Joe Bauer
On 10/19/2022 at 5:13 PM, Joe Bauer said: Most of our Presidents are known for one or two famous speech or comment quotes in their terms. Profound statements that framed their legacies more than any others. Franklin Roosevelt: "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." Dwight Eisenhower: Farewell speech. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. JFK: Ask not what your country can do for you..." "We all breath the same air..." Donnie Trump: "I like to grab em by the pu$$Y." LBJ: "I don't think they ( the Warren Commission) or me or anyone else can be absolutely sure of everything that may have motivated Oswald ... or others that may have been involved." Bump. Steve Thomas
The Republican Party can blame Donald Trump for their midterm election losses all they want, but how many of the Party leaders went off to New Hampshire and Pennsylvania and Georgia to campaign for and support Bolduc, Oz and Walker and give their campaigns millions and millions of dollars? They have nobody to blame but themselves. Steve Thomas
W. Niederhut
Ben still doesn't get it. Yes, the 5-4 GOP Citizens United ruling has completely corrupted U.S. politics, but that doesn't mean there are no significant policy differences between Donks and Phants on issues like tax policy, healthcare, gun control, women's rights, LGBT rights, and climate change mitigation. Here's one major example. The GOP is the party of climate change denial.

We have the same system here in GA, it's all code by our rebranded Dixiecrats, known now as Republicans. When we get to choose from two black candidates, which isn't often at the state level, the R's back the one that will kowtow, making it difficult to elect a qualified independent candidate. The Repubs could run 100 women drugged into necrophilia state serial rapist Bill Cosby as their Georgia senate candidate and the Trump followers would enthusiastically vote for him. Kirk Gallaway
Ben, So you're super pro corporate management. . And of course, you're completely for the working guy! I get it! You just love everybody! And for all other of you guys who think Citizen's United is a "1st Amendment Free Speech " issue. Was this free speech on election morning? Because Musk never tweeted it. "People are challenging his statements that social media should not be moderated because of "free speech". I think the movement is pretty clever. He can't speak against censoring misinformation, and then turn around and censor anything that he feels misrepresents himself. Like the common person shouldn't get protection against lies against them? (eg. Sandy Hook parents) But a billionaire can use his influence to censor anything against him?" Four days before Tuesday’s midterm elections, the Fox News star took to Twitter to promote a segment on his primetime show that featured a couple of conservative pollsters forecasting dominant GOP victories in both the House and Senate. “RED TSUNAMI COMING?” Hannity posted on Friday night, hyping the “latest polling” from polling firm Trafalgar. “Is a red tsunami on the way?”” Some comedian said that’s not true. “If there was a tsunami coming, Ted Cruz would be on a plane heading for Cancun.” Steve Thomas
