Operation Tilt (Bayo/Pawley Mission)
David Boylan replied to John Simkin's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
Rip Robertson noted that when he was training Perez's team, they were more interested in the infiltration procedures than in ex-filtration procedures. There was an 8/23/63 report from Victor Garcia (Guanantamo Naval Base) that Eddie Perez and his team had a fire fight with members of Castro's militia and had inflicted major casualties. Perez had lost two men in the fight - Thomas Vaquero and Rolando Rodriguez. Angel Luis Castillo, Bayo's brother-in-law, approached Martino about recruiting Rip Robertson to infiltrate Castillo and his men to help ex-filtrate Perez and his remaining men. Robertson turned down Martino's request. Angel Luis Castillo was an asset of ACSI (Army Intelligence). Perez (CIA crypt AMDENIM-11) had gone on previous missions with the CIA Paramilitary officers that went with him on Operation Tilt - Rudy Enders and Mickey Kappes. Kappes was closely associated with Alberto Fernandez (AMDENIM-1), Tony Cuesta (AMDENIM-14) and Larry Laborde (AMDENIM-4). Laborde was close friends with Gerry Hemming. Fernandez was the owner of the Tejana. The Tejana was used in many infiltration missions into Cuba, both proceeding and after the Bay of Pigs. -
This is one of my favorite documents. Luis Angel Castillo - https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148969&search=castillo#relPageId=1&tab=page

J. Walton Moore (CIA agent in Dallas)
David Boylan replied to Francesca Akhtar's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
Hi Paul, Col. Haig was indeed Alexander Haig. Col William Bishop is also the same guy as Clarence Ward Bishop. Bishop did work for Tabernilla. Tabernilla "promoted" him to Colonel. Bishop was running a training camp for Tabernilla and later Rolando Masferrer. Felipe and Ivan Vidal also trained there with Bishop. -

Larry, I've only looked at the Miami DCD. This major branch was run by Justin Gleichauf. Two of his guys were USAF Lt. Col Manny Chavez and Luis Rodriguez. Chavez was Col. William Bishop's main contact. DCD was responsible for the Caribbean Admissions Center. They had first dibs on any possible assets. Col Sam Kail also worked there. -
Ron, As far as a shooter arriving from SE Asia, I'd suggest looking at Evan Marshall's posts. He describes meeting him.

David Boylan replied to Douglas Caddy's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
ACSI used DUP crypts. I believe that DUP was used for assets in Puerto Rico. Veciana was DUP-748 and Eloy Guiterrez-Memoyo was DUP-749. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=155085 -
Two Oswalds in the Texas Theater
David Boylan replied to Ron Bulman's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
Jim, Ruby must have been an informant. 🙂 Strange mix there. McKeown knew Ruby, Oswald, Prio, Hernandez, Davis and Castro. -
Two Oswalds in the Texas Theater
David Boylan replied to Ron Bulman's topic in JFK Assassination Debate
Jim/Steve/Ron, et al. AMBIDDY/1 mentioned above was Manuel Artime. Henry Hecksher was his case office and was tasked with the AMWORLD project which was the "autonomous" anti-Castro initiative that was based in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. This was just getting started at this time. David Morales and Ted Shackley would later train Artime and Rafael Quintero on intelligence activities. Didn't John Martino say that LHO was to meet his contact at the Texas Theater, flown out of the country and killed? -

Bill and Gavin McDonald have been tireless in finding and expanding on new and old cryptonyms. You can explore the work that they (and Michael Clark!) have done here - https://www.maryferrell.org/php/cryptdb.php -
Old and out of date but it exposes some of the people that were in Milteer's circle.

Well he did visit Dallas. Just not sure of the exact date. R.E. Davis was Roy Davis, head of the Dallas KKK. Davis was a friend of Lt. George Butler. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=120097&search=Milteer#relPageId=18&tab=page Oswald doesn't know anything. He was jubilant.

Paul said: "Plan C" was to kill "Oswald" in the Texas Theater, and had not "Oswald" shouted at the top of his lungs "I am not resisting arrest, I am not resisting arrest" it seems certain he would have been shot right there. Paul, "Plan C" is interesting. John Martino stated that Oswald was to meet his contact in the Texas Theater and get flown out of the country where he would be eliminated. He kept changing seats to see if his contact provided some form of recognition. I'm speculating but I believe it was a torn-in half-dollar bill. John Armstrong noted that Oswald had in his possession when arrested 2 torn in half dollar bills. He also provided a doc showing that AMBIDDY-1, real name Manuel Artime, used this method also. Artime's case officer and AMWORLD contact officer was Henry Hecksher signer of this doc. Fonzi noted in The Last Investigation that Artime had "guilty knowledge" of the assassination. As noted from https://harveyandlee.net/Tippit/Tippit.html about 1/3 of the way down: After HARVEY Oswald was arrested, the police found halves of two different dollar bills in his wallet. This was a CIA method of clandestine contact (review CIA memorandum of 7/9/63 below). Wherever and whenever Oswald met his contact, this person would provide confirmation of his or her identity by showing the other half of these dollar bills. Curiously, neither of these half-dollar bills were listed on the police inventory of 11/23/63, the joint FBI/Dallas Police inventory of Oswald's possessions on 11/26/63, nor were these items photographed. At the National Archives, in Adelphi, MD, I inspected and handled each item of inventory listed on the joint FBI/Dallas Police inventory of 11/26/63. These items were not among the inventory nor were they ever mentioned by the Warren Commission. They are, however, described in detail on a Dallas Police inventory report. David this was Thomas B. Casasin aka Jacques Richardson. He was very interested in Oswald. Here's a great doc to do some further research on. I believe McCord was Wiley's case officer. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148835&search=mccord#relPageId=1&tab=page Here's a few items I've picked out: McCord as Case Officer (to Wiley?) https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148835&relPageId=97&search=mccord J. B. Matthews inquiring about Jack Rubinstein in 1958. Matthews was considered an anti-Communist expert. HUAC, Bircher, etc. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148835&search=mccord#relPageId=15&tab=page J. B. Matthews https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._B._Matthews I think this relates to "Wiley" getting arrested in Havana as part of an operation to find out info about 3 CIA employees being arrested. Was this David Christ et al? https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148835&search=mccord#relPageId=22&tab=page https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP09-02295R000100160001-8.pdf Heavily redacted but mentions that MRR, Artime's group, was heavily infiltrated by G-2 https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148835&search=mccord#relPageId=29&tab=page Mentions disrupting World Youth Festivals. Previously disrupted Helsinki. This would be the summer of 1962. We know that CIA sent members of DRE to do this. And we know that Rolando Cubela/AMLASH was also there at that time. https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=148835&search=mccord#relPageId=32&tab=page They also sent Tepidino and Henry Sloman (Tony Sforza) to try and recruit Cubela yet again. http://documents.theblackvault.com/documents/jfk/NARA-Oct2017/2018/104-10215-10029.pdf

An old post here: Last week we reported Hemming’s identification of Nestor Izquierdo, a black Cuban member of Brigade 2506, as the spotter in the Dal-Tex Building. We also reported Izquierdo’s close relationship with Rip Robertson, a CIA operative who ran a CIA front company on Stock Island hauling packs of arms into Cuba before the Bay of Pigs. Robertson captained one of the two boats delivering members of Brigade 2506 into the ill-fated Bay of Pigs. Some believe Robertson may have been involved in the assassination, a belief fueled by a photograph of a man watching the motorcade in Dealey Plaza who bears a striking resemblance to Robertson, as well as by Robertson’s close association with flashy Mafioso Johnny Rosselli who was involved in the CIA’s plots to kill Castro. FBI reports indicate Rosselli met twice in Miami with Jack Ruby in the months preceding the assassination. Izquierdo was also close to Rafael Quintero and Manuel Artime. In August of 1963 Izquierdo was also an asset of JMWAVE.
