  1. Or the shooter hiding in the trunk with the weapon, and driven away by his spotter. Roger Craig reported a DPD officer letting cars out of the parking lot without checking them.
  2. JFK's Wristwatches, and Other Presidential Timepieces What's the assassination connection? The Cartier is the one claimed to still carry traces of mercury inflected blood by the author of that dubious book whose name I can't remember (which posits that Ronald Reagan actually cared about justice for JFK). The tank watch is the one given him by Grant Stockdale. Further afield, the Rolex inscribed by Marilyn Monroe is strikingly suspicious. Otherwise, a great article for the presidentially minded. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/personal-timepieces-every-united-states-president-ever
  3. Happens to me, too. Thanks for the article. It's good to have a fuller picture of JFK in the trauma room.
  4. As I read it, it's much of the face covered for treating the throat wound, with more than one doctor saying the back of the head was not obscured. The procedural illustrations of standard practices bear that out.
  5. Not doubting your research Ben. Just trying to figure out if anyone can remember a posited false-flag written about in the 1970s, or other early reports. My Bible in those days was They've Killed the President by Robert Sam Anson, a book that's taken some fire in years since (on grounds I can't remember). I wonder if I read it there.
  6. Does anyone know the origin of the posited false-flag "attempt" in Dealey Plaza? I only recall reading about it in a non-fiction work between 1974 and 1988, the year Don DeLillo's novel Libra was published. As I've said before, my first thought upon reading a review of Libra was, "Oh, DeLillo's heard that rumor, too." But what is the provenance of the rumor? Was it speculation by researchers in the 1960s to 1970s, or did someone with first-hand knowledge of the case suggest or state that there was a false-flag possibility? Does anyone remember their first encounter with the rumor?
  7. If Garrison was beholden to Marcello, and Marcello and the Mob did it, why would Marcello permit a JFKA investigation at all? Regardless of Garrison's loyalties, unwanted facts could have been unearthed, and other investigators could have turned them on the Mob. At the time, there was no incentive for the Mob to foster or permit an investigation blaming the CIA. There was every reason not to. All there was to attract attention to the Mob then was limited media mention of Jack Ruby's sketchy involvements, which few were concerned about. To sponsor Garrison's CIA investigation, even on a "Screw the government!" level, would be borderline suicide for Mob leaders.
  8. See this video. Seems to collect all known "compromising photo" testimony. https://archive.org/details/TheSecretFileonJEdgarHoover
  9. Kamala Harris's stepdaughter looks like she's in over her head in the Famous Offspring business... It's possible a crashing sound will follow. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-10590767/Kamala-Harris-stepdaughter-Ella-Emhoff-shows-abs-Paris-Fashion-Week.html
  10. Is there an end to this guy? It's like in the 1960s, when Esquire magazine would print a pic of Dick Nixon every few issues, captioned, "Why is this man laughing?" Of course, Nixon got comeback mileage out of that... Trump: US should put Chinese flags on F-22 jets and ‘bomb dooky out of’ Russia https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/mar/07/donald-trump-russia-ukraine-jets-chinese
  11. Henry Gonzalez was a mealy-mouthed equivocator: I was there, and there's nothing to see here, because I didn't see it.
  12. That's the dummy used in the autopsy scene of Oliver Stone's JFK. There's a "Making of" doc that shows Stone and the techs on the autopsy room set, blocking out the shot beside the dummy - it's unintentionally creepy.
  13. In Altgens 6, even given the compactness of the plaza, the shadows labelled as Hill's and Moorman's look closer to the TSBD than you would guess from their location in Zapruder - far down and west along that long "sea of green" backdrop.
  14. Thanks for that, Gil. I'm still processing it, amid distractions.
  15. Like I mentioned above: [N]o one could have been certain as to who in government at any date after the JFKA would see the composite, and what their disposition toward the contents might be. There would be a difference between the viewers desired and the viewers who could conceivably see the composite. So decisions made as to what could be seen in the composite had to be across-the-board convincing of the cover story, at least within the limits of argument.
  16. Kirk, I think we're concerned about the people who will read it, and believe it and act on it. Things were more civil before the Civil War, and look what happened...
  17. I'm more worried about politicians authorizing Americans to kill each other.
  18. Here's a targeted assassination attempt, the kind Kinzinger wants to dredge up from the muck of the American psyche: Gunman tried to shoot Louisville mayoral candidate in his office: cops https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/gunman-tried-to-shoot-louisville-mayoral-candidate-in-his-office-cops/ar-AATRiMN Dan White rolls over in grave, requests Twinkie: reporters
  19. Persons interested in counterterror profiteering since 9/11 should review this article about financial loss and corruption surrounding the Defense department's AFRICOM command. An eye-opener. https://warisboring.com/drug-wars-missing-money-and-a-phantom-500-million/ Drug Wars, Missing Money and a Phantom $500 Million Pentagon watchdog calls out two commands for financial malfeasance
  20. Not to split hairs on this fine piece of Gil's work, but, while the composite film (and the original Zapruder) were not meant to be seen by the general public, no one could have been certain as to who in government at any date after the JFKA would see the composite, and what their disposition toward the contents might be. There would be a difference between the viewers desired and the viewers who could conceivably see the composite. So decisions made as to what could be seen in the composite had to be across-the-board convincing of the cover story, at least within the limits of argument. Also, if pains were taken to set up alternate photographers shooting from Zapruder's POV, then there would already be a plan as to where to do the composite work after the film(s) left Dallas. It would not be left to circumstantial decision. In that way, the film alteration mirrors the body alteration, perhaps not just metaphorically but physically - down to the bloody "flap" appearing on the right side of the head, unseen at Parkland but visible in the Zapruder composite and the autopsy photos suspected of being retouched to elide the rear blowout. (With those autopsy photos being a third mirror, for an infinite reflection.) It would seem that the composite film was made from a copy that had been reviewed in Washington while Dino Brugioni was printing stills and preparing briefing boards from the original. Doug Horne's breakneck timeline aside, there would be no time to review the film after Brugioni finished, make the decision to send it to Hawkeye Works, and then get the composite back to NPIC for McMahon and Hunter to make new prints from and prepare alternate briefing boards. The fact that Brugioni got the original points toward some error made in releasing the film to him prematurely. I'm thinking an independent team of nominal Secret Service agents (actually CIA?) was put in play perhaps while Brugioni was still working, and carried the copy from Washington to Rochester, and then back to NPIC. What exactly did McMahon and Hunter say about the version they received, in contrast to what Brugioni describes receiving in the Horne film? Was that an unslit 16mm/8mm, or a 16mm single strip?
  21. Sure, why not? Let's encourage an assassination culture from the top down: 'Targeted Assassinations' Coming if Civil War Breaks Out: Adam Kinzinger https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/targeted-assassinations-coming-if-civil-war-breaks-out-adam-kinzinger/ar-AATKbqK?ocid= Let a thousand Forums bloom!
  22. We arrived here because members were discussing the covert relations between Shaw-Ferrie-Oswald. I questioned whether Shaw relied on Ferrie to handle Oswald not because they moved in two of the same circles, but because Banister supplied Ferrie as handler. This would have been a mistake for Shaw, because Ferrie's visibility as a homosexual increased Shaw's visibility, adding one more point of identification to "Clay Bertrand." My point in defending you and Oliver Stone throughout was that Garrison was not witch hunting homosexuals, but that the homosexual associations of Shaw and Ferrie made them visible and memorable. One could also blame Dean Andrews, who did the worst job of shutting up, and connected Bertrand to homosexuals.
