From an emai I received to

Here’s an infuriating idea: If Lauren Boebert wins again in 2024, she will become eligible for a lifetime congressional pension – paid for by you, the taxpayer – while having accomplished nothing for the people of Colorado's third congressional district other than her sideshow antics.

In 2022, her Democratic opponent came just 546 votes shy of winning – just over one vote per precinct. It was the closest race in the entire country.

The first poll of the 2024 rematch between this same opponent and Boebert shows a tied race, and her Super PACs and extreme Washington allies are already on the attack.

Yes, and Boebert's rural, western Colorado district is heavily Republican.

It was extremely disappointing to see her eke out that last electoral victory.

Colorado has elected some flamers to Congress over the years, but Boebert takes the proverbial cow pancake.

The East Coast is getting a tragic whiff of what we've been dealing with out here in the Rocky Mountain West during the last few summers-- unprecedented forest fire smoke.

Hopefully, this will raise public awareness back East about catastrophic climate change.

Prosecutors ready to ask for Trump indictment on obstruction and Espionage Act charges

The Independent has learned that prosecutors are prepared to ask grand jurors to vote on charges as early as Thursday

“The Independent has learned that prosecutors are ready to ask grand jurors to approve an indictment against Mr Trump for violating a portion of the US criminal code known as Section 793, which prohibits “gathering, transmitting or losing” any “information respecting the national defence”.

“The use of Section 793, which does not make reference to classified information, is understood to be a strategic decision by prosecutors that has been made to short-circuit Mr Trump’s ability to claim that he used his authority as president to declassify documents he removed from the White House and kept at his Palm Beach, Florida property long after his term expired on 20 January 2021.”

“It is understood that prosecutors intend to ask grand jurors to vote on the indictment on Thursday, but that vote could be delayed as much as a week until the next meeting of the grand jury to allow for a complete presentation of evidence, or to allow investigators to gather more evidence for presentation of necessary.”

“Mr Meadows has already given evidence before the grand jury and is said to be cooperating with the investigation into his former boss. It is understood that the former North Carolina congressman will plead guilty to several federal charges as part of a deal for which he has already received limited immunity in exchange for his testimony.”

Justices Thomas and Alito Delay Release of Financial Disclosures

The justices asked for extensions to file annual forms that detail gifts, travel and real estate holdings.

[This is a headline in today's New York Times. These two know lots of people are on to them and their "ethics."]

Yes, he got it Monday:

Trump is a moron and will always leak or implicate himself when given the opportunity to run his piehole.

Still sounds fishy to me.  You pay a company $120,000 three weeks before it exists.  The same day seven of your top "deputies" notify HR they have contacted the FBI over the boss's bribery, abuse of office and improper influence?
