Geez... talk about a frivolous lawsuit.  Is the kid related to Courtney Love? 🤥

I've listened to that Nirvana Never Mind CD for years, and it never occurred to me that the baby had no trunks on.  All I remember is the baby reaching for the dollar bill.

On the Walmart version of the cover, and in some places like Turkey, the baby's genitals are Photoshopped out.  So the award should be reduced proportional to sales...

The baby belonged to friends of the photographer.  I read a previous story on him as an adult years ago, and he was much less aggrieved and lawyered-up then.

One would think that that cover paid for itself upstairs at every party that kid ever went to.  Above the age of consent, of course.

Wonder if Winwood & Clapton are getting concerned with the cover of the Blind Faith album with the topless 14yo girl.

Although the parents gave their permission for the photo shoot....the times they have a changed.

Pete,

I grew up with the non-pornographic American vinyl cover of that eponymous Blind Faith album--incidentally, one of my favorite albums of that phenomenal rock 'n roll year of 1969.  (Winwood and Clapton reprised some of those terrific Blind Faith songs in their live 2009 Madison Square Garden concert/DVD.)

And, speaking of covers, I recorded my own cover of Eric Clapton's Blind Faith song, Presence of the Lord, with my studio basement band many years ago.

I was going to mention that.  I heard she was 11, and she looks it - though I profess I am no expert.  I swear, OK?

Precocious (ahem!) young men had to order that "rocketship" cover, and the Hendrix nude hookers cover, from JEM Imports in England.  Those were good days for vinyl.  I doubt they'll be using that cover on any 180-gram virgin vinyl boutique reprints of Blind Faith now...

David, I never heard of that younger sister.  The Wiki quote must be right.  Well, she's in her mid sixties now.

Nice guitar work W.  Did you do the harmonica on Steady Rollin Man?

Yeah, Ron.  I think that was the only time I ever added a harmonica track to a Robert Johnson song, which is kind of like diluting a single malt Scotch.  A connoisseur of Scotch whiskey once told me to never do that.

It's starting to look like "Zeus New", for what it's worth, may be little more than a Dylan apologist screed. So far, they have focused only on bashing "JC" and her lawyers.

BTW, I just attempted to register at their forum, was instructed to email them and received a disrespectful email...hmm...can't imagine why...

I am wondering if they did this deliberately so they can vet whomever they allow to enter their forum...

Why would anyone think something of this nature would help an innocent man?

I ended up receiving a slew of emails from "Zeus". The first few were so disrespectful I have not yet viewed the rest. I can only wonder if I am considered some sort of a threat for some reason.  That is ridiculous, of course.

And I'm also starting to wonder just what Bob's connection is to this new website. Why does an innocent man need a propaganda site in the first place?

Could "Zeus" be Bob? Or is this person just a rabid superfan high on caffein or something else? Hmmm.....
