Announced on a late Friday...that when White Houses release news they want buried.

(CNN)The White House announced late Friday that it would further postpone the release of more documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, pointing to the "significant impact" of the Covid-19 pandemic.

President Joe Biden issued a memo that said the national archivist recommended he "'direct two public releases of the information that has ultimately 'been determined to be appropriate for release to the public.'" The first will be an "interim release" later this year, with a second, "more comprehensive release in late 2022," the memo said.
The memo said that the Covid-19 pandemic has slowed down the process of reviewing whether redactions continue to meet the "statutory standard."

Kennedy's assassination prompted a whirlwind of questions from the public and researchers, plenty of conspiracy theories and reflexive secrecy from the government.
Over the years, millions of documents have become public, offering researchers an opportunity to pore over not only records related to the Kennedy assassination, but also a variety of other topics, from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and slaying to pivotal moments in the Cold War.
In 2018, former President Donald Trump extended the deadline for the public release of the assassination files to 2021, citing "identifiable harm to national security, law enforcement, or foreign affairs." Trump's move came on the deadline he previously imposed in 2017 for the full release of the files -- barring national security and privacy concerns -- after the 25-year-in-the-making deadline imposed by the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act, signed by President George Bush, came to pass.

“Temporary continued postponement is necessary to protect against identifiable harm to the military defense, intelligence operations, law enforcement, or the conduct of foreign relations that is of such gravity that it outweighs the public interest in immediate disclosure,” Biden wrote.

Conspiracy related or not, there must be something really terrible in those final docs.

Blaming Covid-19 is a joke of course. The USG has had nearly 60 years to review these docs.

Stonewalling for the CIA on JFK is apparently the only thing that presidents of both political parties can agree upon.

Frickin’ incredible.

I sorted out my frustration by listening Murder Most Foul by the great Maestro. There is still a chance that Biden's administration will release complete and unredacted information that has been kept secret for almost six decades. Until then, we need to show faith in what we do for truth to come forward. Some people can contribute a lot, some only a little, but we all can continue wanting to know the truth.

I would not expect any smoking gun in the still withheld documents regarding the assassination itself. That type of evidence never got to any official documents. However, it is likely that the undisclosed documents would prove that Lee Oswald was guided by the intelligence agencies for years, including his stay in the USSR and his New Orleans and Mexico missions. Once the public learns that Lee Oswald was an asset, informant, undercover agent or similar, nobody would believe in his guilt, and more investigation would be requested. Some witnesses working with the agencies may still come forward, some agents may have left letters with their attorneys. The legitimacy of subsequent presidents would be questioned, such as Johnson's, Nixon's, Ford's and Bush's. I am afraid it may be too hard even for Biden to allow such questioning.

Nobody lies like The NY Times on JFK, redefining the word ‘exhaustive’ for all time:

“Despite an exhaustive, yearlong inquiry into the murder led by Chief Justice Earl Warren that concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, surveys over the years have consistently found that most Americans believe others were involved.”

Egads. "Exhaustive."

So, the HSCA that concluded there was likely a conspiracy...was just a flim-flam fly-by-night operation?

And when you watch the Zapruder film....do not believe your eyes.

Yeah, guess the ‘newspaper of record’ never heard of the HSCA or McKnight’s well-researched book ‘Breach of Trust.’

The Gray Lady invested in the official story and never let go. Whatta crock.

And yeah Connally in Z film, him and his wife’s testimony, his shirt, eyewitness accounts of the last two shots, all prove a second gunman was involved beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Ny TImes actually printed the entire Warren Report when it came out as a supplement on September 28, 1964.

This was about 24 hours after it was made available to the public.

Is it possible to read and cross check 900 pages that fast?  Especially since the 26 volumes were not published until 2 months later?

We deal with this in the film.

Two nephews of John F. Kennedy are calling on the Biden administration to release the final trove of secret documents on the 1963 assassination of the former president. The records were scheduled to be made public Tuesday, but the White House announced late Friday night that it would delay their publication until at least Dec. 15 — and perhaps longer if President Joe Biden determines it’s in the nation’s best interest to keep them confidential.

“It’s an outrage. It’s an outrage against American democracy. We’re not supposed to have secret governments within the government,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told POLITICO. “How the hell is it 58 years later, and what in the world could justify not releasing these documents?”  His cousin, former Rhode Island Rep. Patrick Kennedy, said the records should be released not because of his family, but because American citizens have a right to know about “something that left such a scar in this nation’s soul that lost not only a president but a promise of a brighter future.”

“I think for the good of the country, everything has to be put out there so there’s greater understanding of our history,” Patrick Kennedy said.
