knew a large number of the Dallas police heard from several of them who took their cars to him, that Tippit was a "dirty cop." A friend of Tippit's own mother also confirms this. Mack Pate's mechanic, T. F. White, who was interviewed by the FBI, spotted a car parked at the El Chico restaurant, across from their garage, just after the shooting at Dealey Plaza. White insisted the man sitting in the car was Oswald. Mack Pate and Wes Wise checked around Oak Cliff for some time and found quite a number of people who had seen Ruby and Oswald together on many occasions during the weeks preceding the assassination. (Wes Wise later became Mayor of Dallas.) Earl Crater of the Pig and Whistle restaurant said that LHO, Ruby and Tippit had breakfast there on a number of occasions at 7:00 A.M. Crater said that LHO never had more then a cup of coffee. It is believed that Tippit went home for lunch on the 22nd. Then, about 12:45, 15 minutes after JFK was shot, Tippit was parked at the south end of the Houston Street Viaduct, in North Oak Cliff, facing the cars coming off the viaduct....presumably watching for someone. Several employees of the Good Luck Gas Station saw Tippit sitting there for several minutes. Then he was observed driving away from the gas station at a high rate of speed, at about 12:50 and headed south. Tippits radio call at 12:54 places him at E. 8th and Lancaster, a few blocks south of the service station At no time that afternoon was Tippit in his assigned district and he was always in North Oak Cliff. That district was assigned to Officer William D. Mentzel. Tippit made a call from Top Ten Records on Jefferson, a few blocks west of 12th and Marsalis, around 1:00 P.M. When he came out, he was agitated and drove off fast. Tippits movements and actions appeared to be as though frantically looking for someone. Tippit then, cut off a car driven by an Insurance salesman, James Andrews, who was headed west on 10th Street about eight blocks west of where Tippit would be killed. Tippit, also driving west behind the salesman's car passed him, pulled to the right in front of him, blocking him in. Tippit then rushed to the drivers side of the car and looked at the floor between the seats. Tippit apparently did not see what he was looking for, jumped back in his patrol car and drove away quickly, reversing his direction and heading back east. The salesman who experienced this incident, James Andrews, worked for American National LIfe Insurance, which had not long before also employed Roscoe White, until he began at the Police Dept. Roscoe White and Tippit knew each other.lived near each other and their families were connected. Mrs Tippit had been a bridesmaid at Whites wedding to Geneva. According to DPD personnel records, starting in 1956, Tippit worked security at the Stevens Park Theater, which showed both English and Spanish speaking films. The owner, Manuel Avila, was allegedly involved in prostitution, in the hispanic community and ran a well-known Latin Club. Avila had ties to anti-Castro Cubans. Before coming to Dallas, Avila had been a CBS correspondent in Mexico and was the Dallas Spanish Language Voice of America correspendent. Dallas researcher, Prof. Bill Pulte says: "There can be little doubt that Avila knew Ruby, given the proximity of Avila's theater to downtown Dallas, where Ruby's clubs were located plus given the mutual interest in prostitution of Avila and Ruby. Tippit worked for Avila for several years. Ralph Paul owned the Miramar Restaurant, catty-corner to Avila's theater and Tippit got to know Paul. A good friend of Paul's was Austin Cook owner of Auston's Barbeque. This may have been how Tippit took a second part-time moonlighting job, at Austins. In addition, Ralph Paul was Ruby's backer and silent partner. The Warren Commission also raised quesations about the possibility that Tippit was involved with drugs." Little has been mentoned or known about Tippit working for Avila. The focus has been on his moonlighting as security at Austin's Barbeque. Tippit had a close friend, Officer Billy Anglin, and both had adjoining patrol areas which included Harendale--the sreet in East Oak Cliff where a house full of violent Cuban conspirators involved in the anti-Castro movement (SNFE/Alpha 66) and arms smuggling was located. Anglin last saw Tippit on the morning he was killed, having had coffee at "The Old Drive-In" about 11:30-11:45. The Warren Commission never called any relative, associate or police officer who worked with Tippit to testify. Even the HSCA wondered why not! What was Tippit doing in the section of North Oak Cliff where Ruby and Oswald both lived--not his assigned district--when most other police were concerned with the assassination and in Dealey Plaza? Oak Cliff was Tippits district, although three miles away and primarily the downtown police officers were called to Dealey Plaza. Dispatcher, Jim Bowles (later Sheriff) said that Tippit was in his assigned district. Although he didn't seem to be, he was apparently several miles from where he was supposed to be. He was ordered to move into "Central Oak Cliff" at 12:45 p.m.This order was not in the first transcript produce by the DPD and then suddenly appeared in a later transcript. This has caused many reserchers to speculate this order was later dubbed into the tape by the police friends of Tippit. There was no reason for Tippit to be moved to that area, which was far from his assigned area. Yet it is believed he strayed over to that area many tiimes. Many witnesses say they saw Tippit in that area quite often, and in fact some thought he even lived in that area....particularly around the area where he was killed. It is quite possible that the Cubans were directed to rent a house in Tippit's or Anglin's district to provide them with protection and a blind eye to the arms going in and out. If perhaps as some believe, Oswald was an undercover agent reporting on illegal arms to law enforcement agents or perhaps to the Dodd Committee, then Oswald would be targeted by the Cubans, if perhaps they were on to him. There is some belief that Oswald had been to the house at 3126 Harlendale too. A group of Mexican-Americans were involved with the Cubans and acted as translators, some provided by Manuel Avila, who most probbaly knew Jack Ruby, also involved in ilegal arms sales. Avila was a honcho in the Mexican-Americamn community, and he employed J D Tippit, in a part-time security job. Working for Avila gave Tippit knowledge of the Latin underworld and the fringe of the Cuban undergound. The Mexican-American group moved into the 3200 block of Harlendale about the same time that the Cubans moved into 3126 Harlendale. _____________________________________ Compiled from information in Harrison Livingstone's, The Radical Right and the Murder of John F. 6. Tim Up above in one of your posts, you said this: QUOTE: And by the way, Valery Kostikov was not a KGB agent either. He was a CIA agent. And the school for assassins at Minsk was not a KGB operation; it was in fact run by the CIA. UNQUOTE Were you being serious? Would you mind elabrating further on these comments? You might prefer to start a new Topic though, so this one isn't messed up. Regards Dixie
  7. John I have this book and must have read it some time ago. I have read so many that I do get confused. However, it might be one that I also felt I had some agreement with it. Now, my interest is up, so I am going to have to read it again! Perhaps I will have more to say after I do read it. By the way, another place where I have bought a whole lot of JFK Used Books On-line, is from Alibris Books. Dixie
  8. This is something that I have also been considering. I have read so many books that seem to have the very same information, and with no citation. I do know of some instances when I discovered the original information was bogus to begin with and no one ever actually checked it out through the years. I am unable at the moment, to recall examples of this though. I have also read books with relatively well know facts that an author has given wrong info. In fact, recently I read a book by a well known author, in a recommeded book, that stated Wesley Frazer and his sister, drove LHO to work at the TSBD that morning!! I had to read that three times to make sure I read it correctly. This disappointed me and I felt the writer should have known better then that. I had that thought in mind, when reading the entire book. In fact, I believe I did see some other such misinfo. Perhaps the writer only wrote what he had researched for his main thesis and did not bother with his minor points. Right now, I am reading a brand new book, that is full of a lot of new info by another well known researcher-writer. These things I have never heard or read any place before. He does state that he got a lot of the info from another researcher, who has done the specific research So, I am unable to know if any of it is all new and true facts or misinfo or even disinfo. There are citations I can check out, but many things have nothing, except the other researchers name as a reference. This is somewhat disturbing to me. Dixie
  9. Thank You Larry, for helping to make Masen's photo available to us and James for posting it here for us! and Robert for the extra info about Masen and Jack Ruby. I have been wanting to see Masen's photo for a long time. Well, since the discovery that the other photo was actually of Dial Ryder. I wanted to see for myself, if Masen was actualy a dead-ringer for LHO, as claimed or if it was actually Dial Ryder that looked ike lHO. Now that I have seen both photos, I still don't know!..... :-) Does anyone else have any opinions about this? Also, does anyone question Dial Ryders WC Testimony? It is a rather strange sounding story to me. Although, I have never heard any connections with him at all, to anyone involved. This is his WC Testimony (Two Parts) TESTIMONY OF DIAL DUWAYNE RYDER Part 1 http://jfkassassination.net/russ/testimony/ryder.htm Testimony of DUWAYNE RYDER and HUNTER SCHMIDT Part 2 http://jfkassassination.net/russ/testimony/ryderschmidt.htm Dixie
  10. Denis Sometimes when I am feeling a bit stressed, I will read one of your posts and it sometimes makes me chuckle and then I feel a little better.....:-) Dixie
  11. Dawn I replied to you in the Judyth thread, so won't repeat it here, But, I did want to mention that I have been lurking some at Wims Forum. I have not joined because I do not think I should join something where I believe hoaxes are being presented as truth. I have nothing personal against Wim or Bob Vernon and have had good communication with both of them. However, I am also a Member of Lancer and I did read where Wim invited Bob to join his forum. He did not just simply show up there to stir up trouble. I have also noticed where Wim has in fact been baiting Bob. And knowing Bob, I know he will also respond. That is exactly what has happened...and the war is on! I am sure I was quite distressed when I first began with forums too. But, now I am able to get into or ignore what I choose to. I know it can be quite unsettling for someone new to all the seemingly cut-throat attitudes. Yet there are also a whole lot of good discussions on all the forums. My best thoughts are to just take what you need and leave the rest there! Regards Dixie
  12. David and Ryan.. Thanks for the additional interesting info. I just knew something was still going on out there in the desert. I am always of a suspicious mind, but also just put things together that have been told to me, by various poeple. In fact, I believe there are things also going on, in the Tehachapi Mountain areas. Plus I believe there are also secret Govt. projects. I am quite familiar with those that Ryan describes as not claiming to be anti-USA, but then, mama didn't raise no fool, mentalities. After all, I do reside in Bakersfield, in what I refer to as the Redneck Capital...:-) Dixie
  13. Gee, I had much different thoughts about this program. In fact, I was rather encouraged that a media program would even permit talk of conspiracy. It was about conspiracy! Except they blew it by dragging Posner on there to refute any such notions. I did feel that his responses were rather weak though. Except that even he had to agree that the CIA both lied and witheld info from the HSCA and he claims to now want some answers just as Blakey stated that he does. Of course, then Posner blew it again by saying he didn't believe anything of a conspiracy would be discovered, since it hasn't in 41 years. Blakey definitely says there was a conspiracy, but he still goes with a Mafia hit. Except that he now says they were not even aware at the time of the CIA and Cuban Exiles involvement with the Mafia and not aware that LHO had possibly low level CIA involvement. Whether that is true or not, he is now admitting there is much more to learn. This is far better then also having Gerald Ford on there, who like Posner, was in denial and still insists the WC found that both LHO and Jack Ruby acted alone. This is all quite significant to me and maybe even a first such step in the Media recognizing a Conspiracy. After all, this was the head of the HSCA telling the public that there was a conspiracy. I am not of the Mafia theory or actually even the Cuban Exile theory and yet I did find the program of significance. I certainly didn't classify it as of the Peter Jennings total denial type of media garbage. I even appreciated that we were left with the option to decide for ourselves if there was a conspiracy rather then to redicule us as conspiracy nuts, if we did believe that. I realize this program didn't tell us what we as researchers, wanted to hear, yet I feel it went a long way in informing the public that there was a conspiracy..more so, then most any other such program has done so far. Perhaps we have to be content to take what we as researchers can get, like maybe one baby step at a time. I know last year, I was quite pleased with the a Fox prsentation with Greta Van Susteran, admitting there are still many unaswered questions. Dixie
  14. I don't want to pretend to know anything about a Paramiiitary Group in Barstow, except that I do believe there was one there....and perhaps there is stil one! I did hear this many years ago! In addition, I also know there was at least two around the Lancaster/Palmdale area. I am unsure if this was William Gale or Wesley Swifts Christain Identity Group or not. Although I do know they recruited Ed Butler, right out of Lancaster. I also heard that Chauncey Holt was involved with a group around the Lancaster/Palmdale area. I do live in the above County and was told of such a Paramilitary Group there, by a retired Sheriff friend that use to go out there on occasion. He did mention a Posse Comitatus Group, which did make me think of Gales group. Even today, there are sections that are enclosed with gated guards. Most that I talk to wonder what is going on around there. Dixie
  15. I was a young wife and mother when JFK was assn. Right away, I felt something didn't quite smell right in what we were being told. I did try to read all I was able to find, which was not actually al that much That is until I found Mark Lanes Book and after that, found most of Harrison Livingstones' Books. I have been studying ever since. I am able to identify with some who bagan reading at a young age. Although I did have friends, I was not interested in games and sports and much preferred to read. I would go to the llibrary and find non-fiction books way beyond my age level. As for Andy's post. I can also understand where he is coming from. In turn, I do not really know about very much that occurs in other countries. Most of my studies has been only in US History and Govt. If there is some happening in another country, I am just not up to what it is actually all about and don't have the same concern. I do enjoy meeting those from other countries and hearing about their country, but just do not read about it or about many past catastrophies elsewhere. Dixie
  16. Hi James... I don't know who it is, but do you think it resembles Frenchie? Dixie
  17. If my memory is correct, I am thinking there were more then three so-called tramps arrested that day. Perhaps, Abrams and Gedney were among the other ones, although not the three in the photos. In fact, once Jack White (jokingly) asked if maybe they were having a hobo convention that weekend. That did make me chuckle anyway! I cannot say for a certainty, who the three tramps are, but have always belived them to possibly be: Hunt, Harrelson and Montoya. I see no resemblance whatsoever in that older looking tramp to be Holt. However, in some of the photos I don't feel that he is actually as old as he appears to be. I mean, in some he looks younger then in other photos. The idea that Rogers and Montoya are one and the same, I do no buy at all. There is no resemblance in the two whatsoever...contrary to other claims! I have no way to scan both of their photos though. I do think it possible that one or the other may have at some point, used each others name though. So of course, they would lead to some thoughts of them being the same person. The only problem I have with the older tramp being Hunt is that I can't seem to justify in my own mind why he would be playimg this role. I do know that Hunt was a Master of Disguise, but then I also know that Chauncey Holt, was also. I do admit that I am not as closed-minded about which one it may have been, as I am in many other issues or claims. Dixie
  18. I read Flight From Dallas, sometime last year. I also heard one of the writers, James Johnston speak at the COPA Conference last year. Frankly, I wasn't all that impressed with him. I felt that he wasn't informed enough in some areas, that I thought he should be. I am thinking he is an attorney, but he was rather arrogant and was rather rude to his audience a few times. I met another man that I do not recall his name. Yet he was somehow connected to this book, it was possibly Jon Roe, the other writer. He was a much friendlier person, whoever he was. Of course, I realize that a writer's persoanlity doesn't actually mean a story is true or bogus. However, I also asked several people of their opinion of the story and all felt about as I did. Questionable, although interesting!! Dixie
  19. Steve... Thanks a bunch, that is the Dial Ryder photo that I had in mind. Larry.... Thanks also for your info. Do you have a way to attach the Masen photos that you mentioned? I would like to see them. Dixie
