  1. Just viewed the entire Don Adams presentation. Adams mentioned Milteer's common law ( prostitute? ) wife and how on November 27, 1963 when he and another officer had arrived at her home to arrest Milteer, this woman told them Milteer had left just 15 minutes earlier and had loaded his car and bags with...? Adams then raced and caught up with Milteer 50 miles away and pulled him out of his VW bus vehicle. They hauled Milteer in for questioning and had his vehicle towed back to an impound yard. Adams never mentioned what they may have found in Milteer's vehicle. Just curious what was found. The Miami police were so concerned about Milteer before JFK was to arrive in Miami for a political speech, they set up a tape recorder in a hotel room where Milteer was encouraged to share his thoughts on any assassination attempts on JFK by their informant William Somersett. What they heard on this tape recording was so "real threat" serious, they ( other higher agencies ) changed JFK's Miami physical travel itinerary. I can't believe after hearing the kinds of threats Milteer was outlining to Somersett that this one hidden tape recording was the last they would do concerning Joseph Milteer. One can be sure that a threat of Milteer's seriousness and capabilities ( relatively well off financially and connected to the most violence threatening organizations ) would have demanded they track, surveil and tape him again. So after this mind blowing threat tape of Milteer with Somersett the authorities never tried to secretly record him in private again? Nuts! Adams was on the hunt for Milteer even before 11,22,1963. He must have looked at countless photographs in so doing. He had personal, close up, one-on-one interaction with Milteer after he picked him up on 11,27,1963. Adams talked to Milteer and looked at him within a couple of feet. Adams could easily and thoroughly see Milteer's entire body, build and facial structure. In this talk by Adams, he showed the Milteer look-a-like person photographed on the Houston street sidewalk just as JFK's limo passes in front of him on 11,22,1963 ...and seconds before the shots rang out. Adams never once indicated in his talk that he had any doubts at all that this mean expression Milteer look-a-like on Houston street wasn't Milteer. Of the many, many persons who for decades have downplayed and dismissed the Houston Street Milteer photo as not Milteer, how many could claim that they had spent close up, face-to-face, one-on-one interaction time with Milteer as Adams did? Because of this significant fact, you are kind of forced to give Adam's more credibility on this Milteer in Dealey Plaza picture issue over these naysayers. I could see an alliance of JFK hating forces making 11/22/1963 happen in different capacities. How many Mafia hits took place right in broad daylight and right downtown in major cities with the shooters not even being caught? We now know that corrupt city police forces made sure they were purposely not in the vicinity to get to these murder scenes in enough time to catch the shooters. It's called pulling back protection. And to add on the insanely risky Dealey Plaza dog leg at the end of JFK's Dallas motorcade is just another sickeningly suspicious action that was the opposite of normal SS presidential motorcade security protocol. Adams does mention the JFK limo inner windshield frame indentation. It was deep enough in "solid steel" not to have been made by any bone fragment and a fragment of JFK's head shot bullet would have had to come in from a slightly different angle (more straight on ) from JFK's exploding skull than the actual indentation entry angle which indicated a farther out right to left one.
  2. If you look back at the 1% media manipulation machine for decades you can actually see patterns of their doings that reveal when they feel truly threatened by serious potential adversarial candidates. Howard Dean had just placed a surprising third in the final 2004 Iowa caucus vote. Afterwards Dean gave a late night campaign rally speech to his supporters that included an inspired loud "YEAH" yell. Within days, I was taken back at how Dean's higher than expected Iowa showing was being not just ignored, but instantly replaced in most of the the main stream media by this weird and hugely exaggerated coverage of Dean's Iowa victory rally speech as somehow revealing of Dean as some raging nut case! Medical doctor educated Dean a nut case? What the heck? There was an obviously well coordinated, well financed and immediately aggressive nationwide media campaign to plant a destructive mental case image of Dean in the collective societal mind set, centered around nothing more than Dean's late night celebratory speech "YEAH" yell at the end of this. This ridiculously baseless and exaggerated Dean nut case charge was given a highly psychologically manipulative marketing sound byte label as ... the "Dean Scream." Rush Limbaugh and his fellow Republican propaganda machine minions went into full bore all out attack mode on Dean and the "Dean Scream" which they gleefully replayed hundreds of times on their shows to highlight how insane Dean really was. And in the supermarket sensational front cover magazine political propaganda display case as you walk through the checkout line ( National Enquirer, Newsweek, Time, Etc, ) within days I noticed Dean "Nut Case" front covers on several national magazines like Newsweek ( see below) that were shamelessly promoting this new and scary image of Howard Dean as a whacko. All born from nothing more than a late night, tired hoarse voiced campaign victory yell. But as empty and ridiculously illogical as this Dean candidacy destruction effort was in it's genesis ... it worked! Dean immediately started losing his decent Iowa vote showing momentum and traction and never came close to this in the later primaries. That's how successful such hugely financed image destruction mass media campaigns can be. That super exaggerated and widely promoted Dean "nut case " destructive image planting campaign made me consider the reality of how very powerful interests groups in this country deal with the political candidates they truly fear. Gary Hart and John Edwards were taken out with wide media exposure sex honey trap set ups. Dean got the "Nut Case" one. Wonder what image destruction plan they will use on Elizabeth Warren. Socialist extremist? Borderline commie?
  3. Years ago I happened to catch a radio interview of former FBI agent James Hosty of the Dallas, TX field office who was assigned the Lee Harvey Oswald file up to the time of 11,22,1963. The focus of the interview was Hosty's book "Assignment: Oswald." You remember James Hosty? He was the agent who when called to testify to the Warren Commission in early 1964, didn't mention his burning of Oswald's FBI file and then flushing this down a toilet upon orders from his superior the day Oswald was shot and killed by Jack Ruby. The CHAIRMAN. "Would you raise your right hand, please, and be sworn? Do you solemnly swear the testimony you are about to give before this Commission shall be THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ... so help you God?" Mr. HOSTY. "I do." When asked later in a public interview why he didn't mention the Oswald file destruction in his "whole truth" testimony to the Warren Commission that day in early 1964 Hosty smugly chuckled " they didn't ask." Ha, ha, ha. Like keeping this unbelievably important Oswald file information destruction action on the part of the Dallas FBI office from the Warren Commission was ... no big deal ! Like this action would have elicited no more interest and questions from the Commission members than mentioning Oswald's minimal baloney sandwiches and milk dietary preferences. Can anyone here imagine the stunned impact look on the Commission member's faces if Hosty had voluntarily mentioned in his testimony this Oswald file destruction action by him on 11,24,1963 on orders from his FBI supervisor? That revelation would have ( should have) rocked the investigation to it's preconceived lone gunman core. Getting back to this radio interview of Hosty regards his book "Assignment: Oswald" Hosty went on and soon enough just blurted out this tid-bit about the Warren Commission and their investigation. He told the interviewer "We had three of them. Ford, Russell and ..." Hosty seemed to temporarily forget the name of the other Warren Commission member besides Gerald Ford and Richard Russell Jr. who he clearly inferred was working with his employer the F.B.I. in providing them continuous inside information on their investigation. Amazingly the interviewer just quickly interrupted Hosty and interjected some other innocuous comment and question about Hosty's book, seemingly oblivious to the importance of what Hosty had just revealed to him and his radio audience regards this admission by Hosty of how compromised the so-called independent Warren Commission was by the FBI. And who was this third FBI informant Commission member Hosty was about to identify? Ford was so compromised. His JFK truth loyalty was trumped by his F.B.I. loyalty. And my guess is that Ford did what the Rockefeller's ( and Hoover ) told him to do.
  4. When Ford was President I was employed as a gardener ( part of a small crew ) in Pebble Beach, CA. Home to the famous "Pebble Beach" public golf course and the lesser known but even more exclusive "Cypress Point" private golf course. President Ford would come to play golf during one of the big tournaments there ( A T & T ) and stay at the large estate home of an oil executive by the name of Darius Keaton. Just mentioning this in the "Birds Of A Feather" context. Darius Keaton Jr.; Oil Executive, Golf Champion Darius N. "Dee" Keaton Jr., 76, former oil company executive and champion amateur golfer. Born in Atlanta, Keaton served in France and Germany during World War II, attended Washington State University and graduated from UC Berkeley. He worked with Union Oil Co., Signal Oil and Gas Co. and, with Leonard Firestone, co-owned Edgington Oil Co. Keaton, a director in Santa Fe International Corp., an Alhambra-based oil exploration company, was sentenced in 1987 to two months in prison, five years' probation, 1,000 hours of community service and an $11,000 fine after pleading guilty to two felonies for insider trading. The Securities and Exchange Commission charged him with wire fraud and violating SEC regulations over his trading of stock and stock options in 1981, shortly before Santa Fe was acquired by Kuwait Petroleum Corp. A champion athlete in high school and college, Keaton focused on golf as an adult and played for many years in what is now called the AT&T; Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. With his partner Hale Irwin, he won the tournament in 1976. He was a director and former president of the Monterey Peninsula Golf Foundation, the charitable group that runs that tournament. On Friday in San Francisco. 650 × 610 his golfing buddies Darius Keaton ... upi.com
  5. Robert, in reading about Shakespeare's Richard III I kept picturing Donald Trump in my mind.
  6. I think most police force members tend to be much more supportive of authoritarian type governance and policy than average people. This includes a military order type mentality versus a democratic/constitutional equal rights under the law one. There is an inherent occupational inclination for this sentiment in their ranks borne out their often stated law enforcement experience of seeing and dealing with the worst and most dangerous elements of our society on a daily basis. How often have I heard people I know who are police officers or prison guards say ... if you saw what I see on a daily basis, you wouldn't be so liberal and defending of these people rights. If these criminals had the power, they wouldn't be liberal in their consideration and treatment of you...they would destroy you. This is an important debate. The greater problem of this dark group cynicism is that the police and prison guards and their unions have powerful lobbies that help keep our growing military type police forces intact and they are becoming more so like this every year. It seems more and more our police forces have become like military forces in dress, equipment, tactics and mentality. And their perceived enemies are more and more civilians who dare break the law.
  7. I think the Democratic candidate Trump's 1% fears most is Elizabeth Warren. Hillary won 3 million more votes in the popular vote than Trump in 2016 and she did this with a bus load of heavy baggage. Warren presents a more working class honest and attractive Trump alternative package than HRC without near the baggage. Although HRC had very powerful interests backing her that Warren will not have. Could you imagine Warren and Trump debating? I think the huge majority of women voters of this country who would see Warren and Trump together on a debate stage wouldn't even need to consider their debate answers. Just seeing the kind school teacher appearing Warren next to the bloated extreme Pu$$! grabbing bragging sexist Trump will make them cringe and make up their minds viscerally. Trump is a turnoff to women in spades. Physically and ideologically. Hollywood couldn't come up with a more unattractive, lecherous looking character. I think the women vote count in a 2020 election would be even more in favor of candidate Elizabeth Warren than it was for Hillary in 2016.
  8. Michael Clark. Of course I have read the Len Osanic/Jerry Coley interview transcript. It was this interview that inspired my recent posting about Jack Ruby's out of the ordinary attendance and activity that day centered around the Dallas Morning News building. If you compare Jerry Coley's recollections regards seeing Jack Ruby in the DMN building the morning of 11,22,1963 to Jack Ruby's meandering Warren Commission testimony recounting his presence there that day, you can't help but see and question the great suspicion arousing contradictions. Ruby stated to the Warren Commission he didn't arrive to the DMN building until 10 to 10:30 am. Coley says he saw his co-worker talking to Jack Ruby in the building cafeteria at 8:am. Coley even joined them. Coley's recollection of his early morning meet up with Ruby was even reported by the esteemed reporter Hugh Ainsworth a day or two later. Ruby lied about his DMN arrival time by an over two hour time frame. Ruby inferred that he never left the DMN ad offices until 1:pm or even later. If so, that would mean he spent a full 5 hours there that day. 5 hours? Coley said he never recalled Ruby staying more than an hour there previously for Ruby's ad placement meet ups. Ruby claimed that he went straight to his club from the Dallas Morning News building after learning of JFK's shooting. There bye providing an activity and location alibi that showed he didn't drive to Parkland hospital before hand. Just read Ruby's crazy testimony below to see how unbelievable and illogical his whole 11/22/1963 morning to noon activity, location and motivation recollection testimony really was.To me, this obviously made up and illogically different than normal tale by Ruby is a much more important aspect in the Ruby JFK assassination connection story than has been acknowledged and dealt with. One that still deserves discussion. Testimony Of Mr. Jack Ruby Chief Justice WARREN. Do you solemnly swear that the testimony you are about to give before the Commission will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God? Mr. RUBY. I do. Chief Justice WARREN. Now will you please state whether the things you have just told us are true under your oath? Mr. RUBY. I do so state they are the truth. Chief Justice WARREN. Now you complete whatever story you want to tell. Mr. RUBY. All right. Thursday night I was having dinner at the Egyptian Restaurant on Mockingbird Lane, and a fellow comes over to the table. I was sitting with a guy by the name of Ralph Paul. He tried to invite me to the club a couple of doors down and I refused, because he had taken a band away from me that had been engaged for 7 years, and I felt it was a lost cause, that the club would be failing because of that, and I sort of excused myself and I refused to go over to the club. We finished our dinner, and I went down to the club that I operated, the Carousel, and this particular master of ceremonies happened to be there at the time, and we discussed a few things. And there is a columnist by the name of Tony Zoppi--and prior to that, I wrote out a full page copy of this build--I have the copies--as an emcee, and brought a picture and brochure, and Tony said, "I will write a story." This was done 2 days prior to this Thursday night. So then I went down, so we discussed it and were very much disgusted with Tony because he only gave us a build of one or two lines. Well, I retired that night after closing the club. Then I knew I wanted to go back to the Morning News Building to get the brochure I left, and also this complete page of longhand writing describing the various talents of this Bill DeMar. I picked up the brochure that Friday morning, and I also had business at the News Building on Friday because that is the start of the weekend, which is very lucrative, the weekend. I have ways of making my ads of where they have a way of selling the product I am producing or putting on on the show. So I went down there Friday morning to Tony Zoppi's office, and they said he went to New Orleans for a couple of days. I picked up the brochure. I believe I got downtown there at 10:30 or 11 o'clock that morning. And I took the brochure and then went into the main room where we compose our ads. That is the sales room where we placed our ads. And I remained there for a while. I started to write the copy of my ad. Now I go back to the same fellow that wanted me to come over to the club when we were having our dinner on Mockingbird at the Egyptian Lounge. I came to the desk and I wanted to apologize and explain why I didn't accept his invitation last night. I wanted to explain, and that took about 20 or 25 minutes. All this is pertaining to everything prior to the terrible tragedy that happened. I started to explain to him why I didn't want to go there, because this fellow mentioned--Tony, I think---I can't think of his last name of me having his band so many years, and I felt at the moment I didn't want to go over to the club because I didn't care to meet this fellow. And he started to apologize, "Jack, I am sorry, I did work for the fellow and we have been advertising him for that club, and I am putting out a night club book." I remained with him for 20 or 25 minutes talking there. I don't know whether my ad was completed or not. It was an ad on the Vegas and the Carousel. My ads were completed, I believe, and after finishing my conversation with him, he left. Suddenly the man that completes my ads for me, that helps me with it on occasion--but I usually make it up myself--but the person that takes the money for the ads--this is the reason it is so hard for me to meet a deadline when I get downtown to the News Building. And as a rule, I have to pay cash for my ads. When you are in debt, it is necessary, and they will not put it in unless you pay cash. And consequently, the weekend, I had been to town on that particular day. All this adds up later on, as I will state why I didn't go to the parade. In the first place, I don't want to go where there is big crowds. I can't explain it to you. If I was interested, I would have seen it on television, our beloved President and all the parade that transpired. But all that adds up why it is important for me to be in the News Building. I owe the Government quite a bit of money, and it is doing business out of your pocket, supposedly, in the slang expression. Well, John Newnam comes in, and evidently he took it for granted I finished my ad, and I don't recall if he paid for his ad, and suddenly there is some milling around. I think it was 12, or 15 minutes after 12, I don't recall what, but John Newnam said someone had been shot. And I am sorry, I got carried away. It is the first time I got carried away, because I had been under pressure. And someone else came running over and he said a Secret Service man was shot, or something to that effect. And I am here in the middle with John Newnam, because Newnam isn't paying any attention to anyone else, and there is a lot of going back and forth. So someone must have made a statement that Governor Connally was shot. I don't recall what was said. And I was in a state of hysteria, I mean. You say, "Oh my God, it can't happen." You carry on crazy sayings. There was a little television set in one office not far away from where I had been sitting at the desk. I ran over there and noticed a little boy and a little sister say, "I was standing right there when it happened." I mean, different things you hear on the television. Then the phone started ringing off the desk and I heard John Newnam say people were complaining about the ad, why they accepted this ad. (A tray of water and glasses was brought in.) Thank you. Has every witness been this hesitant in trying to explain their story? Chief Justice WARREN. You are doing very well. I can understand why you have to reflect upon a story of that length. Mr. RUBY. The phones were ringing off the desk calling various ads, and they were having a turmoil in that News Building because of a person by the name of Bernard Weissman placing that particular ad, a full page ad. I am sure you are familiar with the ad. Chief Justice WARREN. Yes; I am. Mr. RUBY. Criticizing a lot of things about our beloved President. Then John Newnam and I and another gentleman walked over to another part of the room, and I heard John Newnam say, "I told him not to take that ad." Something to that effect. Then he said, "Well, you have seen him pay part cash and come back and pay the balance." Now everything is very vague to me as to when this transpired; after they heard the President had been shot, or prior to that. You know it's been a long time, and I am under a very bad mental strain here. Chief Justice WARREN. Yes. Mr. RUBY. From the time that we were told that the President was shot, 35 minutes later they said he had passed away. In the meantime, I became very emotional. I called my sister at home. She was carried away terribly bad. And John Newnam happened to be there, and I know it is a funny reaction you have, you want other people to feel that you feel emotionally disturbed the same way as other people, so I let John listen to the phone that my sister was crying hysterically. And I said to John, I said, "John, I will have to leave Dallas." I don't know why I said that, but it is a funny reaction that you feel; the city is terribly let down by the tragedy that happened. And I said, "John, I am not opening up tonight." And I don't know what else transpired there. I know people were just heartbroken. I left the room. I may have left out a few things. Mr. Moore remembers probably more, but you come back and question me and maybe I can answer those questions. I left the building and I went down and I got my car, and I couldn't stop crying, because naturally when I pulled up to a stoplight and other people would be adjacent to me, I wouldn't want them to see me crying, because it looked kind of artificial.
  9. David, your one man JFK show idea by Meader "might" have worked. But only if it were attempted at least 7 years later when the political correctness of such a presentation might have been at least a little more palatable. However, I believe that JFK's gruesome brain and blood spewing slaughter ( massively publicly viewed via the Zapruder film ) was so graphically and monstrously brutal, that most people of our generation who viewed this true life horror film, with JFK's head exploding right next to his terrified young wife, would for the rest of "their" lives be haunted by it to such a nightmarish degree that they just couldn't see any JFK centered theatrical piece ( dramatic or comedic ) without re-feeling this nightmare. I think that this long term traumatic effect of the JFK nightmare for this generation was demonstrated by the huge public reaction to Oliver Stone's 1991 film "JFK." Here it was 30 years after 11,22,1963...and the audience reaction to this film ( millions of viewers) was generally one that still reflected greatly disturbed grief, shock and suspicion over the JFK assassination. In my mind these massive audience shared JFK film emotions were credible evidence of real symptomatic effects of long term PTSD. Our nation, our society in the 1960's was much more traumatically effected by the murders of JFK, MLK and RFK than we have been able to understand and acknowledge, even to this day in my opinion.
  10. Vaughn Meader said on the TV show "What's My Line"...that his First Family record sold over 4 million copies. Wow!
  11. How weird to see Vaughn Meader on the same TV show as Dorothy Kilgallen. Both were hugely impacted by JFK's death. Kilgallen most ominously.
  12. Mark, the JFK assassination was too traumatic for any portrayal of him in a comedic light. And wasn't it several years before we even had movies about him specifically? I think anyone old enough to have lived through that day ( 11,22,1963) and was older than 12 or so...will always carry a trauma memory of that event.
  13. Michael, Ruby was at those Dallas Morning News offices during that time on 11,22,1963. Of course he didn't lie about this to the WC. I didn't say he did. The point of my post is the ridiculous explanation by Ruby regarding his staying in those offices for so many hours with long waits to see and talk to different ad people ( did he normally hang out there that many hours? ) at the same time that his beloved JFK and Ruby's classy beautiful crush Jackie (whom Ruby was willing to KILL for ) were passing right underneath him and all he had to do was go down a few floors to the sidewalk to see them up close and in the flesh. A rare event that probably would never present itself to a guy like Ruby the rest of his lifetime. He didn't. And considering all these known past facts about Ruby's normal social behavior and stated adulation for JFK and Jackie Kennedy a reasonably curious person is forced ask why. It's that illogically long stay at the DMN offices by Ruby during a momentous event that should have excited him to do more than hide away in half-empty offices of the DMN building ( DMN employees were out watching the motorcade ) especially because of his professed adoration of Jackie Kennedy that shouts suspicion. And it is doubly suspicious when Ruby throws out to the WC this laughable explanation for avoiding the motorcade because of a newly professed phobia ... that he felt uncomfortable in crowds? Yet Ruby's long time social history includes large crowd race track visits, attending large crowd state fairs, major boxing matches, YMCA pools and city skating rinks, MCing his crowd at the Carousel Club, travel to tourist crowded Havana and thrusting himself into the unbelievable crowded and frantic Dallas Police Department building just hours after JFK was hit. Crowd phobia Ruby then rushes to and past the Dallas Police Department building crowd outside the basement entrance and again rushes down into the incredibly crowded DPD basement to do the ultimate crowd inciting act.... point blank shooting of Oswald? Please. The Warren Commission let this laughably illogical story of Ruby's stand without responsible questioning and they even threw out Seth Kantor's rational and credible testimony ( versus Ruby's crazy meandering testimony ) of seeing Ruby at Parkland hospital the afternoon of 11,22,1963. Ruby's guilt shielding whereabouts alibi during the JFK shooting was the Dallas Morning News building offices..and I am certain purposely planned as such.
  14. Jack Ruby used the offices of the Dallas Morning News as his all morning till past 1PM safe alibi excuse hang out while the big event happened just around the corner. Ruby is so gaga about Jackie and loves JFK so much he is in tears after his murder, yet he won't even go down just two floors below and a few blocks away to see his beloved president and his beautiful wife in the close up flesh when he has the rare chance to do so? Ruby told the Warren Omission he didn't leave the offices of the Dallas Morning news for hours before, during and even after JFK and Jackie passed by because he was uncomfortable with big crowds ! ? Then later that night Ruby thrusts himself into the body crushing crowd in the DPD building and on Sunday morning Ruby again thrusts himself into the street crowd outside the DPD building and into the body pressing crowd in the DPD basement? Not to mention Ruby's attendance at such crowded events as state fairs, major boxing events, YMCA pools and gyms, other street parades etc. Check out this person and his HSCA testimony. Irwin Signey Weiner. You must read his HSCA testimony. To do so, link to this via the JFK assassination witness site. Lifetime friend since childhood of Jack Ruby's brother Earl. Was called by Jack Ruby to help Ruby deal with his stripper's union demands. This guy is totally connected to the highest level organized crime figures of the day. Santos Trafficante, Sam Giancanna, Jimmy Hoffa, etc. He is personally close to infamous Chicago and Detroit Mafia hit men Dave Yaras and Lenny Patrick. And Ruby's brother Earl is so close to this guy he can personally call him when he needs a favor for his brother Jack? Jack Ruby and his brother were closer to the Mob than most will ever acknowledge.
  15. Other presidential impersonators who deserve mention. David Frye's LBJ was classic. 0:39 DAVID FRYE (as Lyndon Johnson) - 1966 - Standup Comedy ClassicComedyCuts • 851 views1 year ago CHECK OUT THESE OTHER CHANNELS: CLASSIC COMEDY CLIPS: http://www.dailymotion.com/ClassicComedyClips ... And his Nixon impersonation was just slightly below Rich Little's in my opinion.
  16. I think Meader was really just getting started with his JFK performance. This album of his reflected the lightest and at times even silly humor take on JFK and Jackie which was probably intentional to keep the content clean and in good graces regarding PG ratings ( and not to mention the Kennedy's themselves ) and safe for sales to a very broad audience versus a more narrow sharper edged one. Still funny and entertaining for sure though. I could imagine Meader developing his JFK impersonation act into a more polished, thoughtful and interesting multi-level humor content the longer JFK was in office. Looking back to those times, I think it was wonderful that our society could have available and experience such light humor about JFK and Jackie and even Robert Kennedy in the national mind-set and discourse, if for any other reason than to provide some brevity balance to counter all the heavy seriousness and at times anger, angst and anxiety that JFK's presidency and policies so often initiated domestically and internationally. I wonder what JFK thought of Vaughn Meador's impersonation act? My guess is he liked it because it was very light and even respectful towards him and his family. The kind of light family humor parents could relate to and even let their younger kids hear.
  17. Joe McBride, how would you describe Dallas District Attorney Henry Wade as far as his racial sentiments? Was Wade KKK supportive and if so to what degree in your opinion? Same with Will Fritz, Chief Curry and even Jim Leavelle and Sergeant Patrick Dean? Do you think the KKK members of the DPD hated JFK for his liberal stand on race to the point of celebrating his murder? Do you think this KKK involvement played any part in JFK'S assassination and/or Oswald's in the hands of the DPD?
  18. Just read part 2. Again, it's too bad information like this regards Kamala Harris is being ignored by the main stream media.
  19. I recently acquired this 1962 comedy album of JFK impersonator Vaughn Meader. My wife joined me in this first time listening. Doing so was fun yet strangely sad and thought provoking at the same time considering the incredibly sudden and shocking end of JFK's life just one year to the month of this record's release. Of course we laughed. Meader had JFK down so well in almost every manner, tone and inflection way that one could believe they were actually listening to JFK himself! And Meader even "looked" like JFK. We were surprised at how short in playing time the LP was. It's been so long since we played an LP record. We are used to longer playing CDs. I would like to share more about this record ( really interesting in so many ways ) and will, but must break for our weekend breakfast while it's hot off the stove. I really think that Vaughn Meader's adult career life, culminating in his amazing impersonations of JFK and the impossible ending scenario of this would be a fascinating film. Too bad it never was along with any major film on the life of Dorothy Kilgallen. And sadly, maybe it's been so long ago, younger generations wouldn't get the importance of such films now-a-days.
  20. Posted 4 hours ago (edited) According to the Donald, in his Fourth of July speech, the British had air power in America during the War of Independence. in 1775 "“In 1775, …our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports it did everything it had to do.” So JFKish...don't you think? So inspiring. And Trump encouraging our young people to serve their country by joining the military? Ha! This coming from a guy who found every way he could ( 5 deferments ) to avoid this same patriotic and brave sacrifice when he was called to serve? Dating beautiful young women and living in the lap of wealthy luxury was a higher calling to Trump when he was called and even "ordered" ( draft notices) to fulfill his patriotic duty. How could any veteran hear Trump's outrageously disingenuous call yesterday to our young people to do something he wouldn't do ... and not be offended? And was Trump's no integrity military recruitment promotion call a sign that this is way down as most young people in the country do not consider joining the military as one of their top opportunities?
  21. What an uplifting and encouraging post. Thanks to you for this Greg.
  22. And there is no equal comparison of Trump to JFK. To any degree. In every way JFK makes Trump look like an ignorant, delusional and laughable fool. An emotionally stunted, insecure and unbalanced clown. An unethically motivated person to the corrupt extreme. Stupendously self-centered. JFK was an emotionally healthy, balanced and educated man who read. A man who was curious about human history, struggle, achievement and potential and what was truly in the best interest of humanity. A man who felt a responsibility in effecting these progressive dynamics in his role as President, not just here in America but worldwide, even when it meant standing up to the most powerful and wealthy special interest groups and government agencies who opposed him domestically. Trump is the opposite. A uneducated incurious man who simply doesn't read. A man that has never cared about nor contemplated the broader historical humanity things JFK had. Instead Trump is clearly more a man of the here and now and instant impulse gratification need. Someone seemingly 75 % fixated on public attention and adulation, self aggrandizement and how much money he is worth or makes and/or feels he has made for others in this country. With the other 25% a mix of weird who knows what including his love of powerful dictators and the attractiveness or unattractiveness of women ( his daughter's beauty a main interest ) and who his enemies are and how much they are trying to bring him down and what he can say or do to get back at them. Some day soon I think this true reality of this dangerously flawed man as our highest elective office holder will become common knowledge in our societal discourse and understanding. And Trump will go down in history as perhaps one of our top 3 or 4 worst presidents.
  23. I have imagined Elizabeth Warren as the Democratic party's candidate against Trump in 2020. It took an unprecedented huge turnout of women, black and younger voters in 2008 and 2012 for the Democrats to prevail over the always powerfully financed and organized Republican party machine ( which I always look at as the party of the 1% ) and which didn't happen in 2016 in just enough key electoral states even though Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by over 3 million. That and two Republican candidates with weak VP candidates who didn't come close to grabbing and inciting the larger white male Republican base as much as fiery race baiting demagogue Donald Trump did. Donald Trump shamelessly went right to the hottest anger and insecurity issues of this base which are of course race, immigration and even a backlash against women empowerment groups and movements. Trump enthusiastically fed this anger and insecurity the raw red verbal meat his base had been craving and had never seen before from a presidential candidate. And did so in their own more common rough edged language. Kick these GD illegals out of our country! Stand up for white America versus black for once! And the same with these never ending equal power demanding, man hating and threatening women's rights groups! Screw these people! Screw Rosie O'Donnell! Screw Oprah and Al Sharpton! Screw the illegal immigrant loving liberals! YOU TELL EM DONNIE BABY! RIGHT ON! And SHOUT these things over and over with the same outraged tone of white working class American males who have been harboring these angers and frustrations for decades. The same massive angry white audience Rush Limbaugh and Fox News have been coddling and inciting for decades. Yes, Trump was a candidate who finally talked less like a phony polite politician and more like a World Wrestling Federation tough guy ( think Hulk Hogan, Triple H , the Undertaker, etc ) with steroidal hyped up braggadocio shouting, taunting and insulting of his political opponent/ring mates. And it seems this type of body slam speaking delivery is exactly what was needed to truly turn on the working class bulk of the angry Repub base. Remember Trump's bullying and demeaning taunts to Jeb Bush during the 2016 nationally televised debates? "Your WEAK Jeb...WEAK." And when Jeb Bush brought up and praised his mother Barbara in the debates, Trump responded derogatorily ..."maybe your mother should be running." And later at one of his rally's Trump mocked Jeb Bush with "Mommy please come ... walk in the snow." How about "Little Marco" or "ugly" Carly Fiorina? Same thing. So, this is what Elizabeth Warren would be up against if she is the Dem choice in 2020 against Donald Trump - the Bully In Chief. This and the angry, huge vote number white man wrath that Trump ( and in deeper reality the 1% ) has corralled and worked up into a blind loyalty vote and support frenzy. The question will be - can Warren stand up to Trump and this angry white America WWF bully type assault and hold her own? And will our nation's women, blacks, young people and other diverse groups rally around her and defend her and get out and vote for her in sufficient Obama type numbers needed to overcome this well organized and massively financed angry white American voter base juggernaut ... or mob?
  24. As I mentioned in my first forum postings a few years ago, I'm like almost all of this thread's participants. I stated that I chose to participate in the forum even though I knew I was not well informed as so many of the older members were. However, at my age, I figured if I didn't get my questions and thoughts out to at least one credible JFK assassination truth seeking forum like this one before I die, I would feel like I cheated myself. Cheated in the sense that for 55 years I have been passionately concerned with the JFK assassination and the real truth about it's genesis, implementation and cover up and had no where to share that passion. I always wanted to do "something" to add to the effort of keeping the JFK truth search flame alive. I do wonder now however, whether some of the older deep research members are pulling back from participatory posting because they feel the forum is too populated with JFK research lay members like me more so than in the past. Just a thought. With that said, I would love to see a celebrity type person become a member and join in. Someone not in their celebrity prime as their membership here might hurt their public image. Rather someone at the end of their career.
  25. I just did a quick length measurement of Oswald's enormous head top to bottom as seen in the Life magazine photo above. I wanted to then use that measurement on other points and objects in the photo. Just with the newspaper or magazine Oswald is holding the length of his head top to bottom takes up 80% of the up and down vertical length of that paper. Hopefully others can do the same with Oswald's up and down head length measurements and compare them to other fixed objects measurements in the photo. Perhaps the staircase steps? Very unscientific I know...but I still feel Oswald's head is way too big for his body in that Life Magazine picture.
