  1. This "JFK X" fellow also said something about JFK getting into the trunk. And J.D. Tippitt was a body double of JFK. As whacko as this doc was you have to suspect how it made it to Amazon Prime and them accepting it and then offering it to the public for $1.99. Takes money to make any doc. Who funded this thing? And who had enough influence to get Amazon Prime to take it and run it on their national venue? Watching this can't help but give one a creepy twinge feeling that operation Mockingbird type shenanigans may still exist.
  2. Jim, yes. It showed up on our Amazon Prime channel selection. So many new JFKA pieces showing up now. The title of this one sounds legit but within 15 minutes I started to break out in side-splitting laughter. I still can't believe Amazon could offer such a looney piece and charge for it. The character presenting the JFK fake gunshot theory is supposedly a former top special effects person out of the A list film industry. At first I bought into the sham. But soon enough I wondered whether the entire piece was a deliberate comedy piece. If not, the presenter must have consumed a handful of crack spiked psychedelic mushrooms one hour before his appearance. With a straight face he claims that the standard Hollywood special effects device used to simulate gunshot wounds that burst with fake blood was used to simulate JFK's head shot. And that Jackie Kennedy activated the mechanism by pulling a string that came out from under her skirt! I KID YOU NOT! This JFKA film piece is so out-there...I still wonder if in the following weeks the producers will come out and admit that it was all a sick prank. I found an internet site that contained some reviews. The comments were knee slapping hilarious! I am surprised how many JFKA pieces are coming out in the mainstream media for this 60th anniversary. Including this crazy hoot.
  3. On Amazon Prime. I don't know how the following documentary piece was even picked up by Amazon. IT COST $1.99 SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER WATCHING IT. The guy says JFK wasn't shot. It was a special effects gizmo trick and Jackie pulled the string to activate it! I kid you not. JFK X: Solving the Crime of the Century | Prime … WebJFK X: Solving the Crime of the Century As the 60th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy approaches, this film uncovers the final proof of what happened that day in Dallas. 4. Does anyone know anything about Hosty's 4 years of Army military duty from 1942 through 1946? I'm not a researcher of any merit. And Wiki and a few Hosty background history postings on the forum don't go into Hosty's military service duties at all. Was he in combat duty areas? Was he an officer? I know he went to college as soon as he left the military. Received a degree. His father was an executive in a sugar company. Hosty had a couple of jobs before applying with the FBI. One was in sales for a chewing gum company I believe? Watched the Tom Hanks produced film "Parkland" last night. The story line centered around Abraham Zapruder and the entire scene of the JFKA in Dallas during the first week after the assassination including side stories centered on a nurse and two Parkland hospital doctors treating JFK and then Oswald himself when he was brought into Parkland after being whacked by Jack Ruby in the Dallas PD building the morning of 11,24,1963. Also Oswald's brother Robert and some brief scenes of Marina Oswald and Oswald's mother Marguerite, who was depicted as an absolute nutcase. James Hosty is also a main but secondary character in the film. There is a big scene of Hosty being tyrannically berated by his boss chief agent Gordon Shanklin in their offices. A furious Shanklin screams at Hosty and even shoves him, raging about Hosty's incompetence in handling the Oswald file. Later, Shanklin call's Hosty into his office to tell Hosty to get rid of the Oswald file. Hosty is reticent and sheepishly mentions that this action would be destroying evidence. Shanklin tells him to do this regardless. Then we see Hosty agonizing over his order in a bathroom. He eventually carries it out by burning the file and flushing it down a toilet.
  5. You hardly ever hear mention of professionally respected journalist Seth Kantor's meeting Jack Ruby in Parkland hospital while JFK was being attended to there.
  6. According to revered psychic sources Tyler Henry, John Edward, Theresa Caputo, James Van Praagh and others...the deceased persons they communicate with all know they are dead.
  7. MC, I must respectfully disagree with your first proposition "when you're dead, you don't know your dead." Since most of us forum members haven't yet died ... how would we know? Now, regards your second proposition "It's the same way when you are stupid." That is a profound truism. And it reminds me of something similar my wife frequently imparts to me ..."stupid is as stupid does."
  8. Just watched most of the first episode. Yes, colorization really enhanced video footage and I enjoyed footage of JFK and Jackie on their boat up in Cape Cod. I'm always struck by the incredible adoration reaction shown to both JFK and especially Jackie Kennedy. Crowds literally swooning when they got to see them up close and actually shake their hands. The crowd reaction to Jackie when she came in late to the San Antonio affair was so charged with electric excitement it was amazing. The crowd erupted into cheers and standing and applause. They were mesmerized. Kind of gave you goose bumps. Like I have stated in earlier postings, by 1963 JFK and Jackie had transcended into a worldwide phenomena of unprecedented adoration and fascination celebrity status way, way beyond any married couple before and since. So beyond movie stars. "Billions" of people all over the world were aware of their images and were smitten with their youthful vigor and physical beauty attractiveness. Didn't Marina Oswald herself keep a Time magazine cover picture of JFK around? Poor LBJ. He had to endure watching this almost surreal adoration phenomena as a "who cares" background figure nobody too often in his three years as VP. It must have driven him crazy with jealousy imo. We never saw any future American president and first lady ever come close to what the JFK and Jackie fame, celebrity and adoration phenomena exhibited. Other than viewing nicely color enhanced footage and refeeling that JFK/Jackie adoration electricity the first episode didn't keep my interest. Wonder how so many media productions that don't say anything more than the WC line always get the huge financial infusion needed to make the national TV airwaves. Landis had so little to say I wonder why he was given interview time. Buell Wesley Frazier was his ole plain speaking self. I was struck by his aged look.
  9. Pretty compelling facts that indicate Lane's socialist leanings. I must ask however, did the commies also influence, use and promote 50 other JFKA assassination conspiracy researchers and best-selling book writers who all proposed much of the same conclusions Lane did? Did the commies instruct Oswald to make a public spectacle in broad daylight, in downtown New Orleans showing him passing out pro-Castro flyers? How about Oswald going to Mexico City and the Russian Embassy and be so openly recorded, photographed and followed which shouted some connection between Oswald and them? Wonder what they thought of the BYPs of Oswald holding his rifle and wearing his side arm while holding commie newspapers so prominently displayed you could read their names? Everything being massively broadcast to the American public about Oswald and his background was hugely slanted to present him as a commie. Oswald himself presented himself as a Marxist. And as Oswald's street brawl opponent Carlos Bringuier angrily shouted to Oswald in their radio debate..."what's the difference!" My point is, if the commies were using Lane to try to convince the American public that it was our own people including the far-right wing wealthy who did JFK, to cover up the fact that they may have had a controlling hand in Oswald's actions...Oswald himself couldn't have done more to promote that proposition. It doesn't make sense that the commies would use an assassin who was implicating them over and over as his inspiration in his actions, words and pictures for months and even years leading up to November 22nd, 1963.
  10. The massive power and effort of the deep state to undermine Jim Garrison and his investigation and it's subsequent trial, which included national media collusion and Garrison himself said couldn't be overcome in the end, would be kids play compared to what they would have done with a living ( or Jack Ruby shooting injured but surviving ) Lee Harvey Oswald trial. An adequately financed and presented Lee Oswald defense trial could possibly have exposed so much corruption and abuse of power in our institutional power structure on every level of government it might have shaken our entire society to it's total trust losing core. I must read this book. There has been a trial for Lee Harvey Oswald. It's been taking place for 60 years now. The courtroom has been the never-ending righteous truth driven conglomeration of books, films, articles, conferences, radio and TV interviews, public discussion internet sites such as this one, etc. etc. The final verdict of guilt and guilty parties is in imo.
  11. RFK Jr. is the most outspoken second generation Kennedy regards not just his father's and JFK's assassinations, but their being conspiracy events. And being domestically born as well. I don't recall reading or hearing about any 2nd generation Kennedy ever publicly engaging in this subject at all. RFK Jr. has been just ripped by several of his family members for this reason and now, others. I have always wondered why the 2nd generation Kennedy clan could be so polar opposite in this area of their patriarchal history. Has RFK Jr. written about this huge family chasm?
  12. Just checked into this thread for the first time 20 minutes ago. Anything to do with RFK Jr. and his efforts to run for president has been a conundrum for me. I do think allowing discussion of RFK Jr. on the thread is very valid when the discussion revolves around RFK Jr's views on the JFKA and RFKA. He grew up physically right there in their presence. When RFK is your father and JFK a close relationship uncle...of course you would have some uniquely interesting insights regards their lives and deaths that are relevantly worthy in the context of our forum's main focus and charter. Especially when RFK Jr. believes both deaths involved conspiracies. Yet, as of now, I can't get a comfortably informed handle on RFK's true over-all political beliefs and agenda motivations in his aggressive effort to make a serious run for President. I have read some very general background information regards RFK's life and political, social, business and even personal interests and involvements. In several areas I can't figure the guy out. I do think if he garners enough poll numbers and becomes a true third-party candidate it will only hurt the Democrats. There are still enough liberal democrat baby boomer generation voters who were enamored by JFK and RFK in the 60's and who may still be inclined to vote again for a "Kennedy." However, voters back then who didn't like Kennedy will still not vote for one. And no true Trump voter in today's world is going to cross over to vote for a half/democrat at all imo. These article writers and TV and radio right wing commentators proposing that a RFK Jr. candidacy will hurt Trump are initiating a psychological twist trick ( psyop ) to fool naive democrats and independents who don't like or even hate Trump into falling for that false reality. Oh wow, if I vote for RFK Jr. it will hurt Trump! No, it's the opposite. Trump world would love for RFK Jr. to run. For the reason I state. Ralph Nader's 2 million vote pull from the Democrats in 2,000 was damaging in that his releasing those two million votes and encouraging his voters to instead vote for the democrats may have helped Al Gore in 2 to 3 states electorally. George Bush senior lost the 1992 election to Clinton for one main reason ... Ross Perot. Perot garnered 19% of the vote! And the fact is, Perot got 22% of the white vote. 16% of the Hispanic vote and only "6%" of the black vote in 1992. Perot's main vote base were Bush voters...not democratic party voters. RFK Jr. could get close to Perot's vote support. Younger voters are so turned off to the current two-party system. They'd vote for Brittany Spears if she was the alternative to the two old geezers leading the polls right now. RFK Jr. would garner a significant percentage of that age group imo. Also, 70 year old RFK Jr. is the virile "young'un" in such a scenario. Laughable as that reality is. RFK would open the files? I've said many times over the years that I believe there are no files that will ever reveal anything that would counter the Warren Commission findings. Or implicate any of our own intelligence agencies in any nefarious way to the JFK and RFK assassinations. They've all been destroyed I believe.
  13. Oswald was involved with the N.O. FBI in some capacity. And Banister as well.
  14. Take the newspaper accounts with a grain of salt? I'd give their accounts more credibility than the Warren Commission any day. Maybe I misread, but wasn't at least one of the Marina and Marie Tippit help accounts initiated and run by the Dallas Morning News? Also, shame on Robert Oswald. He demands some of this Marina Oswald donation monies go to him? Why? Marina was Oswald's widow and had to care for his children. She deserved every penny of those donated funds.
  15. If it's true and documented that Oswald did indeed ask the N.O. police to have an F.B.I. agent visit him in the jail there...what has been the generally accepted research community reason he did so? That action on Oswald's part begs incredibly suspicious questions. What percentage of arrested persons in America ever make that kind of specific request? "Maybe" one in a million? James Hosty. The man who destroyed his own agency's Lee Harvey Oswald file ( or even part of the file ) by flushing it down a toilet after his boss AIC James Gordon Shanklin ordered him to "get rid of it" the day after Oswald was taken out by Jack Ruby right inside the Dallas PD building. Hosty keeps this mind-blowing evidence destruction fact from the Warren Commission throughout his entire testimony. Testimony prefaced by an oath Hosty took that he swore to... "Tell the truth, the WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, so help me God." Hosty willingly and knowingly violated that sacred oath to the Commission, the American people who entrusted the commission to find the truth and even to God himself! And Hosty was a practicing Catholic! The "whole truth" would have included his telling the Commission about his Oswald file evidence destruction and his boss ordering him to do so. That was a truth that had bomb shell ramifications and importance. Hosty put his employer's self-interests and protection loyalty "first" above his "whole truth" sworn WC testimony oath and the American people who expected such, especially from a member of our own highest level government crime investigating agency who also take a "so help me God" oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States in their official duties. When Hosty years later finally revealed his Oswald file evidence destruction withholding truth in his Warren Commission testimony he did so with a chuckle! He smugly smiled as if his monumentally important Oswald evidence destruction was no big deal! No more worthy of sharing with the Warren Commission than a good ole boys club insider joke! Hosty put his employer and even his own job and pension security first above the American people and their inviolate trust, desire and need for the full truth regarding the JFKA.
  16. Fascinating essay. Covers so many unanswered questions with well researched facts and well reasoned thoughts and contemplation. Typically well documented. Best review of Landis' book. May I quote a section? I'll erase this if there is any problem. Did the trauma overwhelm him for six decades? The reason for why his total silence is not believable (or "understandable") is because at the time Landis did what he said he did with that bullet, >>> he had absolutely no knowledge or information about any of the details concerning the assassination.<<< >>> He had no idea who Oswald was at that time, and he had no idea if a conspiracy might be involved. He knew nothing at that point.<<< >>>And yet he tells NOBODY about finding and moving an important piece of evidence like a bullet?! <<< >>> Such dead silence by a member of the U.S. Secret Service (or anyone in law enforcement) in such a situation is completely beyond belief, not to mention totally irresponsible on Landis' part. <<< Right on Vince! And, in my opinion, even if it had been days or weeks or months later that he had somehow come across a piece of new evidence connected with JFK's death, it still would not be at all "perfectly understandable" that he would just keep completely silent about encountering such a piece of potentially vital evidence in the case of a murdered President. Vince, I think it is possible Landis was overwhelmed by it all. Only 26 years old. He had not seen combat or even death from what I have read. He mentioned he was afraid to look at JFK exploded head out of a fear it would make him sick. Still, you hit on such a coherent point. Landis didn't know anything about anything during those first minutes of the shooting and the following Parkland chaos. As shook up as he may have been, imo someone of his young duty experience would just act on a "following orders" instincts and not question what was right or wrong in his actions that day. From his book story he feared his actions may have in some way made him vulnerable to wrong doing questioning? So he pockets the bullet he finds, surreptitiously plants it on a stretcher and tells no one of his actions for years afterwards? He explained motives for not telling anyone about finding and planting the bullet don't make sense. Like he feared his own agency more than anyone else?
  17. Anyone here dispute the dollar amounts donated to Marina Oswald and Marie Tippit as reported by the Dallas Morning News in late 1963 and shown in my earlier post? Around $250,000 each back in 1963? Equivalent to 1.8 million each in today's dollar value? I am not a well researched student regards the donation program that was initiated and carried out to help Marina O. And Marie Tippit. But if the DMN figures are true...both Marina and Marie T. could validly be described as being made relatively rich through these donations. Relative to the average working-class wage earning Texan back in those days. I am open to these high dollar donation amounts being much lower. Just would like to see some credible evidence proving smaller amounts. And is there any credibility to the reported claim by Hugh Aynesworth that he bedded Marina? Or was that just a perverse rumor?
  18. You are absolutely right Bill B. The truer designation would be "co-written. Marina probably just talked about her life and her life with Lee. With Pricilla McMillan recording these recollections and then putting them in a structured written narrative.
  19. $ 240,000 dollars!!! Back in 1963 you could have purchased 25 homes with that huge chunk of cash! I think book and movie rights brought Marina Oswald even more. Her book, ghost written by Pricilla Johnson McMillan was a top selling one.
  20. Good Day Jim.... Writer A.C. GREENE, the editor of the "Dallas Times Herald" newspapers "People's Forum" column in 1963 and 1964, has stated for the record that the DMN received $241,000 from readers in donations for MARINA OSWALD. $243,000 in donations was received for MARIE TIPPIT. GREENE stated he gave their donations to each of them. 44 years later, in 2007 dollars, according to this inflation calculator.... http://www.westegg.com/inflation/ ....each of those amounts for MARIE and MARINA would be over $1,615,000 in 2007 dollars. (kinda' makes you think about actually planning, investing smartly, and saving/growing some retirement ca$h, ayyyye?!! If I remember correctly, the DPD also received donations of a near equal amount. (probably mostly for TIPPIT's wife) For MARIE TIPPIT, another $25,000 (around $167,000 in 2007 dollars) was given to her by ABRAHAM ZAPRUDER. Best Regards in Research, Don Don Roberdeau
  21. So easy to see the contradictions above. Common sense tells you there was something going on between Bannister and Oswald. Oswald was confronted by Attorney Dean Andrews one day while he was passing out "Free Cuba" flyers downtown in NO. Oswald owed Andrews money for past legal work and was shining on Andrews by not paying him. When Andrews asked Oswald what the heck he was doing, Oswald responded by saying "it's a job." It would be a fair guess to say that Bannister was the one paying Oswald to play the Pro Castro decoy to see if he could draw out Castro sympathizers? And/or set Oswald up for more involved activity down the line? Banister dies naked and under suspicious circumstances just like David Ferrie. And who the heck got Banister's most important files? Who else but someone with the power to get a search and removal warrant from the local judge pool.
  22. Soo much missing here. Who the heck are these two people?
  23. I would assume Washington Post Editor and longtime friend of JFK Ben Bradlee's wife Tony ( Mary Meyers sister ) would know if JFK and Mary were intimate. Same with Bradlee himself. They knew about Mary's RED book and ran to her garage/studio to find it the day Meyer was murdered. The spectral CIA man James Angleton beat em to it. I would think the only thing ( the main thing ) that could motivate both parties to so quickly make a frantic trespass dash to MM's place would be to see if Mary Meyer had mentioned JFK in that red book of hers. What other important secret could inspire such an immediate and stealthy search? I doubt if there were any others they were expecting to find. Did Bradlee ever mention or even hint in his memoirs of such a relationship between Mary Meyer and JFK?
  24. Don't forget E. Howard Hunt's end of life confessional where he also claimed that JFK took Cord Meyer's ex-wife as a lover. Inferring that Meyer had a deep resentment toward JFK personally. Mimi Alford herself claimed JFK had sex with her and even encouraged her to service his aide/friend Dave Powers while he watched.
