  1. Cue broken record: SPONSORS FACILITATORS MECHANICS When looking at the assassination and related cover-ups in this manner - at least for me - it became crystal clear. One can only guess at the sponsors, educated guesses yes, but by their very nature and the propaganda they control, pinning them down by saying "it was the Rockefellers" may placate a few, but is not really saying anything on which to hold them accountable. Facilitators in this play are the people we blame the most on this forum... the seen CIA, the hidden Military Intelligence. Atlee Phillips for example, Joannides another... Dulles a conduit between them and the Sponsors. A facilitator does what they do to remain in the good graces of the Sponsors - to be accepted (and funded) by them with wild fantasies of becoming one... that hardly ever happens unless that Facilitator shows the capacity to be invisible while in their role. Finally, the Mechanics... the Mafia, Cubans, boots on the ground military... Humes in this case. When facilitator LeMay enters the room Humes wets his pants and does what he is told to do. They are expendable if they resist, and expendable if they don't yet need to be removed. Yet not a single arrest, not a single public accusation, the farce that was the HSCA with Blakey pointing the Mafia finger at the behest of the CIA, while ordered to stay away from Mexico with a 50' pole. Facilitator telling Mechanic what their job is. Sprague wouldn't play along... gone. Specter does... Senator. We get what's his face FILES with his lame confession. "I was elsewhere? Oh, that's my twin brother" Maybe the Mafia provided some of the Mechanics, probably actually did. Rosselli winds up in a drum, where do you suppose these mechanics on the knoll or in DalTex or where-ever are? We must as a community understand Bethesda better than we do without feeling we have to pay homage to Lifton, despite his Book being so important, we can still give him the due he deserves. RFK Jr. has to play the game, so the CIA is the scapegoat because they've always been and are amazingly adept at handling it. and as you mention, it's mention stops the sheep from grazing for a moment and pop their heads up.
  2. Well... I sure hope this doesn't mean you think I am somehow separate and distinct from "the forum" I hope my position was clear... I'll reiterate. Without the Military, the CIA is toothless. Providing a laundry list of who the CIA had killed for political reasons can be found easily... let's see, who was Sec of State during the beginning of these ZR/RIFLE escapades and what was his brother doing and from where does his brother originate ? How many files from the Military Intelligence agencies have you seen compared to the CIA's? How about Immigration and Naturalization files? You bring it up in your question, ask yourself - you think this is the one and only "executive action" the NAVY Seals have committed in defense of our great nation? Why would it be so publicized? Many of you won't like the notion that he was killed as Oswald was killed - a patsy for nations like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the US MIC whose ties to the largest wealth on the planet supersedes all. I've been gathering information of Military Intelligence for as long as I've been researching in hopes I'd get to it now in my retirement... the volume is enormous and consists of publications and studies and reports that are so far out of mainstream access and awareness in favor of the spotlight that shines on the big bad CIA. Not to say they are not big and bad, just that one must also ask oneself... how long prior to the CIA was the military involved in intelligence? Hundreds of years in the US, thousands of years in parts of the world. You think this apparatus was going to just hand over these reigns - how do people in power, stay in power? They make it look like things are changing when they never do. Just the history of acronyms within the military will drive you bonkers. Yes, I am long winded... the answer to your question is yes, of course. In fact, if any of the CIA's Ops were not Military in nature, support, and coverup I'd be very surprised.
  3. Well, the ONI memo dated Nov. 27 says a witness saw LHO and Ruby together trying to get a stage mike fixed. Ben... I'd ask why in the first place JC here would bother asking the question... especially when he needs to add in the snarky, back-handed insult directed specifically at me due to my understanding of the evidence at a depth he couldn't find with both hands and a flashlight To this is what he refers: https://www.kennedysandking.com/images/pdf/JudythBaker-DJ.pdf which proves definitively that JVB is one of the most effective coat-tail celebrities in the JFK cesspool of carpetbaggers. Members of JC's ilk can't fathom the Harvey and Lee reality so they pummel away at every opportunity thinking they are making a differece to those who have taken the time and done their homework. There are a number of posters who feel it their duty to dispel the conclusions - more power to them... threads have been started with the opposing viewpoint and supporting evidence provided... make up your own mind is just fine with me. Making the effort as JC here does, to attack the concept regardless of the topic discussed appears to me as a bit obsessed - JC... don't bother responding, you've been on ignore so long now and life here has been so much less annoying... but for others please keep it up... the more you post the more transparent you get.. . I only open your drek up in cases like this. You showing any interest in anything I post is so amazingly ingenuous it's nauseating. worse yet, you asking these "dripping with sarcasm" questions. A blind man saying he can't see is no big revelation.
  4. I'll go look Ben, I am fairly sure we know who that was and have his direct statements... yet I need to expand upon these ONI documents and Taylor. Add in what Steve posted from Dec 1962... Add in the other document I posted about July 1964, and one I did not post about the creation of these files and who got what information from them.. Taylor and the ONI - Navy was asked for images of Oswald early on.. October in fact. But they didn't supply them. Oswald's files are consistently referred to in the hands, or passing thru the hands of Taylor at times well before it matters, well after he's dead, and to elicit early doubts about the OSWALD/RUBY relationship enough so to change the meaning of his killing and the implications of his connections. You really think the ONI was not aware of the Ruby connections? Do we ever hear or see anything about the Navy helping with the investigation or rather silencing thru military threat anyone, especially from the NAVAL hospital in Bethesda (not the Army's Walter Reed even though it was the doctors who felt an "Army" GENERAL was in charge of the "operation") to reveal anything, ever. I truly get the impression members do not grasp the pre/post Parkland/Bethesda changes and the extent to which the 3 shot scenario was so easily disproven. From this NAVAL hospital - since this memo is written during the autopsy - where does that bullet go? The manhole bullet, the chrome dented on the limo, Connally's multiple injuries. O'Connor's intercostal bullet found and removed... on and on and all under the command, ultimately, of Rufus Taylor. Below this is a chart I drew up to try and understand who was who and where their orders originated. Posted it on a different thread but very applicable here. I just find it very interesting the level of interest this man, in these positions had for our little Oswald up to a year before the assassination and throughout the WC process, and beyond. Rufus Lackland Taylor Jr.[1] (January 6, 1910 – September 14, 1978) was an officer in the United States Navy.[2][3] Eventually he became Director of the Office of Naval Intelligence and held the rank of Vice Admiral. In 1966 he was appointed as Deputy Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), then shortly thereafter as Deputy Director of the CIA, where he served from 1966 to 1969.
  5. This is the only version of the memo I have at the moment. ONI is not great on removing them.
  6. Paul, great to see you... I hope you're well as is the rest of your universe. I've been remiss in staying in touch, I plan to remedy that.. I'd have to believe the populace is so thirsty for some integrity, common sense, and intelligence that Jr. is not just a viable alternative, but the only alternative. What troubles me is the same populace buying into the "CIA did all the bad things the US has done" mentality while forgetting Ike wasn't talking about THEM but the Military Industrial Congressional Complex ( I add Congressional as I seem to remember that Ike wanted to include it but was taken off that path for being too close to a bigger truth) I don't have those worries. Even Jr. would not be crazy enough to bring them into the conversation.... Say bad dog to the doberman chained to the fence out front but don't you dare start talking about the multi-national's profits enabling them to own everything from food to war to banks to us. As an aside - much talk about Russia floating around with a bunch of Big Brains one-upping each other, yet not a word is mentioned about George Kennan or his writings. The LONG Telegram & 1948's The Sources of Soviet Conduct Or is my going to the source just too simple and naive? Same as it every was.... Moscow, February 22, 1946 Answer to Dept's 284, Feb 3 [13] involves questions so intricate, so delicate, so strange to our form of thought, and so important to analysis of our international environment that I cannot compress answers into single brief message without yielding to what I feel would be dangerous degree of over-simplification. I hope, therefore, Dept will bear with me if I submit in answer to this question five parts, subjects of which will be roughly as follows: (1) Basic features of post-war Soviet outlook. (2) Background of this outlook (3) Its projection in practical policy on official level. (4) Its projection on unofficial level. (5) Practical deductions from standpoint of US policy. I apologize in advance for this burdening of telegraphic channel; but questions involved are of such urgent importance, particularly in view of recent events, that our answers to them, if they deserve attention at all, seem to me to deserve it at once. There follows Part 1: Basic Features of Post War Soviet Outlook, as Put Forward by Official Propaganda Machine Are as Follows: (a) USSR still lives in antagonistic "capitalist encirclement" with which in the long run there can be no permanent peaceful coexistence. As stated by Stalin in 1927 to a delegation of American workers: "In course of further development of international revolution there will emerge two centers of world significance: a socialist center, drawing to itself the countries which tend toward socialism, and a capitalist center, drawing to itself the countries that incline toward capitalism. Battle between these two centers for command of world economy will decide fate of capitalism and of communism in entire world." (b) Capitalist world is beset with internal conflicts, inherent in nature of capitalist society. These conflicts are insoluble by means of peaceful compromise. Greatest of them is that between England and US. (c) Internal conflicts of capitalism inevitably generate wars. Wars thus generated may be of two kinds: intra-capitalist wars between two capitalist states, and wars of intervention against socialist world. Smart capitalists, vainly seeking escape from inner conflicts of capitalism, incline toward latter. (d) Intervention against USSR, while it would be disastrous to those who undertook it, would cause renewed delay in progress of Soviet socialism and must therefore be forestalled at all costs. (e) Conflicts between capitalist states, though likewise fraught with danger for USSR, nevertheless hold out great possibilities for advancement of socialist cause, particularly if USSR remains militarily powerful, ideologically monolithic and faithful to its present brilliant leadership. (f) It must be borne in mind that capitalist world is not all bad. In addition to hopelessly reactionary and bourgeois elements, it includes (1) certain wholly enlightened and positive elements united in acceptable communistic parties and (2) certain other elements (now described for tactical reasons as progressive or democratic) whose reactions, aspirations and activities happen to be "objectively" favorable to interests of USSR These last must be encouraged and utilized for Soviet purposes. (g) Among negative elements of bourgeois-capitalist society, most dangerous of all are those whom Lenin called false friends of the people, namely moderate-socialist or social-democratic leaders (in other words, non-Communist left-wing). These are more dangerous than out-and-out reactionaries, for latter at least march under their true colors, whereas moderate left-wing leaders confuse people by employing devices of socialism to seine interests of reactionary capital. <SNIP> (final paragraphs - no longer words of Stalin's speech but Keenan's analysis) But I would like to record my conviction that problem is within our power to solve--and that without recourse to any general military conflict.. And in support of this conviction there are certain observations of a more encouraging nature I should like to make: (1) Soviet power, unlike that of Hitlerite Germany, is neither schematic nor adventunstic. It does not work by fixed plans. It does not take unnecessary risks. Impervious to logic of reason, and it is highly sensitive to logic of force. For this reason it can easily withdraw--and usually does when strong resistance is encountered at any point. Thus, if the adversary has sufficient force and makes clear his readiness to use it, he rarely has to do so. If situations are properly handled there need be no prestige-engaging showdowns. (2) Gauged against Western World as a whole, Soviets are still by far the weaker force. Thus, their success will really depend on degree of cohesion, firmness and vigor which Western World can muster. And this is factor which it is within our power to influence. (3) Success of Soviet system, as form of internal power, is not yet finally proven. It has yet to be demonstrated that it can survive supreme test of successive transfer of power from one individual or group to another. Lenin's death was first such transfer, and its effects wracked Soviet state for 15 years. After Stalin's death or retirement will be second. But even this will not be final test. Soviet internal system will now be subjected, by virtue of recent territorial expansions, to series of additional strains which once proved severe tax on Tsardom. We here are convinced that never since termination of civil war have mass of Russian people been emotionally farther removed from doctrines of Communist Party than they are today. In Russia, party has now become a great and--for the moment--highly successful apparatus of dictatorial administration, but it has ceased to be a source of emotional inspiration. Thus, internal soundness and permanence of movement need not yet be regarded as assured. (4) All Soviet propaganda beyond Soviet security sphere is basically negative and destructive. It should therefore be relatively easy to combat it by any intelligent and really constructive program. For those reasons I think we may approach calmly and with good heart problem of how to deal with Russia. As to how this approach should be made, I only wish to advance, by way of conclusion, following comments: (1) Our first step must be to apprehend, and recognize for what it is, the nature of the movement with which we are dealing. We must study it with same courage, detachment, objectivity, and same determination not to be emotionally provoked or unseated by it, with which doctor studies unruly and unreasonable individual. (2) We must see that our public is educated to realities of Russian situation. I cannot over-emphasize importance of this. Press cannot do this alone. It must be done mainly by Government, which is necessarily more experienced and better informed on practical problems involved. In this we need not be deterred by [ugliness?] of picture. I am convinced that there would be far less hysterical anti-Sovietism in our country today if realities of this situation were better understood by our people. There is nothing as dangerous or as terrifying as the unknown. It may also be argued that to reveal more information on our difficulties with Russia would reflect unfavorably on Russian-American relations. I feel that if there is any real risk here involved, it is one which we should have courage to face, and sooner the better. But I cannot see what we would be risking. Our stake in this country, even coming on heels of tremendous demonstrations of our friendship for Russian people, is remarkably small. We have here no investments to guard, no actual trade to lose, virtually no citizens to protect, few cultural contacts to preserve. Our only stake lies in what we hope rather than what we have; and I am convinced we have better chance of realizing those hopes if our public is enlightened and if our dealings with Russians are placed entirely on realistic and matter-of-fact basis. (3) Much depends on health and vigor of our own society. World communism is like malignant parasite which feeds only on diseased tissue. This is point at which domestic and foreign policies meets Every courageous and incisive measure to solve internal problems of our own society, to improve self-confidence, discipline, morale and community spirit of our own people, is a diplomatic victory over Moscow worth a thousand diplomatic notes and joint communiqués. If we cannot abandon fatalism and indifference in face of deficiencies of our own society, Moscow will profit--Moscow cannot help profiting by them in its foreign policies. (4) We must formulate and put forward for other nations a much more positive and constructive picture of sort of world we would like to see than we have put forward in past. It is not enough to urge people to develop political processes similar to our own. Many foreign peoples, in Europe at least, are tired and frightened by experiences of past, and are less interested in abstract freedom than in security. They are seeking guidance rather than responsibilities. We should be better able than Russians to give them this. And unless we do, Russians certainly will. (5) Finally we must have courage and self-confidence to cling to our own methods and conceptions of human society. After All, the greatest danger that can befall us in coping with this problem of Soviet communism, is that we shall allow ourselves to become like those with whom we are coping. KENNAN
  7. I hear you on this but... that seems to me way more information than Oswald would ever need to know. Alvarado (red headed negro and $6500) was a Phillips asset imo doing what he was supposed to do for that Cuban end game. (intimidating doc # 1) Most people are aware but don't incorporate Tampa, and Arthur Valle from Chicago in the weeks prior to Dallas. Failed assassination plans. "The Chicago Plot" is available online as a download I believe and is worth the effort. the below reports on him and the distancing from LHO - deny deny deny - leads me to my comment What if they got him in Chicago and VALLEE is our OSWALD? The sheep-dipping can be made to look like it's been going on for as long as they want it to look and we'd be having these discussion about the mental ex-marine with an arsenal taking out JFK all on his own... How does that play into your scenario ? Ponder this... all the activities that Oswald engaged in had the dual purpose of establishing his bona fides in the circles he was traveling to gather the info he was gathering on left and right Cuban groups AND should it be necessary, these same bona fides can get turned on him as a Castro sympathizer - FPCC - who killed JFK in a plot organizer by Castro.. cue Alvarado... let's go blow up Cuba. I think that may have been part of the reason the CIA planted him in Mexico when he was really doing FBI work in New Orleans and Dallas. 1. to shut the FBI up and 2. to make it look like he was trying to get to Cuba giving him even more bone fides with the Cubans in the know. Cue the credits as the music grows in intensity... https://kevinjshay44.medium.com/documents-confirm-arrest-of-suspect-in-plot-to-kill-jfk-in-chicago-three-weeks-before-dallas-721c9ee8f52a. http://www.thechicagoplot.com/The Chicago Plot.pdf (this too could have just been false flag to make it look like a number of Lone Nut marines were looking to kill JFK so, believe us when we tell you, Ozzie was just another Lone Nut with no connection to anyone especially the intelligence community).
  8. Thanks Ben, for expanding on your comments and being persistent. what gives me pause in accepting something like that is the planning and time involved in arranging the "after", the cover-up. On the afternoon of the assassination in Mexico, agents from the what was said to be the "highest level of government" arrived at each of the bus line's main and satellite locations and simply took all the records related to Sept 26 - Oct 4. How would they possibly know to do that with LHO and a few exiles being the prime movers? That's just one small example... the cover-up was amazingly well orchestrated, with contingencies and double sets of facts in virtually every key area (the tramps come to mind) so that witnesses can be telling the truth and be contradicting a different story to confuse all at the same time without knowing it. JOANNIDES is a great name to pull out as an example of subterfuge to the highest extent - he was the liaison for the CIA to the investigators. Now you know I would never leave you without a few documents The signature block here is actually Joannides. and below a fitness report for a very applicable period of time.
  9. "Claudia Furiati, a Latin American journalist, wrote ZR RIfle: The Plot To Kill Kennedy and Castro." (thx Jim) I was referring to William Harvey's manual on assassination - if you are looking for someone to blame
  10. Sounds to me you've found a subject you like... pull a Penn Jones and research the h e l l out of it and tell us what you find. You are aware who wrote ZR/RIFLE, yes?
  11. Great finds - thank you. From H&L: Three days later, on Friday, December 28, Mrs. Declan (Katya) Ford held a post-Christmas party gathering at her house in Dallas. At the request of Jeanne DeMohrenschildt. who Mrs. Ford had known for 14 years she invited the Oswalds to her party. This was the third and last time Katya Ford would see either of the Oswald's. The party was attended by Lev Aronson, Thomas and Natalie Ray, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel F. Sullivan, George Bouhe, Anna and Teofil Meller, Tatiana Biggers, Samuel Ballen, Lydia Dymitruk, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harris, George and Jeanne DeMohrenschildt, and Yaeko Okui. Nearly all of these people were either Russian or married to a former Russian national. George Bouhe remembered, "Late in the evening George DeMohrenschildt and his wife appeared, accompanied by Lee Harvey and Marina. I could almost hear a gasp among some of the people who were around me.
  12. Keyvan, I thought you might appreciate this... an org/relationship chart I did many years ago to try and better understand who was with who and who out-ranked who. At the top is Admiral Anderson, JCS. Lipsey claims to have flown in a helicopter with Wehle to Bethesda (see below) After helping lift Kennedy’s body into one of those hearses, Maj. Gen. Philip C. Wehle, commander of the Washington, D.C., military district, gave his 24-year-old aide a sidearm and an order: Do not leave Kennedy’s body during the autopsy procedure and do not allow the body to be moved without authorization. Lipsey told the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1978 that he was a bit traumatized by the order. He had never seen a dead man, let alone an autopsy. “(But) I couldn’t tell the general, ‘No, I’m not going in the room,’” he said. The hearse carrying Kennedy’s body arrived at Bethesda Naval Hospital’s rear entrance, a loading dock. Lipsey and Wehle had hopped from Air Force One to the hospital in a helicopter. A “decoy” hearse, accompanied by Jacqueline Kennedy and presidential aides, had arrived at the front of the hospital a few minutes earlier*. As expected, it drew a mob of awaiting reporters, photographers and onlookers. *what Lipsey was never asked and never explained was how and when the casket in the "decoy" hearse became empty since this was the same casket we all saw being loaded onto AF1 at Love Field. The "7:17" written above is the time Kellerman says he and Greer, Sibert and O'Niell brought in the casket which arrives at the front, Lipsey's decoy, and finally makes it to the back door. Other reports place than delivery from a different set of people headed by Dennis David prior to 6:30pm The official autopsy started at 8pm, yet over the years Humes' time for this moves back until he finally admits it was around 6:30 that he started work on JFK.
  13. Great post Joe... A number of years ago I thought it might be fruitful, and fun, to use images and short quotes to illustrate some of the conflicts in the record as well as show some of the "who's who" of the crime. To use color to emphasis my points... That line of Dulles' has always stuck with me as it seems to have resonated with you. And Kennedy does this to these men while in his early 40's. People really don't know anymore how sad a day that was for the future of our nation. Or how much ideology based hatred these men had for him due to his upsetting their apple-cart.
  14. I agree Ben, in principle. Unless you are ordered to do something, a highly compartmentalized something, which by default includes you in the crimes being perpetrated which you may or may not even realize until it is way too late. What they did at Bethesda had little to do with BoP exiles - yet those who partook are as guilty as the people pulling the triggers and could be hung out to dry with a glance from any of the BRASS in the room. "Under penalty of the full weight of the Uniform Code of Military Justice you will never divulge what you saw, heard or did with regards to the assignment you've just been given." == This is the one for the CIA. "The Organization"
  15. Pierre Fink - Shaw Trial Curtis LeMay, 4-Star General, United States Air Force: promoted October 29, 1951. It was said he removed his 4-star cluster and was not wearing it in the room. a Single star General is know as a Brigadier General. I do not believe there was any other General there from the Air Force. A doctor remembers thousands of parts of Anatomy to become a doctor, and and untold # of procedures, symptoms, consequences, treatments, etc... yet the names of those in the room barking orders who could destroy Finck's career in a heartbeat, well, not so much. Q: Now, can you give me the name then of the General that was in charge of the autopsy, as you testified about? A: Well, there was no General in charge of the autopsy. There were several people, as I have stated before, I heard Dr. Humes state who was in charge here, and he stated that the General answered "I am," it may have been pertaining to operations other than the autopsy, it does not mean the Army General was in charge of the autopsy, but when Dr. Humes asked who was in charge here, it may have been who was in charge of the operations, but not of the autopsy, and by "operations," I mean the over-all supervision. Q: Which includes your report. Does it not? A: Sir? Q: Which includes your report. Does it not? A: No. Q: It does not? A: I would not say so, because the report I signed was signed by two other pathologists and at no time did this Army General say that he would have anything to do with signing this autopsy report. Q: Can you give me the Army General's name? A: I don't remember it. Q: How did you know he was an Army General? A: Because Dr. Humes said so. Q: Was he in uniform? A: I don't remember. Q: Were any of the Admirals or Generals or any of the Military in uniform in that autopsy room?A: Yes.Q: Were there any other Generals in uniform?A: I remember a Brigadier General of the Air Force, but I don't remember his name
  16. As I posted elsewhere Michael... Jefferson owned slaves, doesn't make the Dec of Ind he wrote any less momentous. You are aware that some sites are simply avenues for published work to see the light of day... if we judged Fox news on everything they've pushed, based on your standard, we'd not be able to accept anything, any one of their journalists offered, ever. But that's not the case. Maybe you've shown us the other side of the Prouty coin... we should always be careful to accept 100% of anything. Your work can also can be respectfully read, yet not agreed with, without it being an indictment. One man gathers what another man spills.
  17. Ah, opinions. I try and base my opinions on the results of research and the work of others who have come before me. I have no desire to assume what you ask, for I see it much differently that you. If Prouty was at all allowed to participate in forming his protection, no windows are open in DP or along the parade route. Hundreds of military and/or police would have insured his safety and never have allowed the turn onto Elm as it was. A set of ramps (remember this is the military) could easily have been place on Main after the overpass to allow him to cross over and get to the freeway, or they could take ELM all the way down. He doesn't even name who ordered the stand down of protection as he is aware how high up that would have needed to be. (Desmond Fitzgerald, Asst Sec of Defense and an ex Cravath, Swain and Moore lawyer? I don't know... what I do know is the TEXTRON story I posted and how the removal of JFK if followed by escalation.) Compare the pre and post NSAMs related to the removal of troops and foreign policy prepared by Bundy before he was assassinated. Of note is item #7 which changes from helping Vietnam "develop additional governmental resources" versus "7. Planning should include different levels of possible increased activity" Prouty exposes the Hamlet program in his book. a major intentional FUBAR situation designed to escalate the war... yet disguised as something else. How would you see him being useful to Lansdale and why. Please show your work National Security Action Memorandum 273 - 11-26-63 compared to NSAM 263.docx
  18. I read what you wrote and see a hypothesis claiming Prouty had foreknowledge of the assassination and does what he does to distance himself from that day and hide his involvement based on 3 accurate statements which you have not directly connected to your hypothesis. Having children and integration of schools is a statement. Can you offer anything else from his actions which indicates his hatred enough of the man to be involved and cover up his murder? You assume he was aware of something ergo Lansdale sends him away just in time not to be involved... Or maybe Lansdale is smart enough to realize that the overly honest Prouty would recognize the Security void immediately, as he did, and make a big stink about it, throwing a monkey wrench into the cover-up. Ultimately that's what he did and why he is being vilified from every direction except those interested in the truth. I think the hypothesis is worth pursuing if indeed you really want to show the connections are real, rather than just drop it on the forum and see if someone comes to the rescue. For as you can see there are definitely two camps about the man here, and you've seen the positive support of the man as well as paragraphs from his doubters. We have yet to see any of the Prouty doubters come to your aid with anything considered supporting evidence to help prove your hypothesis. My quick explanation of his being removed by EGL due to his position and knowledge is just as possible as yours accusing him based on loosely connected, if connected at all, "accurate" statements. I don't challenge your hypothesis to make you defensive, just to add some meat to them bones please.
  19. As time passes and new things come to light, revisiting images and exhibits which have become second nature to see and notice what we used to notice - are seen in a completely new light and shed new revelations. Not trying to be obtuse, just respectful. The WCR exhibits contains a number of sections where Z-frames are offered. I've looked at them hundreds of if not thousands of times and did not see what I now see.
  20. With new eyes, I'm going back thru what few ONI related documents I have and am finding Rear Adm Taylor was in possession of Oswald's files for most of the WC tenure with a memo showing 3 copies are made of his Case History File with one going back into file since Taylor was still in possession - Jul 1964 - I had paired it with this other ONI doc from early evening on the 22nd. Here is the other Taylor doc from the 27th. They talk about forwarding on the FBI and also comment about Oswald's apparent recognition of Ruby moments before he is killed with an interesting observation by Taylor. My knowledge of these documents and what they mean is limited while I know Larry H. and others are much more well-versed. I'm only now restarting my ONI research so maybe this is premature... any info on these docs and related would be appreciated DJ
  21. Again KS, fair enough yet we are all researchers in one form or another... where has the path you are on trying to confirm these reasons he wrote a book in 1992, leading you? In the same paragraph you say you don't make accusations, you accuse him of rewriting history. That is not an accurate statement, that is a conclusion from your interpretation of something you seem to have found or know which disagrees with something we all can see by reading the book and knowing who he was... You accuse him of whitewashing his role with the publication of that book... and I'd like to know why, beyond the 2 other statements you call accurate. Thanks
  22. As I remember it Ron, the doctors themselves said something about Admirals (which we'd expect to see at a naval facility like Galloway) and Generals (who we would not) yelling from the Gallery - which was only a smallish 3 level grandstand - to "don't do that", "stop that and move on", etc... I'd have to find the passage, but yes, one of the staff does talk about the man's cigar and smoking it during the autopsy. Found it: Deep Background: The Rift between President Kennedy and General LeMay - by Douglas Horne, Chief Analyst for Military Records (ARRB) <snip> The anecdote’s essentials are that Dr. Humes, smelling cigar smoke in the morgue, loudly ordered whoever was smoking a cigar to ‘put the damn thing out,’ and told O’Connor to ‘see to it,’ or words to that effect. According to O’Connor, while Humes had his back turned to the gallery and was busy conducting the autopsy on the President’s body, he (O’Connor) went over to the gallery to enforce Humes’ dictate, only to run into the Air Force Chief of Staff, Curtis LeMay, who arrogantly blew smoke in O’Connor’s face. When O’Conner informed Dr. Humes of the identify of the culprit, so the story goes, Humes turned quite pale, stuck his tail between his legs, and that was the end of the matter. According to O’Connor, when he saw LeMay the General had removed the four-star insignia from his uniform, but O’Connor recognized him nevertheless. [This is not at all a farfetched possibility. LeMay was an extremely well-known military man who had a very efficient public relations machine of his own, second only to J. Edgar Hoover’s; for example in 1955, he had been glorified in a Jimmy Stewart and June Allyson Cold War film called “Strategic Air Command,” where he was appropriately portrayed by a character named “General Hawks” by actor Frank Lovejoy. Many Americans knew who the real Curtis LeMay was in 1963, and knew what he looked like. As Brugioni wrote, “his beetle brows, jutting jaw, sagging jowls, shock of slicked down black hair, and ubiquitous brown cigar,” gave him the visage of a bulldog. He was a living icon to many in 1963, especially former and active members of the military. ] While O’Connor’s anecdotal evidence certainly does not prove LeMay was present, the behavior described sounds very much like the real Curtis LeMay. The entries in the log book rescued by Chuck Holmes prove that LeMay had more than enough time to get to Bethesda from National Airport before President Kennedy’s body arrived from Andrews AFB; LeMay landed 48 minutes prior to Air Force One, and Washington National Airport is much closer to Bethesda than Andrews Air Force Base.
  23. G. William Miller was chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from March 8, 1978, to August 6, 1979. Before joining the Board of Governors, he was a Class B director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Miller was born in 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He graduated from the US Coast Guard Academy with a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering. He later received a law degree from the University of California’s School of Law at Berkeley. After completing law school, Miller worked as an attorney for Cravath, Swain & Moore from 1952 to 1956. He then left the firm to join Textron Inc. He became vice president of the company in 1957 and president in 1960. He later served as the firm’s chief executive officer (1968) and chairman and CEO (1974). With his accomplishments, Miller built a reputation for himself as a capable and astute business leader, winning the respect of other members of the business community. As chairman at the Board of Governors, Miller became known for his expansionary monetary policies. Unlike some of his predecessors, Miller was less focused on combating inflation, but rather was intent on promoting economic growth even if it resulted in inflation. Miller argued that the Federal Reserve should take measures to encourage investment instead of fight rising prices. He believed that inflation was caused by many factors beyond the Board’s control. Miller left the Board of Governors after being appointed Secretary of the Treasury, where he served until January 20, 1981. In addition to serving the Board and the Treasury, Miller held other government positions, including chairman of the US Industrial Payroll Savings Committee and chairman of Plans for Progress (President’s Committee on Equal Employment Opportunity). He also held officer roles in many professional and charitable organizations, including the Business Council, the United Nations Association of the USA, and the Leukemia Society. Miller died in 2006. https://www.federalreservehistory.org/people/g-william-miller
