You would think that the Dallas PD and every other agency would "want" to know everything about anyone Oswald was trying to contact while in their custody. Having Louise Swinney sabotage Oswald's attempt to contact anyone via the phone by disconnecting the call and then lying to Oswald that no one answered that number makes no sense in this way. Wouldn't have Oswald's desperate for incriminating evidence interrogators logically have wanted to let Oswald make contact with someone and then grilled him regards who this person he was trying to contact was and why he was trying to do so? Just another curious aside thought: Oswald's mother Marguerite said in published video interviews that "my son works for the CIA." Of all the crazy things one would expect from a mother of the top one or two criminal suspects in American history to throw out there in public interviews trying to defend her son against the incredible murder charges he was being accused of, this one stops you as about the most desperate and crazy. And if her shocking claim was not true, it could only hurt Lee Oswald and not help him at all in the following way. Look, the lone nut's own mother is looney tunes herself. Anyone raised by this nut case must be disturbed as well ? I don't know how much effort was put into asking Marguerite to provide any more answers as to why she believed her son was working for our own government but we do know that she had corresponded with her son more than anyone else while Lee was in Russia. Was there anything Lee may have written back to her while he was in Russia that gave her the impression he had a secret agenda as she claims? Or, was there anything shared between Lee and Marguerite during the few days he spent with her before catching a transport ship ride to Europe? Did Marguerite's attorney Mark Lane pursue this claim of her son's Intel involvement? This phone call story, Marguerite's claim of her son's intel connection, Lee's own public statement "I am just a patsy" seen and heard by half the nation, etc. etc. ... laughably suspicious in their entirety, if even half true.

True. But still a confessional. So, all 3 documented connected spy/agent players and their incredible "Big Event" involvement stories (with at least some similar details in Lorenz's and Hunt's) are totally dismissed as completely made up tales with no personal gain explanations? Hunt was a top senior level hands on major player in so many of our most important covert foreign and domestic spy operations for decades. He and Sturgis are even working together in the Watergate break in caper. He makes a confession like his "Big Event" one, again with specific hierarchy and operational names and logistical details and his story is ignored and dismissed?

Wonder what happened to that alleged written confession by Sturgis to Cardinal Cooke? Destroyed? Hidden in some deepest secret Vatican bank vault archives? So, both Hunt and Sturgis gave end of life confessions admitting involvement in the "Big Event?" And Marita Lorenz gave statements corroborating their confessions? We have all heard Hunt's confession. On tape and verified. At least we know "for sure" that at least one of the three did make this confession. Always wondered how Hunt's taped "bench warmer" confession was totally ignored by all the major media. I mean the man did say what he said. And it was an Earth Shaking revelation if true.

Like it has been said over and over for the last 5 years, Trump could run over a protester on Park Avenue and his base will not only ignore this ultimate serious act and pretend it means nothing, they would celebrate it like they are Kyle Rittenhouse's gunning down two protesters with his illegally obtained, illegally driven over state line with no license assault weapon. Trump's support base is colluding with the most corrupt, amoral and immoral man ever to step foot into the White House in their blind rage zeal to get their anger frustrations out, heard and embraced along with the implementation of a super aggressive, proactive political action agenda to reverse the political power gains of those who they feel threatened by. A deal with the ***** ? And history always shows what happens when that course is taken. Widespread national honoring and celebrating Kyle Rittenhouse as a brave American hero is truly one of the sickest and most shameful actions I have ever seen occur in this country in my lifetime. Nationwide white frustration, fear and rage is clearly rearing it's ugly head in a fascist violence embracing way. And with the perfect sociopath figure head to incite and promote it all. I'm a JFK truth seeker in the most passionate way. For 58 of my 70 years now after seeing strip joint owner Jack Ruby whack Oswald in the Dallas PD building basement on live TV with 70 to 80 armed security packed into that crowd. Yet, my concern about what is happening to this country under corrupt Trump's authoritarian spell seems even more important in my thoughts right now. We are a country and society that is experiencing a full blown white frustration, fear and anger mob rage. Reason and respect for our constitution, the law and even morality are being left behind in the cloud of dust this Trump incited and emboldened rage filled mob posse horse chase has left behind to go get "the bad guys." My take anyway.

Doug, any thoughts about McCord possibly being in Dallas on 11,22,1963? Also, do you believe your friend E. Howard Hunt was also in Dallas that day? And, do you believe Hunt was telling the truth in his recorded end of life confessional comments that he was "a benchwarmer" in what he called "The Big Event" of JFK's assassination? If Hunt's mind blowing comments in the recording are not true in your opinion, why would he make up such a fantastic tale? One with many specific details including the architectural hierarchy of LBJ, Cord Meyer and active participant list of Frank Sturgis, etc. ? And, if Hunt's end of life JFK explanation confessional is totally bogus, doesn't it's creation and recording expose him as a totally lying, untrustworthy and fraudulent character?

Anyone else here feel the Rip Robertson look-a-like man photographed standing on the corner of Main and Houston just as JFK is driving past is more probably the real Robertson than not? Can anyone here find any dissimilarities of the two facial photos worthy of debate? Every part of the Main And Houston street man's face matches the real Robertson's face so closely it seems illogical to try to argue differently imo. They say everyone has a doppleganger. Robertson's just happened to be standing at the corner of the JFK death trap kill zone just as his murder takes place?

Oh boy. More depressing news. I already have heart problems. Have had for 14 years now. Afib with two ablasion procedures that didn't take. Mild heart attack last February with elevated Troponin levels. Main artery 80% blocked so stent inserted. Over weight by 30 lbs. Am looking to get my booster shot any day now. Already had two Pfizer shots. Better get my affairs in order I guess just in case.

I think some way overestimate the broad interagency connections and sophistication of the SS and every other presidential security agency at that time in the way B. Ness describes above. SS people able to recognize Lansdale, Rip Robertson, Wild Bill Harvey maybe even Phillips and Hunt or so many other different military/agency characters or even Joseph Milteer, Johnny Roselli and someone like McCord? Men who possibly / potentially could have been in Dallas or near Dealey Plaza that day? My guess is ... not at all. Heck, allegedly, little ole Lee Harvey Oswald defeated the SS and every other security agency in taking out their main security charge. Oswald reportedly is literally standing next to his open window with a rifle in his hands more than once according to sidewalk bystanders like Carolyn Walthers, Arnold Rowland, etc. and for several minutes before JFK's arrival? The SS ( and Dallas police ) miss all this and knew nothing about Oswald? Again, it sounds like the SS wasn't near as sophisticated back in 1963 as many assume they should have been. These other nefarious covert spy agency people would not worry about being recognized in their physical presence imo. Except with the CIA? They weren't well known by other agencies at all. That is part of their cloak and dagger cover protocols right? Under the radar, invisibility, false/code names and resumes, disguises? And to add another fun character into the super incriminating Oswald rifle display circus stunt photo mix, isn't that a young intrepid news hound journalist Seth Kantor bent down on the far right side of the photo? Same thin face, eyes and his signature mustache. Hair is darker of course but looking quite Marine cut short as Kantor always had and with a widows peak hair line as Kantor also had? If it is Kantor, the man hustled and got around the JFK event reporting scene ( at Parkland shooting the breeze with Jack Ruby one hour after JFK was shot ) almost as much a Superman/Clark Kent Hugh Ainsworth who supposedly was everywhere at once in that arena. And giving the McCord presence in that photo claim some more thought, It would not be too illogical to consider McCord looking as young in 1963 as the man in the photo. Those grainy, swarthy, deeper facial aging creases and balding Watergate mug shots of McCord we always see of him were taken 11 years later. A man's face can change a lot from younger middle age to older middle age in that period of time.

Denny, damn if those two photos don't look like "a perfect Rip Robertson facial match" ... what does? Identical twin type match. Same exact facial structure with overall shape, cheeks, chin, mouth, large fleshy nose, same exact looking glasses, and the way both men wear their identical thin ties. The real Robertson's ears stick out just enough, that the Dealey Plaza look-a-like's left ear matches in that you can still see a part it, even though the photo shot is not a direct facing head one. It's a slightly right side facing photo. And the DP man's ear also fits perfectly in it's vertical location on his head relative to the real Rip Robertson's ear location. The picture on the left is one taken of a man standing on the sidewalk right at the Main and Houston street entrance to Dealey Plaza just as JFK's limo is driving by.

Only ONE woman in that crowd of reporters? Kudos to her for her courage to jump in there with all those guys. And only ONE guy with a corn ball "bow tie?" Notice too Will " THIS CASE IS CINCHED!" Fritz looking on in the background. The same raised fist threatening Will Fritz who backed off demanding Buell Wesley Frazier sign a statement of guilt on November 22, 1963 when hell cat Frazier warned him ... Vince's response to Blaine and Hill is light compared to their arrogant, condescending "he calls himself an expert" insulting comments they made about him in that nationally broadcast/ huge national audience interview imo. Blaine and Hill couldn't have been more insultingly dismissive. If Vince truly did have some really bad mental, character or even criminal aspects to his personal background history these two would have found every tidbit and shredded him even further. But he didn't and they couldn't. One man ( Vince Palamara ) has had the courage and extensive research effort commitment will to really dig deep ( instead of light surface scraping speculation ) into the super impacting and important SS aspect of the JFK case, including personally contacting the most directly involved JFK security men to get their stories and views no matter how uncomfortable and defensive and even angry it made them in response. Vince has taken their public whipping and slanderous wrath in return quite restrained imo. He doesn't personally attack these men's personal character like they do his. He disputes many of their claims as false based. He calls them on this with solid research contradictive facts. But he doesn't call them derogatory names. If Jesse Ventura ( also one of the fiercest critics of JFK's SS detail and a VP defender and even promoter ) was the main target of these agents reputation impugning campaign instead of VP, Ventura would have attacked them like a pit bull and done so with his often national stage audience. VP is the one researcher who has given us the deep research truth about the inner workings of JFK's closest personal security detail, the actual men that made it up and a detailed history of that security and how it worked prior and up to 11,22,1963. Really important information to better understand the ultimate worst case scenario failure of that security on 11,22,1963 and which demanded such a deep inquiry. And if left only to the official body of the JFK assassination investigation ( The Warren Commission ) or even our national media it was just not going to happen.

Are you kidding? Of course they're welcome, even invited. I never confront or attack other posters no matter how different their views on this thread are. Personal attacks just ruin any debate forum. I state my thoughts, beliefs and views and leave it at that. Am I a Trump fearing and trashing liberal? Of course I am. Easy to see with my thread postings. Yet, I feel Trump supporters have as much right to state their views here and be as respected as can be. I still know that despite our current political belief differences we "all" deeply and sincerely care about the JFK truth and share the same mutual passion in this regards.

With the huge variety channel and subject program format of the cable industry now (versus the 3 main stations only one of 50 years ago ) the TV show production companies know that in this almost laughable wide choice basket there is and always will be a rock solid, built in viewing audience for what some classify as "out there" subject matters. "Ancient Aliens", "Bigfoot", "Project Blue Book", "JFK", conspiracy, even paranormal ghost hunting, you name it. I can't sit through 5 minutes of shows about Louisiana swamp/ alligator hunting or Alaskan Bush people or Oak Island diggers who whoop and holler when they find an old nail from a buried Nordic boat. But the TV game now is to go after those 2% of viewers who will to a totally consistent, predictable and loyal degree. You could throw out any JFK conspiracy production, no matter how tainted by "lone gunman" financial backers, and 500,000 viewers will still tune in - guaranteed. Cable TV now is a wide open truly democratic experience. Anyone here watch reruns of "The Apprentice?" I still keep a few tapes of the most ridiculous old one season bust "reality shows" just for laughs. Lisa Minelli and David Guest. Flavor Fav and Bridgett Nielson. Sarah Palin Moose Momma, etc.

JH, of course it is. This one noticeably different subject thread has been allowed for two years however. It's a separate message one for sure where posters can express themselves ( even vent ) regards the unprecedented divided, stressed and anxious state of our country politically, socially, ideologically, pandemically etc. Even though it is 90% disconnected from the strict focus JFK research and education venue you have to admit that in these almost unbelievable constant heightened division, anger, even violence state times ( topped by the Jan. 6 insurrection ) mixed with our equally unbelievable society shaking struggle with Covid, that even here on this prestigious JFK truth mission board maybe allowing this one single anxiety releasing thread is understandable and imo hasn't hurt the JFK R & E focus integrity of it.
