  1. Thank you very much Chris, Jim and Len. I was literally just about to post (while I had the one link below up and handy) that I didn't see a place to search on the Black Op's Radio site (wish I had more time to spend there!) and a google search of just "Nixon in Vietnam 1967" comes back as no results found. I did stumble across this article which shows a picture of Nixion in Vietnam in 1967 with Lt. Gen. Lewis W Walt, though the article subject is Nixon at the Bohemian Club in 67. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/28/opinion/the-day-nixon-began-his-comeback.html What the heck was Nixon doing in Vietnam, apparently influencing U S policy, when he officially had no role in the Government at the time? This is some deep doo doo that doesn't seem to be well known. Any explanation by anyone ever on why he was there then or in 1964? Ken Burns, PBS, are you listening? Thanks again gentlemen.
  2. Jim I wonder who sent him, why is potentially addressed in the article. But I can't see Nixon suddenly deciding "I'm going on a world tour to bolster my image". He was a pawn. I'm curious if there is known sponsorship of the trip. BTW, is there link to Len's picture? Nixon/Lansdale together in Vietnam in 1967 is significant. Worthy of inclusion in the revised edition of Ken Burns 'documentary".
  3. I'd read part of the info in the attached article below elsewhere in the last few months. Can't remember where. http://jimhougan.com/NixonInTheJungle.html Did Nixon play a role in the creation of the Gulf of Tonkin incident?
  4. Given the Defense Counsel and Expert Witnesses it might hopefully have some truthful Historical impact. Odd or unique it's being done in the home adopted city of GHWB.
  5. Ok, you've answered it, Who owned the cia? Not Angleton or Dulles but... https://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Secret-Spymaster-James-Angleton/dp/1250080614 https://www.amazon.com/Devils-Chessboard-Dulles-Americas-Government/dp/0062276166
  6. MBsee could be a sub plot of MBC on behalf of (Shhh) Mockingbird. JR wasn't the biggest pimp in town but he knew how to get ahold of That person when LBJ came to town. Not to muddy the waters or anything. JMho.
  7. Mr. Simkin is retired, though you might pursue contact through the site if serious. Interesting subject in terms of relation to Time, Life, and Operation Mockingbird. Here's the "approved" version, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mockingbird
  8. Is the word getting out to the masses? "All Americans are guaranteed rights to peaceful protests. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." http://www.sportingnews.com/nascar/news/dale-earnhardt-jr-tweet-nascar-national-anthem-protests-donald-trump-childress/ocaje7aw2k0o1xqy3v9yxpmt0
  9. The first time I ever dared to post about the assassination on line it was on Jeff's website. I was paranoid about doing so, wondered if the Government would come looking for me for dissention, Mc Adams couldn't believe I was afraid of doing so. On 11/22/13 I posted this link while Jeff spoke. He let it stand. Thanks for the encouragement Jeff. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=have+you+ever+seen+dallas+from+a+dc-9+youtube&qpvt=have+you+ever+seen+dallas+from+a+dc-9+youtube&view=detail&mid=B353DC4B74B0E7301A83B353DC4B74B0E7301A83&FORM=VRDGAR https://us.macmillan.com/theghost/jeffersonmorley/9781250139108/ https://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Secret-Spymaster-James-Angleton/dp/1250080614 Glad to see him speaking again.
  10. No. The "Dallas Radical Right" did not Assassinate JFK. Haroldson Lafayette Hunt may have been the richest man in the world in 1963 by some standards but he was not the most powerful. Murchison may have paid Hoovers summer vacation bills at the race track in California where Sirhan Sirhan later worked. Walker was a de frocked former general whose influence was in decline at the time. None of them or the rest had the power to cover it up. They didn't control the Mockingbird or Military.
  11. Pinky, Jacob, Jack, Jake, Ruby, Rubenstien. Some Objective young researcher needs to write a new book on him. It would sell if done properly as well or better than some others done on the Assassination in the last several years and needs doing for posterity. He's a more marketable figure in History than some. If it told the Truth it probably would not be reviewed by the NYT, much like The Devils Chessboard. But it's near as important a subject in a different way. Al Capone's numbers runner kills JFK's alleged (it says so on the plaque on the side of the TSBD), alleged, killer. Seth Kantor's The Ruby Cover-Up should be a prerequisite. Snubbed by the Warren Omission was Seth, gee I wonder why? Leavelle's Hammin' it up here. He did a helluva job protecting his prisoner did he not? Some have come to question some of his statements over the years. Thanks for the link I'd not yet seen to one of my "local" tv stations. Though I prefer channel 5 (NBC) for local news, weather and sports 8 is close.
  12. "Lansdale helped design the ballots when Diem formally ran for President of South Vietnam in 1955. (?) He used red, the Asian good luck color for Diem, and green-signifying a cuckold-for Diem's opponent." The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence, 1974, Victor Marchetti, pg. 26. (sourced to the Pentagon Papers in it) Late April 1961, JFK had been in office three months. "And sometime during the night or early the next day, someone in the Pentagon inserted a major change in the Vietnam Task Force report. The change was slipped into a Laos Annex and attached to the report. This Laos Annex was redrafted two times between the end of the chaotic White house meeting on April 27 and it's appearance the next day. Consequently there were three versions. The new ingredient, a major U. S. troop commitment to Vietnam, was not in the first version written by Gilpatric's aide, Colonel Black. it was inserted into the second version and retained in the third and final report. The second version, which is the first document to recommend a U.S. troop commitment to Vietnam during the Kennedy administration, was written by Edward Lansdale." JFK and Vietnam, John Newman, pgs. 48-49.

  14. It is rather incredible that such would come from Boring. Considering his role in the president's (lack of) protection in Dallas.
  15. It all carry's forward to today. This Lady knows a little bit about the Koch's techniques. https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Money-History-Billionaires-Radical/dp/0307947904/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1505883206&sr=1-1&keywords=dark+money+jane+mayer+paperback It took a lot of oil to fuel the helicopters, and for the people who built them to get from home to work and back home.
  16. Your right Sir, the Gulf of Tonkin, 'just get me elected, 'I'll give you your Damn War'" (LBJ).
  17. So Prouty and Krulak wrote the Taylor/McNamara report For JFK? Wow. Considering their later implications of Lansdale in Dealy Plaza I'm ...lost... so Prouty
  18. I took it as it was the administrations idea, I. E. JFK's. Which, as you mention Dr. Newman, I think his book supports. Go back to NSAM 111 and the Thanksgiving Day massacre of 61 and it's aftermath of firing Dulles/Cabbell/Bissell. JFK showed his hand at that time by refusing to surrender to their demands for combat troops on the ground in Vietnam. He continued this policy after his reorganization until his death. He stated his intent to withdraw advisors by the end of 63 to more than one privately if I remember correctly.
  19. It wasn't presented as his idea, at least I didn't take it that way. I don't think whose idea it was is addressed.
  20. That was a good bit more objective than I expected, educational also. Not quite as deep politically as it could have been but still more than I expected. Hearing a U S Soldier that served that early on say "We were probably the last generation to believe that our government wouldn't lie to us" surprised me in that they would allow it to be said on an MSM production. I must also say I've never seen the Monk immolations presented to that extent, just a picture or two previously, which were quite graphic. This was grotesque, terrible. Withdrawal of "advisors" by 1965 was mentioned in relation to McNamara's plans but not JFK. No NSAM 263.
  21. It's a 10 disc set. It will take him a while to watch the whole thing. I missed last night's episode 1. Tonight's episode 2 "Riding the Tiger" is relevant to this site. It covers 1961 - 1963. "President Kennedy wrestles with how deeply to get involved in South Vietnam. As the increasingly autocratic Diem regime faces a growing communist insurgency and widespread Buddhist protests, a grave political crisis unfolds." I wouldn't bet on NSAM 263 or 273 being mentioned by name. Here's an interesting take on it. https://www.yahoo.com/news/ken-burns-apos-pbs-doc-173104887.html
  22. "so many stories have been in play for so long that it's hard not to get lost in them". Amen Sir. Thanks for the link. "Three - Prior - Plots" Speculation (reasoned?) on my part. A progressive Sequence of developing events? Not independent of each other?
  23. Apologies for my ignorance Larry. I've never read it was a myth, missed that post or topic. I don't question what you say in any way. I spent about an hour looking here, googling, and looking at book indexes for multiple combinations of JFK Motorcade, protection, security, November 22 1963, Fort Hood, stand down and more and didn't even find what I thought I read years ago. I.E. that a Colonel or Captain who was named (I thought) ready to leave with his troops early the morning of 11/22 protested vigorously to his un named superior. This is the education forum and I appreciate being re educated. Googling ARRB Prouty interview finally I came across this enlightening (for me, though "old') and interesting thread. Interesting how Mr. Root's opinion changes a bit over time. Guess I need to go to Lancer and buy the CD. Thanks to all there for your work over the years. http://jfklancer.com/
  24. Some now include L.A. and Washington in the mix for potential sites, which I cant discount. Tampa and Chicago are intriguing subjects but the Fort Hood Military stood down from protecting the president, under protest. Why?
  25. The Chamberlain scenario requires prior knowledge. To make a political statement during the assassination of the president. Then whoever really set up and managed the whole thing covers it all up for 50 + years? The assassination itself was a statement, I think, to the USA as a whole and future Presidents in particular. I've wondered before if Umbrella Man might have been a planned distraction to draw attention away from the limo as shots were fired. Given their actions at the time, though the "theory" has been well assaulted, radio in the pocket/antenna man and umbrella man were in cahoots still seems the most logical to me. As eyes on the prize forward observers they called for/ signaled that the throat, back, and likely a missed (hit Connally?) shots had not killed JFK and a second round was necessary. Radioman told the second round of shooters spotters go/fire, umbrella man physically signaled confirmation of such to both the spotters and shooters by pumping the umbrella. In the astonishment of the aftermath they both just sat there a few seconds then calmly got up and walked off in opposite directions. Never to be heard from again, investigated by the FBI, DPD or Warren Omission. Unless you believe Witt. Brian, can you refresh my memory? I've read of Witt before but can't remember, why was such an unassuming guy pumping an open umbrella on a clear day as JFK got shot?
