  3. Wow, bear with me while I recover from my tirade in my post above... Yes, there were uniforms. Most CAP cadets wore them, but some did not (in the New Orleans and Moisant Squadrons. I'm not sure how it was in other states, but I think most wore uniforms. David..FWIW..lho in the back with cap, for your collection...b

  7. FWIW, the "lodged behind the Ear" memo was written during the autopsy, when information was quite sketchy and transmitted via the phone. The doctors claimed the largest fragment recovered during this autopsy was recovered from behind the right Eye. Eye, not Ear. As a result, I think it's highly probable the reference to the ear was simply a mistake, and that the fragment in question was the so-called 6.5 mm fragment on the A-P x-ray, the fragment recovered from behind the right eye. i think you may be referring to this documentation,, but it is not the same as the previous document...b hi pat; No; the first (bullet) document is referenced from Parkland, the two others (fragment) from bethesda, the first (bullet)has nothing to do with the autopsy...b fwiw: a 1967 oral history of Burkley done by William McHugh for the JFK Library. I found this question and Burkley's answer interesting. MCHUGH: I see. Do you agree with the Warren Report on the number of bullets that entered the President's body? BURKLEY: I would not care to be quoted on that.

  10. Thomas; here are two links for you, parking lot Lancer..thread.. lancer thread locked gate parking lot.. http://www.jfklancer...ing_type=search Steve Thomas seems to have quite a bit of information on the parking lot...perhaps he will join you....b
  11. Thomas, there is i believe a well researched thread at the Lancer forum on the subject of the parking lot, for now all i have is this old post by jerry dealey, fwiw..below photo was taken in 67, i have never seen the photos mentioned by jerry, i will have a look through the parking lot file, for anything pertaining to.....b Jerry Dealey Fri Jul-08-05 07:12 PM=20 Member since Jul 18th 2002=20 110 posts =20 =20 #32510, "RE: Locked gate at parking lot?" In response to Reply # 23 =20 =20 Gary Mack did respond to me, and said that = a Times Herald photographer took a picture of policemen talking with a = lady that was trying to leave the parking lot. He said it was right in = front of the TSBD looking west, and there appeared to be a "sliding = gate" there. He said it was on the Internet somewhere, but I could not = find it. I cannot see one on the Elm St Extension, from either = above, or any other photos. However it could be alongside the TSBD = extension. The photos I posted, with the sign, appear to be = further back, to the north of the parking that is accessible from the = Elm Extension. It appears that you went over a railroad track, with a = number of buildings (sheds) along it, and the chain link fence I see in = the photos, along with the sign, is there. Maybe the Railroad workers parked in one area, and the = Deputies in another, and the TSBD in another. I would think the Railroad = workers parked in the area accessible from the Elm St Extension, because = it was later determined that the TSBD Annex was actually on Railroad = property (why it was torn down). But all of the land back to Pacific = avenue, where the tracks go over Stemmons (see....I almost said the = RIVER....my Dallas History got in the way again) was Railroad property, = so that is no help either. Maybe one of the Railroad people is still alive, and = can help? Respectfully, Jerry Dealey
  12. :rolleyes:Thanking you very much Greg; there are many who had become concerned with his well being, pass along all the best wishes and prayers directed his way, when in contact with him, again thanks....b
  13. Jim, so your alternative to Oswald quickly and secretly learning a language courtesy of the Monterey Language Institute is that another completely different person was exchanged for the person who we know as Robert's brother? But instead of coming up with a time Oswald could have studied Russian while in the Marines, you adopt the substitution theory and don't bother to wonder what the real Oswald was going while his double was running around the USSR for three years? I think if you ask the question of how Oswald learned Russian so quickly and secretly, the Monterey program, first introduced during a secret Warren Commission meeting, is a good answer, a possibility that is not mentioned in the article devoted to the subject. And the conclusion, one that you apparently accept, that Oswald was substituted by a completely different person for his defection, is not the correct answer, as neither Armstrong, Rosman or you have convincingly made the case for two Oswalds, when it is also possible that others intentionally impersonated him after he defected. hi bill; one question, please, if there were not two singular beings under the name of oswald, why then are there reports re military medical information, on two different men, at times in two different places at the same time, thanks.b
  14. mike is this the same michael colin..??.thanks for thread, interesting, take care..b http://cuban-exile.c...25/doc0323.html there is also some information mentioning june cobb and michael colin in this thread.. http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.php?act=ST&f=126&t=2211

  16. Thanks for your work Gil, there's that white shirt, jacket again.....the man in the photo does resemble him, but imo appears a harsher expression on his face, and a larger man, something not right, by comparison to lho photos.....b
