  1. Some thoughts on the state of America. California anyway. In most of our most populated states and especially urban areas we are "too" diverse. Diverse culturally, ethnically, economically, socially, politically, linguistically, religiously, historically and on and on and on. In too many important ways we've absolutely lost our commonality, imo. I can only speak specifically however about California as I live here. I have lived here for 71 years. Illegal immigration is so massive here it has totally changed everything about California in the last 40 years. Maybe 1/3rd (or more?) the state being 1st and second generation of this out-of-control migration flood? With the Hispanic ethnic population being the clear majority here now. Millions of these new immigrants speak Spanish as their main language. Anyone living in California now knows that half the state communicates in Spanish before English. Not speaking Spanish is actually a communication handicap if you travel pretty much anywhere in the state outside of the higher income and very rural areas. Hundreds of entire school systems are 90+ percent filled with 1st and second generation Hispanic children, mostly of illegal immigrant parentage. Thousands of schools. Millions of kids. The same in most all other sections of our communities. Jobs, Jails, hospital patients you name it. Spanish is "not" a second language in half the state. English is. But it isn't just the massive illegal Latino immigration flood that has so noticeably changed California's culture. This state has always been a magnet for immigration ( illegal and legal ) for many other mostly poor people from different cultures. For decades. California has millions of 1st, second and now 3rd generation Asian citizens. Chinese, Vietnamese, Pilipino, Indian, Korean, etc. etc. California's African American population has shrunken in the last 30 to 40 years. Surely because of the cost of living here which is now mind boggling and even criminally gouging high. And California is also economically way too diverse. A wealthy minority owns the majority of homes, properties, businesses and land. The working, rent crushing class is the clear majority. If you are a renter in California, you are typically a stressed out month-to-month living slave. Everything cost "way more" in California than most other parts of the country. Besides rent...gas, utilities, taxes, food, health care ...almost everything. Crazy high. Gas is well over $5 a gallon and has been for a long time with no price let up in sight. California is for sure the leading economic stress state in the union. Also, there is no more religious affiliation commonality here anymore. The different immigrant culture and religious adherences are nothing like the old ones that dominated Californian society up until the 70's. In the past the social term "diversity" has usually connotated a liberal, American welcome-to-all mind set. But there is clearly an overkill point to this social reality. California is "too" diverse now. In some ways out of control. There is a social and cultural value confusion going on here. The one common bond however is how financially stressed the majority of non-home owning citizens are. Your neighbor may be Hispanic, Pilipino, Korean, Indian, Somoan, Chinese, Vietnamese, gender different, religiously different, politically different...but if you are living on the rent edge every month with them...you at least have "something" in common. Poverty breeds fellowship in some ways eh? Getting back to almost unbelievable out of control illegal immigration, you can't take in 25 people ( almost all dirt poor ) into a house built for 4 or 5 without the house falling apart due to the simple over-demand use. Plumbing, structural, parking, utility usage, cost of running and maintaining, loss of privacy, etc. The house being a metaphor for the state of California. It's infrastructure, it's social welfare programs system and budgets, it's policing and jails, hospitals, schools, all being stressed to breaking points with just way too many people flooding in and putting demands on the entire structure. I really feel for the millions of children of illegals, who are suddenly thrown into housing situations like this and a world where they are financially way on the other side of the tracks versus other kids. Where most of them come from, everyone is poor. You don't feel bad being poor if everyone you know and live among is poor too. But thrust into a world of not having the better things in life that they see all around them, certainly must breed resentment anger? Maybe even susceptibility to identifying with criminal gangs more than regular society? Their illegal parents do not rise to middle class in their time usually. It takes being a second generation lift to that level if at all. And top all this out of control legal and illegal immigration over population and ever growing economic diversity stress chaos with half a million homeless people camping in almost every major city and you have ...well... a societal mess unlike anything America has ever seen. Oh, and throw in a super serious long term and ever growing water shortage crisis for all of Southern California and it's 25 million residents. And one major added natural disaster stress like a massive earthquake devastating LA or the Bay Area...could trigger a societal breakdown unlike anything we could imagine. A huge and long term federal military intervention type event. Sorry for the gloom and doom take on all this. But California is just in this reality space right now. Who knows what our future here holds.
  2. Article published today on CNN news site. Officer Fanone is a very good writer imo. In his article he very coherently captures the important truths about McCarthy, Carlson and the January 6th coup attempt. Opinion: Tucker Carlson's spin on January 6 is a lie. I was there https://edition.cnn.com/2023/03/08/opinions/tucker...
  3. Doesn't the guy realize he's become a national joke? And Fox News has finally been exposed as a completely fraudulent corporation. Reporting false news stories as real ones! For YEARS! Even when they KNEW they were false! Not a news organization. A right wing propaganda one. Fox News epitomized Trump's own "FAKE NEWS" label to a "T."
  4. Again, hilarious! The Tucker Carlson hour has turned into a whacky reality show. A guy who says one thing to his Trump's followers on his TV show. Then shares that he thinks Trump is a whack job to his insider friends. Even his viewers must be saying: "what in the sam hell ... ???" "Is this guy lyin' to us?" What's he think we is...suckers?"
  5. All that weekend in countless interviews we saw and heard DPD chief Jesse Curry telling the nation and world how Oswald's security and well being was of paramount importance and was being given the highest security consideration in DPD history. Curry stated he allowed Oswald to be walked by and through the press crush circus inside his building so the world could see Oswald was not being mistreated by his men in any way. When asked by members of the press if he (Curry) was concerned about Oswald's physical safety in light of how threatened Oswald was Curry said "no!" that the highest security 'in his department's history were being taken to ensure Oswald's safety in his department's custody. Ruby's access into the DPD basement garage was so easy according to Ruby himself. He simply walked up close to the garage exit ramp entrance area and when two guards there got distracted, he sauntered right down the ramp and within a minute or two was able to squeeze himself up to the front of the press crowd line and with a quick three step leap, get within inches of wide-open Oswald's gut to ... BOOM! ... avenge Jackie Kennedy, prove Jews had guts, and do what he thought the DPD wanted to do but couldn't do themselves? And no one got fired (or even disciplined?) for the greatest and most important major city police department security failure in American history? Only in Dallas, Texas in 1963. LBJ land. Or what JFK referred to as "nut country" to his wife a day earlier in their Fort Worth hotel room. Sorry. As the airplane seatmate Russell Long character ( in real life Hale Boggs ) tells the Jim Garrison character in Oliver Stone's 1991 film "JFK"..."that dog don't hunt."
  6. Who the heck is the person Gleason is talking to?
  7. Oswald seemed so naive about how much his physical safety was threatened. The Dallas police assigned to protect him wanted him dead. He didn't know this? He didn't know that he was one of the most threatened persons in American history? He seemed calmly unworried from what I could see watching him walked to the transfer car. I watched it all live on national TV.
  8. My guess is that Jack Ruby knew very little about the Wallace trial if at all. I believe Ruby knew he was going to be able to get to Oswald. With help from a few DPD friends. Look, probably most all members of the DPD wanted Oswald dead. For his killing of one of their own. DPD officer and Oswald death walk escort Jim Leavelle shared this sentiment many times in countless interviews in his later life. He had no compunction stating he was much more upset and concerned about Oswald killing one of his own than Oswald killing Kennedy. This deeper hatred of Oswald for killing Tippit reasonably suggest they ( members of the DPD ) didn't want Oswald to be provided a trial and maybe even get less than the death penalty "if" he was found guilty. How to exact their vengeful justice on the Dallas PD cop killer Oswald with certainty? Get him before any trial. If all the security around you wants you dead...brother, you're in trouble. People forget Ruby being ordered by the big mob boys to do something quite extraordinary in his trips to Cuba. Orders you do not say no to. This also showed that Ruby did indeed have connections to the highest rungs of Mob. Not as an equal at all, but as someone tasked to do important duties when needed. It would be no surprise to learn of other larger Mob interest activities Ruby may have been involved in from time to time. Running guns? Running drugs? Running prostitutes? Bag man when needed? Any time Ruby went to New Orleans you can be sure it was not without the knowledge and permission of Carlos Marcello's organization. Seth Kantor in his book "Who Was Jack Ruby" proved that Ruby did have contact with Marcello's network from time to time. And Campisi and Civello were totally connected to, if not under the authority of Marcello. Ruby acting on mob orders to do Oswald is not a far-fetched theory when one sees documentation that Ruby had done some heavy jobs ( even occasionally ) for them in the past.
  9. HILARIOUS! Absolutely HIP HIP HOORAY HILARIOUS! Thanks for the great morning laugh lift WN!
  10. Watching the above video clip for more than 5 seconds straight is afflicting me with a cross-eyed, slack jawed brain sensory disfunction similar to the effect of a strobe light. However, seriously I see it's value. That damn Stemmons Freeway sign. If only it wasn't there blocking more visual proof of shots coming in from different angles. Even without proof of film alteration, I have always felt it was still possible to see the physical reactions of JFK and JC being shot separately. Almost simultaneously, but still separately. Incredible work effort in providing the above film breakdowns.
  11. After 59 years of general interest, and 7 or 8 years of more specific interest and study ( light but at least more than the average person ) of the JFKA, mostly generated through this forum, I have concluded one finding with certainty: Armed Jack Ruby had inside help in getting into the DPD parking garage and being able to get within inches of Oswald to blow his guts out. And I don't think Oswald being ridiculously wide open from the front in that perp walk just feet away from the press crush and Jack Ruby was simple negligence. If I had to list one aspect of the JFKA story as the strongest indicator of a conspiracy, it would be Oswald's murder right inside the Dallas Police Department's own building under circumstances so impossibly improbable they defy all logical explanations other than Ruby getting inside help in doing this deed. The absolute "worst" possible scenario in destroying any chance for the American people to know the truth about the JFK assassination was the quick elimination of the one person/suspect that could provide it. Ruby killing Oswald and the deliberate lack of any serious federal government ( and MSM as well ) investigation of Ruby's access to do it, was one of the greatest injustices ever perpetrated upon America. I could cite another 100 JFKA related side stories that bolster my final conclusion of a conspiracy in the JFKA. The Sylvia Odio Oswald story and dozens more just add even more heavy weight cement to my personal JFKA conspiracy belief foundation. But Oswald's murder right inside the DPD building while he was supposedly under the tightest suspect security measures ever initiated in the DPD history trumps them all in my final conspiracy conclusion take.
  12. I have never seen this until now. I'm speechless. How? How could I not have ever seen this?
  13. Ruby told Karen "Little Lynn" Carlin he had to do some business in downtown Dallas that Sunday morning anyway, so he would take care of sending her $25 via Western Union when he did so. What was the other business he had to do downtown that quiet Sunday morning? He never said anything about such again? Karen "Little Lynn" Carlin's WC testimony: Mr. Hubert: Well, the fact of the matter is, the phone records show--I don't have them before me, but the phone records show it was about that time. Could you just tell us the gist of the conversation with Jack on that occasion. Mrs. CARLIN: Well, Jack answered the telephone. And I told him who it was, and he said, "Yes, well," and I said, "I have called, Jack, to try to get some money, because the rent is due and I need some money for groceries, and you told me to call."And he said, "How much will you need?" And I said--I'll ask my husband, and then I said about "$25."Mr. Hubert. Your husband was in the room with you?Mrs. CARLIN. Yes. He was in the part of the front part of the house. And he said, "Well, I have to go downtown anyway, so I will send it to you by Western Union." And he asked me what name to send it in, and I told him, "Karen Bennett."
  14. If Ruby was the caller to the DPD, SHERIFF AND FBI just hours before the transfer of Oswald, where he was giving them a heavy warning tip ( with insider info ) about Oswald's safety, obviously he was trying to get them to change their transfer plans. Or perhaps tighten up Oswald's security so he couldn't penetrate it? Either way, it sounds as if he was trying to get out of the job. My guess is that someone who Ruby knew really could and would whack him or his family had that much of a fear hold on him. Marcello? The entire cabal of highest Mafia godfathers? It was Oswald or Ruby and maybe even Ruby's cherished sister Eva? If there was anyone Ruby truly feared it was the much higher ups in the mob. When they said to Ruby, fly to Cuba and give a message to Santos Trafficante being held in a Castro jail there...he went.
  15. The photo does indeed show the ticket booth setting slightly back from the sidewalk. However not as far back inward as the drawing above shows...imo anyways.
  16. Brewer stated under oath that while watching the Oswald/police fight in the theater and while cops were hitting Oswald he heard them ( or one of them ) yell at Oswald ..."kill the president will you..." Like everyone reading Brewer's account of this cop yell quote directed at Oswald you wonder about the time frame of when any of these cops in the theater became aware of any connection being made linking Oswald directly to the JFK killing, above and beyond the J. D. Tippit killing? Wasn't the theater incident just 45 minutes after the JFK event in Dealy Plaza? In just that short period of time one or more of the Dallas policemen rushing into the theater were already informed enough to consider Oswald as JFK's killer?
  17. Is the photo shown earlier on this thread photo-shopped? The one with the Texas Theater Marquee displaying the film "War Is Hell" with Van Heflin? The very film showing at the theater when Oswald was arrested there? Because if it isn't, isn't this photographic proof that the ticket booth was indeed out from the inner doors all the way out to the sidewalk?
  18. Has LP mentioned anything about why he has deleted every entry he has posted here since Dec.12, 2022?
  19. Did Jackie Kennedy state in her WC testimony that John Connally "squealed like a pig." ?
  20. Did Jackie Kennedy actually say to the Warren Commission that " John Connally squealed like a pig?" What I noticed was a pattern of asking questions of many witnesses that seemed almost a purposeful diversion from more important ones in the context of exposing incriminating evidence that in any way suggested the possibility of a conspiracy. Also, the complete dismissing of reputable news journalist Seth Kantor's Warren Commission testimony about Jack Ruby confronting Kantor and engaging him in conversation while they both were at Parkland Hospital during JFK's treatment there on 11,22,1963. They actually stated in their final report that Kantor must have misremembered the incident, possibly due to something like hysteria exhaustion ( my words ) and therefore, they accepted Jack Ruby's meandering, disjointed testimony that he was never at Parkland that afternoon. If Jack Ruby was at Parkland that afternoon as Kantor testified, that fact would have destroyed Ruby's testimony credibility regards his true actions that day.
  21. The jury recommended the suspended sentence? I thought the jury decided on a long prison sentence? I thought it was "the Judge" who gave Wallace a suspended sentence.
  22. Dallas PD Officer R.C. Nelson. Patrol beat partner of J.D. Tippit. Officer Nelson was next to Dealey Plaza when JFK was hit. Was in the Texas Theater when Oswald was arrested there. Was guarding the DPD basement exit ramp during Oswald's transfer through there. Ran down and helped wrestle Jack Ruby to the ground seconds after Ruby shot Oswald inside the garage. But that's not where Nelson's brush with history, or the story of Oswald ended. Two days after the assassination of Kennedy and with an entire nation in mourning, Nelson was assigned to the basement's main door entrance from city hall. Oswald was scheduled to be moved from city hall to the county jail and he was being moved through the basement. Nelson said all of the television cameras, which broadcast the transfer and what happened in the basement, entered through the door where he was standing guard. As Oswald was moving through the basement, Nelson was approximately 20 feet away when he heard a shot ring out and then chaos. Chicago businessman Jack Ruby had gotten into the basement and shot Oswald with a .38 revolver. Nelson said Ruby was bent over and he heard someone yell, "Get his gun." "I grabbed for his hands and didn't find a gun," Nelson said. "But I managed to manhandle him into the basement jail house office and handcuffed him." Ruby reportedly said, "It's me, it's Jack," right after he fired the fatal shot at Oswald. Ruby knew several Dallas Police officers, but Nelson said he was not familiar with him. What hasn't been shared before is what Nelson said happened just before the shooting and then in the immediate aftermath.According to Nelson, right before Oswald was brought to the basement, a Dallas Police decoy car was brought to the basement and plain clothes cops were put inside the car to distract the media from the real transfer vehicle. The decoy car drove up the north ramp, which Nelson said was actually the entry ramp to the basement. "They drove up the north ramp which was actually the entry ramp into the basement and drove around the block," Nelson said. Nelson said the lieutenant driving the decoy car came walking back through his area after parking in the basement again. Nelson said he was positive that Ruby had not passed him to get into the basement. According to Nelson, Lieutenant Sam Pierce said Ruby walked right by the decoy car and walked down the north ramp into the basement. Shortly after the shooting, however, Nelson was told Dallas Chief of Police Jesse Curry wanted to see him. When Nelson got to Chief Curry's office, he saw Lieutenant Pierce was already in the office. The chief told Nelson, "R.C., this isn't going to be held against you with all the TV cameras that were coming into the basement." Nelson thought Chief Curry was implying that Ruby had gotten past him. >>>>> Nelson said he told the chief that, "You can tell them anything you want, but Ruby didn't come by me!" <<<<<
  23. Donald Trump posted the following comments on his national social media website "Truth Social." Trump viciously bashes Alvin Bragg and 'Horseface' Stormy Danials ( Daniels.) And: "Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her wacko husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway," Trump wrote. "Free at last, she has finally gotten rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck." "She is a great person, and will now be free to lead the kind of life that she deserves...and it will be a great life without the extremely unattractive loser by her side!" he added. I am always disturbingly amazed that our MSM has for years seen and heard these types of public pronouncements from Donald Trump ( hundreds ) and not reported them in their true reality context that they are exactly the kind of spoutings one would expect from a very aggressive and sadistically minded Jr. High School bully. I remember kids like that from that pre-teen time period. They would literally get their kicks by just blurting out insults towards other kids and in front of other kids. Taunting, demeaning, usually crude. Totally humiliating. Hey, you're ugly. You're fat. You're a joke. You're a girl. You're a sissy. What are you going to do about it dog face? These bully's were like little monsters. Everyone hated them. Yet, by high school age most of these Jr. high school bullies pulled back because there were bigger tougher kids who would now challenge them if they tried that stuff in front of them. However, Donald Trump has been acting and speaking like a typical junior high school bully his whole life! I mean just as graphically mean and insulting. Regards one's physical looks, sexual inadequacies, etc. The most humiliating stuff. It truly is sadism. This stunted adolescent sadistic bully mind set is so lifetime permeated into Donald Trump's personality he can't help himself and it's truly a pathological condition. No mature and normal adult speaks about others in social settings like Trump does. Can you imagine a high society gathering where one of the main guests starts shouting out the things Trump says about others to all the other guests? This divorce between Kellyanne Conway and her husband George for example? The most shameless, gross and even crude things he says about George Conway? The host of such an affair would feel compelled to confront such a shouting out crude insulting person and probably have them escorted away. Maybe someone really drunk might act out like that and say these most inappropriate things Trump says to a national audience. However, Trump says them soberly! He doesn't have the excuse of saying..." oh, uh, well ... I was drunk." Trump is truly a man with the mind of a 13 year old bully trapped into his body for the last 76 years! He is emotionally stunted to a pathological degree. A true "man/child" in this way. Imagine what others could say about Trump and his marriage to his wife Melania? And when and if they get divorced? Yet, most emotionally mature, intelligent and stable adults still would never post or say the most crude and insulting things Trump regularly says about others in any public forum. Only Donald Trump does such outrageously inappropriate things. Trump is the most pathologically inappropriate president in our history. His never ending junior high school bully insult public pronouncements are a shameful embarrassment for us all. Can't understand how there aren't regular MSM editorial condemnations of Trump's never ending, crude and outrageous public behavior and comments by our most respected political commentators and journalists with national stage access status.
  24. So obvious! "They" kept wanting to put Oswald in exposed situations. Publicly announcing even a "general" daylight time and place Oswald movement plan? One which generated an Oswald threat yelling crowd just across from the DPD basement exit ramp? Shoving, jostling, yelling, camera cable tripping press crowds right inside the DPD building with Oswald being pushed through that circus? This was "the opposite" of even the most basic common sense rules of police detained suspect physical security. Especially the security of the "most threatened" criminal suspect in American history! Of course, resulting in the absolute "worst" security failure result in American police history. The murder of Oswald right inside the DPD's own building. The whole Oswald security failure event was so improbably and impossibly illogical...it "forced" tens of millions of Americans to instantly suspect inside complicity and lose faith and trust in our entire criminal justice system.
